my email address is msmelmahler @ gmail.com please delete this note. Thanks very much
from autumnrein :
Hey there, Beth! I'm so sorry! Yes, of course you can still read it. I sent the password to your mission address. :-) -Andrea
from melodymetuka :
Might I have the password?
from melodymetuka :
Oops, maybe I should clarify by 'ready' I meant ready to eat some solid food - NOT ready to be weaned, or eat only solids or anything like that. You probably figured that out but I hate to leave something like that even a little bit ambiguous. Gleep, I'm talking and I can't shut up! ;-)
from melodymetuka :
Gdwrestling is hard work. I watched Joan of Arcadia and loved it, mostly. The representation of the C-WHY (for Cosmic What-Have-You), or creator, call it what you will, was mostly very reassuring for me, and spot on in my experience - even if I don't have actual two-way conversations. On a different note, when D2 started solid foods it was because she snatched a bit off of my plate while she sat on my lap during supper. Dr. said that when they take the food themselves they are ready. I really loved that dr.
from autumnrein :
Have you ever watched the tv series called "Joan of Arcadia"? It's an old series. Mom and I bought the first season like five years ago out of boredom and we have finally started watching it this week. It is such a heartwarming series. I think you and your husband both would enjoy it. :-) -Andrea
from melodymetuka :
I don't seem to have said 'hi,' and nice to meet you. "Hi there, nice to meet you!" :-)
from melodymetuka :
I used cloth diapers as well, but when moving house we switched to disposables after one week of hauling dirty cloth diapers around. ;-) Unfortunately, that was how we first found out about D2's allergies - and we had to special order all cotton disposable diapers from a hospital supply from then on. ... IM (not-so-humble) O, cotton diapers are unquestionably and strongly better for baby. Good on you.
from autumnrein :
Hey there Beth:-) Thank you for your kind note. And I'm so thrilled to hear you are married and have a baby! I've missed quite a lot! I went to read your journal, but nothing's coming up. It's just a green screen. Problem with the template? You know I remember you helping me a long time ago with putting links in my diary. I still have the html code for when I need it again. :-) -Andrea
from invisibledon :
Thanks for adding me.
from swimmmer72 :
Hi Beth! If you can get me your email addy, I'll send you a key! :)
from autumnrein :
Hey Beth. I was wondering where you moved to. Do you still have a diaryland journal? -Andrea
from winterspell :
Oh great! So did it turn out to be a good book???? I'd say Nancy Drew is on the list!-hehe So...Should I take Thisismywish off the list and add On-a-string? Or should I keep thisismywish on? -Andrea
from winterspell :
Thank you Beth!:-)
from chapter3 :
:) I registered as an Independent in 2004, and kind of rooted around and saw what I thought about politics, and I've pretty much discovered that they're all backwards. Our senator misappropriated $43,000 (a Republican) and they've had all sorts of money *issues* but then you have Democrats driving drunk and cheating on their wives and it's like.. um. I'll just do my part and stay out of it. lol
from chapter3 :
I'm a registered Independent at the voting office. I'm tired of the damn Democrats.. what a bunch of pushovers. :(
from breatheasigh :
ain't love grand :)
from breatheasigh :
yay for someone who knows what i mean about tim [email protected] are the best aren't they :) hey the prize for whoever guessed was a packet of timt@ms ;o)..very happy to read about you and pk..i wish you guys all the best sweet girl..
from fightn4life :
I am so happy for you...so blasted happy. :) Sandyz
from mugwhump :
Just remember what I told you, and never let a day go by. Relax, be yourself, and enjoy. :-) Blessings - LJ
from winterspell :
I adore you as well Beth. You are awesome. Thank you for your prayers.-Andrea
from chapter3 :
how's your Easter?
from breatheasigh :
thank you beth :)..and congrats on the new you ..hope you are smiling more now :)
from breatheasigh :
a very special friend once said to me *be responsible for you own actions/reactions and not those of other peoples* hugs
from fightn4life :
I have been meaning to tell you my heart aches for your down ward spiral you seem to going through. Hang in there, your faith is strong and the Lord will help lift you up again. Don't take on guilt that doesn't belong to you. You are an awesome young woman with much to offer the world, never forget that. Sandyz
from danddteacher :
Don't let him guilt you into doing something you know isn't right for you. I'm praying for you, sweetie...
from mugwhump :
I started praying for my husband 15 years before meeting him. And then once I had met him, and we'd begun ... something ... there wasn't a day that went by that I didn't lay him before the Lord. I always asked "Lord, if T is not the one, please close this door before my heart goes any further." I chose to give T up to God, and God gave him right back. But that was because T was God's choice for me. Only between you and God, can you truly figure out who is the right person for you. God bless!
from myownjourney :
Hey Beth. I'm a little shocked myself. But you know, its okay to make sure the guy your with is they guy your supposed to be with... Take care of yourself Ms. Bethinator.
from hamiltonian :
my journal is locked due to well if want password let me know...
from mugwhump :
I like this new look. Simple yet very elegant and sophisticated. (did I spell that right?).
from chapter3 :
Sorry for the not-noting stuff lately. I've had one heck of a flu and it's just now starting to ease up on me. Still feels like I got kicked in the stomach though. grr. still in providence? I love how things feel a little more effortless around those certain people. ;) lol
from magicaleyes :
Hi Beth... No i don't have the pink stuff... I am on a bunch of meds though, and it seems to be working fine now. I feel better today. Thanks for asking :)
from winterspell :
Hello my dear Beth. I am sorry I have not been updating. I just...am afraid I am too busy to be here anymore, and I have also sorta become bored with the computer. I think I have...well..I know I have finally moved on from this chapter in my life. I'll be around in some shape or form, I'm sure. But...I just have other things in my life that i need to tend to. You are the greatest diaryland buddy ever and I love you dearly. Thank you so much for everything! And just so that you know, the word "good-bye" does not exist in my personal dictionary-hehe. God Bless you Beth. Always, Andrea
from fightn4life :
It's ok to be flighty at times; this is an awesome time in your life. Ride the wave and enjoy, don't ask too many questions of yourself. Breathe in youth and smile just because you are you. Special you know. Sandyz
from fightn4life :
"How does it happen"...doors open doors close, this is life. Awesome it is. :) Sandyz
from breatheasigh :
sorry you are not feeling well..my son has been suffering from migraines since he was about 5..thankfully now he only gets about 5 or 6 a year as opposed to 2 or 3 a month..hope you get it all sorted and on the way to feeling better :)
from myownjourney :
I'm sorry your feeling that pain Beth. Get to a doctor and get better. ok?
from chapter3 :
hehe. Thanks for the notes, and now I ask a question, if you feel comfortable answering, that is - where do your migraines come from? My mom used to get them so bad that she would cry also.
from myownjourney :
Ahh, sweet Beth. I don't think your too young or too immature. I think, like alot of us, its all about finding the right one... I on the ohter hand, am way too immature... :)
from mugwhump :
Don't let anyone ever tell you your dreams are silly or unimportant. If it wasn't for dreams we wouldn't have cars, televisions, pencil. Some one somewhere had to take a gift from God and run with it. You dream here all you want!
from chapter3 :
Hi, um, I don't think emo fits on you. And that is a compliment, dear. :) lol
from hamiltonian :
Ha! Time is a psychological concept! Gotcha! There is only action! HA! Okay I will calm down ... Fear is not love and certianly not freedom. Fear creates a possesive love that is not free. Accept that love is unconditional true and free. I rest my case..
from hamiltonian :
I second that you will most likely asap delete it.
from hamiltonian :
Fear and love are incompatible. I emailed you email me feedback. You probably wont like it...
from breatheasigh :
i have and have had similar fears to you..the whole love thing? well it is scary but should be embraced with open arms no matter how much we may get hurt because each relationship is an experience..no matter how good or bad...i remember in an old diary when i was going through alot of heartache with my ex bf i wrote something along the lines of "i've always said that LOVE is an emotional rollercoaster of which we all want to ride on..INLOVE is the emotional rollercoaster of which only some of us have the strength to be able to hold on too when the ride gets rough"..i think alot of us fear fear itself..i read once that fear = False Evidence Appearing Real..and remember..it's not brave if you're not scared :)
from hamiltonian :
I finally wrote an entry but will not post it on my journal. Let me know via email if you want it though its probably far too spiritually as well as politically radical for your journal. If you have any desire for my guest entry let me know but please via email. I may lock hamiltonian as I have done with most of the entries already.
from sevaliwen :
Hehe, kid. I love how when I read your entries 95% of the time they end in, "I needa call Lacee!" Lol. That makes me feel so special =D I love you Bethy boo! -Your smurf
from winterspell :
Yay!!!! You and Dena are FINALLY noting each other!!-hehehe. I was wondering WHEN you guys were gonna get around to doing that-lol. Have a good night Beth! -Andrea
from magicaleyes :
Hi Beth! Good news about Bo!! Yeah i really likes Just Like Heaven... It was very cute. And I love Reese also... In Her Shoes was ok... I thought it was funny cuz Cameron reminded me exactly of one of my friends! Take care!!
from fightn4life :
I am so glad you are moving on with an open mind. So much we don't know about situations it is hard not to get caught up with rumors. I am sure your mom felt special you talking with her about feelings, it a mom's place to want to comfort a hurting heart. I understand being afraid of your granddads death, no matter how much faith we have, we are still in the flesh and much on this earth still frighten us. It's ok to be you, you're beautiful just the way you are. Sandyz
from swimmmer72 :
this was the 2nd time i was asked it this week, but yes, to answer your question, there are at least 4 or 5 pictures of me scattered somewhere in my diary. maybe i'll just post one all over again so people don't have to hunt for it. :)
from winterspell :
You are not sheltered at all. I only know older movies because I had time to watch them back then. (and my mother had some influence on it too-lol) Now I couldn't tell you what the newest movie is. I haven't really watched tv in about 5 years because that's when I got this computer-lol. Its taken the place of the tv I think. Two of a Kind is an old movie, but it is a good movie. Made back in the 80's I believe. Oh, and Beth...everything works out for the best. That's the way it works when you are a follower of christ:-) I learned that today in my chapter of Purpose Driven Life. Have a good night! -Andrea
from fightn4life :
So many prayers are heading your way. My prayer for you is Gods will. I do know what it is like to break up with someone you may always love even if life takes you on separate paths. Time will heal, no matter what the outcome brings. Faith and trust will be your refuge. {{{{{hugs}}}}}Sandyz
from myownjourney :
Hey Ms. Beth. love the layout, cool pictures, the hat is "da bomb".... am I allowed to say, "da bomb"?
from swimmmer72 :
beth, your page isn't loading. there is something that says "loading 0%". will it load if i wait long enough?
from winterspell :
no, no. Olivia Newton John sang that song a long time ago. It's actually apart of Two of a Kind's soundtrack with her and John Travolta. Kind of a cute movie if ever you want to see it:-) -Andrea
from eowyn86 :
I love the slide-show picture thingie - that was awesomely cool! And you don't look bad in pictures, you look pretty - so there :-)
from danddteacher :
Thanks for sharing the pics - and that scar looks nasty!
from chapter3 :
I love Franz Ferdinand. Especially their second album, it's marvelous.
from danddteacher :
In that picture you remind me of a girl I used to work at camp with... *S* I hope all is well in Bethyland!
