I'm a well-read progressive blogger. I'm looking to make a list of lefty Diaryland bloggers. If you can help me out feel free to leave a note.
from thirdeye7601 :
What is wrong with the Bush family? They are just so freaking niave, or just plain stupid. Ugh, thanks for the nice comment on my "secret" page! ;) I always appreciate your comments! They are ALWAYS so nice and uplifting!
from bexx :
interesting.....-BeXx
from boxx9000 :
Nero fiddled while Rome burned. Bush strums a guitar while New Orleans drowns. Any similarities?????

My Dad did time in a mental hospital because he thought god was talking to him. People who think god is talking to them are certifiable and need therapy.
from kestra :
Wow, that's great news on both counts. How did you get them to dismiss the case? Was it just by paying the rent? Did the tenants in the NY house leave or pay up? Oh yeah, and I'm telling you, the too poor to buy food diet has always worked great for me too! When I was first separated, I was so poor that I got down to 110-115 lbs, which has been my lowest weight in all of my adult years. Of course now that finances aren't so bad, I'm having to show self-restraint... oh man, so apparently it's not all about having the right metabolism, it has to do with how much food you eat! ;-)
from ruachadonai :
I absolutely agree with you about the tv today.
from kestra :
Don't you love hate mail? It gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside when you know that there are people out there dumber than you. I am kidding. :-) The thing that makes me wonder is that these people say the same thing over and over again: don't you support our TROOPS?! Blah! It's the same old propoganda to keep the President and Congress from ever having to answer for their distortions that have lead us to War in Iraq while ignoring countries like Iran, North Korea, and other countries that have since expressed a desire for nuclear proliferation - AND from ignoring the gradual downfall of the U.S's infrastructure, especially now that China is starting to eclipse our demand for the world's oil. Any stupid debate that they can come up with, they'll use to get the attention off of the genuine problems facing our country! Ignorance is bliss, and there's a lot of happy people in America these days, I think. But pretty soon, certain issues will be hard to ignore anymore. Want to ignore global warming? Well, it will become a problem eventually. That's when we'll start worrying about problems... when they reach a crisis proportion. It's nothing new - it's just the same old song and dance we've always done before. *ahem* /end rant ;-)
from dooki :
By the way, I'm sending you a banner. Sorry I didn't reply earlier, but I've been harrassing the guys to send me an img src to give to you. I'll get it to you in the next couple of days. Thanks in advance for wanting to post it on your page!!!

That's actually a very good idea, turning off the TV. God forbid if Blue's Clues is off for a moment, no matter how much they appear not to be watching it. That one's getting a try tonight. Thanks.

You find the BEST pictures. The one of GW Bush with his fists and that silly face of his. It reminds me of those NUN doll puppets you can buy that boXx. And.....who would his opponent be? I can think of an annoying Diary Lander here that would make a great puppet to BoXx. (hehehehe) I'm sorry to hear about your job. I left a note for your wife. Do you know of a site for creating action figure dolls?

Iraq is the beginning, not the end. We are in a race against time.

