i don't think there's anything wrong with having an aversion to someone else spending more time with my kid than me. someone OUTSIDE of my house. matt is older than monkey so it's different. i just feel that she's too young and it's more important to me to be around during this time in her life than to be working off at some job while she sits in a daycare center. at least at night she'll be sleeping by the time i get home, so i'm not missing much.

(((((((((((((((((em))))))))))))))))) good luck at the new job tomorrow. :) i missed registration for fall at all three of my chosen schools. i guess that allows me to work full-time until january. i went ahead and printed the request for transcript forms for all of my schools (!) so i can at least get that shiiiat out of the way, you know? i'm going to soak in a bubble bath, down a vicodin, get travis to do my hair, and call it a night. all this online activity makes me dizzy without my glasses. i'll be thinking of you tomorrow. :)

I went to the DA. She was female. The cop wanted to slam him against the wall and make him pay for crimes he didn't even think about comitting let alone comit. However...I told the DA (who thankfully was female) that I have been raped in the past and went without therapy or help for that crisis because I feared my ex-husband would call it an "affair" rather than what it truly was. That when R got drunk I couldn't deal with that and have never liked who he is when he's drunk, however we have a very open sex life and therefore everything and anything he was doing that night was not all that out of the norm. I, however reacted badly because I've been raped and I just wanted the incident to end without tragedy and I freaked and just wanted help. The DA suggested I get therapy and that b.f. goes to alcohol counseling. He'll probably be forced to do so by a judge and he will be subjected to random "immediate" testing. Meaning they can call him up at any time and do a drug and or alcohol test and therefore he'll be forced to stop and hopefully that will be long enough that he'll think about what he is doing. However....the DA recommends to the state that there be no further charges. (Those charges would have been "attempted rape" charges.) I think that later charge is not what happened. I think he was a b.f. who got drunk and ammourous and wanted to make love. The things he did and said weren't anything he's not done or said a thousand times. When he's not drunk believe me I welcome his attentions and I'm not a prude...I'm more of a freak in the sheets. The DA smiled and said she appreciated my honesty and would suggest to the judge that b.f. get some alcohol counseling but it wasn't mandatory in all cases. She commended me on my willingness to support him yet not excuse his problem either. Go me! I feel mucho better about this and can't wait to pass the msg through the grapevine to him so he can breath a sigh of relief and we can move on and work on the other "little one" issue. He knows about that too and is excited and happy and yet wants to go to the doctor with me and know that all is ok. The latter is something I'm not sure of, however the dr. told me nothing that happened would have caused a miscarriage. I have to wait and see if there is a viable heartbeat. I'm scared...