from winterspell :
Haaa. Yes, you most definitely recieve the "love" award. And yes...that is exactly what i meant. You are in love with love-hehe. My best friend, Amanda, is the same way. I admire you guys:-) -Andrea
from chapter3 :
You're so welcome Bethy. I don't have to "meet" you necessarily to know I believe in ya. Well I'll be at work tomorrow so if I don't talk to you tomorrow that's why. lotsa <3, jason
from winterspell :
I thought you would like it:-) You will always be in love, won't you? I think that is wonderful. It was just a song that I heard on the radio. I like the girl's voice. She's so different sounding. -Andrea
from chapter3 :
But in 43 minutes, your day will be at long last over. Keep your head up cause we're pulling for you. Loves, Jason
from chapter3 :
Feelings caught up to me and I had to release them :) It happens.
from winterspell :
Hey there Beth! How are ya? Hey, I was wondering if you would like to finish up Runaway Jury. I am on Spring Break and I have ...a little bit of extra time-hehe. I believe i am on chapter 14. Wanna give it a go? I really want to finish this book so that we can start Nancy Drew!-lol. Let me know. Hope you are doing well. -Andrea
from breatheasigh :
sorry! i'm not sure what happened there, i did put in the <a's and /a>'s but the links did not work, could you fix them please? thank you :)
from chapter3 :
are you still on msn? my messages aren't sending to you properly... :(
from chapter3 :
GONZAGA!! WOO
from mugwhump :
When it happens - it might not be a "knight in Shinning armour", but if he doesn't lay down his coat in a puddle for you (figuratively of course) he's not the right guy. I promise you that.
from hamiltonian :
I've been ill (still am actually) and will eb back online as soon as possible.
from h2ophobic :
Oh, my little Beth. I'm so sorry for you and your bruised heart. You'll be in my prayers.
from breatheasigh :
hey i just noticed you are allowing me to do a guest entry! not sure how long it has been there for lol..i would love to and will do in the next couple of nights..thank you :)
from chapter3 :
Love the Michelle Branch lyrics. "Goodbye To You." She's a gifted and beautiful woman.
from danddteacher :
If Bo was as wonderful as he was and he wasn't the one, can you imagine how amazing the one is who God has planned for you?
from fightn4life :
Sorry I didn't get the link right. Still learning. Sigh... Sandyz
from chapter3 :
Earlier I got the itch to write notes. hehe. I know how that is. So I've officially scratched it. ahhhh. relief. :P I don't eat, I flick at other drivers on the road who drive too aggressively, or passively. grrr. :)
from winterspell :
I am sorry it had to turn out that way. But I think it was good that you saw it first hand. No rumors or hearing it from someone else. You saw it with your own eyes this time. So...what's this about a new guy? The secret one? And how was your time with Lacee? -Andrea
from breatheasigh :
you're welcome :)
from hamiltonian :
I don't see how the abortion issue need be a political one, if anything that bings only ignorance to the situation.
from breatheasigh :
aww i am so sorry beth..you deserve so much better and he does not deserve you..i know it hurts and i know this sounds very cliche..but someday..somewhere..someone will stumble across your path and you will appreciate them so much because of the heartache you have been through..you are a beautiful woman...hugs
from the-moo :
oh no no no no I'm such a complete IDIOT.. I filled out your survey.. which was lovely by the way - but it was because somebody filled out my survey but they had no notes section and I wanted to thank them for filling mine out so I searched for surveys they had made (because the person said in their diary they'd made some) but actually found one he'd filled IN instead of one he'd made so PLEASE don't be confused by the last comment in the survey.. I am so stupid!! I'm sorry! nice to meet you anyway xxx
from magicaleyes :
Hi Beth, you are on my buddy list! I look forward to reading your journal :) Andrea tells me you're a wonderful person!
from eowyn86 :
Have a great trip! I hope it's fun and adventurous, and that you can work things out for the better :-)
from fightn4life :
Hi Beth, my new page is up and running and I LOVE it. There is a special entry for you. Have a wonderful trip. Sandyz
from winterspell :
You are a wonderful friend. I hope you have an excellent time on your trip, be prepared to write a long, "tell all about it" entry when you get back:-) -Andrea
from fightn4life :
I hope you have a wonderful & safe trip, and I am so glad you have enjoyed working on that new page. ;) Sandyz
from sevaliwen :
Ok= yes.. running away, sounds good. Can I bring Chevy? Oh and my new babies? Well.. should take the moms and how about Moo? Oh.. if Moo comes LG has to come and we can't leave Kacey and Kata.. they'd miss me to much.. Hahahah, oops guess we can't run away. =D
from sevaliwen :
just (as you know) really bad day
from sevaliwen :
Hey I didn't know until a moment ago that Lanni did that layout you have up. At first I didn't care for it but now I adore it Lol. She is so awesome. OK, on that note I shall return to my stupid Shakespear. -Love me
from winterspell :
Hey there! I will definitely do that. Feel free to note her as well. The comments link doesn't work yet, but you can note her through her profile. Thanks so much Beth! -Andrea
from winterspell :
You can do yoga. You don't have to really take classes or anything. Or if you want to...most studios offer a free class your first time just so you can see what it's like, then use books to help teach you the rest. It is excellent for your health...especically for someone who may have back problems:-) -Andrea
from icyjewel :
Beth, I *heart* you! Congrats on your 444th entry. :-)
from breatheasigh :
i hope you slept well and woke with a breath of freshness and inspiration :)
from winterspell :
Congrats on your 444th!!!!-Andrea
from winterspell :
Hey, if ever you should come to Ohio, (Which I can't imagine why you would-lol) drop me an email and we'll go shopping! -Andrea
from sevaliwen :
I love being your best friend. Heheh, hey dudette! wanna go lay in the grass and rain and dark with me when you come? =D =D
from winterspell :
P.S. I can't wait to hear about your visits with your boyfriend and best friend! That is exciting-hehe
from winterspell :
Haaaa, awe, thank you Beth! It's all in how we percieve the world. It's your choice. You can see your life as being dull, or you can see it as being exciting and adventurous. Guess which one I choose:-) Life to me is like a book. There's gotta be excitement in it in order for me to read it...or ....live it:-) -Andrea
from danddteacher :
I'm so glad that you get to go see them soon. This is just what you need!
from chapter3 :
that is wonderful!
from winterspell :
Hehe. Hmmm...I honestly don't know if he could be a tentative beau. I really think we are just too busy. I can't really say at this point. I am hoping that we can just be friends to start out with. I'll keep you posted:=) Have a good night! -Andrea
from sevaliwen :
Thanks Beth. Uh. Thats Hot. haha, just kidding love ya kid you know how to cheer me up. =)
from breatheasigh :

from winterspell :
Thank you Beth!
from breatheasigh :
congratulations on the site :) hope you are having a nice weekend..mines just about over :( ..oh well..another day at work means another dollar :)
from danddteacher :
I have always gotten giddy over palindromes. Roadtrips are fun because I get to see how many I can get on my odometer. And I have a friend that I hardly ever call but I have her phone number memorized because it's a palindrome!
from spiffy- :
oh, and i'm glad you liked my photography and my diary :) your diary is great too, i'll read more when i get more time.
from spiffy- :
yeah, i got your email, i've just been a bit busy. and yes, i used to raise cavies. i also used to raise rabbits too... mini rex rabbits. they were great, i miss them.
from chapter3 :
I got ya on now. I'm doing okay. Some good, some bad. Not tired but I have to wake up for work in 9 hours.
from chapter3 :
Bethy, you have msn? You should get on my list. [email protected]. <3
from mugwhump :
I think I've had a week of Wrong Wrong side of the bed. I keep hoping tomorrow will be different. It will - be positive - Tomorrow WILL be good!
from winterspell :
Yes, I sometimes relate what i have gone through with Leowna to you and Lacee. The only thing is I doubt Leowna and I will ever be close friends again. Too much has been said, ya know? But we changed each other I think for the better. I really do. I am glad she was my friend for that time. I love hearing about you and Lacee. It is why I have her journal on my list as well. I learn from you guys:-) -Andrea
from winterspell :
Beth you have no idea how much that note meant to me. Sometimes I get a little self conscious because I feel like I write too much. But you just made me feel 100% better. You always make my day Beth. You are wonderful. -Andrea
from mugwhump :
I'm a dolt - truly. I'd like to e-mail you a story I was e-mailed today. It ties in beautifully with your entry. However, I didn't keep you e-mail address. DOH! Would you e-mail it too me - again. Please. I promise to keep in on file. Really I do.
from mugwhump :
At least we don't get seriously old overnight. God is gracious to us in that way.
from winterspell :
Guten Abend meine Freundin!-lol Oh how I just love foreign languages. ...now I just completely forgot what I was going to say....hmmm. Oh well-lol. I think our minds are like computers. They can only hold so much and then they go kapput. For those of us who think a lot (ie store a lot of info in our computers) have to have a way to "recycle" all that stuff-lol. Writing for me is relaxing. And I don't feel alone. It's nice to know that there are people way on the other side of the country listening and reading. As far as writing in my book journal....lets just say I have an imaginary friend-haaaa. Have a blessed night Beth:-) -Andrea
from winterspell :
You have no idea how wonderful it makes me feel to know that I am not the only one addicted-lol.
from impetuousme :
well if becka's gonna come in and read all over you, than i sure don't wanna miss out.. can i have the goods too, pretty please? [email protected].
from breatheasigh :
i made it..thank you for the password and letting me peek in on your life :) i'll be adding you as well..have a great day x
from winterspell :
Yay! Thank you for the first note! I knew you would be the first:-) You know, it's wierd, but when ever you update your journal, my buddy list doesn't light up. It did that with my old journals too. Now if I clicked on the the buddy list your diary would be highlighted in red, but I would never know that if I hadn't clicked. Strange. Anyways. Have a good day! Your friend, Andrea
from spiffy- :
i liked your entry in ricky's diary. can i read yours too?
from winterspell :
Beth, I am so glad to hear that you and Bo worked everything out! I am so happy for you! I love your new template, too. -Andrea
from myownjourney :
Thanks Bethinator! And posting twice is no big deal. I do it all the time. I wnet ahead an deleted the first one. Thanks again for doing that.
from breatheasigh :
hi :) great entry in ricky's diary..i did try and read you last week but noticed you were locked..can i come in please?
from danddteacher :
Oh, Beth, I'm so sorry you had such a rough week. I know things won't feel right again for a long time, but I hope this week is better.
from chapter3 :
Ladybugs are cute. The end. :)
from thehoneypot :
i believe a ladybug is good luck
from icyjewel :
*hugs hugs hugs hugs* I still love you Beth!! Keep your chin up, you will get through this. *more hugs* You are more independent and strong than you know.
from mckushla :
Hello Beth:-) Lent begins on Ash Wednesday which is March 1rst. There are different things you can do. You can give something up that you value. (A lot of people give up the TV or candy.) Or you can do something that you know you should be doing. It is a time when you reflect on all the things that you have and haven't done. -Andrea
from hamiltonian :
Okay I foolishly forget to tell you that I re-sent the email, so it should be there ready for your eyes Bethy.
from hamiltonian :
I sent you an email entitled "love". While I am not asking you to reply, I am asking you to read it in its entirety with an open yet clear mind.
from hamiltonian :
Did you ever read that email I sent you on the subject of love?
from eowyn86 :
I'm glad you got something from that quote as well - it's a wonderful thought, and sometimes hard to swallow at the same time. But I really feel for you, and I hope that God will show you the correct path to take, and whether reconciliation will work or not. *HUGS*
from swimmmer72 :
re: courage. and you will be a better person for it! be strong and have faith! :)
from h2ophobic :
Dear little Bethy, I'm so sorry to hear about Bo. I'm not going to give you some silly advice, like you're better off without him. Or that you should just forget him and move on. That type of betrayal HURTS. You probably won't feel better today. Or tomorrow. But maybe a little bit the day after that. You are such an AWESOME girl, it makes me very sad that Bo missed out on knowing that. There are so many people that love you. Many of us will probably never meet you face to face this side of heaven. But, we love you all the same. HUGS from Montana!
