I just wanted to extend my condolences in your loss. I lost my grandmother to terminal cancer two years ago as of Jan 14th. I've never gone through anything more painful... she and I were very close. All I could do was sit on her bed and stare at all the things she would never touch and all the things we would never do together again. It was strange though, because I'd been expecting it for so long that I couldn't cry. I missed her so much, but I knew that she wasn't hurting anymore. It wasn't until her funeral that I let myself go. It wasn't like I didn't WANT to cry... I just couldn't. And I think that it's perfectly normal. Sometimes you're just completely cried out and you have to grieve without the tears. I won't lie- it's still hard. But as long as you give yourself time to grieve, it will get easier. My deepest sympathies.
