i get like that in social situations, too. nervous and full of anxiety. everyone shows their personality in different ways, and the fact that the people who are close to you know that you talk incessantly speaks volumes about who you really are when someone takes the time to get to know you.

STAY OUT OF WORK. OK... so I just yelled at you and you don't even know me... but as one working (and pregnant) mom to one h1n1 carrier, I beg you to stay home. Yes, you might *feel* fine, but the rest of us would really prefer to not be exposed to your germs. Please don't share them. Even if you sanitize, you can't stop breathing -- and the airborne nature of this particular virus is what makes it so crazy-contagious. Lots of people do fine with it and it's just a bad flu and annoyance... but there are sensitive populations that can be severely affected and you should be doing everything possible to keep from spreading this to ANYONE else, because even if you don't work with someone who could be highly endangered, the person you work with may live, visit or work with someone who is, etc., etc., etc. It won't take long to completely mend -- please stay home and get healthy before socializing with anyone else. Please?

hi love, sorry i haven't written back, but just know i'm grateful to have you in my life. i hope you do well (or did well) on your finals, and that you have a great winter break. i also kind of wanted to touch upon the issue with your mom, but can't really seem to formulate what i want to say gently. so, essentially - i think that, despite the fact that your mom didn't need the money, i think she probably feels more betrayed more than anything, and all that rage and anger is really just a lot of hurt and disappointment. i'm not trying to sound harsh, but if they're paying for your college stuff, then consider yourself blessed, you know? because not many people have that option. i think once you guys patch it up (and surely it will when winter break comes along?), then things might come to light, both about where you were coming from and where she was. i hope that made sense... love, l.bug