from chapter3 :
I could tell from your word choice that you aren't quite at 100%, so I was keeping you in my thoughts :) Yeah. Valentine's is the worst. I've been single for 19 of my 20 V'Days. Rawr.
from chapter3 :
God bless you.
from hamiltonian :
Clear your mind of all questions and thoughts, release them. Sit back..relax and feel the blessing of each breath! You will be alright...
from mckushla :
Beth, I...don't know what to say. I'm really very very sorry about Bo. -Andrea
from myownjourney :
Just in case you want to make a guest entry for me sometime in the next week, you can. You don't have to but if you do, feel free to write about whatever you want too. :) Be Well, Ms. Beth of the Norwester.
from hamiltonian :
Just because he "cheated" why are you writing a break-up letter?
from danddteacher :
He cheated on you? Are you sure? Is there some way you can talk with him about this instead of just writing a break up letter? I'm sorry, sweetie...
from swimmmer72 :
are you sure? make sure your information is right, especially if you didn't hear it from him, and even then, give him a chance to explain. you have a right to be angry, if he did, and while i hope it's a misunderstanding, you do what you have to do. i'm sorry to hear this, beth.
from chapter3 :
hi Beth! I know you're not having a good holiday. I'm not either. But we will be fine under God's watch. I'm not giving up on that. But this day.. yeah it'll suck. lol
from thehoneypot :
happy valentines day *hug*
from myownjourney :
Happy Valentines Day
from swimmmer72 :
you used to live near seattle, right? where are you living now?
from autumnrein :
Beth, thank you so much for that wonderful note. Something extraordinary happened last night. Leowna and I talked and everything is wonderful now. I think that friendships can come in different packages. They don't all have to be the same shape, size and color, if you know what I mean. You are right. Online friendships are neat. You are a good friend. I will still be here. I don't know how often I will write, but I will defintely be around, and I will definitely continue to read your wonderful journals. And as soon as things with the MCAT are overwith I will finish Runaway Jury. I really want to start on those Nancy Drew books-lol. I'm such a dork. Thank you for everything Beth, and a Happy Early Valentines Day to you. -Andrea
from mckushla :
Beth, thank you very much for the comment on your profile. I'm so sorry I haven't been around. As you can read from my journal, I've been on hiatus for a little while. I am glad to see that you and the others have not done the same. Hope you are well. -Andrea
from hamiltonian :
Bethoven! Ludwig van Beethoven was deaf...
from hamiltonian :
That means you and yoru family are free to do other things. As for your mother call someone who knows someone. things can work out for the best with a clear mind and focus.
from danddteacher :
Only people with good social connections should be in the musical? WHAT ON EARTH IS THAT ABOUT?!?! That makes absolutely no sense!
from mugwhump :
Becareful, and don't go quitting everything in your life. Although, on days like today ... I wish I could just say to heck with it and I quit. Can I? Can I please???
from thehoneypot :
the only thing girls should have to do on valentines day is be apprecative *smile* ... now sadie hawkins day, thats a different story .. heehee
from sevaliwen :
ohh, that does fit you so well hun! I think your Bo Fro is the sweetest, most thoughtful blonde-fro-d guy in all parallel universes.
from hamiltonian :
Okay just curious because I went to take it and I must have looked in the wrong place.
from mugwhump :
I'm back. Thanks.
from hamiltonian :
You paid $5 for that ?
from mugwhump :
You can either use the "contact" at the upper left of my page. Or ljducharme at shaw dot ca
from mugwhump :
Thanks for the note. I'm glad you like the new glasses, and THANK YOU for the 'eyes' comment. Blush, blush! Can I continue to read you? You're all locked up. Please send me an e-mail. I hope everything is ok.
from danddteacher :
I've often thought that I'd be willing to pay someone for a good layout, one that I thought was really "me" (I'm never quite happy with the ones I find), but I don't know that I trust anyone. YOU, my dear, I'd trust to do that. *S*
from hamiltonian :
It is when you start making them for yourself. A proper parents raises there children to be able to separate in a healthy manner.
from hamiltonian :
As I always state... clear the mind.
from thehoneypot :
i made it here ,, thanks ,, sometimes people can be really inconsideate about time .. and they always just seem to be late .. you they are going to be late dropping off the child and YUP they are going to be late picking up there kid too
from hamiltonian :
Those dumb break-ups? Well it can also be a lack of understanding of how two people can communicate properly. Just a pointer...
from chapter3 :
Thank you :) that was a sad event. I really do appreciate the note. much love, Jason
from chapter3 :
Thanks for the entry idea :P
from eowyn86 :

from thehoneypot :
i dont know how to ger email on my profile i dont think i have that option can you email me at [email protected] plz
from thehoneypot :
yikes ... your locked
from h2ophobic :
I understand your need to lock your diary. I've had readers in the past that knew me in real life. It's hard...you find yourself worrying and either NOT writing something because of how they'll react or writing something for them. I always enjoy your entries...really, isn't that all that matters? ;-)
from hamiltonian :
I am working on the netry though wil;l finish another for hamiltonian first. if i feel it tonight I will complete it. Just keep checking your email as I am doing my best to leave most of the constraversial subjects in hamiltonian. Though if you have any pspecifics the I do take requests.
from sevaliwen :
their* and lives* needed to be corrected hahhaha
from sevaliwen :
Aw Boo, If I had the money I would buy you your own home and pay to send you and your Bo Fro to a country that allowed.. uh Blonde Fro boys to marry Bethy Boo's at this stage in there life.. uh, ya Hahhaha (reading between my lines? =D)And I wouldn't pay out of pitty. I would pay because I wanted to hehe. Man, can't wait to get a coffee with you kiddo.. that darn brownie thing has been haunting me all day long.
from hamiltonian :
Post beth that your journal is locked and go by leaving notes if possible for your buddies. thanks for the email..
from hamiltonian :
In your list you described the known. How about the unknown?
from mugwhump :
You locked us out. Did we say something wrong?
from hamiltonian :
Your journal is locked?
from hamiltonian :
Will start working on it...
from sevaliwen :
Hahhaha, I like your version of girl all the bad guys want. I am so gonna have matty (my wonderful cousin) download that song for me =D AND DUH! Who'd you think was gonna plan my wedding even though I have every last detail already done! =D (I am so having a Christmas wedding!)
from chapter3 :
aw, good morning. How are you? I'm listening to satellite radio. Therefore, life is good.
from chapter3 :
Glad you liked it :) I must have written that like, 3 different times. haha.
from h2ophobic :
It's been awhile since I told you this...I "heart" you!
from chapter3 :
Any good? That was extremely challenging :P
from chapter3 :
okay, but what's your email? I think I lost everybody's.
from chapter3 :
It'd be funny, I think.
from chapter3 :
ya ! in that case, why don't I just write an entry as you anyway? Actually, I don't know if I'd echo you that closely or not but I could try it.
from sevaliwen :
oh, I so totally love your new made up word deary!
from chapter3 :
By switching places with you, would I acquire knowledge of those different songs, and would you automatically get knowledge of service desk policy? :P
from sevaliwen :
Its so my song atm hehe =)
from chapter3 :
okay! lol.
from chapter3 :
I absolutely don't mean to offend, but it'd be really strange to change bodies and be a girl. It'd take forever to get used to! Bethy, it's so easy to be a guy. It doesn't get any easier than this :P
from chapter3 :
Yeah :P you can work for me for a day and I can lounge for a day and be neutral. hehe.
from chapter3 :
aww.. I'll trade you!
from swimmmer72 :
you are one conflicted girl!!! could you possibly explain that? :)
from chapter3 :
Neutral is a good word :) My day is full of work work and more work.. and no commas apparently. hehe.
from chapter3 :
I'm doing .. pretty..uh.. neutral. How are you?
from chapter3 :
:) Or to break the monotony, I could always get that matching tattoo with you! It'll work itself out in time though. Much love, Jason
from icyjewel :
Here's to hoping that you feel better soon. The flu sucks!
from thehoneypot :
im here in new york could i be the only NY reader???
from mckushla :
Just let me know when you'd like me to do it:-)
from mckushla :
I'd love to do an entry for you sometime. Is your illness the common cold illness or is it something....more? Love, Andrea
from chapter3 :
hehe. Well I just got home from work an hour ago, and I already have just a few hours before I go there again. I guess I got the main idea of what you're up to from your diary, but yeah how about Seattle in the Super Bowl? Are you as excited as me, even if you don't like football or whatever, I mean, it's Seattle!! woot. talk to you soon, Jason
from chapter3 :
Hey Bethy, what's goin on!! I'm tired!! <3 Jason
from mckushla :
whatcha mean "guest entry"? Everything alright? Normally people do that when they are going away for a long period of time. That's why I'm asking. -Andrea
from hamiltonian :
ME!!!!!!! I want to ghost write your journal!
from mckushla :
I hope you are alright. Write when you find out why your leg is swollen. Your middle name is Lynn? Mine too. It is also my mother's first name. -Andrea
from mugwhump :
Love the new look, but I am concerned about you not feeling well. Do what Hamiltonian says - and get it looked at. Only safe way to venture!
from hamiltonian :
Beth get your leg checked out and if you have any serious reason to even conteplate that your leg has a problem concerning your blood then GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM NOW! I am a strong believer in homeopathic medicine and doctors so please take your vitamins! As for long-distance relationships if you are going to do that it is something I would not want anyone to do. Why? because i am involved in one for past 5 1/2 years. I know success and failure in it as well as everything one could possibly need to know. If you want a real sincere understanding then email me so you handle it better. If I come across as arrogant about it is because I have a deeper understanding on this issue.
from evababy777 :
just noticed your comment re: my locked status. sorry it's taken so long for me to get this to you! username: tinaturner, pw: rose29bud. have a great weekend!
from hamiltonian :
A Rabbi, A Hindu and a Lawyer A Rabbi, a Hindu and a lawyer were driving late at night in the country when their car expired. They set out to find help, and came to a farmhouse. When they knocked at the door, the farmer explained that he had only two beds, and one of the three had to sleep in the barn with the animals. The three quickly agreed. The Rabbi said he would sleep in the barn and let the other two have the beds. Ten minutes after the Rabbi left, there was a knock on the bedroom door. The Rabbi entered exclaiming, "I can't sleep in the barn; there is a pig in there. It's against my religion to sleep in the same room with a pig!" The Hindu said HE would sleep in the barn, as he had no religious problem with pigs. However, about five minutes later, the Hindu burst through the bedroom door saying, "There's a COW in the barn! I can't sleep in the same room as a cow! It's against my religion!"The lawyer, anxious to get to sleep, said he'd go to the barn, as he had no problem sleeping with animals. In two minutes, the bedroom door burst open and the pig and the cow entered...

