Hey...just happened to drop by here and noticed you updated. Except you're all locked up. ;) Might I please have the PW e-mailed? And if you need mine again (it hasn't changed), you can have that too (though I prolly won't ever update here again; it's just for old time's sake et al).
from joy-in-god :
Theresa I've moved to http://joy-in-god.diaryland.com to share about God's work in my life! I'm in a transition period of my life (I'll email you more) pray for me! @--J---
from argentum :
So...what's wrong with that phone message? *shrugs*
from fan4 :
Thanks for the note. :)
from fan4 :
*waits for freetime to be available, so I can read the diaries of my friends again*
from lindzeeleigh :
I am glad you like the Snow Patrol quote on my diary! I just changed it awhile ago, it used to be a Chantal Kreviazuk song quote. I switched it to Snow Patrol because that is what was on our wedding invites and we played that song in our slideshow as well. It came out the year we got engaged, so that would be the same year DJ was born! :)
from fan4 :
hi
from jay-oh-why :
Hey Theresa, that was a really lovely poem you quoted in your latest entry! What did your husband think of that poem? I have been checking out ebay stores & yes, it's really handy! Thanks for your advice on shopping online! The downside is that I had been trying to look for nice wool coats/jackets but the available ones are generally from Australia cuz the winter season in the Northern hemisphere is over! @--J--- 2008.05.11
from jay-oh-why :
Hey Theresa, thanks for the diaryland note! I'll make it a point to add as many pictures of New South Wales as I can! @--J---
from lindzeeleigh :
Thanks for leaving me a note and commenting on some of my previous entries. :) I did go back and read your comments, I made sure to because you put in the time to write them. Glad things are going well with you and the ipod sounds great! Have a great Sunday evening. :)
from lindzeeleigh :
Hey!! How are you? it has ben so long sicne you last updated and I was wondering how you are and how DJ is! I hope everything is going well, just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you!
from jay-oh-why :
Hey there! It's me, Joy (superluckie)! I've moved to jay-oh-why.diaryland.com so feel free to drop by! It's been a long time since I said hi so just to update, I'm back in Sydney, moved to a new place, in my final year of uni & can't wait to autumn when it's cooler! How've you been? @--J--- 6 Mar 08
from lindzeeleigh :
I really liked the book Wicked. It was very different, but I liked the twists in the story and how he changed things to come up with "the true story". I thought his character development was good as well. I thought it was going to be a kind of lighthearted, humourous book, but it was deep and kind of ominous. I would definitely say check it out. I can see why some people would say it is hit or miss, but I liked it. Oh, and if I do join, I will definitely mention you. :)
from superluckie :
Merry Christmas & a happy new year! Your son looks very handsome! @--J---
from argentum :
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
from h2ophobic :
Good luck to your friend and her baby! I think about you alot lately. I used to only wear the necklace you gave me during the summer, but put together a winter outfit that shows it off this year. I can't tell you how many compliments I get. I always tell people that I got it from a friend who bought it on her honeymoon.
from superluckie :
Thanks!! I'd probably post them something light, useful, & non-language-based because they speak Korean! I'm thinking of buying a bib & cross stitching something on it! I appreciate your suggestions! @--J---
from superluckie :
I'd appreciate it greatly if you could suggest a suitable present to be posted to them. Something which can be used for a long time, & not just one of those items a baby will grow out of. I thought of a photo frame, but any other suggestions? @--J---
from superluckie :
My good friends have just had a baby boy!! I'm very happy for them because they're very close friends (I look up to them as if they were my older siblings) & they'd been trying to have a child for a few years! Isn't he adorable!! http://superluckie.diaryland.com/071121_63.html @--J---
from superluckie :
Thanks for the helpful info! I appreciate it! Na your message wasn't late cuz I'm feeling quite broke! As you can read from one of my latest entries, I smashed a car so.. I'm in debt (gulp)! But I certainly hope to do some shopping next month cuz I'll be getting a job soon! Hope to hear how you're doing every now & then.. keep in touch! @--J---
from anita-girl :
hey! I wasn't sure if your comments was workign properly as it was Vday related. it's nice to see oyu update! Be careful not to sell all of DJ's baby stuff that if you have another child you will have to buy again! I also just read the friend thing. This is a really good thing to live by: You are who your friends are. It means that other people judge you on your friends and I find that we get so influenced by your friends. What he is doing is really bad, it's immature and using someone. It's one thing if he listened to you and said I see your point it's bad that I do this. But he doesn't want to change, he doens't want to know he is in the wrong. Maybe he doesn't need to be such a good friend. And when people don't back you up it's like what am I worth to you? When the whole T&T thing happened I really saw some of my friends stand up for me and react and it was so refreshing. Just today I discussed with a friend how they aren't such good friends with someone because when she was in the hospital for a month than her son was in the hospital for 16 weeks she didn't visit! It's a crazy example but it's a good one.

I totally got my first speeding ticket in 20 years last summer on my way from San Francisco to Oregon. the police officer was nice though.
from orsimblossim :
Thanks for the words of encouragement. :) Are you on SparkPeople? I'm on there under my regular e-mail address. I love it so far - it helps you track your food and exercise day-by-day and stay on track.
from emaciana :
thanks for your note. so when your son gave up breastfeeding did you go to formula or just regular milk? how did you feel about it? i know he might self weaan but 6 mo seems like a bit early to me... i dunno.
from mpeacock :
It's good to see the pictures and catch up!

It sounded as if you enjoyed your concert. Concerts aren't ideal places for me, due to the noise level.
from superluckie :

from brightopal :
I don't blame you for being less than thrilled with your aunt's behavior. If she legitimately has a disorder, it wouldn't favor one family member over another. :(
from lindzeeleigh :
Hey Theresa! Thanks for the nice note about my dress at the shower and for the positive comment about the song we are thinking of using for our first dance song. I like that it is unconventional too. :P I dont know what to say about Dave's grandma. I have a hard time understanding things like that as well, so I know where you are coming from. I am glad she at least made it to your palce, even if she had to be bribed with another grandchild?! That seems a bit crazy to me. LoL. Try not to let it get to you...I know that is easier said than done because I am the same way!
from femme-inine :
Hi, T. I googled "nimiiwin" and found a note you wrote to me more than a year ago. I kind of disappeared and have resurfaced with this new ID. Email me if you want to know what happened ... you asked me in your blog but I didn't see it last year.
from brightopal :
Gah! I can't get to ANYONE's comments today. You should be happy about all you've accomplished and you're right - being a mom is a tough job. *Hugs*
from orsimblossim :
Yeah, I know we're doing the right thing, and he's definitely in no rush ;), but man...sometimes I feel like if I keep waiting I'm gonna have no eggs left! lol...and yes, they are one and the same person. (sigh)
from ameliorating :
Ohh, you have to read the Stephanie Plum series by her, its absolutely hilarious!! All of Janet Evanovich's books are great though. She is definitely one of my favorites! I'll have to check Luanne Rice and Anita Shreve out, which ones have been your favorites? I feel like a 100 lb. weight has been lifted from my shoulders, its been great to be able to just hang out with old friends, talk, laugh, and really enjoy myself. I didn't realize just how much drama she created (and stress as well!). Hope you had a great weekend!! *hugs* Jen
from anita-girl :
Thanks for the notes. She still has yet so call so I wonder what will happen, seems werid that they would write a letter than not want to talk. I am at peace now and it doens't bother me that much anymore. AS for leaving DJ alone, that's really good that he is good for an hour. When you leave him alone is it usually an hour or less and than every os often more? Maybe next time try an hour and a half and shoot for more slowly. It isn't bad at all to leave him alone for 2 to 3 hours every so often. You just need to be consitent. I fin that Ariel will be all fine with us leaving her than a bit of time goes by and we don't, that when we do again she gets all upset. In the winter every monday evening for 8 week we left her with Chad's sister and her family when we took a course, she had never been alone with them before, she cried everytime we left until the 5th week, and than didn't want to leave! She now just adores her auntie! Every child is different and it just takes time to figure out what works best!
from brightopal :
Haloscan isn't cooperating for me so I'll leave you a note here. I'm with everyone else, though. Perfection is, at best, a self-delusion. It doesn't exist and never will. Do your best, and allow that being a mom entails finding a balance between your son and your needs.
from superluckie :
I can relate very much to your entry dated 14 Apr 07. Sometimes I wish I could wind back time to the days where I was more ignorant & the things that mattered to me were so trivial. But then again, we've got a long way to go in life - what an adventure! 16 Apr 07
from wheeless :
Those are some of the funniest pictures I've ever taken of my kids... it was like trying to herd cats, attmepting to get the three of them looking at the camera and looking happy at the same time. Ben likes being swaddled, and I don't think he was really thrilled about Isabella trying to get him and trying to tip over his Boppy... lol. And oh how I LOVE having a boy! It already doesn't seem strnage at all. :)
from superluckie :
Awww.. DJ is truly a very adorable baby boy. Thanks for regularly including those photos! @--}--- 26 March 2007

