Rainy nights always make me feel so warm and cozy...
from catsoul :
Happy New Year to you also. Glad to see that you are going to write here again. I enjoy reading what you write. So reading Russian lit. I always check out what is on your reading table. I myself am a readaholic and proud of it. Anyhoo, have a great day to the start of 2011. Take care. =^..^=
from yellow-ninja :
Oh, I do, thanks. It was just such a freak thing! Thanks for the note!
from animejournal :
I feel the same way lately myself. So busy, and yet I have a bad habit of lately procrastinating, knowing I have finals, papers, and different things to do. I think it's the weather...and how it's winding down to the end of the semester...or I'm just getting tired and ready to work on my career.
from julymalaise :
thanks hon for the comforting words.
from julymalaise :
Congrads on the anniversary! Ha! It's funny, I was watching Sci-Fi all night long yesterday, it was so crazy.
from eowyn86 :
Happy (early) Anniversary! I'm so glad you've stuck around D-land for that long... here's to seven more years!
from julymalaise :
Hope you feel better, I know how you feel! I hate colds myself!
from julymalaise :
You are welcome, hun!
from tiggersnail :
*edit: boyfriend's SISTER'S birthday. I cannot type, but all typos are forgiven on birthday weekend, right? :)
from tiggersnail :
Dude, I completely forgot as well! It's my boyfriend's birthday AND your birthday AND my birthday and APPARENTLY THE BEST DAY EVER FOR BEING BORN. I had a fantastic day full of cake and pizza and cake and presents and cake and hugs and cake. How was your day??
from skinnylizzie :
Happy (slightly late!) birthday! Hope you had a great day
from julymalaise :
Happy birthday! Cute little picture, lol.
from julymalaise :
That wasn't a bad picture you took, it was actually very lovely.
from yellow-ninja :
I totally know what you mean! I miss my home a lot, too - especially the flat land! I've lived near (not in, but close enough) the mountains for a year and still miss the plains terribly. Hopefully you'll adjust soon, though!
from julymalaise :
Your cat doing ninja skills? hahha. That's funny.
from julymalaise :
Awww, why thanks for the note really. Well, everyone around here is saying that book is really great, a classic and I am debating whether I shall buy it or just borrow it from the library, but I'm not sure. But thanks, lol, that was nice of you.
from julymalaise :
Your diary is cute, may I add you? Add me too!
from yellow-ninja :
It was the Praxis II! Thanks! I'd heard awful things about it, too, but I must have just taken the right courses in college since most of the material was familiar.
from yellow-ninja :
Congrats on your graduation! It's an exciting, gratifying and terrifying feeling! And doing it in English, too! Mine was in Secondary Ed with just a minor in English and I felt like I was going to die just before the end there! Congrats again!
from catsoul :
Congratulations are in order to you then...passing....graduating...having a super duper time out & about! :) =^..^=
from lobo21 :
Newcastle? sorry about the loss today (well no, no I'm not actually) anyway, here's hoping your boys get on a roll like Spurs did and drag themselves out of relegation. Crossing fingers. Wandered in, hopefully you won't mind if I wander back again sometime.
from yellow-ninja :
I'm with you on the maid of honor thing. I was a complete wreck in the weeks leading up to my sister's bachelorette/bridal shower. Ugh. You'll make it through, though!
from skinnylizzie :
Thank you for the birthday note m'dear!
from skinnylizzie :
Congratulations on getting in!
from theswordsman :
Cool! I didn't know Burn Notice was back. Take care
from eowyn86 :
Happy 2009! Best of luck to your grad school pursuits! I couldn't help but smile seeing the PB & J reference in that entry.... I had it all the time when I was a kid, yet I still eat the stuff. Probably because it's so easy.
from theswordsman :
Hang in there. Small, doable chunks, and get some fresh air in between. Good luck.
from skinnylizzie :
I'm about ten hours and forty minutes late but I'm still going to say a big fat happy birthday anyway! Glad it was a good 'un, and hurrah for being able to drink legally! Hope the worst of the weather manages to bypass you (and to think I was whining about the rain we've got today!).
from tiggersnail :
Happy birthday!! Hope you had a fabulous and enjoyable day from beginning to end. :)
from skinnylizzie :
I did a Women in History module in my second year, was one of the most interesting ones I did during university! Although yes, there was quite a lot of sex in it (mind you, that kept me more entertained than anything else to be honest). And The Time Traveller's Wife is an AMAZING book, it took a few chapters for me to get my head round the timeline and the way it shifted but I was hooked from the first page, I'm having trouble imagining how the movie could match up to it. And Arsenal were always going to beat Newcastle, the gulf between the big four in the Premier League and the rest of them is just enormous. However, the good news is that Hull are crap and so Newcastle should turn them over!
from theswordsman :
My brother had a blue MGB that I learned how to drive in. It went through lots of oil, if it started in the winter I froze from the drafts on the floor, and it bounced so much that frequent bathroom breaks were necessary. Oh - one time it got stuck on a speed bump at a park. I loved that car, and that's how I ended up with a Miata later on.
from eowyn86 :
Good luck! I believe in you - you'll totally KO those GRE's!
from skinnylizzie :
Well, I shall wish you a big fat GOOD LUCK for today! Hope it goes okay :)
from catsoul :
I like your idea for your tattoo. As to placement, when I had a symbol for "joy" tattooed on me I put it inside my right arm so that I was the only one who sees it. Your word is just for yourself. Besides the word for truth you could add something around it so that it isn't just that word. You have to remember that as you age, your tattoo will spread out. People who have really intricate or celtic patterns, as they age the color and patterns will meld together, so try to avoid that. I have had some of my tattoos now 31 years and because my tattooist explained this to me, the tat on my chest still looks great. So I say, make that appointment and get it done. =^..^=
from skinnylizzie :
How, how did I not know you supported Newcastle?! I myself prefer other teams in black and white but Newcastle will always hold a special place in my heart. If only because I was at one of the matches they used in the film Goal...my big screen debut, hurrah!
from catsoul :
Enjoy the new change and the newness of a "new" job!! I enjoy reading your enteries, I am a very random writer myself. Have a good day. =^..^=
from skinnylizzie :
Congratulations on getting the job!
from skinnylizzie :
Haha, I like the fine print at the bottom! And good luck with the interview :)
from catsoul :
Hi--wow you are almost done with another year of hard work. Good for you. As for getting a summer job, take a week off and then start looking after you get home. When I was in college and during summer, I just looked in the local paper and would apply for random jobs because I figured I wouldn't have to long to work at the job and I would meet interesting or odd people to write about!! Take care. =^..^=
from catsoul :
Hey there, really who gives a flying fuck about what others think. If you want to move, then do that. Don't let anyone rain on your parade, or make you feel bad about yourself for expressing how you feel. We need to let it out, and what better place then writing about it. Real friends don't care what you say or think, they love you anyway. With that said, it is all right to vent, when and where you want to. Take care. =^..^=
from skinnylizzie :
Boo about the internship, but it's good that you're looking at the positives instead :)
from catsoul :
Hi, good luck with the summer employment and internship "stuff!" I do remember having to do that years ago. I finally decided that I would just work year round and go to school when I was a junior, because of the hassle of finding summer employment being a college student. Plus the money I earned was a plus. Anyhoo, you are right, summer is just around the corner. Take care. =^..^=
from skinnylizzie :
No no no, I won't let you! Ancient Greek starts off easy (as soon as you get the hang of the alphabet, which isn't that hard) but suddenly descends into absolute chaos and utter madness, and generally makes people's lives a misery. Not wishing to sound melodramatic. Perhaps it's different with a good teacher, but I actually physically weep every time I remember articular infinitives, conditional sentences and the bloody verb oida. A little bit of me just died inside remembering them.
from skinnylizzie :
Thank you for the birthday wishes! Glad to hear you're having a good time off (especially if it involves pizza...ALL good time off should involve pizza. And perhaps some chocolate too)
from eowyn86 :
Hang in there... it's okay to be emo now and then. I know you'll make it through, but you're right, it sucks when you're in the middle of it... Much love!
from skinnylizzie :
Ooh, I can feel a massive outpouring of love for Classics trying to force its way out...
from skinnylizzie :
Well, if by 'at home resting' you really mean 'at work for nine hours' then yes, I've been getting plenty! Bah. It's not too bad really, it's just that annoying feeling like a sneeze is permanently stuck up your nose that I'm the victim of. Oh yeah, and I sound like I'm talking in a bubble. Yours definitely sounds worse, so I feel like I got off lightly.
from skinnylizzie :
It's only temporary, my myspace URL is the same as my username here and people at work have started adding me on myspace, so I'm just being uber-paranoid and getting rid of worky-type things just in case. I'd be doing it quicker but I'm working loads at the moment (ironically enough) and haven't had time...it'll be open again soon!
from skinnylizzie :
Boo, being ill bites the big one. I was ill with something similar during my last year at uni for about three weeks, so I feel your pain. Take lots of Vitamin C, drink lots of water and sleep! God, I'm starting to sound like my mother. Hope you feel better soon.
from catsoul :
Hi, I got through college and grad school knowing that I just had to suck it up and do the meaningless assignments/papers most of the time. I had to walk the walk, so to speak, in order to get a good paying professional job that I am proud of. It will and does get easier, I know, that is easier to say than do, but(behold the underlying truth) though it does. Anyhoo, take care and have a good semester. =^..^=
from skinnylizzie :
Wayne Rooney almost ALWAYS looks a bit scary!!!!!
from catsoul :
I like that idea about the first line of each month for a reflection in time. I will have to look up what I wrote. Have a good Monday!! =^..^=
from catsoul :
You know in a few years, the grades you earned on your papers really won't matter in the whole spectrum of life. Don't be so tough on yourself. Just do the best you can, with the time you have. Happy writing this weekend. =^..^=
from skinnylizzie :
Thank you for your lovely note the other day :)
from skinnylizzie :
Gooooooood choice on the mythology class :D
from skinnylizzie :
Dysfunctional mobile phones have to be one of the most annoying things around. How hard is it to make a mobile phone that works properly when loads of other people manage it? You should egg their factory in the dead of night. Or not. I once went through three phones in a year so I feel your pain. I felt a bit sorry for the woman in the call centre in India who was on the receiving end of my wrath though...
from theswordsman :
Hi Kelly. I don't know if you're into Post Secret or not, but I was just at the website and noticed they're going to be at your campus Saturday night. Have a great week. John
from skinnylizzie :
Oops, I'm a few hours late (sounds so much better than saying a day late!) but happy birthday! Glad you had a good day :)
from eowyn86 :
Happy Birthday to you! I know what you mean - as you get older it just seems to mean less, doesn't it? Although it can take some adjusting to start writing your name with a "2" in front. I'm glad you can still feel the child in you though - some people just ignore it, but that's kinda sad. I hope you have a great semester too!
from theswordsman :
Happy..birthday.. Sorry..my..exclamation..marks..don't..work..either. I..hope..20..is..a..great..year..for..you..John
from skinnylizzie :
Ah, poor old Wayne and his feet that keep breaking! That is quite a scary picture, but then he also looks like a spud head normally so that's not much better. Also, I am so very jealous of you, getting to go back to college!
from skinnylizzie :
Why thank you m'dear! And I in turn shall say that I hope unpredictable doesn't mean a bad two days and things are still good with you :)
from johnguinness :
Thank you. John
from eowyn86 :
Thanks for the note - I really liked that quote, and I think you're right about the "copying" thing. I guess the difference is that as writers mature, their copying should become less evident. I think I need to stop doing entries when I'm PMS-ing ;-) I hope the work at the pub continues to go well - you're pretty brave - I hate that feeling of not going into work; hopefully nothing too annoying will happen though. Good luck with your summer reading :-)
from johnguinness :
Thanks. Have a great weekend. Diaryland is broken - sorry if this duplicates.
from johnguinness :
I didn't hear about the extra scene until I was back home. What was it???
from whtlunalycan :
just surfing around randomly and thought i'd read your diary now i want to see the movie lol you didn't do too much of a spoiler though. well just thought i'd leave a note and say hi. ~Luna
from skinnylizzie :
Oh BOO on the stupid guy. Here we would call him many eloquent things such as 'prick', 'big nob with no nob' or 'cunt', which is my particular favourite because I'm crass like that. The first day at a new job does suck, but I hope it doesn't suck TOO much. Ooh, aren't I a little ray of sunshine?
from skinnylizzie :
I was going to say good luck for meeting the guy, but then I realised that because I'm rubbish and internetless, you posted this entry two days ago and will have already met him. So instead I'll say that I hope it went well!
from meganwaits :
Are you already in your new place? Hope you have a wonderful summer. At the moment I'm posting at http://megsworldnow.blogspot.com/
from johnguinness :
I guess Andrew got your gold membership set up. It's good to have you posting again. happy weekend. John
from johnguinness :
Hi Kelly. It's all a diaryland problem. I had started posting duplicates at theswordsman again, but four or five days ago they started only allowing gold members to post while they have limited capacity due to server problems that started a week ago. Tonight is the first night I've actually heard crickets chirping in the recently updated area. It's been kind of fun having new people from all over stop by my diary out of desperation. After Hurricane Katrina Andrew ran an offer for a while that any money people used to buy banners would be sent to hurricane relief. I took him up on it, and had probably twenty different ones, and I was getting maybe a hundred or a hundred and twenty hits a day and people were leaving notes and things. It was cool. If you need a study break this weekend, you should totally go see Spiderman. The reviewers are being nitpicky, but it was pretty darned cool. Good luck with finals and stuff. John
from skinnylizzie :
Heh, funnily enough I've done very little threatening it! Perhaps I'll give that a go next week... And I don't know if it's any consolation whatsoever, but I don't get two weeks off before my exams. Although I would like the record to show that just one weekend is cruelty to students, the bastards!
from eowyn86 :
Congrats on doing well on the presentation! Wow, I would be insanely nervous too - you're very brave. What was your topic, by the way? I've considered technical writing, although I've never taken any classes in it. I love literature too - it's just sad that there aren't many jobs in it, other than teaching.
from fairiegurl11 :
it's molly. basically got on here to start x-posting between here and lj since cnu internet doesn't like lj. also, leaving you a comment that i probably have that gmail chat thing, since i have a gmail account. and that also, for the record, you do not need to download aim to use it. meebo.com is heaven.
from eowyn86 :
That news was just horrible. I was going to complain about the crazy weather today, but then I saw the headlines and knew that would just be stupid. I'm praying for those people - shootings like that are just so senseless...
from swordmaster :
Hey Kelly. The new place is shut down. Someone stalked random notes I left for friends this afternoon and arrived uninvited. I'm shut down for good. Gotta go clean my gun collection. Take care.
from swordmaster :
Hi Kelly. The password and username are at the other place, and then I'm locking up. Good luck with the homework.
from skinnylizzie :
Flippin' heck, I really hope I wrote the right email address! Or else some poor person entirely has been subjected to the inner workings of my bizarre mind.
from skinnylizzie :
Of course you can! Do you have an email address I can send it to?
from eowyn86 :
I personally find post-modernism to be very cynical most of the time, but occasionally attractive in certain forms. But then, I tend to believe that the "Enlightenment" was largely the opposite of enlightening anyway, and caused people to trust in themselves too much. But that's just me. Ugh, homework, quizzes, papers - it's all so annoying, isn't it? I mean, in essence we're paying to be able to do this stuff, and yet it seems more like slavery at certain times (of the month, hehe) doesn't it? Anyway, I hope you'll be able to peaceably get your living situation sorted out - I still don't know who I'll be living with next year - uncertainty sucks, but I guess things will take care of themselves somehow. Good luck hiking Homework Mountain - that's probably what I'll be doing tonight too...
from skinnylizzie :
Ha don't worry, schoolwork's far more important! Although I will deny ever having said that...
from eowyn86 :
Funny, hotmail wasn't working for me either until just a little while ago - stupid websites. That peep jousting sounds like so much fun - I'll definitely have to do that when I go home for Easter! My little brothers will be amused, I'm sure. And maybe if I pop all my sugary candy, I won't be as tempted to eat it ;-)
from skinnylizzie :
I can't think of any other plays...then again I've never read Ulysses so I'm not sure I'd be much help! The Oedipus ones and Hippolytus are probably your best bets :)
from skinnylizzie :
I feel your pain, my friend. Electrical stuff malfunctions around me (this week alone: toaster, microwave, oven), and phones...don't get me started on craptacular phones!
from eowyn86 :
Hmmm...I would go with Edith Wharton on that one. But that's only because I liked "Roman Fever" more than "The Awakening"
from eowyn86 :
Yep, it's back to the grind again. I was so sad leaving home but then when I got here it felt like break had only been a few days. Still, things are different. Oh well...have a good semester :-) Hopefully there's less snow down there!
from skinnylizzie :
That is the cutest dog I've seen in a long time. I have GOT to get me one of those.
from eowyn86 :
Merry Christmas, Kelly! Have a great time with the family, away from the crazyness of school :-)
from skinnylizzie :
Billy Shakespeare always confused the hell out of me at school, I hated that everybody seemed to find really tenuous links in it and sound really intelligent. They're still doing it now at university, about Greek tragedies and the Aeneid, and it's taken me all this time to realise that year, tenuous is all it is! Why couldn't Virgil just sit down one day and think 'hey, that Odyssey poem was a bit of a laugh, I'm going to have a go!' and write a poem for the sake of it?! I don't think he wanted us to get this excited about every single little word he wrote! Sorry, subject close to my heart at the moment. I always interpreted texts the most straight-forward way I saw them and I got by okay, so I'm sure you'll do even better, being an English major. Hope you manage to fit in some fun things over Thanksgiving! (PS: sorry for the length of this note...I get carried away sometimes)
from tiggersnail :
I most definitely just finished watching Return of the King this morning. *le sigh* I too love the mouthtasticness. Now, however, it's time to pop in Fellowship of the Ring and start up the 158th viewing of the extended editions of Lord of the Rings. w00t!
from skinnylizzie :
Hey, thank you for your lovely note the other day. Think I might've taken your advice a little too literally and created too much relaxation time (as in, haven't done any work in three days, oops!), but oh well! Can't hurt for one week :)
from tiggersnail :
P.S. I TOTALLY love finding books that I read and adored as a child. It's fun to have them around to read for yoursef, and I look forward to forcing younger generations to read them, as well. Bwa ha ha!
from tiggersnail :
Nooo!! Opera is so much cooler than Firefox! And it's like a billion times less prone to have security issues! Plus... it... cures cancer! Just kidding. Props for having a non-IE browser, though.
from skinnylizzie :
Oh, I like that picture too. It calmed my inner rage that my laptop was the cause of (isn't it always?!). And oh, that schedule sounds terrifying, do you really have classes that finish at 10pm? I feel hard done by when one of my classes finishes at 5pm! Note to self: stop whining about timetable...
from eowyn86 :
Good luck with writing! It's definitely hard to find time to do it while in college, so kudos for not quitting. I totally know what you mean about trying to please everyone. I seem to have this fear of having people mad at me. It needs to stop. And drama is evil.
from tiggersnail :
Good luck with all the homework! Yay for all the Tolkien goodness in your life. :) That will surely make the pain of homework much easier to bear.
from johnguinness :
Hi Kelly. I just got back from my Econ final, and your highway sign looked menacingly like my Econ professor predicting Doom. Take care. John
from clairecav :
Template looks good to me, a bit to the side like you said, but heh! Groovy Extras page also ;)
from skinnylizzie :
Looks good to me, I like the pictures :)
from johnguinness :
Hi Kelly. The new layout looks really nice - I love the pictures. But in Netscape, the whole layout only uses a fourth of the screen, so things look pretty small. Have a great week. John
from clairecav :
Och sorry! Belated (wrote 'bleated' there for a silly second) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
from eowyn86 :
My goodness, Happy Birthday! I can't believe I missed it. It's exactly a month after mine. Yeah, I'm not looking forward to having homework again. I have 3 classes tomorrow, bleh. Good luck on the speech!
from tiggersnail :
Happy birthday back at ya, chica!! Hope you have a smashingly fantabulous day, complete with dreams coming true and presents galore and unholy amounts of sugary delights. OH, and have yourself a birthday e-hug! *hug* :) Again, have an awesometastic day, birthday twin!
from skinnylizzie :
Happy birthday! Hope you're having a great day :)
from johnguinness :
Hi Kelly. I hope Ernesto misses you (and everyone else). Have a wonderful birthday. John
from skinnylizzie :
Haha, thanks! I was quite impressed too. Although I must confess that I wasn't quite as calm as my diary may have suggested, I was so excited that I insisted on walking past him about four times until I'd had my fill. No wonder I got given such a strange look...
from skinnylizzie :
Ooh now there's an idea, I could quite go for having a mad, rabid dog to protect the flat of doom! Thanks for you note, glad college is going well :)
from eowyn86 :
I hate laptops too. At least yours still has a warranty - mine waited until after it expired to go all screwy. I hope you'll get it fixed though - somehow I've struggled through 3 years with mine and haven't trashed it yet. I probably would if I had the money, and yeah, I feel your pain there too. Sometimes the urge to buy something is just the strongest when the need to save money is the direst. Or something like that. Good luck on getting ready to head back... I'm sure it's a hassle
from skinnylizzie :
ACK, computers are the bane of my life so I feel your pain. And it's not daft being upset about them, they get so frustrating that you have two choices - laugh or cry, and you don't usually feel like doing the first one after fighting for hours with a laptop!
from eowyn86 :
Wow, you can actually make sense of those error report things? I can't for the life of me. I also wonder about the good it does to "report" the error to Microsoft. Like Bill Gates is going to care! But yeah, I'm with you on the frustration end of things - laptops can be sooo annoying sometimes.
from clairecav :
The ending left me absolutely GOBSMACKED. Actually, I was in shock right from the moment of the Elizabeth/Jack thing (trying not to lay it all out incase I spoil it for one of the stupid people who have not yet seen it who come to your notes page :P)... SHOCK! SHOCK! But the ending, cor. I thought the boots were Jack's and it would all have some happy ending. But no. SHOCKER.
from skinnylizzie :
'How could England lose?' - Ha, I said that over and over again on Saturday afternoon! I was a little (read: extremely) devastated. Bloody Portugal. And I was relying on Brazil to get through and hammer them, so I'm not doing so well in the World Cup this time! I think I may be a curse on the teams...
from eowyn86 :
Wow, sounds a lot like Maine. Well, we haven't had any flood warnings around here, but I think we broke a record for the amount of rain in one month. It rained for soo many days in a row - and then the day I went to work on Monday, it was sunny. Yeah, funny how things work...
from eowyn86 :
I would agree with you there - I sweat the small things way too often as well. I prefer to call myself "detail-oriented," but I think it boils down to the same thing. I thought that the few times I waitressed made it worse, because there are so many little things you have to keep track of, and the more I did that at work, the more I tried to do it other times. But the good thing is that I sometimes notice things that others don't...I think there are at least some good things that go along with being detail-oriented, even if it bugs me to death the other 90% of the time ;-)
from skinnylizzie :
Oh God, you've fallen foul of the evil, perverted insects as well...I agree, they're definitely plotting something...
from theswordsman :
Hey Kelly. It's kind of quirky, so people either love it or hate it, but you might want to check out one of the Jeeves and Wooster books by P.G. Wodehouse. I always enjoyed it as light summer reading. I hope you're having a great summer. John
from clairecav :
Thankyou! And congrats to you too! Kick Biology ass ;)
from skinnylizzie :
Well done for your grades! Especially in the evil Biology :)
from skinnylizzie :
Good luck for your exam! I'll keep my fingers crossed that it goes okay...
from eowyn86 :
As a fellow college insomniac, I heartily bid you good luck as the last stretches of the semester finally come into view - we can do it! (and come out alive, hopefully ;-)
from theswordsman :
Hi Kelly. A guy named Edward Marston wrote a series of mysteries about a couple of guys who go around working on the Domesday Book and settling land disputes and end up having to solve murders wherever they go. They're pretty well-written. He also wrote the Elizabethan Theater mysteries. I had my library order in all of both sets when I wasn unemployed for a while. Take care. John
from skinnylizzie :
I love the new layout, it's all so prettiful! And the picture is just fabby
from somstar :
I love the image you have for your layout, it's beautiful!
from skinnylizzie :
Bleurgh, comedies - again, you have my sympathy. Epics and tragedies aren't so bad, but comedies are just plain crazy, like the people who wrote them were high on something or other. Anyway. Thank you for your kind note the other day :)
from theswordsman :
Hi Kelly. You grammar check venting? I think you're gonna be okay. And not wanting to live with three week old trash doesn't make you OCD - you're perfectly normal. Just focus on one project at a time and give it your best shot. I hope your week improves very soon. Take care. John
from skinnylizzie :
Ugh, The Aeneid; a piece of writing I affectionately refer to as the most boring bit of literature I've ever come across in my life (well, joint bottom with a couple of others!). I only hope you find it more interesting than me so that your evening didn't suck! Hope you had a good Valentine's Day :)
from eowyn86 :
Thank you - I hope you had a great Valentine's Day too! Wow, you're almost to 400 entries...congrats :-)
from theswordsman :
Was it Adam Smith? I went past his house on a bus tour of Edinburgh, Scotland. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. Cheers. john
from theswordsman :
Hi Kelly. Happy Singles Day to you. John
from theswordsman :
Hi Kelly. The song is called "I'm Gonna Be (500 miles). It was by the Proclaimers, and I guess covered by Crash Test Dummies. There are so many places now that list all the lyrics of songs that whenever I want to identify one, I just type in whatever lyric I know in quotes. That's how I found this one for you. Spyware is evil. I had one that Norton's website identified but couldn't get rid of. I found out what file it waa hidden in and wrestled it manually. It was like an exorcism, and I'm pretty sure my monitor was shaking as it tried to fight me off. But I posted a win for the good guys. Have a great weekend. John
from skinnylizzie :
Ach, Norton is evil! It's ruined more computers than I can shake a stick at! Do you get McAfee over there? Only that's what I have on my laptop and it's amazing (plus the uni settings didn't muck it up last year). And your desk looks just like mine, hehe :)
from theswordsman :
Hi Kelly. Your desk has more activity going on when you're away than mine does when I'm sitting here. Have a great weekend. John
from skinnylizzie :
Ack, cramps are the worst, especially the night-time buggers. I always sleep clutching a pack of industrial sized painkillers if I think they're going to strike whilst I'm asleep (bit afraid of pain). And hurrah for going home for the weekend! Hope you have a good time
from tiggersnail :
O_o You're a LOTR addict, too??!? *adds to buddy list instantly* Wow. Out of curiosity, is your birthday September 4th? I'm guessing this because of your username, but it'd be a fairly freaky coincidence... My birthday is September 4th, I'm OBSESSED with LOTR... I guess not that freaky of a coincidence, but still. ... I'm gonna shut up now. *runs back to hiding behind some giant woman's skirt*
from skinnylizzie :
Oooh, and I forgot to say - history major! (not that I'm biased) :)
from skinnylizzie :
Thank you!! It sucks that you were feeling a bit homesick, that's the worst feeling in the world. And as for the Iliad...maybe one day I'll get round to reading that (can't believe I've managed to get away with not reading it for my degree yet, not that I'm complaining!)
from theswordsman :
Hi Kelly. the King Kong ending: big ape & blonde go to top of building. Planes with guns attack from above, apparently not caring that their bullets are aimed down towards New York City. Author climbs up building to rescue blonde. Ape goes down. "Twas Beauty that killed the Beast." Roll credits. Cheers. John
from clairecav :
Pirate penguins??? *gasps and collapses into a puddle of wonderfulness*
from clairecav :
Heh, well I only had about twenty to write out so it was a snap! Christmas cards rock ;)
from clairecav :
I am in love with that Italian phrase you had in your entry. If only I spoke Italian! The only thing I can say is "Ciao bella" and I think that's something a man says anyway.
from clairecav :
Exactly! Sometimes I think that I am already clever enough and don't need any more of that school nonsense. Then I do something very stupid and realise that I am wrong. Very wrong.
from skinnylizzie :
Afternoon :). Ooh, and I think I would be great in the mafia, apart from the whole leaving horses' heads in people's beds (or am I mixing that up with some twisted film? I just don't know anymore). And sorry about the deleting, I'm a bugger for writing things and then deleting them because they don't read well. Hope the revision's going well!
from clairecav :
Good luck with your exam-y things!
from skinnylizzie :
Hmm, I don't think I have any useful advice because my laziness seems to get even worse during the exam periods. But I AM going to say good luck for your finals :)
from clairecav :
Thanks, I might take you up on that offer one day =) Everybody needs someone to talk to now and then.
from clairecav :
Ooh, thankyou! I think your diary rocks too and shall add you shortly =)
from skinnylizzie :
I don't think I've ever left you a note...how bloody rude of me, sorry about that. I do a history degree, I take nothing but history classes! I took it because I looked at the graduate positions former history students had taken and they covered pretty much anything apart from law, medicine and veterinary science :)
from eowyn86 :
College is certainly a learning experience, isn't it? Gosh, I would go crazy if I had to deal with that many fire alarms! I guess it's a good thing caffeinated coffee makes me sick and drowsy, because at least I won't overdose on it ;-) Anyway, I'm sure I'll have a lot more to "learn" once I actually start "going" to college too.
from i-c-dumppl :
My mom said (belated) happy birthday, and that she's glad you liked your pillow and decorations so much! We had a lot of fun at the park! Yay!
from eowyn86 :
Thanks! So, you only have to take one science class for general ed? Lucky! I have to take two - and one has to have a lab with it. I took a biology class last semester that was very interesting, but unfortunately each science class has to be from different disciplines - and I didn't want to do physics! Otherwise I would have done both from biology, but alas, I can't. I didn't do all that well in high school chemistry either...
from eowyn86 :
Happy Birthday to you! Hope it was a good one :-) Personally I found the voting aspect of being 18 much more fun than the lottery aspect ;-)
from gupy :
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! I hope that this year will be awesome and filled with blessings! Tk care! God Bless! <>< Gabriela