Just seemed right .... my instincts only.
from chapter3 :
hi Bethy! I love Peanuts. Best. Comic. Ever. :)
from hamiltonian :
Luminous is this mind, brightly shining, but it is colored by the attachments that visit it. This unlearned people do not really understand, and so do not cultivate the mind. Luminous is this mind, brightly shining, and it is free of the attachments that visit it. This the noble follower of the way really understands; so for them there is cultivation of the mind. -Anguttara Nikaya
from h2ophobic :
Did I miss something? I know I'm usually still half asleep when I'm here, but I think I would have remembered if you'd mentioned getting MARRIED!?
from myownjourney :
So does this mean your engaged now?
from myownjourney :
Ms. Beth of the bethinators, I have to disagree with hamiltonian, entirely on pricnipal because he left three of the same note. You should write a novel without worrying about style or whatnot. And Calvin and Hobbes rocks!
from chapter3 :
You're exactly right. It feels exciting. The last time I talked to them was in 1998, which seems like eons ago. Thanks for the note! :) Did you know "note" derives from the French "les notes," meaning "no one understands French" ?
from hamiltonian :
I have to disagree with below. Don't try! It is all about focus. Check out completely different forms and styles of writing and keep the elements of style handy. In the end it is just like life and that is to focus. That is all you need for anything anytime anywhere. Lets discuss this further perhaps in a continual email discussion? If not I will know if you do not email me.

just start writing. let the story line come to you, but try and develop a theme of some sort. try and think ahead a couple chapters, but if a bright idea comes to you, go with it. work with the things that you know, and research the things you don't. if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. and have fun with it!! good luck. :)
from h2ophobic :
Now, THAT was a beautiful memorial! You're such a sweetheart. I'm very glad that I know you!
from myownjourney :
Hey, Howdy right back at ya! :)
from sevaliwen :
annoying stuff. I wish I could turn my brain off sometimes.
from mckushla :
Yes! My birthday is on the 18th. I'll be 21. Not...that that really means anything to me except that I'm legal-lol. -Andrea
from mckushla :
Whew. Oh good. I am glad you are only on chapter 2. I didn't want to make you read a book that you didn't like. Really, it does get better. Take your time. Let me know when you are caught up! Thank you! You're the best! -Andrea
from mckushla :
Hey. What chapter are you on in the book? Cause I'm finding it rather interesting! I'm on chapter 11. Maybe it's just because I don't know anything about Jury duty and what all goes on and stuff. (shrugs) I'll admit I did find it rather slow for the first 5 chapters, but suddenly things started happening that are kinda weird-lol. Let me know where you are so I don't just...blow the whole book for you-lol. -Andrea
from mckushla :
Hey there! Welcome back. The book is a little slow at first, but I think it is actually beginning to pick up. I am on chapter 11. Lets read another 10 chapters this week. How 'bout it? And then....this is going to sound really corny, but you know, I have only read the older versions of the Nancy Drew series. They were my mom's. I've never read the new ones. Would you perhaps want to read those next?-hehe Let me know. Take care! Love, Andrea
from mckushla :
See you when you get back. I'll pray for you and your grandfather. -Andrea P.S. I love that song.
from icyjewel :
Great pictures, Beth. You are beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I hope all is going good with you. :-)
from h2ophobic :
14th thing about Beth: She's one of Carolyn's favorite reads!
from chapter3 :
thank you!
from chapter3 :
I go to a job interview early and straight to regular work at 10:00. I think I'm going to sleep soon, but yeah, if I don't write back have a GREAT day!!!
from chapter3 :
I'm doing okay, trying not to think of how early I'm waking up tomorrow. Needing sleep but not tired. meh. how about you?
from chapter3 :
Oh, cause I was giving you a mission to regain your skills, so it was like giving Zelda a quest. I know, I know. I have no idea what's going on in my head either :)
from chapter3 :
aw. Maybe one day, you shall regain your reading skills!! (zelda sword pose)
from chapter3 :
Haha!! I should have typed "thanks for noteing or note-ing so you could see it easier. :P silly Bethy. Loves.
from myownjourney :
Your a beautiful girl Beth and you do have a great smile. - Ricky
from mckushla :
Beth I LOVE your pictures! Thanks so much for posting them. It is nice to place a name with a face, ya know? You have a nice smile, course I figured that. Like I said, you are bright on both the inside and out. -Andrea
from swimmmer72 :
you take GREAT pictures, including yourself. you and your pets are all cuties! i'm sorry that you no longer have them to keep your spirits up.
from thehoneypot :
bad dreams are awful .. worse is your mind reeling like a movie and you cant fall asleep .. sometimes i have really tha really upset to sooo much... i call those dreams 'rude awakings'
from hamiltonian :
the answer you seek is found in the words you wrote....
from mckushla :
Do you want to start with 10 chapters a week? I know that's really slow, but school is just really hectic. If I feel I can read more I will let you know. I'm on the second chapter right now. I want to see the movie afterwards. I love Dustin Hoffman-lol. You should take piano lessons. I think you would love it:-) Have a good day! -Andrea
from h2ophobic :
That is the first song on my Ginny Owens CD. I sing it to myself a lot, when the world gets mean and ugly. Beautiful...
from chapter3 :
If only that were true, that they would help their kids along with the occasional (occasional!) tough love then it'd do wonders. Or if people stopped believing that yelling at their kids in the fast food restaurant is productive. Thanks for noting :) Jason
from danddteacher :
I've always loved that hymn.
from mckushla :
I got the Runaway Jury! I've started reading it:-) -Andrea
from thehoneypot :
im so sorry you got a weird meail form bo .. if you ever need or want to talk offline ..please feel free to email me at [email protected]
from mckushla :
Hi. Why did Bo's email upset you? What was wierd about it? Sorry I haven't been a very good diaryland buddy lately. After my piano lesson today I am going to go pick up that Runaway Jury book. Hope things are well with you. -Andrea
from chapter3 :
In the mass effort to not offend anybody, I guess they figure discipline is offensive to children. LOL.
from chapter3 :
Kids... always trying to decide if they want their "froot" in looped or pebbled form.
from thehoneypot :
sometimes the less that people yearn for ,, that more the appreciate those special things they get .. *smile*
from h2ophobic :
Thanks for your note. I grew up in a house with a porch swing. I spent HOURS just swinging back and forth. I'd give just about anything for a porch swing again...except our house doesn't have a porch. Maybe our next house will. Take care!
from hamiltonian :
I like the new design. Btw happy birthday Jesus it is January 6th!
from chapter3 :
Yes! I am not a big country/southern type of person, but I love me some Jeff Foxworthy. I'll open the bets on the finger race. Ring finger's been a bit inconsistent lately, but surged in the early stages of the week. I take index finger by 4-1 odds, and put ring finger at 12-1 odds.
from chapter3 :
Sorry I haven't written as many notes lately, I am trying harder to do so because I love hearing from you and sharing my own thoughts too. I think my index finger is winning the race, but not too sure yet, anyone can still win it!! :)
from mckushla :
Hello Beth. I am sorry I haven't been on. I did finish "The Partner" though:-) I am appalled at Eva. I simply can't believe that ending. I will have to see about getting that "Runaway Jury." I'll let you know when I pick it up. Probably around this weekend. I am very sorry about your Grandpa. Thank you for your wonderful notes. You are the best yourself:-) Love, Andrea
from sevaliwen :
Hey Kiddo, Sorry I didn't get back to you today. I was out of commision. I LOVE your new layout. Its beautiful like your self deary =) Miss you tons and I will yack at you tommorow. (After my doctors appt. Hahaha)
from chapter3 :
yeah I'm back home now :) There's good and bad about it but mostly, I'm happy. The only thing I don't like, I suppose, is the being quiet at night part. Hard to come back from a laid back setting to tiptoeing past my brother's room. hehe. Yeah I think my finger stopped growing, my pointer and ring finger are having a race now that I'm almost fully grown. I think the ring finger might have pulled it off. IT'S SEABISCUIT BY A NOSE! ... whoops ... <3
from hamiltonian :
another great entry.thank you for writing it
from eowyn86 :
Never say never. I'm sure you make plenty of good moves, it's just that when you realize you've made a bad one, you tend to second-guess all the rest. At least that's how it tends to work for me. But I know what you mean. Anyway, I had a great Christmas and I hope you did too (and a Happy New Year) :-)
from swimmmer72 :
everybody makes mistakes - that's how you learn. i'm betting you don't make nearly as many as you think you do. i like the new layout! :)
from sevaliwen :
"But lets talk about it Wouldnt it be nice" hehe, and thats for you my dear. Missed ya! Let me know when you're home!
from chapter3 :
Hey Bethy, well my holidays were great, even through the retail return season that I dealt with directly. Had a great Christmas and a fun New Year's party, and unlike some people I didn't need to get drunk to do it, lol. Today I had a growing pain in my ring finger. Hilarious :) How are you? happy 2006! - Jason <3
from icyjewel :
First off, I want to say that I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa. I hope you are doing ok. *hugs* Secondly, I hope that the New Year brings you tons of happiness and good things. You deserve it, Beth.
from hamiltonian :
I want you to hear an mp3 i will email it to you Beth as a way to remember your grandfather and also about life and death. Which email to send?
from chapter3 :
My love and prayers to you, Bethy.
from swimmmer72 :
i'm very sorry to hear about your grandfather. God Bless you both.
from myownjourney :
I'm so sorry for your loss Beth. My prayers are with you and your family.
from sevaliwen :
Hey you. It's pretty awesome what happens when you write a "real" entry Lol. Maybe I should do it more ofter. I just hate writing so personal. Anyways, I love you Bethy boo. You are the world to me.
from h2ophobic :
Merry, merry, merry Christmas! Thanks for all the moments of laughter and reminders of what FAITH is that you've brought into my life this year!
from mckushla :
Ooooo, "The Da Vinci Code?" That is a good book. I only was able to get through half of it though. I got caught up in exams and wasn't able to finish it. I hope to again someday. That book is so interesting. Yes, "The Client" sounds great. I haven't seen that movie either so it works out perfect. I shall get that one next. I hope to finish "The Partner" this weekend. Merry Christmas to you too! -Andrea
from sevaliwen :
"She was gonna be an actress she was gonna be a star..." What were our goofy childhood dreams? I don't remember either one of us wanting to be an actress or a star.. hmmm. Anyways, Hearts -Lace
from mckushla :
I'm getting there. Slowly but surely:-) I like John Grisham too. Maybe we could do a John Grisham book-club-hehe. (Man if he knew he'd just love us wouldn't he?-hehe) -Andrea
from thehoneypot :
happy happy birthday you feel like a saggie or capricorn?
from hamiltonian :
Another year to live, to observe, exist, feel and ... be
from mugwhump :
Have a most excellent special day! God Bless!
from myownjourney :
HEY! Happy Birthday!
from danddteacher :
Happy B-Day! How old?
from mckushla :
Just wanted to let you know that I am on chapter 34 of the Partner! I'm almost done. Only about 8 more chapters to read:-) -Andrea
from eowyn86 :
Hello to you too! I hope you have a great time 'birthday-ing' :-) I'm almost done school, so if you still want to have a race reading 'the Scarlet Letter' that would be cool 8-)
from mugwhump :
I write my previous 'note' come out and you've updated. Happy Birthday early if I don't get a chance to on the correct day!!!
from mugwhump :
I love the middle pale blue flowy dress. That's the one I would chose for you. The bottom one that you like has lovely colours, but ... it is a rare body type that carry that dress off. Even on that model she looks a little plump. I'm just trying to be honest. I'd hate for you to get out there and be dissappointed. Blessings,LJ
from mckushla :
Hello Beth. Hehe, yes, that little girl is me. Thank you for the compliment:-) -Andrea
from sevaliwen :
Sorry Bethy, I was gonna call you but colt was on compy then after that I had to finish my homework for tomorrow.. uhg sorry hun. Let me know when you get home though and I will call you soon as I check my email/notes! Miss you tons, can't wait to hear your updates =) -Love Lace
from chapter3 :
BEEP! hehe. It's for philosophy. I'm sure I've written about my problems with the professor, it's not something I like to discuss. He's such a spiritless, soulless man and it disgusts me. And it doesn't help that he's also chosen to fail me. (No one goes out of their way to give 2 consecutive 10% grades on essays.) Grr. Yes, good luck with the man though, life is always better when you have that somebody isn't it? duh-doo! you have mail.
