My sister is 5 months pregnant. We just found out (I was informed at camp) that her baby has a very rare disorder where the kidneys aren't developed, and the fluid around the baby is very very minimal. The baby has a 99.9% chance of death. My sister is going to keep going to the doctors to have the heart beat monitored until it stops beating. If this happens, she will probably be induced and will have to give birth to a still born.
I'm asking everybody, if they would please, please pray for my sister, my family, the baby. I firmly believe that God can work miracles, and I am just asking for prayer for my family at this time. I'm praying that if it be God's will, the baby will live, and if not, for it to be a peaceful acceptance. I would really appreciate everybody's support and prayers.

my cousin's husband put a 25 in his mouth and shot himself right next to my yard in his car yesterday afternoon. he went brain-dead. they pulled the plug this morning; he kept breathing through reflex. then they pronounced him dead around 5:30 this evening. sad, really...how unexpected deaths can be. i am praying for you, for the rest of matt's friends, and for his family - but not for him, because the angels are too busy rejoicing for a new pair of wings in heaven. God bless, sweetie. rest in Christ.

re: "SOL scores and other stuff" entry. You know your testimony is not as bad as you think. I have the same testimony, and I often wondered how my testimony could touch others (especially because I'll be leaving for Mexico on a mission trip this friday!). But one of the leaders said something interesting about this. He said testimonies like that are the best kind. It shows that God is real and is with us. He has been through every bad situation and has brought you through. Also, think on how your life might have been like without God. We have been blessed with knowing God from the beginning. Many people had to go through the bad times without him before they started a relationship with God. So, our testimonies have meaning. Think about it...

Hi honey. I think if you look over your entries over the past week or so - you may see why you are not hearing from God. I am saying this in love honey - but with all the grumbling and complaining, God may be speaking but your ears are full of your own words. When you grumble against God, only bad things can come. Read up on what happened to the Israelites when they complained against their circumstances. Paul said to be content in any situation. I would recommend reading your Word more often, really let it soak into you. God doesn't speak soley through dreams. He speaks more through His word and just quiet time spent with Him. You need to regain your peace and joy and that can be done by worshipping Him and praising Him, getting in His word and just giving Him your trust, knowing that in all good time He will restore your dreams to you. But in the meantime, press into Him more. Don't let the devil through you into a tailspinand steal your joy. I hope you take this note for it's intention. Wow, if she's really such a bad friend, you shouldn't be such good friends with her then. I mean, you may want her to have her Scriptures down and all that, but at the same time, it's best to have friends that can help YOU become a better Christian and a better person, in general. If your friend is disallowing for that to happen, you should reconsider your friendship. Of course, you should still be "there" for her and everything, but as close friendship goes....hmm...maybe not? :) Take care!

Just thought I'd drop you a note... I don't know what to say and it probably won't encourage of comfort you but what's stopping me from trying? Gods Word is so precious - and some people just don't care and they disrespect it ... that is their choice, and although we may find it hurtful - it's facts of humanity... a lot of people have to much resentment and hate inside of them to ever imagine what life would be like learning on the Word of God. So when people are like, all we can do is lead by example instead of ramming scripture down their throats, y'know? So yea.... peace to you, keep being strong. You're doing OK, Emily, and God will reward you - if not on earth, then in Heaven.

Hi Emily. Yes it has been a while since you updated. But at least you've updated today! :) Sad to hear that you've been grounded. :( Hopefully you can still update your diary. If you can't well just tell your Mum that Jonathan wants Emily to update her diary everyday ok! lol like your Mum will even care! Anyways, you know, your grades are good. It doesn't matter if you get an A, B, or a C grade, as long as you've tried your best in everything. I believe that if you've given it your best shot at a subject and got a C, that grade is better than getting an A when you haven't tried your best at all. So as long as you've tried your best, then you have suceeded. Failure is when and only when you decide to give up, and quit altogether. It is NOT when you get a C grade! Not all of Lamentations is that bad! lol there's this verse that might encourage you that I found in Lamentations 3:22, 23. I won't write it in here so that you can go and check it out youself, or you can just go to my encouragement page in my extras and find it there. Well hope you don't stay grounded for very long. I just read your diary entry ..... Next time you pray for a Word from God when you're reading your Bible - don't let it just *fall* onto a page and then read that page .... read it. Search it. Read several pages in several books - read all the references, etc .... and if you're feeling sucky, read one of David's psalms, they always lift me up! xx

Those verses were actually meant for anyone who was feeling a bit discouraged and the people I listed were just some that I found who were a bit down from reading their diaries, so it was written to encourage you as much as it was written to encourage them! That is so sad about how school has been treating you. You are not what people may say to you, you are beautiful, on the inside and on the outside and remember that God looks at the heart, but mankind looks only at the outside. I bet you have a heart of gold and also look like a princess on the outside. Don't listen to the put-downs that others may say to you, you are who you are because God created you that way. hey. no, I definitely didn't think you were lecturing me or anything, don't worry about it. About your diary and the links not working, just go into the edit your template part and fix the links. Where it says <a href="http://members.diaryland.com/edit/notes.phtml?user=%%USERNAME%%">notes</a>, change the %%USERNAME%% with simply teen4jesus. No % things or anything, just your username. God is going to protect your family through everything, no matter how big it seems.