Thanks for all the "tips" of the college life. Im going to college next year, so it's good to hear of someone that is living that right now. I hope that everything works out great during the year. Tk care! Gabriela
from i-c-dumppl :
Alexander Pope wrote that line. At first all I could think of was Erasmus, but that definitely wasn't it. Anyway, do what you want with your majors. And don't forget to take some freetime to yourself. Just stop by my room to watch Coupling, and don't be afraid to tell people off. You can't let your roommate walk all over you, because it's your room too. She'll respect you more if you demand respect. Once you say, "Hey, I really do need sleep," or, "I don't think it's appropriate to have male visitors sleeping here," then she has to do what you ask, or you can get her in trouble with the RA. You shouldn't have to leave your room where stuff can get stolen by people she brings back just so you can study. She may not have sex until she's married, but she shouldn't have guys in her bed. She may know them well, but will never know if they're under the influence. He could have done serious damage to the two of you, and maybe you need to inform her of that. Unless you honestly don't mind. And take your time to figure out your minors, because it's your future. Remember, you're paying the school 6,000 dollars a year, they're indebted to you, not you to them. And check your email so you can vote for Tidus.
from eowyn86 :
I hate stress too. And most of the stress I have during school is also coming mainly from myself. My psychology professor this summer always told us to not be perfectionists about our GPA's, because your GPA has little to no correlation with how well you end up doing in your career. I still don't think I'll ever stop worrying about mine, but it helps to know there's more to it, and that progress can't truly be measured by a simple number. Anyway, I hope you get through the first week all right - it was kinda crazy for me, trying to adjust to everything, and I bet it's even harder when you're away from home. And your 100-level Italian class isn't even conducted in English? Wow, now I'll be scared to take Spanish next year, since that's what I'm planning on. Well, good luck with the rest of the week...I know you'll get through it. I found that college helped me to appreciate weekends SO much more!
from eowyn86 :
Thanks for the nice birthday wishes! :-) Don't worry about being a worrier (hmmmm, that doesn't make sense). After I go through something that I worried about (like textbook-buying), I often look back and realize how trivial it was, but that's only hindsight, so I don't blame you for worrying about things like that because I would be doing the same. Anyway, as far as English, if it was my choice I would do a concentration in creative writing (or just writing), because I think developing writing as a skill would be more useful than studying literature, in the long run. I've seen schools that give you the option of doing a concentration in literature or writing, but unfortunately my little school doesn't; there's just an English major. And most of the classes I have to take deal with literature, but there's a creative writing class too that I want to take soon, so that looks fun. :-) I've even seen schools that offer creative writing majors, which would be cool, but they're kinda out of my price range, unfortunately.

