Thanks so much. It is important it its own weird way to kind of idolize certain people if they represent good things to you, or a good time in your life. Elliott Smith's music, to this day, makes me weep like a baby, but I like the person I've built him up to be in my head, to the point of looking at certain people who like his music and thinking, "No way, you can't like Elliott Smith! He'd hate you, you're an asshole."

THE BELL JAR! IT IS SIMPLY AMAZING! i am almost finished with it. it is her only novel, but she has a few other books of poetry collections...the bell jar is something that we can all splash into and find a bit of ourselves along the way. it is trecherously stupendous!