I love that picture of the George Monkey, too bad the cymbols don't clang. The shifty eyes remind me of a Felix Cat clock.
from boxx9000 :
I saw a great bumper sticker today and I thought of you. it said, "When Clinton lied, nobody died" GREAT, huh? I've been to Iran. My HS sweetheart was Iranian. We were married for 5 years. Back then we called them PERSIAN. Now Iranian is a hated word. So sad.
from boxx9000 :
nEo- THANKS for the flowers, that was very sweet of you.
from bedazzledman :
merry new year to ya. i abso-fuckin-loootly LOVE your writings. i'm not a big fan of 'conspiracy theorists' generally - all too often they do tend to lean towards the lunatic edge... (which aint always a bad thing) - however - you've always come across as a rational (and exceptional) individual... thing is - how the fuck do you find the time to lead a 'normal' life & devote so much time to your passionate research? i have no idea who you are, how old you are, what job you do, etcetcetc... this is of course completely unimportant - when compared to the HUGE content and thought processes that you devote towards maintaining this blog. the fact that you do spend so much time & effort intellectualising amazes me. it humbles me. i know you arent doing this for public acclaim - and that you will certainly hate this kind of message - as you certainly don't need your ego stroked... but... fucking hell... you are somewhat wasted in this capacity... the thoughts you have should be visable to a wider audience... i'm sure that percentage wise - some of the things you report upon could arguably be determined as 'excessive' - but i applaud your attempt to disempower the global bullshit pushed at the public by sleazy politicians... i'm not sure how others feel - but reading your blog has become an essential part of my daily need to shout "NO" (simplistic huh) at the sheer scale of crap we recieve from the politcal right-wing extremests that are filling our world with their ignorance & deliberate social manipulation. basically - i wish you all the fucking best for 2005 - and please please keep it up... i know you are completely unstable & need constant medical attention - but hey - i'm happy to follow you... haha. ok. time to shut up... best wishes!
from ruachadonai :
Nope, not about you. It's a New Year, remember? :)
from dooki :
Thanks...hahaha. Did you read the entry before the Doodie picture? It's more "theyknew" worthy. Good and angry. You might need to pop an extra Paxil for that political paranoia. By the way, you're not alone. I've lost several hours of sleep over our current state.

from mammas-pills :
Just wanted wish you a happy holiday. Don't usually do that...thought this year I would coax out the Christmas spirt...although, unfortunately christianity hasn't been all that good this year with its moral high horse running amok in America. Oh well, maybe someday the loud ones will shut up and maybe pay attention to what Jesus actually taught instead of perpetuating their own ignorant fears. So, yeah...happy holidays! its wonderful that you are having such important visitors, it really is. hopefully they will take the time to talk to you and relieve your concerns. maybe they will even ask you to accept some kind of medal for 'services rendered to the country'? and please - don't get all shy when they do, after all - a country needs heroes - and i'm sure mr bush himself would be proud to shake you by the hand. bless him.
from at13oclock :
What is this world comming to? What is wrong with gays and lesbians? George Orwell was right: we are monitered, tracked, and researched on without our knowledge. There are banned/blacklisted books, movies, and music. I'm on the blacklist myself! Is this the world we want to raise our children in?!
from bedazzledman :
hmmm... as birds are pretty much touted as direct ancestors of the dinosaurs - maybe that's how they snuffed it? we don’t need no stinkin asteroids senior, or WW3. Just a Flu outbreak. I think I should get a posthumous award for my theory…

I have two kids - 4 and 8. If it came down to the difference between them cutting themselves (when they are obviously unstable and a genuine danger to themselves) and getting hit with 50,000 volts, I'll take the 50,000 volts. And my daughter would be only so lucky to get away with such a gentle punishment if I found out she'd been out drinking and swimming when she should have been in school.

Why is it that George W. Bush won by the largest landslide ever and it seems like the country was so split on this? I think the election should at least have been a close election. Something just feels out of place about all of this.
from sassers :
What a great MLKJ quote. Sigh. I just feel so...dispondent.
from zforce :
Hey- the Pilot here again (yes I knew FDR knew by the way. "MAGIC" was the name of our crypt decoding computer of mid 30's design). Like I tried to get across in my note (but it seems that it didn't come out that way at all), I have no support for either Bush or Kerry. I was just wondering your take on the "october surprise" by Public enemy #1. OBL in a recent release of a tape bashes Bush and Cheney for fraud and Halliburton and a myriad of other stuff. What I do not underatand Does Osama bin Laden want Bush out, or Does he want to show support for the Kerry Campaign? In either case, this is an amazingly unexpected political move from possibly the most loved/hated man on the planet. Your take?
from at13oclock :