from eowyn86 :
I hate feeling like I wasted a summer, because I know what you mean. I look around and see other college students working full-time and earning all this money, and here I'm still a part-timer with all this time on my hands. I guess we all need to learn to be careful when comparing ourselves to others, because different people work on different schedules. It sounds like you've had time to write and daydream this summer though, which I wouldn't consider a waste of time :-) I don't think you'll need to worry too much about college books (other than the fact that they're so darn expensive!). In my first semester, one book didn't come in until the morning of the day the class started, but I still got it on time. *Laura*
from i-c-dumppl :
Nah, your poetry is your best writing. Sometimes I think your prose gets too caught up in your thoughts, and you stifle yourself. Poetry doesn't have the limitations of punctuation and clear thought definition, so it doesn't intimidate you, and it's probably your best and most concise mode of expression.
from i-c-dumppl :
Gah, I hate Hemingway. He's so pretentious with his dialogue. And a womaniser. I don't understand why people like that book! The entire plot is comprised of sex and cheese. It was a waste of my time. Steinbeck, however, is a pure genius. Might I recommend "Cannery Row"?
from goldberry91 :
Your subjects sound a lot like the ones I want to take in my first year of uni. I'm going to do a language too (German, but I'd like to take up a new one as well, such as Spanish), and definitely creative writing. I much prefer biology to chemistry or physics too, though I like the astronomy side of physics, and am planning to do a year of that at uni. When you describe your subjects like that, it doesn't seem as though college is going to be such a major change from high school, in terms of what you're learning.