Hey! Thanks for the sweet comment. I can make invitations by September I bet I can come up with lots of ideas. Let me know if you would like me to do that for you. I already have some ideas.
from superluckie :
Thanks for praying for me! Like I quoted in Lindsey's notes once, prayer is about worship, petitions, concerns, thanksgiving & requests! So far I'm settling down quite nicely & I'll shop around for a firmer bed soon cuz the present room's bed is too soft! DJ's turning 6 months old soon! How time flies! Blessings, @--}--- 9 Mar 2007

I've just included two new entries! Enjoy the pictures! Have you ever been to the Niagara Falls before? It's lovely! @--}---
from superluckie :
Youre from Detroit?! What a coincidence! I guess the weather is similar to Torontos then. The residential districts looked really lovely from the window view! I even bought a cap from the airport with Detroit! I so wanted to step out of the airport because Ive never been to the Eastern side of USA. Do the people there have a different accent as compared to those from the Western side of USA? @--}---
from superluckie :
Dear Theresa, how have you been? A very blessed new year to you & your family! I just returned from my Ontario-Quebec trip & I just saw your entry dated 28 Dec 2006 & checked out your latest snapshots! Youve got a beautiful baby & a wonderful husband Im so happy for you! Did you get much snow? There wasnt as much snow in Toronto as compared to 3 years ago which made me really sad! Now Im gonna do my part to help the environment! Hope to hear from you soon! @--}---

Thanks for praying for me. I'm not stressed, but I'm really tired of studying so hard. I hope I don't get a mental block in the morning (my last exam). Actually, Aussies don't traditionally celebrate Thanksgiving! I've only celebrated it once - in Oct 2003, when I was studying in Canada. Americans celebrate it in Nov eh? I've been keeping you in prayer too. @--}---
from emaciana :
oh no, reading entries like that makes me worry about how i'm going to handle having a baby. but i'd rather know the truth and be forewarned! i hope things get better for you.
from h2ophobic :
Bless your heart! I feel so badly for you and little DJ. It IS hard to have a little crying baby and not know what to do. I'm sure someone has already suggested this, but I'll throw in my 2 cents worth just in case. My first baby cried and cried and cried. He cried until I thought I'd lose my mind. Finally his pediatrician suggested that perhaps my breast milk didn't agree with him. We tried giving him formula instead and the crying stopped. THAT fast. I was heartbroken not to breastfeed, but oh man...was it wonderful not to hear him cry all the time. Hang in there mom...I wish I was close enough to visit. I'd love to take little DJ for a walk so you could have a few minutes to yourself!
from ashnwesten :
It will get so much better- I promise you. You'll look back & not even remember this stuff pretty soon. Do you swaddle him? Whenever Westen was like that, I would wrap him really tightly and hold him so his face was almost against me (towards me) and give him his binky. That ALWAYS worked. Just holding him tightly & jiggling him a little-- and his face always had to be like that. But he's always liked blankies & things up by his face too, just like his momma.. so I don't know if it would work for everyone! I remember some of those awful nights, where we tried everything, though. (And you're right-- the drops don't work at all) I just promise that it WILL get better SO soon. You really have no idea!
from jess1976 :
DJ is getting so big. What a cutie pie!
from cassiopeia- :
What a beautiful boy bumble bee! xoxox
from bitterwineuk :
You have no comments up missy. This is what I referred to as my 6 week breakdown. It was about that. I had that then Matthew was rushed to hospital days later. It will get easier trust me. As soon as they sleep all night it does ease up a little. (I am guessing DJ is about 6/7 weeks old now???? It's the catchup time) Take care and get as much rest as possible. Becca

Happy Late Birthday! My sister and I want to send you something for the babe, can you email me your address? If you're leery about that, no problem. Happy Birthday!
from emaciana :
happy belated birthday! i know it's annoying but in a way, how your mom is acting around her grandchild is kind of cute. she's probably just so overwhelmed with joy that it's getting the better of her. well, as annoying as it is, it's better than her ignoring him, eh? i'm sure she'll calm down with time.
from elliemay23 :
First of all..happy birthday. Second, i'm sorry he's fussy a lot. next time you think he's got a tummy ache, put a towel in the dryer for a few minutes and then put it on your legs and him on your legs on his tummy. that helps sometimes. don't you just love unsolicited advice? take care. xoxo, Ellie