You know what I wonder? I wonder if Donald Rumsfeld was "Schwartzkopf" in the making. You think he cries to sleep thinking about what "could have been"? TWO MORE DAYS!!! I'm in Texas and I'm friggin' loving it. Oh, the Republicans are so scared. Here's something you may not know...in the lovely state of Tejas, a Republican Evangelist group started a petition to indict Kerry for fraudulent behavior. If he wins the election, they will CECEDE FROM THE US. Are you serious? Are you fucking kidding me? Let's not even get started on the fraudulent behavior of your American Sweetheart, George Bush. I hate Texas. Can't wait to vote. I'm adding you to my favorites. YAY.

Before, you come here and try to disuade me or anyone else..Seek further and cross check everything....Start eith Operation Northwoods and go from there..... nEo
from zforce :
With all due respect, You might just be the most paranoid man in the history of the world. I know bush is not the best (or worst) president in history, but the man did not CONDONE any hijackings, much less allow the hijackers to kill 3000+ people. I am a pilot for the US Army. I was flying in NYC airspace in a small cessna when the second plane flew UNDER me about 6 miles south of the towers. I know from being a pilot that you are never to put anyone's life in danger if there is any way to avoid it. Man, it was anti-American extremists, not Bush. That would be like you allowing the execution of your family just so you could get your face on the news. It just dosen't pass the common sense test. I knew a lot of people from Cantor-Fitzgerald, all gone now. Bush isn't the guy who killed them. I know that you need answers to your questions of loss (as I have also) But you have directed your efforts into trying to make political sense out of a personally unavoidable trajedy. Think realistically- How can a guy condone the deaths of thousands of people just for kicks? I may not love the guy, but I know that he is American enough to have senseless killing be incompatible with his set of morals. Keep Fighting, but make sure you're not fighting the wrong people. Peace is not given, but fought and won. The world has known this for millenia . . .

from alpenglow :
i'd like to know how the hell idiots like you show off your ignorance so well. government intelligence gets various threats and subtle warnings of danger every day without truly palpable evidence to produce action. if we acted on every threat, we would never rest. and tell me this: IF we had acted on these threats prior to 9/11, where the hell would bush be? hated by all the anti-war idiots here in america for "killing innocent lives" and in bad regards with just about every other country on this earth for a declaration of war against a seemingly-docile group of individuals who had yet to really do anything at all. and where would he have started in the first place? should he have just bombed the entire middle-east and attacked every israeli here in the united states? come on. i speak to people like you every day and all i want to do is throw up on your feet. what would you have done? exactly what bush did. and just in case you bring up the regular come-back for your type and say "well what about all the innocent american lives that were lost??" here's my reply: A.] world trade center lives lost - i know people that died. though i am sorry for it, they began the war and therefore gave bush a reason to give us all a piece of revenge by killing most of the bastards. B.] our armed forces lives lost - they volunteered for the job and knew what was at stake when they committed. they died for a noble cause, knowing it might happen. i don't feel like typing any more, but i just wanted you to know that you all should really find a new hobby outside of bashing your own country's fight in this war on terrorism. we could always hand everybody a flower, smile, and walk off if you like...but then again, you know we'd get shot if we turn our backs on them. and we won't do that because NOW, my dear example of ignorance, we DO have palpable evidence. now we know, and now we are doing something about it.
from eowynne :
Thanks... I deleted the entry itself but kept the words because I had some other things to do with the site and I wanted that to be my index page until I write again, but I didn't get around to it until now. So it's back up. Thanks again for the note - it helped.

from eowynne :
Those are all just questions and of course I've heard them all before. The thing you have missed are the answers. Accusing someone of something is one thing. And something like 9/11 happens so fast, you don't know what you're supposed to do, and often, looking back in hindsight, you then see that you could have done things better. But I think your accusations are a little harsh and undersupported, personally, and I'll leave it at that.