Yes I mean university email. I know I'm pretty computer illiterate, but I've set up my own email accounts before. I just need to know where to go for my university email.

Sounds like a good batch of classes for your first semester :-) I took English 101 and history in my first semester too. Wow, some of your classes are only 50 minutes long! Lucky you - I have to get it all crammed into 2 hours & 45 minutes one day per week!
from eowyn86 :
Congrats on your graduation!! I know what you mean, I couldn't believe it was over either. But for some reason, after I got done, I felt like it had been no big deal (only after the fact, of course). I think I usually look back on hard things and see them as easier than they really were at the time. Oh well. Enjoy your summer!
from eowyn86 :
Wow, I know what you mean. I don't like lying either - I try not to do it, usually I only hide the truth when I don't want to hurt someone's feelings about something they really like, (like they're new hairstyle). But I think it's fine to be considered "good." The media usually propagates that it's better to be "bad," but then, they usually hide the bad things associated with a "bad" lifestyle.

Gah, I don't think my car has an alarm, but I'm sure that if it did I would have accidently set it off numerous times by now. Kingdom of Heaven looks like a good movie, especially considering it stars Orli. I'd love to see it, even though it looks kinda gory. But I don't think many movies could be more violent than passion of the Christ. We'll see. Take care!
from i-c-dumppl :
Oh, and I like your new layout. It's very relaxed.
from i-c-dumppl :
I feel really guilty. I'm taking a mercy day tomorrow, because I haven't finished my essay yet. What, do I lie? Do I say I left it at home? I just couldn't finish it. It wasn't long. I'm just so tired from the French Exam. But that's a bad excuse (though it's not one at all), because we've had since last week to finish it. But I can't write it today. I just can't. I love the book, I've got too much to say about it, but my mind is empty and my feelings are hurt and I just feel like finding sympathy in the story, not picking apart its corpse in analysis. Bright side: my brother wants to read "This Side of Paradise". Interesting... very interesting... I'm going to share the storyline of Daniel Deronda with him, too, since he was interested in the bit about Deronda's real uncle (not Sir Hugo) really being his father! Weird! I love that foils system she had going there... everything is paralleled perfectly... and the motif of the dogs is really interesing. Sorry for consuming your time.
from goldberry91 :
Thanks heaps for the birthday wish! I really like your new layout, it's very pretty and calming. I've been having writer's block at the moment too... isn't it the worst? I just have no inspiration, and am attempting something a bit new... trying to work my way through writing a novel, based on the inspiration I had when I first started, though that has now run out, but I'm still trying to work through it. So I'll see how it goes. And a useless fact: a theatre studies class at our school did antigone last year. I didn't see it but the set looked nice!
from eowyn86 :
Lovely layout :-) It's definitely "summerish", and that's pretty much my favorite shade of blue ever. I hope do you have a good month of May!
from eowyn86 :
Thanks! I took that photo at a little hiking trail in the next town over. Even most people around here have probably never been there, but there's a river going through there, and a dam that water flows through, creating a bunch of little waterfalls. So naturally, it's one of my favorite places to photograph :-) Well, good luck on your college plans! I wish I could actually "go" to college too, but I might apply somewhere else this fall...it all depends. Have a good weekend! *Laura*
from i-c-dumppl :
You do realise that by typing about not having anything to do, you were doing something... right? If you're so floggin' bored, get up off your butt and do something constructive. Read some Virgil. Draw a picture. Iron your pants. Close your eyes and pretend to skydive. Anything! Here's a good idea: Stand in the middle of your room. It can be your attic room FROG thing, that's fine. Yes, do it now. Now close your eyes for a couple of seconds, and thing about a wacky dance that no one could have ever done ever in their lives. Plot it out. See it. Now, open your eyes, and dance! Do any form of dance or anything that no one has ever done! And sing a song while you do it! In a made-up language! But, not too loudly, your mum'll get mad! Now, stand on your head (kidding)!
from i-c-dumppl :
Like I continue to say, your layouts get nicer and nicer! I love the colours! Anyway, I hope Spike feels better! Happy Spring Break!
from i-c-dumppl :
I disagree. I think back in the olden days before computers, life was more stressful, especially for the people today who hold low computing jobs. Usually they'd resort to manual labour, which seems just as stressful as a fast-paced society, though probably more gratifying. I don't think it's fair to say that society has sped up, I do think it's fair to claim that people refuse to make the best of their time.
from i-c-dumppl :
Oooh, Kelly... what a pretty layout! Garsh, I wish I could make layouts like that... grrness.
from i-c-dumppl :
I know that Macs can be used for all that, but I read on the Sony website that the K Style was good for that, too. Both seem to have the same capabilities, but there has to be one that's better for a student to carry around. Maybe I can ask someone at BestBuy when I finally need to buy it.
from i-c-dumppl :
Yay! Thank you for mentioning me! And you did uber-well on your monologue, all three of we directors were impressed. Everybody did really well, actually!