from emaciana :
i'm so excited for you!!! just a few more days to go! you must be thrilled and also scared, i would be. no idea what to expect with labor. you've got to write all about it after!
from mpeacock :
YOu're not even close to being as HUGE as I was, but I lost all 26 lbs with the birth and walked out of the hospital in pe-pregnancy jeans. REALLY, REALLY, really my c-section was a piece of cake, and the recovery too. I hope you have it as easy.
from lindzeeleigh :
You haven't updated in three days - I can't help but wonder, are you having the baby??!?!
from orsimblossim :
Awww, thanks for the well wishes! :D
from bookafly :
Hi starlight - I've been reading you for a couple months and just want to say that I love how you really speak your mind and tell it how it is! I came across this and thought it would make you smile http://rpwolfe.tripod.com/id21.html Sincerely, Fly
from janie12975 :
I had the same issue with my first. They were concerned that she was measuring small. She was born 2 days late, and came in at 6 lbs 12oz. So yeah, a little small, but perfectly healthy. And don't stress! You are going to be a great mom.
from princesse69 :
Hey there. Just been catching up on your entries. I'll be making sure I read you more regularly now your baby's nearly here. I hope baby turns round for you. I had to have a c-section for both of my children and felt like I missed out on the birth experience. Although they were both head down my pelvis was just too small for them to fit through. But my c-sections were both fine and weren't as bad as I thought though. I looked at your nursery pics and you've made me a little broody, you also have a cute belly bump! I bet you're both counting the days now, having your first child is so exciting!!
from zkandaloza :
Congrats on ur baby!! Is this ur first?
from ava-reborn :
How strange! We don't have stirrups for our smear tests. We just have to lay back and spread 'em!! Lol!! Oh, and we only have a smear every 3 years, not yearly.
from lerin :
I sent my password to you at 9:00 this evening. Let me know if you didn't receive it!
from radiogurl :
I'm not sure why your page isn't showing the comment section for me but thought I'd add here - some babies do NOT turn until the last couple of weeks. So I definitely wouldn't stress about it yet, even if Junior is in tight confines. You're not that big yet, no matter how ungainly you feel. Just relax as much as you can and stay off your feet. The swelling is NOT a good thing.
from emaciana :
i can relate so much to this entry. i'm only 3 months pregnant and have been looking at baby stuff trying to figure out what i need to get right away and what can wait. it's all so overwhelming! how have you been plodding your way through the buying madness? i'm just trying to keep sane
from bitterwineuk :
I don't even feel that anymore if I am honest. Having no dad around can't be any worse than having THAT as a role model. WE - Matthew and I can do so much better and I do think that things WOULD get worse then as he can't accept that he is not the centre of the universe. I am pretty certain on that one.
from orsimblossim :
No kidding! I am simply appalled at how utterly RUDE people can be when it comes to RSVPs. You know all about the Mr and Mrs Lemonsucker story. I felt badly for my MOH with the shower, because so many people never bothered RSVPing - and just showed up!! At least we all chipped in with the food on that one, so we had more than enough, but it's just so discourteous to just SHOW UP at someone's house that you don't know, without telling them you're coming! Most people for the wedding have been very good about the Response Cards, but there's always those few that I know will just show up and be all pissed off because they have no placecard or invite anymore. THOSE RSVP CARDS IN THE WEDDING INVITE - WITH A **DEADLINE** - ARE THERE FOR A REASON!
from bitterwineuk :
Thanks for your comment. The only trouble with that is I live in England. July was fantastic but August has been nothing but rain and thundery showers. It's more like autumn. Then it tends to get nicer in September. Crazy summer.
from orsimblossim :
Theresa, sweetheart....I don't take YOUR regret notice personally at all. I knew between getting laid off, and having your due date three weeks before our wedding, it would be very difficult for you guys to make it. I just wanted you to know that the door was open (and still is, until 4PM today ;) ). I am very grateful for everyone that is coming and I'm looking forward to seeing them, don't get me wrong....but it's still rather weird that even some close family members decided not to come.....well, screw 'em I say. I'll have Liza save some wedding cake, just for you and Dave. Trust me, you don't wanna miss it. :D
from ava-reborn :
Thank you sooo much!! Your note meant soooo much to me! You have no idea!! Thank you sweetheart!!
from emaciana :
hi there, i just started reading. i'm 11 weeks pregnant and excited to connect with other moms to be. are you nervous about the childbirth and postpartum pain, etc? Take care! i'm adding you to my faves.
from orsimblossim :
Aiiieee! "Regrets"? Nooo, say it ain't so! :(
from h2ophobic :
Look how cute your tummy is! Have you decided on a name yet?
from elliemay23 :
Hey there. You might want to check and see if any of the neonatologists in the NICU (if your hospital has a good unit) has a pedi practice. That's who we take Ninny to. Her pedi took care of her in the hospital too. She's not the full time one, but she fills in on weekends and vacations for the two that are full time in the NICU. Just a thought. xoxo, Ellie
from anita-girl :
Hey! Thanks for the comments on Ariel. Everyone says that she should be a model! My secrets for taking good shots are to put up a sheet or blanket for a good background, don't sit too close use your zoom, close all the blinds and use lighting not too much behind, and figure out what makes your baby smile and do anything to get it! Sometimes I shoot 30 pictures to get a good few. It takes work, oh do it right after a feeding and a poop! Plus I have a digital camera that lets me push to see the red light and than when she smiles I push harder so there is no delay. You just can't leave it too long on red or it's not so clear. I love taking baby pictures!

Congrats agian on the boy! I love th outfits! Don't you just love the CHildren's place and Gymboree? We also have them here in Canada and I buy A LOT of stuff there! from ladytesa :
I used to read your diary a lot before... and since coming back I realized you still update yours... it's amazing because nearly half or all the people on my favorites list is gone.. just wanted to congradulate you on the pregnancy!!! :)
from skinnylizzie :
Hi, sorry it's taken me so long to reply to your note, I swear I get more and more impolite by the day. Easter is still the 16th here, but we get 4 weeks off uni for it so have gone home amazingly early! And there's no need to be polite about all that reading, I'm dreading it and I chose the course! The wedding sounded lovely (can't believe she did all that herself!), glad you had a good time
from elliemay23 :
Hi there. I've not really been around lately and just found out you were expecting. Congrats and I hope everything is going well. You're due a month after me. :) xoxo, Ellie
from givemeabreak :
T- thanks for the supportive words. Yep, I was fired on March 2nd...let the good times roll! Hopefully soon....unemployment checks will come...things are looking pretty grim. I love reading your updates about the baby...I am so happy for you...
from orsimblossim :
Which reminds me...P.S.! ;) Would you mind bringing your wedding album to Ryan's party tomorrow (if you're coming)? I'd love to see your pics in print, plus I wanna know what Fianc and I are getting myself into. *L*

It went really well! I think we're going to hire him - that is, as soon as I come up with that huge 40% deposit. :-S

I liked reading all the questions and answers about the baby and pregnancy so far. I am still so thrilled for you and Dave. :) I hope everything continues to go well for you and that you have a wonderful pregnancy.
from classygirl83 :
Yeah, I've heard that you get sick the first year that you work at a daycare, but I didn't know that you got this sick. I mean I've had 2 103 degree fevers, and a constant cold/ cough. I don't mean to complain though. I'm sorry for complaining. I am alright. I hope that you have a great rest of the week.
from classygirl83 :
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!! I know that you're not on my buddy list and vise versa, but I drop in and read every once in a while, and I just wanted to say that I'm really happy for you and Dave!!!!!!!!
from xx-angel-xx :
hah, I'm not exactly sure if she's going through menopause or not yet. My dad and I always joke that when she does, we're building a house in the back yard so, we don't have to deal with her.. She's 42, i don't know when you actually start to go through that BUT i certainly hope she is.. haha..
from nimiiwin :
Congratulations!! How exciting for you both! I didn't think you were writing here any more so I took you off my buddy list! This is the first I've heard of it! Now that I know you're writing on dland again, I'll add you back to my buddy list. :)
from orsimblossim :
Well, that's a good thing about your mom at least....with some of the stories you've told of her in the past (KY Jelly?!?!), I'm surprised she didn't start lecturing you on the art of babymaking. ;)
from sixelasauce :
I am so so so happy for you!!! YOu are going to be an incredible mommy! big hugs girlie! Oh and the due date is almost on my birthday! (mine is 9/18) Virgos are awesome..so happy for you!
from hcatty :
congrats congrats congrats congrats congrats congrats congrats congrats!
from lilrunaway :
i suppose that's why they didn't show *me* the ultrasound when i went in... since i was 9 weeks at the time... have you had morning sickness yet?? i had mine at 7 weeks.
from ishouldcry :
Hiya, I am so happy for you, I already left you a comment (under bitterwineuk) but I have added a note to link and congratulate you at this diary. I hope you don't mind, if you do, just ask me to remove it and I will. Well done to you and Dave once again. :) Becca
from mathero :
holy crap! That's awesome!!! Congratulations hun. =P
from avalonte :
Thanks so much lovely. Your note meant a lot to me. xx
from princesse69 :
I took a peek at your pics on yahoo. I especially liked the wedding. You and Dave make a cute couple. I also liked the ones of your cats. I would love to have a kitten but I have to wait for the kids to get a bit older first. Glad your pleased with photobucket!
from somstar :
I honestly have no idea, but I'll check into it, later.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!
from orsimblossim :
Hell, I haven't even HAD it yet and I want it to be over! That's a sure sign we should elope. ;)
from janie12975 :
Heh. Those are good!
from orsimblossim :
It makes perfect sense, except for the fact that I - sadly - am yet to find a dress that actually combines both. :(
from h2ophobic :
You are definitely one of the most thoughtful persons I've met here! I don't really have any advice, but I do think that you are incredibly intelligent and also have a heart of gold. Those two traits sometimes work against each other. You're a good person...but in order to be a good person, you aren't required to be a doormat. If your friends are walking all over you, maybe they aren't truly friends, just long time acquaintances. Friends care...
from h2ophobic :
I was dumbfounded at your entry. I can't imagine someone thinking that way, MUCH LESS thinking it was okay to write something like that! I don't agree with everything I read in DL...but I agree with everyone's right to express THEIR opinion in THEIR diary. I always worry about people who think it is their DUTY in life to make sure EVERYONE thinks they way THEY do! Hang in there girl...I love reading ALL of your entries.
from orsimblossim :
Right...except "back in the day", her Mommy and Daddy paid for everything, because she has always been completely inept at taking care of anything herself. But nowadays, as us couples start footing more and more of the bill themselves (in our case, all of it), parents should have less and less of a say in the whole thing. So nyah. She can't stop me. If she doesn't want to show up, then less money to spend on dinner for her. Awesome. :P
from alwaysmuted :
I agree with you.MIL is being really selfish and she doesn't care if my hubby has his credit ruined because she really doesn't believe we will ever be able to afford to buy a house,on our own. That we are not as "successful" as her precious baby girl. I told Hubby, your mom ruins your credit because of her selfishness and need to keep up with her friends, then demand she pay to repair it? In-laws can be so irritating.Sorry for the vent.Thank you for caring though.Makes me feel not so stressed out.*hug*
from cleanstart :
I HATE the silent treatment! I hope things go well tonight! Hugs~
from bitterwineuk :
when did you lose more weight? I'm sure you weren't on 13.5 before but well done, target is so close now. Good luck.
from cleanstart :
Oh, I'm loving it so far!! Tomorrow will be a week! Really Satruday will, but I want to weigh in on Friday's(I use the digitial scales at my work) so I'm going to cut this week. I usually would not do the Atkins Diet, but I am going to Florida in 2 months and wanted to lose a guaranteed 15-20lbs. by then. So far, it's looking good. Although I know that carbs are needed for your body. I am also going to the YMCA exercising, so I plan to drop Atkins after Florida, continue exercising and just start eating healthier and cuttin portions. Atkins is just kind of a jump start, ya know?
from h2ophobic :
I hadn't scrolled all the way down your template before today...congrats on only being 3 lbs from your goal! YOU ROCK!
from ameliorating :
Thank you thank you thank you! I thought it was you, but when I searched your archives I couldn't find it!! Yay!! Hope your week is going well!
from cleanstart :
Awe, thanks! Encouragement and praise really helps keep one motivated!