from eowynne :
Give me the reference, please. (Just to let you know: I'm not being smart-alecky, I just really DO want to know where that is found!) No one would plan that. And to say that they would is insanity. Go ahead and laugh at me. Do you really think I care? No, actually, I expected you to laugh. And go ahead and make fun of me in front of all your followers. I try to be friendly and to be at peace with everyone, regardless of what they believe and whatnot, but if they are rude and insulting, why should I care what they think of me? And yes, I actually DO read. That's all I feel like saying for now, since I know you'll just overanalyze that too.
from theyknew :
hey....:) anyway...do you *read* my diary* or assume? Coming out and attemtping to inteprete my stance is amusing especially when you are quite off. And yes, I do feel that our govt. was complacent and knew about 9-11. Think on this, Bush's rating was 41% on 9-10-01 on 9-14-01 it was 80%. Look up the burning of the Reichtagh in 1939. "Fear creates Patriotism", As far as Kerry being the Antichrist? Doesnt the bible state he or she will be from the Roman Decent? And since Bush and Kerry are related(in case you didn't know)would that make Bush, the Antichrist's cousin?? nEo
from theyknew :
Wow....
from eowynne :
What I don't get is how you can think that just because you were in the WTC on 9/11 that the government must have had something to do with the attacks. I think it's ridiculous that you think the government planned this all - like they wanted to kill us or something. If people stopped listening to liberally biased things, looked for the good in people, and stopped being insistant that just because their guy isn't in office, the current president must be plotting to destroy the world - maybe there wouldn't be so much hate in the world. I read your entries even tho they're incredibly ridiculous and you don't cross-check or cross-reference anything, except between affliated anti-Bush sites. I hate it when people don't like someone and when they can't find real facts, they make up stuff. Just look at Kerry. He does it all the time. If he gets into office, I'm going to be sure he's the antichrist because only the antichrist could fool so many people regardless of his stupidity. So there's what I've been wanting to say for a long, long time. You can lash out at me like the rest of them if you want. But don't expect me to reply. I've been getting enough drivel lately from different people to make me not want to write anymore.

The Bush Administration... the new politically correct racists.
from mammas-pills :
What is the Capitol Hill Blue Staff...just trying to get a fix of where this info is coming from...scary stuff. And not surprising.
from poetophelia :
i really enjoy your diary as well as the links. this is the time we should be talking to one another and letting it be known that we will stand for no more manipulation. i look forward to reading more.
from hamiltonian :
If Saddam does not make it to trial I will be very skepitical as to why he does not. The Bush administrations neo-cnservative war cabinet would love for him to die before trial. Here is a parting quote: "The government was set to protect man from criminals -- and the Constitution was written to protect man from the government. The Bill of Rights was not directed against private citizens, but against the government -- as an explicit declaration that individual rights supersede any public or social power." -- Ayn Rand
from hamiltonian :
I loved the Moore-O'Reilly debate!

fyi, THE hINCKLEY, BUSH FAMILY CONNECTION WAS NOT LDS BUT RATHER JOHN HINCKLEY'S FAMILY, THE SAME JOHN HINCKLY WHO TRIED TO KILL RONALD REAGAN.
from kkapowski :
your banner caught my eye when i was Logging into diaryLand the other day. it said bush-hinkLey famiLy. is the bush famiLy reLated to the Lds hinkeLy famiLy? i am from utah (and not a mormon) and i thought it wouLd be quite hiLarious if two of the biggest Liars in the worLd were reLated.
from absinthesigh :
If Bush attacks/goes to war with every country the "hijackers" were allowed to live in and pass through then he has to attack/go to war with the U.S. too.. oh wait... he already has! Silly me. Thanks for your wonderful diary. with love, ophelia
from jetblacklife :

from optimystic6 :
I was wondering if from now on, you can post the author(s) and source of the articles you post? That way, people can verify things for themselves.