from i-c-dumppl :
I read your diary... but you should know that!
from eowyn86 :
I so know what you mean about books. I keep thinking that if I'm supposedly good at English, I should be able to at least finish a book I like. I tried to re-read the Fellowship of the Ring last year. Even though I'll readily admit that the LotR series is one of the best ever written, I still get so lazy, and am only halfway through the book. Maybe it's different if I already know the story. Sometimes I wish that books didn't have little things on the back cover that tell what happens in the story - even if they don't give away the details, sometimes I feel like I won't be missing much by not finishing the story. I don't know - it's hard to understand why I do it too... *Laura*

They're mine I tell you! Mine all mine! (ps. if Amanda were to "dramatise" a moment in her life, would it be preferable to write about her in the third person, like right now?) (Amanda's just begging Kelly to lend her own thoughts to make this note omniscient!)
from i-c-dumppl :
Apparantly these new-fangled contraptions called computers... I have no idea where that was going, just wanted to make a follow-up on your last note. Whaddya mean you've nothing to type about? Tell yah what, you can right one of my two remaining NYU essays! Do you want the four-page life one, or the 500 word Frank McCourt "I'm gonna drop names to suck up to you" one? I, personally, want neither. Well, okay, I want both. Stay away! They're my essays!
from slywy :
I did have to chuckle at the recent entry where you have to type stuff for classes. Imagine me, between 1979 and 1983, typing everything on a manual typewriter. And if there were mistakes (and there often were), I had to start over at my 20 wpm speed. Ah, if only . . .
from i-c-dumppl :
I want to attempt it all by myself... I wanted a sort of Typepad kind of layout, that magazine-ish kind of look, but I want to try it on my own. Tiled blocks and all! If I need help, though, you'll be the first I consult.
from goldberry91 :
Happy New Year to you too! May it bring you thousands of wonderful opportunities, and don't go overboard with the caffiene!
from eowyn86 :
Don't worry - I read your diary! I read every single diary on my buddy list whenever I get on, because I really do like keeping up with them all. I really don't think your writing is all that boring. You may not have a whole lot of events going on in your life at the moment, but you can find a way to be amusing, no matter what's happening. I remember one of your first entries that I read was all about your being bored - I marvelled at how an entire entry about total boredom could still be interesting to read. Keep it up, even if you have to pulll topics from the air (that's what I often have to resort to ;-) Happy New Year to you too! *Laura*
from i-c-dumppl :
Breathe not a word of your grueling task to anyone on this diary or your other. The butt-munch can do searches galore and find me. And then life would be a disastor... not for me... but the butt. A snow day for an inch of snow? Wow, that is pretty crazy. If they did that here, we wouldn't have school half the year! (which would be kinda nice). I had a friend who went to Virginia around this time of year, and he said it had just started snowing lightly and people were scrambling around to buy snow tires for their cars. Well, I guess it's all about perspective. Goodnight! *Laura*

Thanks for your note! Yeah, the whole racquet incident was strange. I'm not coldhearted or anything...I was concerned that she was ok...but it was prtty funny. I'm looking forward to German food, though I hope I don't become a statistic like the 49% of the German population that is overweight. And sorry if you've updated again, I didn't have time to check my buddy list, but hopefully I'll find an internet cafe at Singapore airport!

You need to stop asking for incessant assurance from everyone, especially with your last sentence! I know I get on your case a lot, and all humans depend on other humans, but you need to cut the angst a little bit! I don't think you're honestly as angsty as you let on, and I hate to say you're doing it for attention, but you live a fairly nice life, and your complaining is starting to seem feigned! Chill out and enjoy your life, instead of taking it forgranted!
from eowyn86 :
I totally know what you mean. The highway is evil - and people are often telling me to just relax, as if it were something I could just "decide" to do. I wish it was. But I'm glad I'm not alone in that. *Laura*
from goldberry91 :
I can always relate to how you feel, about not knowing what words to come out with, about wondering what world you're actually living in... I'd suggest, love the fact that you live in your own world. Don't try and snap back to reality- your world's probably better! And I know how you feel about having a job, it annoyed me for a long time that I didn't have one, so I handed out close to 40 resumes before I actually got some call-backs. And now I've got one, though I'm not starting until next year and the pay is crap... but it's a start!
from i-c-dumppl :
It's called being a teenager. I'm completely dependent on my parents. But now it's worse for me, I'm only dependent on my mum. She has no income outside of childsupport now, and alamony, and I don't have a job to pay for what I want, like orchestra trips or parties or Christmas presents for her or my brother. But she says that I'm more needed at home, which is true. If you're parents are bugging you about a job, tell them my situation, I don't mind, maybe they'll decide that it's not so important if I don't even need it. Because, honestly, I think school is your job, and it should be foremost in your priorities. But I still get to go on the Orchestra trip, so yay! And don't think I'm saying your situation shouldn't even matter, but what I'm saying is that if even I don't have a job, why should you?
from goldberry91 :
Don't you hate that?? When you really need to say something but it won't come out.

It's good to know not all democrats just use the war on terror as something against Bush. I don't think Bush is perfect either - I just like the strong stance he takes on moral issues (abortion, etc.), and I don't really think Kerry had much of a plan anyway. But that's just me. At least there's more to life than just politics! *Laura*
from eowyn86 :
Thanks for commenting! It must suck to be 17 during a presidential election, but it's good that you're at least looking forward to voting. Too many teens our age don't even care about stuff like that. Well, I hope the rest of the college application process goes well for you! I hate waiting for them to respond...but I hope you get into the one you want :-) ttyl! *Laura*

You might as well apply for all the ones you are interested in. I don't know, I don't really know how it works in Australia, let alone in America. But it's good in a way that the deadline is approaching, because that means it'll be over and done with soon! Yay!
from i-c-dumppl :
I love that poem... it was strangely funny, though. Should I have laughed about the thing about "a few seconds ago I died..." (an approximate quote, sorry)? I also found out something rather interesting in Gov't class, but I'll write about it tonight in my diary, instead of wasting up Liberal note space! (Who wants to hear from a Conservative?)

Sometimes I think that teachers just give homework for the sake of it, not because we actually need it. And I read some article about psychologists saying that homework for homework's sake is bad for us! It deprives us of sleep, adds on stress, deprives us of time to do something creative, or just sit and think, or even read a book... all these things can be a lot more beneficial than homework. Stupid school!!
from goldberry91 :
Hey how are you?? Haven't written you a pointless note in a while! I just got some of my photos from my deb back, but I'm waiting for some better ones, and then I'll do some scanning (if I can work out how to use the scanner) and send a couple. Everyone at school is obsessed with comparing deb photos! Gotta go now, I have a job interview!

Hey, sorry I didn't reply earlier. Writing is an awesome outlet. And I am the biggest romantic too! It annoys me that I have no romantic stories of my own to share with my diary and all my diary-readers, but maybe I will one day.
from i-c-dumppl :
I don't think every religion has "stingma" considering that "stingma" is actually a brand of rock climbing shoes. And I'm pretty sure karma isn't used in the Bible. It's more like if you do bad stuff, you'll go downstairs where there's a lot of hot air. Karma seems a lot less durastic to me, almost kinda flaky... And, yep, the summer's been boring, but at least we had a summer. Some people don't get that much. On the other hand, some people don't even get to go to school. Actually, most people probably don't go to school. And why Orlando Bloom? Why? Why? Why?
from i-c-dumppl :
Are you serious? You're actually watching the Olympics? This is the first time I haven't cared at all for them. Even the stands in Athens are half empty, which is sad. My main problem with the summer Olympics is that there are too many games. Soccer shouldn't be included because it already has a World Cup that serves the purpose. I think the Winter Games are far more exciting, actually. Skiing, snowboarding, lubing, figure skating... so neat! There's a whole lotta money going into those games, too, and I think the revenue from spectators has gone down considerably this year. Maybe you're just a summer person! Winter and autumn are my favourite seasons, that must be it! I even love spring, but not summer. I only like vacationing in summer. Maybe that's why I don't like the summer games...