For real, I like my food fried, not my hair!! :O)

Yeah, the economy does suck. One of our first priorities when we bought our house was to replace the 40 yr. old furnace and we decided to do all electric and got a heat pump. Our electric company gives us a 50% discount 8 months out of the year, so we only pay about $50 for electricity.. I wish everyone were so lucky. We have had a mild winter and my family is still getting $300/mo. gas bills! Its crazy.. and I don't think it will ever get better. Same old thing..the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Ack, when did I get so cynical?? Anyway, hope everything is ok, and my prayers go out to you and Dave.. I hope his job situation remains stable!
from cleanstart :
lol.. sorry, didn't mean to scare you. I'm sure she wil do a good job. Mine was just going from a subtle strawberry blonde to a bold red. I think that is what freaked me out. All the red!
from lindzeeleigh :
Awww, I just wanted to say thanks for the lovely note you left me about getting engaged and everything. I think what you said was so true. Everyone always has a comment to make on things. I know people do it because they are interested and because they care, so I just have to remember that. Hope your 2006 is off to a great start!! :)
from ameliorating :
Hey, its Jen (formerly Tigerlily21). I've moved to a new diary and just wanted to let you know! If you could please take Tigerlily off your buddy list, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Well,I didn't end up making Mexican food at all.I didn't have time to go shopping, and since someone gave us a free turkey..you know the rest. Still,I have the need for some beans.Hehe.Have a happy New Year, sweetness:)

I hope you have a wonderful New Year!!