from chapter3 :
LOL. me too, I get this little beep when someone sent an email or note to me. hehe. Anyways - you get to see your man again, that's so exciting! I hope that happens. I saw your entry on formal dress, obviously cause I commented on them. :) I've studied some for my exam and will look over the notes again soon, but now I have to think of where I can find an exam booklet without having to run to the bookstore and get to the test 5 minutes late. rawr.
from chapter3 :
Thanks. I think I'll do fine. I've got to if I want a respectable grade. What are you up to tonight?
from chapter3 :
Why, thank you. That would do me good right now, as I'm studying for an exam :)
from chapter3 :
Yeah, that last one = icky. :)
from mckushla :
Wow. You can make dresses? Jeez. That's awesome. ....you did scare me though when you said that you liked that one dress. I was just like..."uh..man her taste certainly isn't mine"-haaaa. -Andrea
from sevaliwen :
Oh. Ps. I like the blue one and I think it would even look good on you as is. =)
from sevaliwen :
Hahah. You did scare me hun. I was thinking "Okay.. picture this. It aint workin but if the girl likes it we'll try." Lol -Lace
from danddteacher :
You had me going for a minute there. I actually, "oh, poor Beth... she has no taste!" *LOL*
from mckushla :
Hehe. A Sandy Fan club. That sounds awesome. We are so funny.-haaa. I just love this bookclub. Great idea. -Andrea
from mckushla :
Hello Beth. The author is...Joshilyn Jackson. Let me know if they have it. I wouldn't check it out just yet though until I finish The Partner. (Unless you want to read ahead; that's certainly fine.) Thank you! -Andrea P.S. Here's the site to it if you'd like to take a look. http://joshilynjackson.com/gods.html
from mckushla :
Actually Beth, I do have a book request. I hope you don't mind. But one of my best friends has been wishing for me to read this book called "Gods in Alabama". Really, it doesn't sound all that appealing to me because I do not care for the south-hah. But she really wishes me to read it and I think it would help me if I had another person to read it with. Would you mind if we did that instead of Stephen King? -Andrea
from mckushla :
Absolutely! Stephen king sounds good. I'd like to read one that I haven't seen the movie on. -Andrea
from mckushla :
My grandmother loved those. She would read books from Dean Koontz, Robin Cook, Sydney Sheldon, Barbara....something, umm...and there's Patricia Cornwell as well (but you have to read hers in order starting with the first one.) I've read the first book of hers. It's a forensic novel. Umm...oh and there's Tom Clancy and James Patterson. All of which are very very good authors. -Andrea
from mckushla :
I am in the middle of Chapter 15. Half way through I believe. Sorry I am going so slow. I did not get a chance to read today because I was studying. But I will tomarrow! In the meantime, what kind of book would you like to read next? Like what style? Fantasy, Adventure, Suspense, history, etc etc. You pick. You have good taste in books! -Andrea
from mckushla :
What is the other John Grisham book that you have? We could read that one next. I can't believe you are done!!!! Who won the contest? You or Bo?:-) Goodnight! -Andrea
from mckushla :
You are so sweet. Thank you for the profile comment:-) -Andrea
from mugwhump :
You share your birthday with Jesus? How cool is that? Then again, does that mean you get ripped off by sharing your special day with such a huge holiday? Do you have any special traditions for your birthday to help seperate the two?
from thehoneypot :
hey beth... you are born on the cusp of saggie and capricorn.. which do you think you are?
from chapter3 :
Sure! :)
from chapter3 :
*Rummage* What should I get you.. hmm..
from mckushla :
Crap. I was being selfish and wasn't even thinking about where you were in the book! I hope I didn't give away anything! I am sure you are 5 chapters ahead of me though already.-lol Next time, I will ask where you are first before I say anything. -Andrea
from mckushla :
Haha, sorry! I wrote you a note before checking my own notes. I am on Chapter four. Fabulous book, isn't it? -Andrea
from sevaliwen :
That was my first thought. (that it had something to do with me lol) I hope everything is okay hun. I sure do miss you.
from chapter3 :
Oh, Bethy, why moping?
from chapter3 :
You're welcome, today.. geez. I don't know yet actually. hehe. I'm probably just going to bum around, I don't do that enough to be honest :) Maybe catch up on some reading for class later, I don't know. How about you, what are you doing?
from bethysadvice :
ITS DONE DUDE! GO CHECK IT OUT! It turned out so good Beth, I hope you like it. I love it. Everyone else, GO CHECK IT OUT! http://bethysadvice.diaryland.com/
from bethysadvice :
Oh oh, Yea I didn't think about that. We needa link for a Disclaimer. You can type it, you have a way with words ;) I will make the link right now so all ya have to do is add the entry. Lots of Love, -Me (Lace)
from bethysadvice :
I am glad you like it! Go ahead and start taking your questions, I'll post it on my blog and you can on yours (that your taking q-tions) I have a few more things I thought of. So we can open it tomorrow. I will get it done tonight =) Love you! And you're welcome for the fish. :P
from mckushla :
Beth! I got "The Partner"! I will begin reading it tonight! -Andrea
from hamiltonian :
I have been ill as of late and still am not at full strength. Dont have that book but can be on the outlook for it. Otherwise busy working on the mansion, getting it working as best I can as well as organizing/cleaning up.
from sevaliwen :
Hey you. This might cheer you up, http://bethysadvice.diaryland.com/ Merry Christmas! The user and Pass are my new favorite name that I was yelling when we crossed the streets. =) -Love Lace
from chapter3 :
That's not an easy situation, and I know I haven't found many ways to deal with it. I just try to immerse myself in something, anything, to make me forget about it for as long as I can. Unfortunately, that may not be much help. Cause nothing's more immersing than love. But anything helps more than nothing, right? :)
from myownjourney :
Hey Beth, just wanted to drop in and say hey... so hey. Hope all is well. Okay, take care.
from chapter3 :
My mommy said that's blackmail.
from chapter3 :
Third grade? lol. Time for coloring!!
from sevaliwen :
Lol, Yes Bethy you can do cool tricks.. A star means all the same things to me also. I can't tell you why I asked. It's a secret. I am getting ready to write an interesting entry (in like two seconds) so stay tuned. Lanni fixed my layout best buddy! -Love Lace (your kindred spirit.. or heart or friend)
from sevaliwen :
Wait! Not that your notes didn't have character uh.. but I bring, interesting typos! =D
from sevaliwen :
Hey hey Fred #65, Thanks for the image. I would say a star was my pick also. A star has a lot of deep meaning. Oh oh, I miss singing that with you to. (Debby just hit the wall, she never had it all.. blah blah.. husband a CPA...) Our car sing-ah-thons were fun. Oh what the heck, I miss all of our moments. MY LAYOUT IS FIXED! LANNI ROCKS =) -Love Lace (I bring character to your notes lol)
from icyjewel :
The Partner is awesome. John Grisham is my favorite author!! Let me know what you think when you are done. PS-Bo sure sounds like a sweetie. I'm glad things worked out. :-)
from chapter3 :
And of course, thanks for praying, Miss Mother Theresa :P
from chapter3 :
I mean in a friendly way, you know, in the way you said it to me. haha. I can't barely talk my way through that one :) Yeah being single is crappy, the only good thing is not having to worry about anyone else while you make decisions of what to do, where to go, etc. :) See ya soon! Jason
from chapter3 :
Hehe. Well, thank you Bethy! And in my own way I also love you. Everything should be fine, but I would still really like to not be single. lol. :) Jason
from sevaliwen :
I got a new goat, I got a new goat! Her name is "TC" she is so cute Bethy! I went from 10 to 7 to 8 in one week lol. Hahahha Love Lace
from sevaliwen :
I mean (are you talkin about the picture thing?) that if you could choose anything like a dog or a cross or a picture of grass to represent you what would you choose? Its for something. Yay! Thanks dude for fixing that stuff. You rock, and Bash is the big goat with horns. He has been picking on everyone and attacking grams and breaking stalls. Thanks for being behind me. Lol Goober
from mckushla :
P.S. Thank you for the recipe! I cannot wait to try it.
from mckushla :
Wow!!!! I did not know that! 100 entries!!! I can't believe I've written that many! I shall have to check my profile more often. -Andrea
from sevaliwen :
Okay I have a question for you deary. If you could have any image (picture) repersent you, What would it be? hehe =) (sign my notes and tell me) Love Lace
from mckushla :
Thank you for the note:-) My friend is dying, but she is strong and is accepting it. I am doing well with accepting it too...so far. John Grisham sounds wonderful. What two books do you have and I'll see about getting one of them? We just moved too!, but we are almost all unpacked. Have a good day! -Andrea
from chapter3 :
We could start a trend! Oh yes, Bethy, forehead tattoos for life! (2nd note)
from chapter3 :
Happy holidays to you too!!! I'm doing great and I hope that you are too, one day Amy just stopped talking to me abruptly and left me for a guy named Brad I'd later find out, I also saw a picture of him and I'm much handsomer, but I hold no grudges :)
from icyjewel :
Congrats on your eight month anniversary with Bo!
from thehoneypot :
hiya beth,, after sunset if you look to the east .. the bright red star is mars.. then look to the west.. the bright bright bright star is venus
from mckushla :
P.S. Remember a long time ago when you mentioned something about a recipe for chocolate fudge? I want it-hehe. Email me if you would! [email protected]
from mckushla :
Beth I'd love to do the book club with you! What book shall we read first?????? (is so excited.) I'm glad you like the layout! I worship the winter-lol. -Andrea
from chapter3 :
Well, ya know, I've been okay. Usually bored or working ... which is also boring, but I think things are definitely the best they've been in a while :)
from childofgaea :
hello. saw your diary and profile through Eowyn. Would love to have you visit my journal too. :) And would love to have another online friend...(.'_'.)
from chapter3 :
Congrats! I knew it could happen to you since we first began talking :) see you soon!
from mckushla :
I like the book club idea too, and I like it when you write entries without pre-thinking it. I need to do more of that myself. -Andrea
from hamiltonian :
I like the idea about the book club.
from chapter3 :
That's just the thing. I slept SO well, in fact, that I slept through 4 hours of work. I'm irresponsible and I'm messing up things, at least I'm not getting drunk and stuff though :P
from sevaliwen :
Yikes. I was reading some of my older entries. Sorry about some of them =(. I am really sorry hun. -Lace
from sevaliwen :
Hahah. I thought I was losing my mind because I knew I didn't tell you about that. Lol. Glad ya got my older entries to work! I am looking for a new layout right now to hopefully fix everything. over&out -Fred (smurf)
from sevaliwen :
Dude, I didn't think I told you about the advice thing hahah, how awesome. I think you would be really good at it hun. It could really do something. So ya want me to set it up? Sounds good. I email you later with more details. Love you! -Lace
from sevaliwen :
Hey you! Thanks for stopping by, I can't fix my older entries. =( I have tried to do everything but cant get them to work. I think I might have you get in here and fix them for me. Lol Okay, I will be expecting your email! ttyl hun -Lace
from danddteacher :
*hugs* I'm glad you're back, but WOW! That's a lot of changes for one short e-mail!
from chapter3 :
Bethy!!! :) :) :)
from swimmmer72 :
wow, i guess!!! well, sounds like all good things, so have a really happy thanksgiving! especially about the oboe.... ;)
from chapter3 :
I don't know what you will do, but I do know what you could do.. let the negative feelings flow from you, not destructively mind you, but put your energy into something until you don't have any energy left. Sleep. Drink lots of water. Once it's gone you'll be ready to go once again :) I dunno, just my humble opinion. <3 Jason
from thehoneypot :
i love the song over the rainbow and i still make wishes upon stars
from swimmmer72 :
it sounds like he hasn't been honest with you. i'm so sorry.
