Clammyyyy! I miss those days haha. When we actually wanted jobs instead of crucially needing them. 6 Flags is a must this summer I can't wait. I'll gnaw off my left arm for gas money. I'm sorry I can't make it to your grad party, I'll be in Minneapolis for the weekend. Really bad timing seriously, I'm also missing one of my all time favorite bands that's coming from England to do a few shows on the east coast and I'll be gone for the Massachusetts and New York shows. Of course they're skipping CT... But we'll do fun stuff this summer when all I'll have to do is work and hopefully have money to spare for fun stuff. I just pulled 3 allnighters in a row to finish my finals before the studios close so I'm pretty tired and delirious right now. But call me soon we'll figure out something cool to do once the whirlwind of finals is over at last! We'll go bug Powell and draw some beautiful murals for him. lol, I'm having my 21st birthday in a country where the legal drinking age is 20. Whoops. XD; Not that it really matters to me, since I have no intention of drinking anyway. :P To answer your facebook event question - I put the 21st because that's the earliest possible day that I can do anything; I won't even be in New York until 10pm on the 20th. But I think the general verdict is that we're going to try to get together on the 22nd. HAHA the only friend I've made in Japan is from Rhode Island. It's a small world after all. :P

Yup, I'm going to be home from December 20th (at night) to January 8th. Megan suggested December 22nd for the get-together because she's going to be in Canada after that. Not sure about Nikki; probably would be most reliable to get a hold of her via facebook, which begs the question: should we just make a facebook event out of this? XD; I'm with you - I don't care what we're doing as long as I get to see you guys. I know it's kind of like, I don't see you much during the year anyway, but being on the other side of the planet with a bunch of strangers and no familiar faces anywhere makes me miss you guys even more than usual. I've made friends here, but they're never the same. I still consider it an accomplishment that the lot of us have kept in touch for almost 3 years past high school already! If you want my help organizing people, I'll do what I can via the magic of the internet, lol. Just let me know! As for your most recent entry - I know how you feel, somewhat. My parents junked my station wagon while I've been in Japan, so I have no car anymore. Which I suppose is different for me, since I barely ever drove it anyway, but it was sentimental for me because that car was in my family for 13 years. XD; We moved from the old to the new house with it, we hauled our Christmas trees home on its roof, etc. etc. And the ONLY accident that poor piece of crap ever got into was when it was parked in my driveway and my sister's friend backed into it and knocked the bumper off. XD; But it's like losing a leg or something; you were connected to it for a long time and it was how you got everywhere. But it's lucky that you've got that other car for cheap that you can use. I'm not sure how I'm going to be getting around anymore. I know my sister won't let me use hers! XD;

I would've been having a conniption fit, so I can't blame you at all for freaking out and in tears in someone's driveway; I'd have done the exact same. I'm glad that girl from your work seems to have the right idea about being a decent human being. They DO exist! XD I certainly hope CT's retarded ice problem doesn't affect my plane landing on the 20th. I'll probably die if I get stuck circling an airport for 3 extra hours after a 14 hour flight. I'm very glad you're feeling better. *hug*hug*hug* I have to say, I got all teary last week when you sent me that facebook message about kidnapping me next year so there's no way I can miss the pumpkin-carving party. That means a lot to me, that you want me to be there bad enough to commit a felony. :P It's hard to stay cheerful here when all the people I care about are so far away. I'm hugely looking forward to our reunion when I come back next May. :D To refer to your most recent entry, though, I don't think it's too odd for you to feel so strongly towards your cats. When you have a pet, you basically adopt them as part of your family. They may not speak English, but they do communicate, sometimes better than people. So I can totally understand why losing them hurts so much. There's definitely something wrong with people who run over animals for shits and giggles, though. If I hit an animal with my car (god forbid), I would be pulled over on the side of the road sobbing. If I found out whose it was I would go apologize in full, if only so the owner could know where to direct their anger. But these people with no remorse... I don't get that at all. :(

Fuck, Clam, I'm SO sorry this happened to you. I wish I could be there right now to give you a big hug. I know you and I don't hang out very often, but I still consider you among my best friends, and to hear about you getting hurt like this makes me feel awful for you. I've never felt quite as close to my pets as some people; I suspect I'm the type of person who doesn't want to get attached to them for just the reason that you're suffering from now. But when we found out a couple years ago that Sadie (our Doberman; dunno if you ever saw her) had bone cancer, my first coherent thought was, "Dogs can get cancer? What the fuck?" :/ I realized she meant a lot more to me than I thought she had, and I basically wasted my time that I could've spent with her. I guess what I'm getting at is that your cats were very lucky to have a friend like you who cared so deeply about them. Their lives may have been short, but those cats were well-loved. So while I know it's impossible for you not to feel sad and not to miss them, I do think you should at least take comfort in the fact that they didn't live terrible lives. *big hugs* I'm sorry I couldn't be at the party; I'm glad that the others could be there with you, though. about the whole god thing...I totally agree with you. When we found Jeff and that guy came over to try and make me feel better. (He was some church dude)he was like "imagine a light, it can be any color you want. what color is this light?" at that point I was already mad at him for talking to me because I just wasn't up for playing games but later on when he asked me what this light was and I said I didn't know...because what the fuck is a light?? seriously? a light's a light! He was like "could it be the light of god?" I couldn't even talk. I wanted to punch him in the face. I just found my fucking friend dead and he wants to talk to me about how awesome god is. fuck him! I told him no because I don't beleive in god. I told him it was the light of hope...hoping jeff would still be able to make it...even though I was almost positive he wouldn't...and that stupid crap ball twisted my words and was like "ah yes, the light of hope and god."

Hey I know just how you feel I always think that everyone hates me and that I am insane (I only think I am insane when people tell me I am)but, I think of it this way maybe people do hate me and maybe I am insane but if people don't accept me the way I am then they aren't worth even wasting my time on so to hell with the people who hate me ^_^

I got off the phone with you and they said, "What did you do THIS time?!" and I said, "Excuse me, but I just talked someone out of commiting suicide, and I'd like to go to bed now." and they got all mad and said, "What the hell did you say that made her want to die?!" and I just sort of ignored them. Hey. Eh maybe you guys can resolve it. I used to have pointless fights like that too when I was younger and I was always too proud to say sorry or at least talk it over. But now I have realized that my pride isn't as important as my friends. I say sorry when it's my fault, half my fault and even when it's pretty much my friends fault. I think you and "Tina" (was that her code name? I forget.) should try to fix things between the two of you even if it does mean looking like an idiot.
That's funny that they call you clam. I wish I were a clam. Then I wouldn't be able to talk. That's a hip nickname. approved.