Merry, merry, merry Christmas! Thanks for all the moments of laughter you've brought into my life this year!
from princesse69 :
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family! x
from bitterwineuk :
Just been reading your profile. You have great taste. Bon Jovi and Goo Goo Dolls but no Matchbox 20???? Still 2 out of 3 aint bad. Merry christmas.
from nmnohr :
Awwwww, I have friends over there. This time of year is the hardest. Merry Christmas to you and your family, and I'll keep praying that all the men and women in Iraq stay safe.
from xx-angel-xx :
Awe, Thank you!! I hope you have a wonderful Holiday as well!! :)
from lilpeanut80 :
hey! I found you from xx-angel-xx's diary. I'm going to add you as a fave! :)
from sixelasauce :
I LOVED your entry about delivering the christmas bounty to the family. It brought tears to my eyes. I used to be involved in an organization that did the same thing..I would do crazy things for the $$, then shop for days, and wrap the presents for even longer. It was hard and sometimes painfull...had to dye my hair a weird color to get someone to donate 100$..but when i was there to take all of it to the family it was one of the most moving moments of my life.
from cleanstart :
Thanks for the note...and Merry Christmas!
from h2ophobic :
What a wonderful entry that was! I'm so happy for you about your weight loss and how you're learning to do it the healthy way. That's so exciting to be trying for a baby (believe me...the trying part is much more fun than the actual delivery part!;0))
from sixelasauce :
I am really excited about your weight loss. I am trying to set myself up for a life style change, and reading about how happy you are really helps me along! The best part of your entry is when you were talking about how good you felt going out with friends and not worring about how you look. I am excited for that sooo much and you reminded me of that goal. You are great!
from bitterwineuk :
Thanks for adding me too your faves. I wouldn't worry too much about the whole pregnancy thing, it'll happen when it's ready. And don't be stressed out by the whole labour thing when it happens either, there are too many horror stories out there. Just be relaxed about it and enjoy each day as it comes. I wish you all the luck in the world. Becca
from cleanstart :
Ok, going to fitday right now. I have to have something simple. My life is so busy and it's hard for me to spend a whole lot of time counting fat/calories, etc.
from cleanstart :
Unfortunately it's not that time of month... The problem is solely me. I can't seem to stop snacking.I snack on chocolate, peanuts, hard candy, cookies... all day at work!
from bitterwineuk :
Isn't Lost just Sooooooooooo Coooooool!!!! I'm addicted to it too. But as I'm in the UK it's miles behind. Fortunately, I found a site telling me what happens in future episodes. Can't wait for season 2. I'd happily marry Jack OR Sawyer if I had the choice, either/or I'd take em. :) Becca. Congratulations on being a newlywed by the way.
from auntie-mari :
I so happy to see you are still doing well, I'm at a stand still again, and possible might have gained a lb or two since I have been baking and such!! I truly have a love/hate relationship with food this time of the year!! Post a photo of your tree with the presents under it. I don't have any under mine quite yet. OYY!! Have a wonderful day and take care!!
from cleanstart :
12.5 lbs! You go girl! Congrat's to you for sticking with it!
from h2ophobic :
I truly feel for you. I went through the same thing last winter/spring. Even now, I sometimes think about her and am amazed at the signs that I missed. Hang in there...surround yourself with REAL friends and don't beat yourself up too much. The reason it takes us so long to see dishonesty in others is because it wouldn't even occur to us to behave that way. We believe what others say because when we speak, we tell the truth. We just automatically assume that others do the same! Luckily, most of them do.
from cleanstart :
Hugs to you!
from sixelasauce :
i love your positive thinking. One day at a time...hey that is a show, or was a show...hee hee.. Blair..(um focus six.) you are still fun to read and I LOVE your wedding pix...you are such a pretty lady...lady sounds so proper...I mean you are a hottie..that sounds better..thatnks for the fun reads..oxoxo
from lilrunaway :
Bon Jovi *might* be coming to Dallas... I would think they would. Hmmmm. I am going to have to look into that!! I could definitely manage to go to Dallas to see them!
from somstar :
I have a simular love, but for the counting crows! I'm glad you had fun!
from mathero :
Your layout is so pretty! ♥
from jane-dreams :
Just popped in from Holli's comments, and I have to say I *love* your template! How sweet! :)
from skinnylizzie :
According to British Cosmo, 64% of women spend more on themselves at Christmas than on presents...think I definitely fall into that category too!
from krugerpak007 :
Great entry too at Clarity! You are so right, although I dread getting older and I hate that I am 31. Gosh, I feel like a teenager still and act like one. But I am starting to get wrinkles under my eyes...whish I could freeze time sometimes. Or turn back the clock.. Have a GREAT weekend. xoxox Kathy
from krugerpak007 :
I loved your entry at chakra-chick. You are so absolutely right. And congats on your wedding. Wishing you guys only happiness and good things! xoxox Kathy
from chakra-chick :
Cool! You can e-mail me your entry whenever and I'll post it on my site. Thanks doll!
from orsimblossim :
Precisely my thoughts too. Except now that he's "won" re-election he's also won the results of his first four years: BANKRUPTCY! Mwha-hahahahahahahahafucker
from cleanstart :
Yep, that was her. And I thought that you two knew each other for "real". I have not read her in a while. Maybe I will check her old entries from before she quit writing.
from cleanstart :
It does seem like all that was just yesterday. And same with your life events too. I originally found you through a diary that has a website where she sold party stuff or something like that? I forgot her diaryname, you know who I'm talking about? lol..
from xx-angel-xx :
thank you for your note! I had my gallbladder removed also. It was infected and such. A lot of my family members, including my mother had theirs taking out too, it must run in the family. Once again, thank you for your notes :)
from moodymama :
i totally forgot to put the title on my entry. sorry about that!
from somstar :
I can post tonight if you want me too.
from lifeofliza :
Hi... I just finally saw the comment you left on my journal. Thanks for your input. You're the perfect person to talk to about the situation, because I know you've been there. I do appreciate your advice. I know you're right... But unfortunately it doesn't make it easy! LOL :)
from somstar :
Sure I'll do it, can i write about just anything?
from moodymama :
some of y'all don't pay attention. two smacks and no drinks for you, missy! just kidding. i suppose i could create a username and a password for you, cuz i'm nice like that! :)
from tuff517 :
Guest entry = yep! Just let me know when, that'll be easier for me.
from ursamajor :
I'm all for doing the guest entry! How do we do that?
from caffeinegeek :
Organic produce is a good way to start, and that's not much more expensive. It's when you get into meat and dairy that the costs can get high. You have Trader Joe's in MI right? Their organic groceries are always really cheap. Thanks for all of your comments. :)
from skinnylizzie :
Wow, that means I've been reading your diary for over a year now! It's crazy how fast time goes, I remember when I started to read and your wedding seemed so far away, and now you're happily married :). And I think I might adopt your attitude vis-a-vis dating men, it really does seem like the most sensible thing to do. Also, the stubbornness thing? I can totally relate to that, despite having no husband!
from nimiiwin :
Well, I've actually had some symptoms, but I never attributed them to arthritis. I have had "knee issues" for more than 10 years. We'll see what the doc says on next Tuesday. Thanks for the note!
from sosuga :
Hey sister -- at def leppard we sat in row 120 CC which is on the lowest level in the folding-chairs area. But no they didnt throw t-shirts out, I just meant I bought one ($30) well I didnt, but Tony did :) Looks like you and D had a ball @ your halloween party I wish I dressed up it mustve been so much fun to be a schoolgirl ;) I'm sure Dave was ecstatic as well hehe
from skinnylizzie :
Glad everything's better than you thought, hope you have fun tonight - schoolgirl costume definitely means you'll get a lot of attention!
from vickithecute :
Sounds like you had fun! Sorry about the twisted ankle though. I got freaked to Pour Some Sugar on Me a few weeks ago at a club I went to. Very strange experience. At my advanced years (37 on Sunday!) I don't get out to the clubs much and am thus unfamiliar with the mating habits of today's youngsters. :-P (BOO Haloscan!!)
from xx-angel-xx :
Halsocan isn't letting me post.. soo, i'll write what i did there here, I'm sorry about your ankle, that's a bummer but, I'm glad to hear you had a great time regardless :)
from sosuga :
I was at the palace tonight too :D The show was of course amazing...Tony and I were on the platform at the very bottom so we were very close. I <3 rock concerts !!! I of course scored a teeshirt as well :D
from radiogurl :
I give up. Grrr... the comment feature ate my comment, lol. I'm glad you enjoyed the concert, but sorry to hear about your knees and ankle. I've done something comparable before and it never fails to annoy!
from miss--lily :
Hey!!I just wanted to say that I moved and now I'm in the progess of making my new (proper this time) diary!! Christina
from makinganewme :
Hey, thanks, I'd really appreciate that!!!
from lovemyfriend :
Hi, I just joined your Friends diaryring ;)
from ava-reborn :
thank you so much for your lovely note. Yes, I was in a terrible state! I screamed, and couldn't stop crying, but then it set K off, so I had to sort myself out quick!! It was a weird mix of relief that I had her back and distress that she was hurt! I'll let you know how she gets on. Have a great weekend lovely. x
from icyjewel :
Wow, thanks for adding me to your favorites and for the sweet comment you put on the description! :)
from lindzeeleigh :
Hhahaha, I dont know why you thought that, maybe you are hoping that it will happen soon too? Or maybe because we live together? Who knows, but I will definitely tell Ben, he will get a kick out of it!
from lindzeeleigh :
I only *wish* I was engaged. It hasn't happened yet!!! :P