from owndecadence :
Wow, I guess I'm not the only one out there on D-land who knows about this stuff... thank you.
from optimystic6 :
We must not allow the elections to be postponed. After 9/11, Americans prided themselves on their ability to go on being American despite terrorism. Remember all that "America open for business" and "If you give up, the terrorists have won" stuff? But apparently, there's a double standard when it comes to the vital institution of elections. Postponing the elections will be the most dangerous precedent of all. In the name of "security", it will only be a few more steps till democracy itself is abolished as a security risk.
from optimystic6 :
I can follow the evidence showing the anthrax thing was framed... but I'm not quite ready to believe Bin Laden wasn't connected with 9-11. Do you have more evidence to back that up? From what I understand (and correct me if I'm wrong), he explicitly took credit for the attack. And I'm sure that he at least supported it.
from chocochipw :
I never thought I would discover underground truth on diaryland.com! Hah, wait, I don't think I have. I'm sure it inspires 15 year old kids in the same way Fahrenheit 911 appeases the masses.
from chocochipw :
ahem, intelligence? why should you be trusted over any other authority? because you're persuasive. I think not. A love-sick teen with political aspirations.
from theparadise :
I enjoy your diary and willingness to try and bring some information to this website. Thanks.
from jabbatehslut :
I'm off to cower in a dark cave.
from theascension :
You people are fucking geniuses. Thank you for adding a bit of intelligence to this land of love-sick tweens.
from pandionna :
I can't wait to read your thoughts on the 911 Commission's findings that Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with Al Qaeda concerning those attacks--or much of anything else, for that matter.
from pandionna :
Isn't it ridiculous? It's really just a way of trying to cover their own butts. This way, if something happens, they can say they warned people. As for an attack happening before the election, those terrorists would have to be STUPID to do that if they mean to throw George Bush out, because Americans generally don't ditch presidents in the middle of a major crisis. If they want Kerry in there, they'll leave everything alone, because George Bush's approval ratings are slipping, one disillusioned voter at a time.
from liar-by-rote :
you raise a very good question - How Do They Know? i live on the island Manhattan and take the subway every day. if i smell chemicals or see someone (like every homeboy?) wearing a heavy jacket when it's hot out, i will RUN. nutty news. what do chemicals smell like? it can't be any worse than subway stench. you have an interesting blog.
from pandionna :
I don't know what to make of that. I really don't. Whatever the truth is, I hope it comes out. And now I have to go throw up from that little clip. Thank god there's no audio. I heard that was the worst part. There are things even I don't need to see or hear, and the way my co-worker described that poor man's cry of shocked anguish before they cut his vocal cords, no, I'd hear it for the rest of my life, like my co-worker says he will. War breeds savagery. It's proof that we really haven't evolved much at all.
from candoor :
you are saying things some people might call paranoid (and many of them would know because they are paranoid), but you are saying things a lot of people are thinking because it makes too much sense. Scary world.
from curejeff :
yeah, i think you're crazy.
from pandionna :
Look at IKSS's entry from yesterday. They even lied about who detained him.
from erica8378 :
5/14 - That was the first thing I thought when I saw that picture a few days ago. "Those guys look American" They're too white, too fat. You look at it and you read the caption and your mind says, "wait, something's not quite right".
from pandionna :
Yep. I was walking along this morning and when I looked down to the sidewalk, there they were, scattered about, feet up, dead and crunchy. And I SWORE I wouldn't be here for the next time when this happened last time...
from pandionna :
Sending folks to you for the Rush stuff. I could slap the taste out of that man's mouth right now. WHAT AN ASS!
from surrealgrrl :
what can i say? your diary kicks ass! thanks.
from liltexas101 :
Wow! I can't believe that club is doing that! How incredibly awful. In my lifetime, if it does become global, I'll be scared! I don't any kind of creditcard/ID INSIDE me. How freaky. Thanks for posting this. I'll be checking this place regularly. Love