from thehoneypot :
im sorry .. give yourself time for healing .. losing him to your enemy makes you even more aware why you dislike her .. i have been in love a few time (im not sure if i know what love really is) .. you wll heal when you find another love .. dont go searching.. just wait for it to come (speaking from experience) ,, {{{{{{{hUg}}}}}}}}
from mckushla :
You will allow yourself to feel, but you will let him go. Love lets go. And moves on. -Andrea
from chapter3 :
Bethy!! You know this won't help any but if I were there this would be where we sit for coffee and such. But since that isn't possible at this time, let me know if I can be of any help. We love you. Jason
from danddteacher :
Oh, sweetie! I'm so sorry! *huge hugs*
from icyjewel :
You need the most huge ginormous *HUGS* right now. I'm so sorry, Beth. If I lived near you I'd totally be at your doorstep with a bunch of chocolate, chick flicks, tons of tissues, and a listening ear. *more hugs*
from hamiltonian :
it tis good that you write reguarly, i need to myself take note of this and apply it in my own life
from eowyn86 :
*humungous-mega-bear-hug* I'm so sorry to hear about that! I hope you two can work it out, but regardless I'll pray that God will comfort you.
from thehoneypot :

from danddteacher :

from myownjourney :
I'm sorry Beth. I hope you feel better soon.
from chapter3 :
no way! What happened? I'm sorry...
from swimmmer72 :
how'd that happen!!!??? things sounded so good!!! :(
from mugwhump :
About all I can do is send you a great big virtual hug. Keep your eyes focused upwards. >LJ
from thehoneypot :
life is hills and valleys... we try our best .. many times we cant be everything to everybody and that includes ourselves.. but just dont give yo trying,, ok ,, HUGs
from chapter3 :
Thank you for copying me! That was cool of you! I copied it... from... someone else... (silence)
from thehoneypot :
presents are nice.. wrapped pretty somthing you would really like but most of all .. the thought thats counts im glad you in great presence
from mckushla :
I got caught up on reading your diary. I am glad to see you are doing well. I read your diary Beth because you make me smile:-) -Andrea
from mckushla :
Beth!!!!! I'm back!!!!-lol. And I'm open!!! I'm so glad you are still writing. I've missed reading your journal. Things have just been....(shakes her head) wierd crazy lately. I shall have to update sometime soon. I have another journal too that you are welcome to read when the time comes. I have a good online friend that it's actually for, but...I think writing in two journals might be hard at times with my busy life. So just in case, here is the username: autumnrein. I cannot wait to start reading your diary again. I love your new layout:-) -Andrea
from chapter3 :
I got your mail, but it was later when I got it.
from chapter3 :
Look at your profile listing for me :P
from chapter3 :
Not much, ya know, just admiring my butterfly tattoo and hanging around the apartment, I am thinking about stuff and playing video games. ya know. :)
from chapter3 :
oh my... I do wish I know what that was like to hear someone say that for absolute real, congrats on that :) I'm still excited about your chances with him despite what may/may not be happening.
from chapter3 :
Once you pop, you can't stop. That's why I read. Once I got an idea of just who you are, then I care about what happens. Thus I read :)
from thehoneypot :
blogreading=sharing .. some tomes others can help you see things in a different was.. as light like mind travels through a prism.. many thoughts come out bent on the other side in many fasinateing colors
from sanetwin :
I LOVE your new layout!
from chapter3 :
Is that the first time he said it?
from chapter3 :
haha ur funni. :P just kidding, I know how to spell.
from mugwhump :
Don't just wake up in the morning with a smile on your face. Wake up and say "Good Mornin God!" and mean it. Then remember to ask "What have you been working on all night God? And how can I participate?" This will change your attitude for the day - I guarantee it! Blessings - LJ
from chapter3 :
I don't like generalizations, but I notice not many women like Seinfeld. The curly haired woman is Julia Louis-Dreyfus or "Elaine" on the show. She's so funny.. she was actually based on the writer Carol Leifer who helped make the show. Long story. Anyways, she's got a silly personality and is smarter than average. And I love baseball! Go Cubs! But White Sox will have to do this year...
from chapter3 :
I like it okay. Seinfeld is my favorite though :) Why don't you have a TV? I have one but I don't watch it terribly often except for days like today when there's baseball to be watched
from chapter3 :
It's all good :) Boise isn't very far from the time zone boundary. Only about 70 miles actually. Have you seen that episode of Frasier where they're trying to celebrate Y2K but they accidentally cross the time zone near Boise.. but then they have to turn around and get back to the Pacific Time Zone in time for it to turn 12:00 there so they can celebrate Y2K.. yeah.
from chapter3 :
If you live in Seattle still, we are in different time zones. In Boise it is 10:45 PM right now.
from chapter3 :
Just widen the column where the entry is, cause it's too skinny. I like the colors okay though. :)
from myownjourney :
I can't say I like too much... it's kind of hard to read (at least on my computer) and I'm not sure I like the colors. But other than that it's awesome. :)
from chapter3 :
That's okay, have I told you I was born as a blonde person? It stuck around mentally :)
from chapter3 :
Oh you're blogging ("pouring") about the bad things ("it") .. so pouring it all out. :) hehe. I've never been one for poetry so I was surprised to be called 'mister poet.'
from eowyn86 :
Happy 300th entry!!! That's quite a milestone, especially since you've made a lot at previous accounts too. Ugh, that Mailer Daemon annoys me too. It seems every time I do a mass-mailing of my address book I get 3 or 4 of those.
from chapter3 :
Sorry you're feeling bad, I'll read along and watch you pour it all out. Nothing interesting over here, just work work and work!!
from danddteacher :
We care about you! *hugs*
from chapter3 :
Oh I'm good, and how bout yourself!
from chapter3 :
Sorry! :( Um, try [email protected]. Both of those are my emails that I have different uses for but go ahead and see if it goes through to that one. Loves, Jason
from chapter3 :
I like all those names except Emma (ex girlfriend's name) hahaha
from icyjewel :
When the good outweighs the bad by that much, you have found a good catch. All relationships consist of compromise to an extent. I hope all is going well with your sweetie!!!
from mugwhump :
Thanks for your 'answers'. I gotta think on it before I answer you. And the Proclaimers (which I love too!) are either Irish or Scottish. It's all a part of the British Empire so I guess we can call it "close" to Canadian. :-)
from thehoneypot :
im not sure whats going on.. but i want to tell you that there are many long didtamce relationships that work.. many many .. think of our soliders or evem more navy .. where loved ones are gon for months and months and months ,, it can work .. have faith .. funny me saying to you have faith.. i know you do {hug}
from thehoneypot :
beth .. you are not stupid and not dumb either if your thinking that,, you are a very very sensitive girl .. searching,, i get the feeling that i seem to be searching forever ,, things will you out {{hug}}
from icyjewel :
What's wrong Beth? I hope you're ok. *hugs*
from myownjourney :
Hey there .......
from chapter3 :
what's wrong?
from mugwhump :
What an odd little quiz. Most of those would be very hard to answer, unless you knew the person very well. But if you're of an adventuresome mind today . . . give it a try. :-)LJ
from thehoneypot :
this looks like it will be interesting to see your thoughts of me (Carter) .. but in all fairness do i post what you see or i have to intrupet other people,, i would have a very difficult time doing that .. because i dont have near your intuitiveness
from chapter3 :
Nobody wants to have the unfortunate looking kid. Having to deal not only with raising your kid right but also dealing with their self esteem issues... it's like having 4 kids at once, really. I would really not like my kids to be like me, I'm too introverted and I think to raise my kids without giving them social experience is unhealthy. I have really had to battle to have a healthy social life and I'm still not quite there yet.
from chapter3 :
My mom says she was amazed at how quiet I was. I've always had a nondescript demeanor. I don't try to do too much (usually). I mean, there are some bratty kids now! I think it's cause they grow up expecting things to go their way, because parents usually fold up and let it happen.. so as it happens the kids have no choice but to live their lives as if they should have all privileges handed to them. It's very sad how awful the parenting is among most people. How were you as a child?
from chapter3 :
Remember, I'm a cashier at Wal-Mart. Every bad kid in the world has come in contact with me. This girl screamed so loud the other day, cause they didn't let her touch the debit button. The debit button! She didn't even know what it meant, except it was green!!
from chapter3 :
I see what you mean in terms of where life can take you all over the place.. but all I do is just aim for something good and whatever happens I'll deal with it as it comes. As for kids... I just don't understand them! I don't know what they want, I don't know how to stop their crying, I don't know how to feed them healthy things, I don't know how to feed ME healthy things.. lol.
from chapter3 :
When I'm 29 (10 years) I'd like to be the up and coming sports anchor of the region I live in, be married, maybe kids I don't know... that'd be so stressful for me... but rewarding all the same so I don't know. I want to live either here, Seattle, or Atlanta. I've been looking at stuff about Atlanta cause I have a friend moving there and it looks like a really neat city.
from chapter3 :
1. You're like, way Irish :) 2. Stars/Switchfoot 3. Orange 4. yep, butterfly tattoos!! 5. Reading your diary as giantkiller and embracing how completely opposite and how completely similar our views are (conservative/liberal, but we're both Christian and both believe in love) 6. Okay this is gonna sound weird! But Sonic the Hedgehog's girlfriend cause like, you aren't huge or anything but you get the job done anyway. hehe. 7. I think you're like 17-18 right, well anyway, where do you see yourself at 27-28, where would you live, what would you be doing, how many mini-Beths would be running around? :P (My middle name is Robert)
from chapter3 :
Jason!
from chapter3 :
I agree. There's nothing better than getting lost inside your own mind and your own words. It's very refreshing and I think a lot of people don't seem to realize that, but it's true. Sorry you're having a rough night :(
from chapter3 :
Jason is soooo tired! I napped for 3 hours and woke up not long ago. How's Bethy?
from thehoneypot :
i been thinking this nat king cole song for almost a year .. touching in many ways
from chapter3 :
Yeah :D Oh I wish she were closer to here but it'll happen in its own time. I figure if I really apply myself to work and school the time will just fly by, and you know what? It really has!
from chapter3 :
Her mom is okay with me. Her dad is kinda a jerk and just wants her to move out. She'll be 18 in the summer so it will be easier for her to move out at that point. I'll be 20 the same week. Is that a weird difference, 20 to 18?
from chapter3 :
It's white and has a little caller ID screen and little buttons with modern looking numbers. Some random buttons i dont' care about... an answering machine, and a speaker phone in the charger base. It's delightful. I haven't talked to my girl in a few days but I know it's cause her home internet is down, she has to sneak on in class to talk to me or when she's babysitting. It's all good.
from chapter3 :
Ohh! I'm so excited about you guys. I'm relaxing after my day at work, it got quite busy at the end there. Just watching TV, then waking up for school in the morning. My life's been real routine lately. I don't know if that's good or bad.. I'll just say good because I don't feel bad or anything.. lol. I can't decide. :) I got a new cordless phone, it's cute, in the manly sense. Oomph! It's cute. hehe.
from chapter3 :
What's up!! I'm doing okay. Hope you are too.
from chapter3 :
6 months is early, but I'm tellin you, that's enough time to figure out what you want. That's all it took for me and Amy until we broke up and now that we're trying it again, we realize that it really didnt' even take that long. It's amazing that love can do that. In my opinion you should go for it!! But definitely sit down with him and ask him what he wants. Definitely. I'll pray for you guys okay?