Getting gas this morning $35 Having the time this morning to read your very very amusing entry Priceless! Have a great day!
from skinnylizzie :
Hehe, somebody has to stop the stupid gas man from preying on that lovely little old lady who lives a couple of doors up from me! Just wanted to say thank you for the nice notes recently, I'm abysmal at replying in decent time, sorry :). And also, am I right in thinking it's your birthday tomorrow?! If it is, then HAPPY BIRTHDAY! If it's not, please ignore my last 2 sentences, I'm so sorry, I do have the occasional dense moment...
from chakra-chick :
Hi there! Thanks for adding me!
from lindzeeleigh :
Yup, I am nmost definitely from Canada - Alberta actually. I think it is so funny you didn't notice until now! [Maybe I never mentioned anything or posted anything about it?] I though I did an entry about Canada Day in July.....hmmm...Well, now you know! You silly Americans who have their Thanksgiving late! LoL.
from xx-angel-xx :
thank you so much! I got it all but the profile seems to be not working but, I will look at it later, Logan doesn't want to nap.. silly boy.. Thank you once again!!
from caffeinegeek :
As always, thanks for leaving the notes. The smell in AP's room isn't food. We think it just may be him. SO finally broke down and talked to him about it so it's something we're working on.
from xx-angel-xx :
awe man, I didn't even notice they weren't there lol. If you have the links and Won't be any trouble of you, I could use it. I searched and searched for a different halloween or fall layout but, i just couldn't find one.
from skibigsky :
(Couldn't post in the g'book for some reason, so here it is.) 30 is just so totally a number. It dawned on me few days ago that I will be 35 in a few months. When I was 16, I thought 35 was ANCIENT. Now that I'm looking closely at the 35, it doesn't seem so ancient. In fact, I look back to when I was 16 (and 21, 25, and even 29), and am glad that I am no longer at that stage in my life. Not that I look down on any of those ages, but as I get older, I look more forward than backward. Trust me. The future is so much better than looking back at the past - the future has potential, while the past only has 'couldhavebeens'. BTW, happy (premature) birthday!
from lilrunaway :
Thanks for the note! I am going to go to both of my classes tomorrow, I promise. :-) hehe.
from jess1976 :
Thanks for your note! The pics of the dresses are of the exact dress and color. I'm so glad all 6 of my bridesmaids were able to agree on one dress and amazingly it was the first one they looked at!
from marlen816 :
Turning 30 was the best! Welcome to the 30somethings =)
from xx-angel-xx :
ty for your note. I do live with my parents. My parents probably could watch Logan if I were to work but, they are usually so tired after work that it would be exhausting for them to take care of Logan too, Logan's just such a handful and into everything possible and really doesn't listen all that much at times.. but, Weekends would be good but, I don't know how many jobs only hire for weekends.. I think I'll start looking around though.
from ray0flight :
Im going to BJ is toronto - I can't wait!!
from ava-reborn :
Thanks lovely. It's on Friday. 30th Sept. He could meet me for a bit on my birthday, but as it takes over 3 hours to get there and 42, it's not worth it for just an hour or so! So basically, he cancelled because we wouldn't be able to spend enough time together to make it worth my effort. I'll try to remember your birthday! If I don't, have a wonderful day!!! x
from aliboomboom :
I don't know if they are making Good in Bed into a movie or not, I hope so!!
from h2ophobic :
Thanks for your note. I wasn't very clear about when Tony died. This November will be 3 years. He worked with Shelby's youth group.
from makinganewme :
Hey, eww, you don't want to see a whole picture. LOL. But, I'll see if I can find one. It's not naturally curly, but I wish it was. I use hot rollers in the mornings. When I wash it if I don't blow dry it it has a natural wave...but only in the back. So, to get it straight I've got to either blow dry it or use the straightener. Either way, it's a lot of work!!!
from lilrunaway :
i didn't ask about the surgery... mainly because i don't want to know. i'd rather not hear details of it. i know enough already! haha. if it were an animal surgery, i'd be all about details.. but i can't deal with human surgery and hospital stuff! :-P
from caffeinegeek :
Thanks so much for your comment hon.
from elliemay23 :
Thanks for the note. I'm glad rita missed us but some rain sure would have been nice. Thanks for the compliment on my pics of the girls. xoxo, Ellie
from grassyknoll :
Woohoo for Jgerbombs! :D
from h2ophobic :
About the wedding photos/Myspace chick: You said you've already forgiven her. But do you WANT to be friends with her or feel like you HAVE to be friends with her? You're pretty mature...is she the type of friend that you want to spend time with? Sometimes we have to spend time with people we don't particularly like, but we don't have to CHOOSE to be friends with them. If she hasn't apologized by now, she's probably not going to. You're such an open, honest person...will you be able to believe anything she says? If it were me, I'd put her on the "we're having a huge party and inviting dozens of people" list, rather than the "let's call a few friends and go out to dinner" list.
from aliboomboom :
I think it'll be Kaysar and Janelle on Amazing RAce. Great team, dont' you think? They'd have a chance at winning!!
from marlen816 :
Congrats on the weight loss!
from tuff517 :
Hi! Just catching up. Congrats on the 5 pounds! I need to get back on track. I lost 15 by March and then quit. Lazy! I'm going to borrow your motivation.
from alwaysaroura :
It figures you would know the statistics on that, you are always telling me some kind of interesting fact or statistic. You must be smart!! And three times a week, are you kidding me? I think I'd die. And hell if newlyweds are having all the sex then I don't ever want to be an old married couple!!
from h2ophobic :
New haircut & glasses - so cute. You have such a pretty smile. It really lights up your entire face!
from h2ophobic :
P.S. I wore your beautiful pink necklace to work today and got TONS of compliments on it! Thanks again!
from h2ophobic :
I can't believe that photo guy was such a jerk. I would email him again asking for the 74 photos to be printed in color. Then I would save all the emails that have gone back and forth in case you have to report him to the Better Business Bureau! Hopefully he was just having a bad day (no excuse) and he will give you everything you're asking for...nicely. BTW - what was his remark "go to church on Sunday" all about? Is he going to meet you there with your color photos?
from auntie-mari :
I am happy you made so much at your yard sale! I wish I lived where I could have a decent one! Thank goodness for freebees in the newspaper!
from auntie-mari :
How wonderful for you that your wedding was such a great thing. Mine was too for the most part. I love your music. I wish I had better video, I didn't realize it but out video of our wedding got all sorta warped and well you can watch it but the voice is horrible. I'm glad you have a good DVD. They didn't have them 18 years ago when I got married. I hope you cherish it for year to come.
from h2ophobic :
I love the way you see things. Many people see life as one hassle after another. You see life as one blessing after another. That's a wonderful gift!
from candypop23 :
Hi!! I've been trying to send you an e-mail but the link doesn't work. Can you please leave me a note with your e-mail address?
from simplify :
I guess I hoped that our experience with the drywall guy was somewhat unique, but I'm learning that our experience is all too common. I will say this for the guy, he did a great job, he did it fast and he did it cheap. I guess that's worth the tradeoff.
from your-fitness :
I know, but my stamina is not so great as it was when I was younger :( I know that you only start burning fat after 20 minutes of cardio but that's about all I can stand, heh. 30 is pushing it! I'm sure if I do this more regularly I'll build up to it, in fact my next workout is Physical Challenge (it's my third one, I think). I'm doing it tonight, so stay tuned for results!
from alwaysaroura :
I'm sorry that your mom is behaving this way. It's hard. I would be obsessed with it as well. Of course I moved to Maryland and my mother acts like I don't exist now. I think it's just hard having a daughter, women are naturally competitive and I think that it even shows in mother/daughter relationships. Good luck. Maybe she'll surprise you? I hope so.
from alwaysaroura :
Thanks for the note. I am really trying to not let what other people think of me get to me. It's hard though. Partially because I think a lot of people see me in the same way that the woman who sent the email does. As if I'm not important or I'm stupid. I don't know. I guess it just hit close to home. You need to remember your own advice when it comes to your mother, don't let her get to you!! Also you look completely different in your wedding pictures then you do in your profile picture, it's funny.
from skinnylizzie :
You seem so motivated with your great exercise plan, it puts lazy people like me to shame!
from leckalou :
Hey, thanks for the note! Yes, being engaged IS stressful, I don't even feel like planning anything! I thought I'd be so excited about planning but I just want to elope!
from prettye :
hey whtas up just wanted to say hey write back bye
from xx-angel-xx :
Oh, okay. I didn't know you were all doing THAT much! Geesh. Good Luck with it all! Some guys just feel the need to always be doing that. Hopefully you two get time alone, longer then a few minutes :)
from aliboomboom :
Yes I had McDonalds, damnit. I suck. Treadmill here I come. As for what you said in your entry, you were right about everything. People leave me comments and act like they are the smartest people ever when they very obviously aren't. Don't worry about it!
from laila726 :
Cheer up, sugar. Things will get back on track. And I hear ya on people being complete assholes sometimes. I live around a bunch of college kids and all they do is act like drunk 5 year olds. I had one guy last year who lived above us and I woke up one morning to somekind of seafood/chinese puke mess all over my grill. Nice huh? I was so fuckin pissed. They have no God damn consideration for anything. Have a good one sweetness....
from xx-angel-xx :
Thank you for your note, yes, my two bottom teeth were impacted, thank goodness I didn't have to get anything done to my top ones, the bottoms were bad enough! I don't think he has anethsia (sp) or maybe because the whole process only takes about 15 minutes so, he doesn't think you need to be put to sleep, who knows, I wish I would have been put to sleep though but, what can ya do.
from aliboomboom :
Gosh, you are short! I thought you were at least 5'4". Anyways it's really not that much to lose. I don't have much to lose either. But yes age affects metabolism and put having a baby on top of that, yikes!!
from h2ophobic :
I completely understand your frustration! That's happened to me with several different types of workout tapes. If you don't have one I suggest that you look for a "beginner" pilates tape. You don't get as good a work out, but you can learn the basics of the exercises. I ordered the pilates tapes from the informercial (I can't remember the name and am too lazy to go downstairs to check) that Daisy Fuentes does. They were kinda expensive...maybe $30 or so. But there were actually 3 or 4 tapes. A beginner (which explained each move S L O W L Y,) then a regular and an advanced. Good luck! I like pilates, but I also love the "Sweating to the Oldies" tapes too...Richard Simmons CAN be pretty annoying, but his tapes are fun and definitely a good workout.
from xx-angel-xx :
thank you so much for your note! He just doesn't understand how much money i do spend on logan and its the things he NEEDS and i'm not wasting the money on stupid stuff. If he had Logan and raised him and shopped for him, he'd understand. Your note made me realize, that I'm right in it and I shouldn't have to defend myself. Thank you :)
from aliboomboom :
Oh it's okay. YOu weren't the only one that asked!!
from aliboomboom :
Yes, it's a cigarette but it's not lit and it doesn't belong to me! Although I do smoke when I drink. I can't help it. It's the Tennessee in me!! And yeah I'm feeling better. Two people told me I was thin today out of nowhere. I guess being a size 8 isn't so bad!!
from lilrunaway :
Hey! I changed my diaryland password... what's your e-mail? I'll e-mail you the new one! :-)
from my-solitaire :
wow congrats I would've passed out!
from h2ophobic :
Dancing is GREAT exercise. Good luck on your weight loss goals. Do you have any particular plan in mind?
from lilrunaway :
Matt's a funny man. hehe. Sounds like something he would do... he doesn't live in austin anymore though. At least, not that I know of. He does in fact own the ranch near my town... and we're 3.5 hours from Austin.
from sosuga :
hey what city are you in? I'm in the plymouth area...
from tuff517 :
Yikes, white type on a white screen! No, I have white type, but orange, brown & green are the backgrounds. Oy, too many browsers!
from lindzeeleigh :
Yes, he just bought them for me out of nowhere! Ben is lovely like that. Now I am just waiting for the BIG surprise present that will replace my promise ring. Hehe. I have a feeling it will be sometime soon. :)
from caffeinegeek :
Yeah, I think Bru may be gunning for a partnership in the family business. :)
from lilrunaway :
hmmm... Matt playing bongos in the nude? interesting. very possible that it happened. crazy stuff happens at the bars here ALL the time. his ranch is about 25 minutes from here... and my mom's really good friend lives right next to him! maybe i'll go "ride horses along the fenceline and happen to take a camera with me"... hehe. (i posted this on MY notes page... not really sure how i did that.. but it was meant for you! lol)
from tuff517 :
Oh MY Jon Bon Jovi. Oh my, oh my, OH MY. Hm. Ahem. MY.
from simplify :
thanks theresa. thankfully, we don't want the carpets because there's hardwood underneath so the cat pee carpets can go!
from my-solitaire :
thanks! Yeah just right click "save as" and just dont change anything when you save it, don't try to rename it or anything, just save it and upload it to your server ^_-
from jess1976 :
Oops sorry!! I'm the one on the left with pink shirt and brown hair. Thanks!!
from my-solitaire :
hey t are you able to host your own images or no? Only reason im asking is because i dont have that much room! I use a lot of it lol
from marlen816 :
Cool new template. I love the picture of you and Dave in the bottom right hand corner. Also, love your new wheels.
from mickey225 :
Great pics! LOL!!!
from eggsaucted :
Thanks for the note. I accidently deleted it! I was deleting a note with someones username and password and poof yours went too never to see the light of day again. Anyway thanks for the note, her highness refuses to stop growing and stay my little tiny baby and I just don't know what to do about it. Congrats on the wedding.
from h2ophobic :
Congrats on getting your car for "your" price! Keep the pics coming...there's no such thing as too many wedding photos!
from my-solitaire :
hey I am so happy for you and I know you will enjoy the car! <3
from aliboomboom :
So cute!! I love pictures. My uncle has a Santa Fe, he seems to like it. Must be a good car, they are everywhere!