Hi! It's aud-girl, only it's not because I've moved. But I'm back! So that could be good. I LOVE your new layout. Where did you take the picture? It's beautiful... Aud :)
from i-c-dumppl :
Good for you! Sounds like oodles of fun!
from i-c-dumppl :
That was a disappointing storm. So boring. The most that happened to me was the street in front of my house flooded up to the doors of cars. And I think some sewers backed up. BO-ring.
from i-c-dumppl :
Isn't it "This is the stuff that dreams are made on"? I don't remember. But, anyway, irratic sleeping isn't healthy, especially with school time approaching. You should try to regulate your sleeping habits before school gets here, or else you'll be stuck in a rut for a week or so, falling asleep in classes. No matter how tired or bored you are, don't go to sleep until it's nighttime. It can also have a profound affect on your physical health, as well, because daytime sleeping prevents proper weight loss. Instead of sleeping, to stay awake, go swimming or something before the storms hit! Just to let you know! And when you regulate your sleep, you'll feel a lot more energetic than you do now!
from i-c-dumppl :
I never said you embarassed us, it was more like we embarrassed you. You just seemed highly uncomfortable, like you didn't want to be seen in such a situation, that's all! If you were so scared of needles, just say so, and get up and walk around or something! That's all. You didn't destroy my fun, I was just afraid that you didn't like everything we were doing, that maybe you wanted to do other things. And don't pretend that you liked Imaginique, it's okay if you didn't! I'm really glad you came, it made it a lot more fun than with my dad, and I was able to ride a ride that I wouldn't have been able to ride without him there! Thanks for coming, and I honestly mean that! And if we alienated you, we didn't mean to. We tried our best to include you, you've just got to jump in is all!
from eowyn86 :
Thanks very much for the good wishes! Yes, I'm sure voting will definitely be the best thing about turning 18. The only other cool [maybe] thing I can think of is that now I can enter sweepstakes that are only for 18 & up, but I rarely do that anyway... Oh well, thanks for the nice note :-) *Laura*
from i-c-dumppl :
I think it's more of a "Well, nothing else is going on in this sham of a town, so let's make two inches of snow look worse than it is!" I got more than two inches, though. A lot of car accidents were around my area, so I think that maybe the hype is necessary to keep people safe.
from i-c-dumppl :
Like Secret Window or Dead Zone? Those are great movies. And they're both Stephen King. But, I dunno, I don't like It. First, it's about a clown. Second, it's not really very interesting but Third it's scary because it's about a clown. So, not all of the movies based on his books are good. And not all of his books are good. Anyway... yeah.
from i-c-dumppl :
I think I mentioned the botox injections twice, actually! See, you're finally starting to see it from two sides instead of one, like all other Democrats. I'm not trying to convert you, I just want you to experience all points of the matter, because the media just won't provide it. Beyond that, I didn't get to see The Village today. I have to wait 'till tomorrow. We had to pay the attorney today, and we get paid tomorrow (on top of that, dad went out to buy new clothes 'cuz Mum had to get a new lawn mower), so tomorrow is the set day. Hey, I get to use my new points card!
from eowyn86 :
Thanks for the note! I like your new layout too - maybe it's just me, but I think there's something incredibly satisfying with making a template using your own picture(s). To answer your question, I'm pretty sure that a lot of the New England coast looks like that. At least, here in Maine, we have a lot of rocky coastline, and a lot of lighthouses, so sights like that aren't uncommon, by the shore. Well, talk to ya later! *Laura*
from i-c-dumppl :
I could see you in a library... it's nice and quiet there. You wanted to work at an animal shelter? I wouldn't work there for all the money in the world. I'd get to attatched to the little puppies and want to take them home, only to watch them be killed. *sigh*
from i-c-dumppl :
Well, good for you for not being beguiled into what you don't want. At least your interview wasn't as bad as you thought it was!
from goldberry91 :
You ARE up early. Are you like me and very bad at sleeping? Well, I really like your new layout. Maybe because I'm a bit of a tree-hugger myself and can identify with the picture. Yes, laugh all you like... just because I can relate to trees better than people...
from i-c-dumppl :
I like your drawing... we need to work on those people skills. You should never doubt yourself, you've got loads of talent, but people won't see that if you're not sure! You know it, I know it, let everybody know it! If you get it, great! If you don't, then next time will be much much better because you'll stun them all with your ability! Am I optomistic enough? Good.
from i-c-dumppl :
GOOD LUCK!
from i-c-dumppl :
Ack! You never heard? When the first Spiderman came out, the third was already in process. Yep, it's supposed to be a trilogy. I think Pirates was also made to be a trilogy... You know, when one is made, and the other two are already being written and planned in secret, just in case the others fail? I bet Shrek has a third, too.
from meganwaits :
Thanks so much for your note & adding me too. I'm glad you are out there. You were brave going on the roof. That would have made me so dizzy. Meg

Thanks very much for the congratulatory note :-) I know what you mean about huge vehicles like that! My family has a 15-passenger van, and I was so dreading that I might have to drive that thing, but now it looks like I never will, yay! Fortunately, now that gas prices are so high, I think at least a few of those SUV-drivers are finally realizing how bad SUV's are in terms of gas mileage. I wish they'd all get cars. Oh well, talk to ya later! *Laura*

I haven't left you a note for aaaaages. So. How've you been? I notice that person in the note below mentioned Ed Wood. I've got that! I love it when he does the dance and stuff. Bloody hilarious. Anyways, yeah. I should really email you sometime... *is currently feeling lazy though* it's always the way :) I'll be off now... hope you're well etc etc. *nods about the part where you lose your train of thoughts* I do it all the time. Jess xxx
from goldberry91 :
How good was Big Fish! I loved it. My favourite parts were 1. When he emerges from the haunted wood and discovers the picture-perfect town of Spectre and 2. When they are having that dance at Spectre. I really want to see Ed Wood now because it was made by Tim Burton and has Johnny Depp in it! Hooray! (Just like that Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory movie coming out soon... that'll be so cool)

I think I will have to have some sort of garage sale- I'm not selling my CDs and CD player to the place I was going to! Apparently most CDs, even in good condition, were worth about 50 cents, and a CD currently in the top 40 might be worth 1 or 2 (australian) dollars! Bah. And perhaps I can sell my old bike. It's too small for me now. Hmmm. Good to talk to you again Kelly!!

I READ! But I know what you're saying. Some people claim to read mine but are obviously uninformed of my day-to-day life. So I've sorta given up on others, keeping the diary for my own purposes (world domination!). And I've thrown the topics to the birds, as you can plainly tell from my latest entry. Guffaw, guffaw... prick... haha. Anyway, the new Harry Potter book is titled "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince". The "Half-Blood Prince" is neither Harry nor Voldemort, so it's some "mudblood" that I can't think of. Will it be a new character? Maybe! Maybe... maybe Dumbledore is half wizard, and he's really a prince! Hey! Hagrid is half-wizard, maybe it's him! Maybe it's a lesbian/cross-dressing Hermione, she's a mix! Oh, oh, oh! I know, I know! It's really... I have no idea. This is a long note, innit? Well, keep safe from those ubiquitous monkeys of yours, eh? They can be fell beasts, they can.
from i-c-dumppl :
I think it's time to have an intervention. You're addicted to albinoblacksheep. Addicted. The first step to kicking the craving is to admit your problem. You're an ADDICT. Get off of your computer... good... and do SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE! Good.
from i-c-dumppl :
Well, I dunno, it's not so bad so far. I'm sure you've read a lot more than I have so far, though. But I really hated that D'Urberville guy, I saw what he did to her a mile away. Then a few chapters afterwards got really BORING. It's falling into the Hardy curse: bad stuff happens, it gets boringly reflective, then more bad stuff happens, to really no point but more boring reflection.

Awww, mum's are all annoying- not just yours :) You should read To kill a mockingbird (unless you already have)- it's such a good book. i've read it like... three times, and i got it in january i think

Like I said, when you know who you are, you won't feel so threatened when others attack you. Just right now you haven't found yourself, and you see the truth in the attacks. It's okay not to know yourself yet, you've got time, but soon you'll have to know your limitations and beliefs before the "real world" or your life will collapse like a cardboard box from an onslaught of accusing rain... hey, that was a good simile...
from i-c-dumppl :
Did you hear? I went vegetarian, and I don't drink as much caffiene any more. I used to think getting so tired was part of being a teen, but no! It was my diet! So, I'm vegetarian now. Except for three or four nights a week, in which I eat meat as a dinner entree because I need protein. I can't be veggen, we don't get enough different kinds of veggies 'round here, so I drink milk and eat eggs. It's really not vegetarianism, it's basically better balancing everything I eat, so I'm not eating all meat all day. Otherwise I'd never get in my allotted veggies. And I haven't had caffiene in, uhh, two days. And I'm still awake! You should try it!

Eeh-he-he... yeah, jess=very short attention span, and selective memory also! I have no idea why I wrote that I know Italien. You spoke in Spanish! That I can sort of do! I can also speak Korean, some Japanese, some Chinese, some German and quite a bit of French. Aint I clever! Did you see my Johnny Depp layout then? It wouldn't work for everyone :(
from under-shadow :
GAH! You speak Spanish. I speak two words of Italien... chow bambino. I love saying that. I only know it from an ice-cream advert ;) Yay, you've finished school! Me too. Now I'll be going to sixth form. Which I think I explained to you... Yeah. Oh, did you see those photos of me? I'm putting up some more in a few minutes. Have a good... summer holiday??? It's winter in Austrailia, so I dunno what season it is in America. Autumn? Spring? Meh :D

Meh. Stupid Frodo person. I am so not Frodo. For a start, I am NOT sadistic!!! SADISTIC! You get lovely LOVELY Faramir, who may be a bit of a hoarder, I get the weird-eyed and dodgy accented Frodo who is prone to be SADISTIC. I am very unhappy with the result. So let's just pretend I got Sam instead.
from i-c-dumppl :
Heeey! I never saw that new description of me! One day everyone WILL work for me! *snaps fingers* Hot dog! Anyway, I got Frodo. I always get Frodo. I'm "trusting" and I "see the good in everyone". I couldn't get something new, I always get the same character. Not that I'm complaining. Your new name is Faramir. My brother's new name is Soupy. He reminds me of Macaulay Culkin. Really, I don't know why, but he does. That's why he's now named Soupy! Bye, Faramir (coughcoughFaramir'salosercoughcough)!
from i-c-dumppl :

from eowyn86 :
Aww, thanks for the good wishes! Yes, I'm feeling much better, but it was certainly one of the strangest days I've ever had. I hope I never get pricked with a needle again, but something tells me it's inevitable. Oh well. Have a good day! *Laura*

I was nervous when I took mine too (especially considering it was only the second time I'd even been in a school classroom before, being a homeschooler), but the relief I felt when it was all over was much greater than my nervousness, thankfully. Good luck tomorrow! *Eowyn*

This is the second time I'm writing this note, thanks a lot computer! I voted in two catagories- best movie (a no-brainer, even though pirates and finding nemo were up for it) and best male actor. In the latter I was undecided between the lead actors of the two potc's (pirates of the caribbean and passion of the christ) but I eventually chose Johnny. I replied to one of your forum posts on CoE- have you found it? I don't pay many visits to that site because it takes a lifetime to load on my computer. But anyway. I love your two new layouts. Now I must be off for dinner, hooray for food!