from chapter3 :
Oh, and move to Boise!! lol!!
from chapter3 :
If you are for sure moving.. it's gonna be so hard and I don't want to down-play that, but also there are ways of handling him not being there. But since it's so early on in the relationship, it'll be harder cause you were just getting used to him.. what a tough decision!! Do you have any idea of what he feels about this? And for you, what's good and what's bad about waiting a year... that sounds like such a long time!! I don't know :(
from chapter3 :
Grr. it deleted my note. hold on.
from chapter3 :
I sure am on. 5-9 hours? Are you moving to California or somethin'? Let's talk about this cause I think you could do it if you put yourself all into it, no holds barred so to speak :) or talk about anything else if you would rather do that :)
from chapter3 :
It will be hard, but I want some idea of what we're talkin about here - how far away? How much access would you have to him? How long till you could move back to be near him? Loves, Jason
from hamiltonian :
Its complex about the Hamiltonian-Jeffersonian subject. But there is more than meets the eye with what is in most books and the application. Hence the difference between the idea and action. I am digressing again but I will explain this. The whole thing is misunderstood its pathetic.... but I promise to enlighten yo' mind. For the record Jefferson does sound and look good at first glance but then comes something along the lines of reality and truth come along and blow his arse to the wind. If your ever up for it I will get a phone card and discuss it.
from chapter3 :
Comparing artists doesn't make you weird, but it certainly makes you different from me. I don't even know where to begin on that subject actually. I sort of like math, but once it gets into calculus or useless things (like how much fencing would it take to make four pens of maximum area, that was one we got the other day) I hate it. I definitely need sleep too. I hope to talk to you soon. Sweet dreams. Lots of love, Jason
from chapter3 :
Redneck woman, hehe. I didn't really think of you as one but again I don't really *know* you to know that. I just don't understand what's so great about abstract art, it's more confusing than inspiring. As for paintings they look nice sometimes but evoke no emotion from me at all. Neither does poetry cause I rarely can sift through the metaphorical quicksand. Does this make me dumb? I don't know....
from chapter3 :
Whoa, that is a cool trick. I wanna do it! Yeah as far as being uncultured, it's good that you are doing that for yourself. I would do that too only I don't think I belong as a cultured person. I can't appreciate art and abstracts as well as other people can. I listen to music for sheer enjoyment and nothing deeper. I don't even know the words to songs I like. I do wish I was more cultured though. I haven't really made many changes to myself actually. Whether that's good or bad I leave for others to decide. hehe.
from chapter3 :
I like Modest Mouse though I'll admit I haven't heard too many of their songs. I love that song "The Ocean Breathes Salty." It's really neat. I haven't done much reading as far as books lately, not that I don't read but just not actual novels lately. Umm.. have I done any tricks... do I know any? I don't think I know any. that sucks. I'll find one soon enough I suppose. How about you?
from chapter3 :
I find I can like a lot of music, but I've been getting into Franz Ferdinand and that one fallout boy song, but yeah I like a lot of alternative rock, and I like women like Michelle Branch that can sing and do their own music (Sheryl Crow, etc.) but mostly lately it's been middle rock. Not soft rock and not metal, just what I call middle rock :)
from chapter3 :
Um, what music are you into lately? Or have you been listening to a lot of new stuff, I mean for me it cycles.. now I'm getting more into new stuff.
from chapter3 :
I chose journalism because I like to know what's going on and who's behind it and how it all fits together. It fascinates me. Oh thank you for your well wishes, I will keep you in mind :) I may want to teach later in life too, maybe a HS government teacher. I like government :)
from chapter3 :
Ooh. If I were good at music I'd pursue it too. Good luck with that! Journalism is so fun, I find out next week if I got the job or not. It'd be part time with production crew until I can work my way up the ladder. It takes patience for me and Amy too and we've had differences of course, but it's like.. who cares if it's more positive in the long run. You have the right idea. Communication is key. You can't hide feelings deep in yourself especially if they're bad ones, because it will come out evenutally and it will ruin your relationship. you rock :P
from chapter3 :
I'm still in journalism. In fact, I may have an intern job at channel 2 news (CBS) in Boise! I have to wait until the guy gets off vacation though. Yeah me and Amy are together again for like the 8th time, lol, it's going to be great this time though cause I'm feeling extra patient this time. It's strange the way our thing is but at the same time it won't be this way for too long. Congrats for you and Bo!! Jason
from chapter3 :
Found it! "by being strong to your faith and morals you'll get a guy who sticks to his" - that's way down the page. lol!
from chapter3 :
Work's been work. That's about all I can say! I sometimes wish everyone would leave the store for a day so we could just have some peace in there! I'm glad you and Bo have something good, I'm pretty sure I remember saying you'd find your man. hehe.
from chapter3 :
Okay. Blue and pink it is! I'm not up to much, just relaxing after a day at work. I don't really have anything to do and my phone's dead so I have to get a new battery, or just a new phone altogether. I'm by myself again tonight which sometimes is frustrating but tonight it feels nice to have no one else around. :) How about you?
from chapter3 :
Can we compromise and go orange and blue? That's my college's colors. Go Boise State! Oh, and I love your idea about a book. I'd buy it.
from chapter3 :
Yeah after the first 35 minutes I'd just want it gone. Ooh. Magic markers :P
from chapter3 :
one arm could say "Harley" and the other say "Davidson" in that Gothic typefont you always see on people's trucks. :D
from eowyn86 :
Great new layout! Wow, that's a lot of books to be reading at once. I'm planning on reading the Scarlet Letter too, but probably won't be able to until after the semester. I hope everything works out with your family moving & stuff. My family moved a few times when I was younger, but I know it would be so much more of a shake-up as you get older and are involved in a lot more things.
from chapter3 :
Haha. That would be so great Bethy. What should it be of? Should it be a little ankle tattoo or a huge upper arm trashy one. haha. you're so funny. <3 Jason
from thehoneypot :
i LOVE your new template .. i think this one os more you .. happy anniversery B&B ,, bo and beth

from chapter3 :
Really good! How are you? By the way, I like your new profile comment of me!
from swimmmer72 :
it wouldn't be bad at all. i hope you get the chance for a trip real soon. in return, i will say i envy your living in the west, which i LOVE for all the things she has that the east doesn't! yes, it's a beautiful country! your time will come. :)
from myownjourney :
Ahhh.... ;) Happy Anniversary Ms. Beth.
from chapter3 :
God, you are so right. "Things do not change, we change." Hugs!! I miss you dearly. Jason
from thehoneypot :
oh beth, moving,, *sad for you* .. are you moving far away?
from hamiltonian :
I understand your predicimate.
from swimmmer72 :
thanks for the notes!!! yes, i love fall, too, and am really psyched to be going into october. i think october is nature's way of saying they are sorry for the end of summer, and i always try to make the most of it. hope things are well with you, too!! :)
from mugwhump :
I thought I lost you. I think you moved. Then I think you moved back. Now I've found you again. Phewwww! Anyway - you've given my buddy list a very fine comment. I don't think you should mislead people that way, but I'm terribly flattered. Blessings - LJ
from thehoneypot :
now its time for Bo to make a list of all the great things he likes about being with you.. i thnk you would learn alot more about yourself
from hamiltonian :
I haven't had anytime to make a 'legit' banner advertisement.
from chapter3 :
Thank you for the prayer. I will pray that you have a good start to your week. Love - Jason
from chapter3 :
Hey Bethy! Wanted to drop by and say hello. Work has been absolutely crazy lately. So many people come through each and every day. It's amazing that we can't get enough people hired to take care of the mass of customers. Good gelatinous gravy. Oh I do have my interview with Wells Fargo this week so I might get to work there. I really hope they take me. Love, Jason
from myownjourney :
Yo Beth. Thanks for stopping in. And Howdy right back at ya.
from danddteacher :
Gosh, reading that makes me miss it. Don't get me wrong - I love teaching - but sometimes I just miss performing.
from h2ophobic :
I hope your cold is better. I agree with you about the shower being the best place to think. My special prayer time is when I'm in the shower. I can't hear anything but the water, no one interrupts me and when I'm finished I feel cleansed on the inside too. Have a great weekend!
from hamiltonian :
from chapter3 :
Ooh. Time off on the weekend. I'll have a little bit of that. After 7:30 that is. They're trying to get me to work full time even though I am really part time and have classes to worry about. Not to mention my own time to myself and from that, my mental well-being. lol. I do hope to hear from you, I've been doing okay, tonight wasn't such a good night but overall I feel pretty good. *HUGS* Jason
from thehoneypot :
there is a certain closeness to hearing the voice of someone you care about on the phone *smile*

[email protected]
from mckushla :
Hi Beth. If you still want me to read your diary, could you send me a password? I'd love to keep reading. Andrea
from chapter3 :
I miss you also. This has been an extremely rough week. But it'll all work out. I'll read your blog as you update again. Love you also, Jason xox
from myownjourney :
Very exciting. :)
from thehoneypot :
hi beth,, you locked again and i cant find the old us and pw .. can you email it to me plz .. thanks Carter [email protected]
from myownjourney :
Hey there Beth girl. What H2 said........ you allright?
from h2ophobic :
Locked? Password please? I MUST have my fix! I miss you :(
from danddteacher :
*sighs* You locked up again? Are you giving out the password?
from swimmmer72 :
beth, did you block your site, or is my computer just being difficult?
from danddteacher :
Sadly, it doesn't get any better as you get older. Your schedule stays just as busy, it just changes slightly.
from fightn4life :
I think I followed the right link. :) Thank you for offering to help with adding links. Doesn't need to right as I am reading you are very busy with school. My "nights" are your days. I am a night worker, 7pm to 7am and a day-sleeper. I know there will be a chance for us to connect when you have the time and I time off. I was asked to introduce a new program I went to Georgia to learn tonight but have this awful cold so that is still up in the air. The training can wait if I am not up to it. If I am off tonight let me know what your night time hours are and I'll try to connect. If not my next night off will be, Thursday. Thank you soooo much. :) (Ohdo not let my help slow down your studies, what I am doing in my diary isnt life changing like your classes can be.) Sandyz
from thehoneypot :
thats a nice song.. but it can be sad too
from chapter3 :
You rock.. just so ya know.. :)
from mckushla :
Thank you Beth:-) It is wonderful to hear from you. I miss ya-lol. But I understand you are busy. I loved your last entry. -Andrea
from eowynne :
sexual harrassment/assault. It's been going on for three years now... I turned in my case in May... and got the letter on Friday that it's going to court now. Great. Right before our first band competition. He's in band, too.
from chapter3 :
w00t! Just remember, don't bury yourself in homework or it'll eat you alive ^.^ Don't worry about emailing me until you are caught up on studies, though, I'll be around and I don't have a due date like those assignments do :) Jason loves you!
from hamiltonian :
hi...
from chapter3 :
Aww, thank you :) The poem isn't necessarily *for* anyone. It's inspired by a memory, let's say. Hehe. I love that you liked my poem, I was only a little confident in it. Have a GREAT evening! - loves, Jason
from danddteacher :
Yay with the boyfriend! And yay with the play! Which play is it?
from thehoneypot :
wooohooo.. things are on a upswing *smile*
from swimmmer72 :
yes, you are exactly right. it sounds so - i think you said elementary - but, it is sweet and that's why it is so charming. good for you!! there is a sweet innocence about it all that is very endearing. :)
from mckushla :
Beth, Congrats!!! On both your boyfriend and your audition:-) -Andrea
from chapter3 :
(hugs) Thank you, you also have a great day. You're a sweetheart.