from alwaysange :
Sounds like Glacier National Park. It's beautiful there. I hope they have a wonderful trip.
from bettyalready :
I'm at bettyalready.typepad.com. My friend who's currently being verbally abused by her boyfriend found my diary. I don't want him to have access to my archives. Diaryland is just irritating me in general. I'll probably unlock in a few days anyway and write in both
from aliboomboom :
Oh that's hilarious. I was wondering how you were in that movie and failed to mention it. Ha ha. I have to see it now. I'll let you know if and when it loads.
from reazintoliv :
Hey! Thanks so much for the note! My husband is slowly getting back to his normal healthy self. The doctors aren't completely positive, but it's possible that the bleeding was caused by an ulcer. He's been pain-free since he's been out of the hospital, though, so it's a good sign!!!
from aliboomboom :
I thought about that but do you know how much he'll change between now and next summer? I wouldn't have any pictures of all that time. I think at the very least I am going to get one every six months. And no I still couldn't afford it, it's like thousands of dollars!!
from moodymama :
geeze. i can't even find my comments! maybe you didn't see them? hehe. :)~~
from moodymama :
i know a lot of people who own toyotas (camry) and SWEAR by them. my mil has one that's kind of old and she never has problems with it. EVER. i just bought a small SUV (to me it's small) and i love it. i'm not fond of large cars, even if i do have three children. i don't do minivans and can't big expeditions/excursions/escalades that have monster-sized gas tanks. and btw, i'm guessing that i left the comments that you were referring to. i can't remember what i said, but i remember when i left them i kept thinking that you didn't know me well enough to catch my odd sense of humor. i'm truly sorry about that. :|
from aliboomboom :
I like Kaysaar too. I was glad that he stayed. I like the girls' partner in the house though. I think she is so pretty!! I got into BB5. I liked the guy who won, he was so hot. I liked Jase and Holly too. Drew, was that his name? HOT. And he has a twin brother, HOT. Anyways yes Jessica is suppose to announce that she and Nick are getting divorced as is Johnny. I hope it's true. I can't stand Nick and never thought he was good enough for her. I love Jessica though. It's like she's the underdog and she's coming out on top. I mean she didn't make Mickey Mouse Club when Britney and Christina did and then their careers popped way before hers and she was always kind of third place and now she's definately the biggest celeb and it's like yay you deserve it. And I just thinki Nick is cheesy. I like Johnny. Of course it could all be a rumor but I've heard it several places. I think it would be great. And it's hilarious because she and Nick have ben saying they are fine everywhere. I love it when the tabloids know something and the celebs deny it and then the tabloids are right.
from aliboomboom :
The Wal Mart thing is awesome. You should definately try it. My mom did it and got the pictures back in an hour for a little more money. Technology can be so wonderful. I'm really going to have to give this weight loss my all. It's not easy or fun but its' something that I need to do to get back to feeling good about myself. I'm all hips and fat arms these days. Oh and that was funny when Lacey was talking to Johanna about that last night. I was cracking up. She's going to feel like an idiot when she sees that. I think Lacey is one of those people that acts all innocent but has to tell everyone everything she knows, a real gossip queen. He needed to know though and I loved the way he handled it.