I don't think my description of my weekend was overly "fun." Or maybe you missed the part where it was disastorously sad, the parts that made me cry to write. You know, the parts about diabetes. The activities were "fun," but I really think the weekend, and the point of it, was depressing. And while I was typing it my brother hit a low spell so bad that when I screamed his name, he slid off the couch and his head lolled from side to side and he muttered a stream of unintelligible consciousness. See what I mean? My little brother could have died on that couch while I sat in here and typed. I don't think anyone understands, and that was the point of the whole entry. Can't wait for King of the Hill.
from i-c-dumppl :
I'm gonna start calling you Ned Kelly. Or Neddy. Can I? It's a cool nickname. If my name were Kelly, I'd make people call me that. Plus, Heath Ledger played 'im. I wish I had a cool nickname. But I'm JUST Amanda. Get it? Haha!
from i-c-dumppl :
No problem! That's what friends are for! Telling you that you're a spineless coward with no reason to be! We need to instill confidence in you! Go, Kelly, go!
from eowyn86 :
Hey there, thanx for the note :-) Glad you liked the quiz. I totally know what you mean about writing. I want to be a writer too, but I always think I'm not good. But I suppose most writers don't think they're really good either. It's better than being all stuck up about yourself, at least. But I usually try not to feel bad about the stuff I write, because I just tell myself that I'm young and as long as I keep practicing, I'll get better. I guess sometimes I just expect too much from myself, and I'm sure many others are like that too. Well, sorry to ramble, take care! *Eowyn*
from i-c-dumppl :
Okay, I'm ranting. Don't you dare give up writing because YOU think you're no good. I'm sure that if you turned your self-doubt to self-confidence, it would show in your writing, no lie. Right now I can see in your writing a control that a lot of people don't have, but you don't know how to use it yet. You think that words should come easily, but you see they don't for you. They don't come easily for me, either. Acting doesn't come easily to me, but it's what I like, and (when it comes down to it), it's what I'm best at. What you have to do is work harder in English than anything you've ever worked hard for, because it's what you like to do. And you need to get (don't take this too personally, I'm seriously trying to help you), you need to get a spine. Don't ask if you can do things all the time. Just do them. Know your strengths! And one of your strengths is writing, trust me. When you write your diary, the only struggle is what to title it, right? Well, that's how you should treat your essays, you have to let your personality shine through every word, make every word mean something to you and then it will mean something to everyone else (that's what you do in your diary, and see the response?). Don't. Be. Afraid. To. Be. Kelly. Got it? Okay. Don't make me hit you, seriously!
from uniquedesign :

It can't be just you, because I've been having problems sleeping for the past two nights, too. There must be some underlying factor fed by the anxiety a high-intensity social situation (e.g. highschool) after that week of incredible quiet rest. Or just SATs and AP tests. As Freud would say... okay, stop there!

I think I understand how you were feeling yesterday. I sometimes get this feeling that nothing is right, but because I can't justify why I am feeling like this then my problem... almost can't be classified as a problem, and that just makes things worse. I dunno. Something like that. I guess I just need to be able to put things into words. But maybe that's slightly similar to how you were feeling, I'm not sure. But anyway, that's great you had a good time at the party. And I'm not going to be able to use your ROTK advice for a while because my game is on my grandma's computer!
from iamchristian :
So, to kill the seige towers do you use that catapult thing on the roof? Trouble is, I can never seem to find it in time because there are so many stairs to run up, and I get lost! (And yes, we get two weeks, but we get shorter Summer holz. Hooray for Easter!)
from eowyn86 :

Kelly! How on earth do you get anywhere in the Gandalf Minas Tirith level? I know how to kick down the ladders and whatnot, but orcs still take over the place.
from eowyn86 :
Ooh, I know what you mean about chemistry. I took it last year and I hated it!! To me, it made no sense studying something that's so small you can't even SEE it happening! The only good it did me was it allowed me to take a human anatomy course this year, which has been a lot of fun. But yes, creative writing is definitely better. I'm planning to stay away from math & chemistry in college too. Well, toodles! *Eowyn*
from iamchristian :
Like you wouldn't believe! I'll probably get over it, well I hope I will. Definitely we should exchange emails... I'd give you mine now but I've kinda had a recent bout of paranoia. I really suck at ROTK, the only level I can pass is the first one with Gandalf at Helm's Deep, but I'll use the holidays to work on it!

Yeah, I think it's completely about the enjoyment you get out of it. I hear all the time that pianists have to have perfect fingers, and it used to really get me down (and it still exasporates me) that my fingers are real far from perfect, but somewhere along the way I learnt that I had to face the fact that I could never be a concert pianist (not that I'm up to that standard, whatever the condition of my fingers), but that didn't mean I couldn't still enjoy my playing and use it elsewhere. Music is awesome!!
from iamchristian :
Thank you! I think I'll need all the luck I can get. So what kind of music do you play on guitar? I have been forced to do music theory and it's soooo boring, and takes up so much time. *Glares at stupid purple theory book* Homework-wise it's the equivelent of about 2 subjects. But I'll stop whinging now and go and eat Subway!

Goodness, you don't need to be a loser to cry at Edward Scissorhands!! I loved that movie!!
from i-c-dumppl :
I am slowing taking over. It was bound to happen someday, huh? I started a fad with those diaries. One that cannot be stopped until it consumes humanity... but no one's supposed to know. Keep it on the down-low, Sparky. AND I'M NOT TOO LAZY TO CAPITALIZE! HOORAY FOR THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE!
from iamchristian :
Lol, yeah I'm feeling a lot better. I hate stress! I hate the fact that there are so many things I'd like to do but I can't because of school. I used to really miss being a child, and I still do miss being very little, but I don't really miss being a "kid" because it was such an awkward stage for me, I didn't fully understand what was going on around me and though I still don't, being a teenager (I reckon) is more fun. :)
from under-shadow :
i loooove your new template! sorry for not replying- my home computer wont let me on diaryland now, although i can read people's entries at least. i'll email you soon- i've been so busy recently- muchos coursework. ttfn, ~Jess x
from laurelote :
Hi, thanks for joining my 'From Hell' diaryring. ^_^
from iamchristian :
Yet even if your school IS like the school from the faculty, and aliens are taking over, you probably don't have a gorgeous nerd there to save the day (then maybe you do!). Speaking of gorgeous- your-layout! It's so hot!! Mmm. I'm really looking forward to Eternal Sunshine too. Love Sarah
from i-c-dumppl :
I can wait until tuesday. Thanks anyway!
from iamchristian :
Maybe evil aliens ARE taking over your school, like in the Faculty. Good luck with the workload!
from iamchristian :
Thanks a ton for the pic! He looked so cool! And yeah, I know what you mean about English papers... they're not too bad... if we're writing about something interesting I almost... enjoy them. I always sneak on the computer in the morning. I'm a diaryland addict! Have to go to dinner now. Love Sarah
from iamchristian :
Oh and, I hope you did well on your chem test! I know that H2O is water and HCl4 or something is hydrocloric acid!
from iamchristian :
No I didn't watch it, because Australia never broadcasts any of those awards shows!! :( Unless you pay, that is. I heard about Billy in his kilt... oh that's so cool... wish I'd seen it! Maybe I'll find pics off the net or something. What was I going to say... oh yeah, can you tape the oscars and send it to me? lol, oops, just realized what a dork i am. :)chemistry eh? is that hard? best be off to rewrite an english essay... love Sarah xoxo
from under-shadow :
heh, elijah used to host saturday night live? i didn't know that. actually, i shouldn't as i'm english and we don't get that stuff on tv unless we pay. my parents are stingy buggers, so no snl for me :o( oh yeah- go to my profile and click on elijah1981's diary. she has THE BEST template ever! it makes me snigger widely whenever i see it. well, ttfn! ~Jess x
from iamchristian :
I think I beat "Kirby's dreamland" on game boy once, years ago. And have I ever told you that we share the same fave actors? Yaaaay about the Screen Actors Guild awards!
from i-c-dumppl :
Thank you. Qu'ils mangent le gteau!!!
from iamchristian :
Okay. You've inspired me. I'm going to go out and get one of those stupid graphics cards (or get one for my b'day... not long now) or whatever and get that damn on my computer. Damn it doesn't help I know nothing about computers! ~Sarah~
from iamchristian :
*Shakes head at Kelly's self derogatory statement* rambling never bores me, rambling is fun!! Yet you make good points in your so called rambling... who DOES think of the ideas for half the pay TV channels? Like the gardening channel or whatever! Oh and guess what, my computer is too crap for ROTK to work on it :( But I'm going to invade my bro's room from time to time. Better go study for an up and coming maths test :( :( Love Sarah
from i-c-dumppl :
I'm going to be honest with you. I hate this place, this zoo, this prison, this reality, whatever you want to call it. I can't stand it any longer. It's the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink. And every time I do I feel I have somehow been infected by it. It's repulsive, isn't it? I must get out of here. I must get free. So don't play the Agent Smith quote game with me. AGENT SMITH IS THE "man"! RAWK AND ROLL!!!
from iamchristian :
hehehe four kinds of frodo!! i just did that thing where i laughed aloud at the computer screen and my dad walked past and laughed at me. lol. That's like me too... i sit here alone in my world full of movies and books and music and this diary... lol. what a life! I like it. i don't follow rugby that closely because I don't even know the difference between union and league, lol. In the Australian league i think i go for Newcastle, for some reason, because Newcastle is in a different state to where i live. for the world cup i went for australia, i guess, but i wasn't as into it as my friends. I'm a bit rugby illiterate. I used to like cricket, but then my brother watched it soooooooooooooo much that i got sick of it. I didn't know you really had any cricket in America. Shows how much i know! And NEVER apologize for rambling... just look at my effort!!
from iamchristian :
So do you get lotr action figures from a collectibles place, or are they ones from a toy shop? ooh, this sounds exciting!! lol! yep, you gotta admit a role playing diary sounds pretty mad... and so many tolkien characters to choose from! oh and i haven't started ROTK yet because I'm currently not on good terms with my brother. lol. best be off now! Love Sarah
from iamchristian :
Lol! I like have this loser scrapbook, full of everything i can find on stuff I like like Elijah ;). Action figures... that's so cool! do you have lotr ones?
from iamchristian :
Awesometastic. I'll go nick the CD off my bro now! Expect more notes asking for advice ;)
from i-c-dumppl :
Little people? You're Kelly, with a heart as big as all get-out! You'll win something for best screenwriting. You write 'em, I'll act 'em. Apparently my brother wants to direct 'em. No biggie on the paper, I was really only looking for a subject to rant about. There was one paper I read that was deplorable. And I meant to give it a 1, but I felt really bad about it. It got a 3. Toodles!
from iamchristian :
Is that game good (ROTK)? My bro has it and I'm considering playing it, though I'm not a huge computer game person.
from i-c-dumppl :
I beat that game. ;) ...'course, my brother had to help me a bit... Happy President's Day! Hopefully the next President isn't a democrat. REPUBLICANS RULE! DOWN WITH KERRY! UP WITH BUSH!
from thegaladriel :
The desktop on my computer currently depicts my favourite new brakeout star, Carson Kressley of Queer Eye. Maybe he would turn straight for an Elven Queen. Two Queens might make a king, which is more than that bum ex-husband of mine could say for himself.... Celeborn....
from this-emotion :
my background is the a pic i saved from austincam.org [austin;s webcam site] of him being retarded. IM me one day [lovesonglullaby] and i;ll send it to you through direct connect. it;s quite hilarious. i love it. <33 [p.s. i love you too. happy valentine;s day.]
from i-c-dumppl :
How is it that you got your keepers to work, and mine don't? Curses. You always win! First Mount Everest and now this. But I'll always have Craig Parker under my belt. No, wait, that didn't sound right... You know what I mean.
from iamchristian :
Well, it's SUPPOSED to be Summer... doesn't seem like it though... cloudy skies, cold wind, rain... :( hopefully we'll get some more warm days soon. thanks for linking :) love sarah xoxo
from under-shadow :
i don't think i actually said good luck on your exams, and it's probably too late now, but good luck! yeah, it would be cool to email you, and when you said address, did you mean email address or home address. either would be cool, as i tend to write quite a lot (i get carried away sometimes), so you can email me your home address if you wanna give it, to [email protected] hope you do well kelly, ~Jess x
from iamchristian :
That's so good your exams are nearly over! My first day of school was two days ago and in 5th period that day my English teacher told us we had an assignment due in 7 days, that was compulsary and we'd fail the subject if we didn't get a good grade for it. Woohoo! :( Better go, I'm going shopping with mum for beds... lol... love sarah.
from iamchristian :
hehe, I sure am a lotr fan! I play the piano and the harp at the moment. My dad plays guitar and I'm hoping one day he'll teach me. And thank you for your comment about my layout!! :) I love yours also! Man you seem busy at the moment... hope all your exams go well. Love Sarah
from under-shadow :
british schools work in weird ways... i should know, i've been to about six different ones! at this school though we have five lessons... actually, i think i'll explain it in an entry- it could take a while :o) ~Jess x
from i-c-dumppl :
Ooh, Matrix? Can I be Neo, and save the last group of surviving humans in Zion? You can be the Key Maker. Hardy har har! It is a creepy, creepy thought tho, considering how lost I'd be without my computer. Yeesh... toodles!
from laurelote :
Ahoy, matey! Thanks for joining my (Captain!) Jack Sparrow and Will Turner diaryrings. ^_^
from liv76 :
hya! Thanx for the note. I lurve your template (and your diary... latin! that would be so cool). Quite distracting.
from half-hearted :
mmm. hey girl. i;ve moved from here to this-emotion.dland.com. in case you wanted to know. <3chrissie
from i-c-dumppl :
HAPPY FRIDAY! And niiiiice layout. And I'm at the top of the list! YEESSS! *poke* No more need for shiny things, eh? Well, good stuff, good stuff! I challenge ye to a duel of hot dude layouts. Tomorrow is the day: playground, swingset, 2 pm. Be there or be... an odd geometric shape.
from under-shadow :
yaaay! i like your new template! and yaaay! you mentioned me! heh, it is ascary that almost everything in your obsession list is what would be in my obsession list! cool cool :o) jess x glad you're feeling happier matoy
from under-shadow :
i'm sure i left that note aaages ago... meh. i'm still guessing you're american (i can't remember much...) so how come you get monty python? it's a british comedy sketch thing turned into films! since when did it go worldwide? *shrugs* i love the quest for the holy grail film. the whole thing about the "shrubberry!" and the random police officers *sniggers*, and the three-headed knight, and the man-eating bunny- that was the best :o) oh yeah, how come there's a bbc america?! i was positive it was an only-british thing! blimey we're going places these days! and dead ringers!? have you seen the oxxy osbourne sketch? he is SO convincing! anyway, enough about british television, hello, and goodbye my young cherry pie :o) jess x
from under-shadow :
it's so weird. loads of my favourite diary people are A LOT like me. like you for example. you want to be a journalist. me too! preferably a film journalist, reporting in newspapers and on tele, but yup, journalismness. over the pond in england we don't have to take english at university to do journalism. you can just take a journalism course and a specialist subject- i would more than likely take film, as i wanna be a film journalist. english isn't necessary apparently. well, enough of my carrer talks, see ya! ~jess x p.s like my johnny template? :o)
from under-shadow :
heh, *looks down at older notes* "your layout's changed!". it's even better than the last one! well, happy new year my little camper ("i'm a happy camper..."). eh..? well... :) jess x
from half-hearted :
so, um. i <3 the layout. i used to have it. YESS. anycrap. happy new year. see you on monday.
from i-c-dumppl :
Thank you for the nice note! Happy New Year!
from half-hearted :

from avidpanther :
Like your layout anyways Do you think Lestates hott? I do dreamy!!!
from i-c-dumppl :
I know I just left a note, but I wanted to tell you that Jay Leno scares me too. He needs a floggin' funhouse mirror to shave! But I await Orli's interview with nearly as much as I did Elijah Wood's interview! Obsessive? Yes. Weird? Oddly, no. Gotta run!
from i-c-dumppl :
Thanks for the note! I love your new layout! It's purdy! Heaven's knows I love a stage. Life's a stage, and it's people are merely actors. I read that someplace. Someplace like the Tempest. It's not an exact quote, either. I may be wrong. Anyways, yes, happy almost-Return-of-the-King day. Call ya in a few minutes and see ya tomorrow!
from under-shadow :
your diary's changed! i saw that template on... lucky designs? hmmm... still pondering about cheese? :o) do you have msn? note me back- i'm so bloody bored and it;s 2:12 in the morning (uk) jess x
from xdullstarx :
Him as the world war flying ace was cool ^_^ But I prefer his and woodstocks ice hockey games :) -Claire-
from xdullstarx :
Wow! You sound cool. Is your screen name from the peanuts cartoon or summat? ::Is huge fan of Snoopy::
from under-shadow :
ah, cheese is cheese. you just have to learn to accept it... heh, if you ever come to cambridge (england), i'll show you around our cheese company place-that'll answer your questions :) i knew a dog that was afraid of its tail- everytime he saw it he'd jump and bark at it then run around in circles looking insane. it was amusing. you forgot to mention "loves johnny depp as well" on your description of me :) jess x
from under-shadow :
yug, i be British! by the way; why don't you write why you like the stuff in your profile? it makes you seem lazy! *coughs* i'm not lazy if you see my diary!... heh heh *shifts eyes* i'm definitely not lazy... anyway, i'm-a guessing you're not British then?..
from i-c-dumppl :
Weee! I'm leaving a note! Hooray! See? I told you I would leave you a note! Fun! :)
from under-shadow :
hey, i'm guessing you're a possible orli bloom fan... or johnny depp fan... or well, just a fan maybe?! i just thought i'd leave you a note to say... hello and you obviously have good taste (like me!) and er... goodbye!
from i-c-dumppl :