from skinnylizzie :
Thank God I wasn't, I live a couple of hours away from London, but half of my family lives there and my dad works there, just thankful for small mercies I guess! But thank you for the kind note
from pastagirl :
Thanks! Hey, you guys can celebrate for 3 days from next year on :)
from alwaysaroura :
It really is a tragedy that terrorism exists. I remember laying in bed all day on 9/11. I was so depressed. It just feels like it can't get any worse sometimes, doesn't it? Thank you so much for the note that you left. I really feel like such a different person these days. I feel so blessed. And I don't know what it is about married sex. I've been having sex with Taylor for almost five years and it's always been great but now, it's just the way it was always meant to be. It almost makes me wish that we had waited. But yeah right, there is no way we would have lasted!! I'm really enjoying your diary. Hope we can get to know each other better!
from h2ophobic :
THAT was a beautiful entry. Your words express what so many of us think!
from tuff517 :
Hi! Yay! I'm glad you had a happy wedding day and all, thank you SO much for the necklace. I just got it yesterday and it'll look awesome when I dress for the beach. Plus, it's whiter than my skin [which is rare] so it'll make me look tanner! Thank you!
from alwaysaroura :
You have some really great pictures, as well. I love the professional shots that I had done. I'm sure you'll love yours as well. Married life is neat, huh?
from aliboomboom :
Well I got a spoiler about RW and it appears that Melinda and Danny are now living together so that means this Wes thing doesn't really affect them. As for DOOL, it's so good right now. I mean a lot of the stories are moving slow, like always but there are some good things happening. Shawn and Belle are supposed to be back together in the fall. Yay!! I can't stand the actor that plays Phillip. And all the stories are wrapping up. The new big thing is that Marlena is pregnant with Roman's baby and that is going to have to come out. Of course JOhn can't get too mad because she got pregnant with Belle when she was married to Roman, ya know? I really want Billie and Bo to find Georgia. That's the big story I want to unfold, it seems like Chelsea would turn out to be Georgia but you just never know.
from aliboomboom :
Max is Frankie's little brother and I swear I have seen him somewhere before but I can't place him at all. He's very cute. The girl who plays Chloe is gorgeous. I saw her at that awards show, she has an amazing body!! Frankie played AJ on General Hospital, that's my other soap. He's cute but he's short. You should have seen him against Patrick the other day. I don't know what Days is doing, all the men have mullets right now. It's gross. YOu have to start watching again, it's getting good!!
from pastagirl :
Congratulations!!!
from laila726 :
No, the acrylic won't hurt your natural nail at all. Even if you did get tips put on, you'd still have acrylic on the top part of your nail... they just brush the acrylic over the tip as well. The only thing that I recommed is if you do decide to take off your nails... by yourself or at the shop... make sure you soak them off in acetone nail polish remover. It'll take a while to come off, but don't rip of pull off the acrylic. You'll rip the layers of your nailbed. Those Chinese chop shops are really bad! They don't really sanatize their tools and who knows what is spreading around in those places. Just remember... you get what you pay for. :)
from caffeinegeek :
Yeah it is kind of to little to late. I'm probably going to stick with Typepad as a host. They really do a nice job with tech support, help requests etc. My only complaint is the lack of control over your layout.
from aliboomboom :
I'm glad you don't find me boring. I read your diary all the time too. There are some on my buddy list, I just pass over unless I'm really bored!! Oh and Days isn't on today or tomorrow because of Wimbledon. Boo hoo. I am so mad at Belle for picking Phillip. I mean I can see why she would but he totally was giving her an out and she didn't take it. Belle and Shawn belong together! They said they won't be back together till fall, damnit. I swore if Brady didn't find Chloe soon, I was going to lose my mind. Thank God he found her. They are both leaving Days so I would say that there characters will get together and go back to Rome or wherever she's been. She is gorgeous. Austin is supposed to retunr soon. I can't wait for that. And Max Brady, what did he use to be on? He is so familiar to me.
from marlen816 :
Glad to hear you returned home safely and had a great trip. Welcome Home, Mrs. Dave =)
from catzi :
CONGRATULATIONS!!! *hugs* Happy Wedding! You look so pretty, I love your hair and veil. Sounds like you had a very pretty wedding and very happy, too. Hope you have a great honeymoon. BTW, Thank you for your note after my graduation entry. I really appreciate it. :) Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS! May you two be blessed with a long, happy, healthy, and beautiful life together! catzi >^..^<

from skinnylizzie :
Just wanted to pop by and say have an amazing day tomorrow, I'm sure it'll all go brilliantly! Can't wait to hear about it and see the pictures!
from marlen816 :
Have an awesome time and update when you get back from the honeymoon - complete with pictures!
from nmnohr :
Best of luck this weekend. I know you will have an amazing day!! Congrats!
from xanti :
Breathe! It will help. I'm sure things will go well, and if, on the off-chance they don't go exactly as planned, you will still be married, which is the most important thing, right? I can't imagine planning a wedding myself, but it seems really stressful and you seem to be doing an awesome job! Take care!
from marlen816 :
You are going to be fine. You will look gorgeous, everything will go off without a hitch and everyone will have an excellent time. But, even if something does go amiss and someone doesn't have a smashing time, you are going to have a wonderful day and be married to the man of your dreams, your best friend and lover and who cares about everything/everyone else! Enjoy yourself and try not to stress or be nervous! ((Hugs)) and prayers!
from aliboomboom :
The pictures are so cute! And some of the guys are cute!! I'm glad that you had fun. Can you beleive you'll be married this time next weeK? Eek, that is so exciting!!
from grassyknoll :
BWHA-HAHAHAHAHA! Those pics are a riot! I am so very upset I couldn't make it and share a toilet throwing up with you this morning, lol. Settling in here, slowly but surely...still SO much to do! You never realize how much CRAP you have until you move, I'm tellin' ya.... :P
from h2ophobic :
Happy Wedding Day (one week early) I don't go online much during the week, so I wanted to make sure I remembered to wish you joy, happiness and a stress free day! My advice to you is this: Ignore the stupid people. They will try to make YOUR day about THEM....ignore them.
from ava-reborn :
Thank you so much for your lovely note about Caleb!! And how wonderful if my entry has educated other cat owners and helps them save their own cats if they have the same problem!! So Diaryland isn't just a place to sound off, document, and make new friends, it acts as a public information system too!! By the way, I'm getting so excited about your wedding!!! You will share some pics won't you? Have a great weekend lovely. x
from elliemay23 :
Sounds like you are really having a wonderful time with this. I hope everything goes smoothly and you can fully enjoy your special day. xoxo, Ellie
from cosmopolitn :
I ran across your diary while looking on Ali's page and I wanted to tell you that your song list looks great for your wedding! I am getting married next year in May and you gave me some good ideas...Let me know if I could add you to my favorites~I would love to!
from aliboomboom :
Oh and have you talked to your travel agent? Maybe she knows of something that you can do?
from aliboomboom :
Too bad he can't just go out of state and get a license!! That would so not be a problem in TN. I just got mine renewed and I walked out with a brand new one like 15 minutes later!!Does he know where his birth certificate is? CAn he get a new work id right away? I bet you guys are dying for DQ to open!! How did he just lose his wallet? Doesn't he keep it in his pocket? This is stressing me out!! I know something will work out, I just know it. You won't have to postpone your honeymoon, that is like sacreligious or sometihng!! Keep me updated!!
from elliemay23 :
Thanks. Hopefully it will go smooth. I'm not a fan of needles, so going under the knife really isn't on my top ten list of things to do. Have a good day. xoxo, ELlie
from aliboomboom :
Thanks for the compliments regarding Griffin. I think he's beautiful but I never tire of hearing it. MTV is playing Chaotic on Thursdays or at least that is what I hear. They wanted it but UPN offered more. Weird, huh? And I can't stand Kevin and I can't stand Britney but I'm addicted, I'm so weird.