from chapter3 :
I know, it's horrible how that's all happened to the Louisianans. It'll take a long time for some of them to get back on their feet, so to speak, and get their lives where they want them to be. But we all know from 9.11 that Americans are good at helping each other when disaster strikes. :) They're in my prayers too. I'll email you back soon, much love, Jason
from icyjewel :
Oh my gosh, just so you know, Ayn Rand is NOT a boring author in the least. Best of luck with all of your reading, I would love to hear your reactions and then compare notes. :)
from mckushla :
I think it is awesome that you are reading so many books, and those books are all good ones. I love to read. -Andrea
from danddteacher :
I like reading about what you're reading! As for Animal Farm, I had to read it in the 7th grade and hated it. But then, they didn't have any business assigning it to us in the 7th grade. I've read Rand's The Fountainhead a few times. It's interesting - the characters have a very different way of looking at life from the way we do. I don't know about you, but I like getting different points of view, so I enjoy that book somewhat, though I wouldn't call it a favorite by far.
from danddteacher :
To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my all time favorites - one I can read over and over and over again and still get something new out of it every time. Although, when I was little my aunt used to talk about it all the time, but she talks so fast that I thought it was called "Tequila Mockingbird"! *L* As for Pride and Prejudice, it's always strange to me that most of Austen's books follow the same basic plot just with minor differences.
from chapter3 :
Okay, I will hope to hear from you when you are less busy, I still luv ya. Jason
from eowyn86 :
"To Kill a Mockingbird" is an awesome book - and so sad. It's one of my favorites :-)
from chapter3 :
No, I don't have plans other than working and finishing my homework. My weekends aren't really that fun because they're my longest work days. But it's okay :) Thanks for hugging back, love ya - Jason
from chapter3 :
Woohoo! Pointless notes. are. pointless. And mine is now the same way. *hug*
from thehoneypot :
i hope you are feeling better today .. i know for a fact that us (well at least me) klutz have to be really careful .. i hurt my back about a week and a 1/2 ago .. its feeling better but not all better yet .. have a great weekend
from fightn4life :
Thank you so much for the offer to help with my new diary lay out. I do believe I may need the help. I found an awesome web layout I can send you the link and see what you think. Thanks again for the review; it was just what I needed to help me decide what to do with my diary. I adore the photo but knew I was adding too much to the entry page. You are wonderful for helping me with this. (Oh yeah I was having problems with using Fire Fox so for now I had to switch to Internet Explore. Hate it but I could not get on any web pages. It was in conflict with my virus protection) Sandyz (hope your back gets to feeling better)

Aww.. at least you're up and laughing about it though. Yay for Bethy!
from swimmmer72 :
YAYYYYYY!!!!!! Beth is back on track!!!! :)
from chapter3 :
The entry ended too soon so we may never know (theme from x files) hehe. ^.^
from mckushla :
Oh my gosh, Beth, I just read your entry!! That is so awesome, and I am very very happy for you! Ya see? You got worked up for only a bright sunny day-lol. No rain! I am glad everything went well:-) -Andrea
from chapter3 :
(Hugs) Good night Bethy!
from swimmmer72 :
so... i take it things worked out? GOOD!!!! i'm happy for you! :)
from mckushla :
(smiles) You are wonderful. Yes. Bring on the rain. -Andrea
from mckushla :
I second that. -Andrea
from chapter3 :
Oh yes, I do love your template, especially the part where it links me :P hehe. Night Bethy, I'll write you soon.
from thehoneypot :
you seem like a dreamer and pisces are the true dreams ,,, saggies are very strong people .. they know what they want and how to get it ..that makes your 10 plan very likely *smile*
from thehoneypot :
very interesting reading where you would like to be in 10 years (with wavy hair) *smile* ... can i ask you a question.. are you a pisces?
from h2ophobic :
I forgot to tell you this...about worrying. One of my favorite sayings is "Don't worry about the mule going blind, just load the wagon." What is going to happen WILL happen, regardless of whether or not you worry about it. Maybe you & Bo will break up; maybe you won't. Maybe you'll have yourself so prepared to break up that you forget to enjoy seeing him! Take it from a retired worrier...it's not worth the effort!
from h2ophobic :
I love love LOVE your new template! So cute. Here's a little bit of useless trivia for you...the movie Simon Birch was from a book named Owen Meany. Weird that they changed the name of the main character AND the movie. I read the book at least a dozen times, but only saw the movie once. As usual the book is 100% better than the movie.
from swimmmer72 :
i guess i want to know more about you and bo. is there really a problem? or is it just a feeling? are you still going to see him soon? is it true that bo is really an armadillo?... sorry for that last one, i was getting too serious and too personal, and i figured i better lighten it somehow. :)
from mckushla :
topic 2: where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
from myownjourney :
Topic 1: Armadillos
from chapter3 :
I'll bet you only smell 6 times better. So, um. there.
from chapter3 :
I just took a shower so :P I smell freakin awesome. Like a bed of fresh flowers. Well... maybe not like that.
from chapter3 :
Oh! And a hug! Can't forget the hugs!
from chapter3 :
Mmhmm, but it's all good. My only concern is that moving to a new town makes it so hard to have friends, you have to meet people in the right settings, which means not at class, not walking down the street.. where do I go? .. anyways, enough about me today, are you feeling well? If not, should I make you some soup? Mm. soup.
from myownjourney :
Hey. For the record, I liked that template the last time you had it up. And Beth, whatever happens, good or bad, God's got you covered... now, take a breath and sing Peter Cottontail. :)
from mckushla :
Do not worry about things that have not happened yet:-) -Andrea
from thehoneypot :
i really like your new design too
from mckushla :
P.S. I like your new layout!:-)
from mckushla :
Thank you Beth! I missed you too! It is SO good to be back here. I will check out that journal. Thanks! -Andrea
from chapter3 :
I think I remember. I'll rub my chin until a montage begins. I know I smell... good! haha. I am lame. Good night :)
from chapter3 :
You're sweet :) I was just at Quizno's actually, you mention them on your survey. I actually just went there for some Gatorade, not a sandwich. Nope, I didn't die, although I'm sure I came close a few times.. you see, this isn't the easiest place to drive sometimes. Well, talk to you soon, <3, Jason
from mckushla :
Hey! I'm back! I just got done reading your entries. Jeez, that car accident must have been horribly scary. I have nightmares sometimes about being in car accidents. I shall write soon about my trip. Gotta catch up on some emails and stuff. -Andrea
from icyjewel :
Wow, although I'm not surprised that sunglasses lady got canned. She had it coming either way.
from chapter3 :
<part 2> Poor sunglasses lady, lol. Okay now I'm really going to work, love ya, Jason
from chapter3 :
I missed you also. I hated being gone for as long as I was.. when I lived with Emma we didnt' have a computer, and then after that I was simply too embarrassed by my sudden absence to try to come back. But I felt like I needed to keep certain people in my life and you are definitely one of them. Thank you for understanding :) <3 Jason
from lightmytorch :
I <3 you. I'm sorry for being gone this long... my new diary is chapter3.diaryland.com. I'll explain more later, where I've been, etc.. I'm sorry..
from icyjewel :
Awww, girl I know where you're coming from when you miss your honey so much. We should have a support group for us gals who have to be without our boys for long periods of time. It's so hard! *hugs*
from h2ophobic :
Thanks for the review. That was so fun! I have no idea how to add an extras page, so I'll take you up on your offer to help. Well, it's back to TV and taking it easy for me. Talk to you soon!
from danddteacher :
Pick me! Pick me! I want to be interviewed! *L*
from eowyn86 :
Yay, I like interviewing games :-D Okay, here are your questions, and don't forget to copy the rules into your entry too when you post this... 1). How many children are in your family, and what is your 'age rank' among them (oldest, youngest, middle, etc.)? 2). What book(s) are you reading right now? 3). If you were feeling thirsty and walked into a store to buy something to drink, what would be your top choice? 4). What 'dream job' would you pick for your future husband, if you had the power to choose? 5). What is your favorite season and why?
from danddteacher :
Being perceived as "enchanting" for too long gets old. I mean, you end up really wanting to be "bad" from time to time just to see what happens. And then people think it's "enchanting" that you're trying so hard to be bad. Yeah. Ugh.
from evababy777 :
thank you! :)
from swimmmer72 :
temporarily practical? that made me laugh! are you alright now, or does your back still give you trouble?
from myownjourney :
Actually, I think it was a haiku. Not a dumb entry. :)
from mckushla :
I'm going away for a few days. I expect to see a thousand entries written from you when I get back-hehehe. I hope you feel better as well. Drink TONS of Orange Juice and water. It really does the trick. Thank you for your wonderful notes. I'll be back in a few. -Andrea P.S. Your entry is not dumb.
from myownjourney :
Your way too fast for me Beth. You didn't even give me a chance to fix it. ;)
from mckushla :
(smiles) I hope to be one day. I want to be a forensic pathologist. But...we'll see. I could easily change my mind. I also like ER medicine as well as pediatrics and immunology. ....and hematology...-haaa...I love it all RIGHT NOW. We'll see once I actually get into med school and do my clinicals. I may decide I want to do gynocology-hehehehe I am sorry to hear about your lost friendship. I know that is a really hard thing to go through. I hope you will meet someone ....not to replace her, but who will be almost just as good of a friend as she once was. -Andrea
from mugwhump :
Freindships in life ebb and flow continually. Maybe someday your lives will be again in a different place, and you will be back to a freindship because of a united history. Enjoy what you did have and let go of the rest.
from mckushla :
P.S.S. I accidently sent you a message from my other journal, Autumnrein that I use to coorespond with a close friend. Forgot to sign out of it-lol. Disregard it. -Andrea
from mckushla :
P.S. Couldn't you keep in touch with Lacee by letters or phone? I know this doesn't usually work out. Long distance relationships are hard. But I was just wondering. -Andrea
from autumnrein :
(smiles) I am glad you liked the link. -Andrea
from thehoneypot :
i too have a hard time opening up my feelings in writing .. i have been in a few long distance relationships . that have been really wonderful .. but i know that there is something missing.. soon you both will be back together and see each other again .. we'll both try and express ourselves without feeling so vunerable ..
from mckushla :
You must write all about it when you go to see him. I am looking forward to hearing about it. -Andrea
from swimmmer72 :
i'm going to have to read old entries or something - there is just too much going on that i don't understand, BUT, it all sounds intriguing, and i hope it works out well for you! :)
from mckushla :
whoa-lol. Take a deep breath. Do not worry so much...and do not think so much:-) Things will be fine. -Andrea
from danddteacher :
I hate that feeling. And I so look forward to the day when I feel comfortable enough with someone, confident enough in that relationship to not wonder if he'll still like me. Because I'll know he loves me.
from thehoneypot :
i would be a loyal reading of ilb (i love beth) fan site ,, and you can sing some songs too
from swimmmer72 :
you might just have to get the ball rolling yourself. i'm sure that there are dozens, maybe hundreds of people who want to do an "i love beth and think she is the greatest thing since sliced bread" website, but are frankly intimidated by your sheer stellar energy and immaculate aura. start the beth stampede and post those pics of yourself in those aviators that really make you look great and trendy, with a dog, and the rest will take care of itself! honestly, i can't think of anything on the internet more worthwhile!!! and to think, we all here at d-land have gotten to know you during "beth, the early years". i'm overwhelmed!! :)
from myownjourney :
Bethie Girl, there will no doubt in the near future be thousands of fansites devoted to you and your life. People will have message boards devoted to your sayings and quotes. Debates will be had over who has the best site and pictures. People will photoshop you and Brad Pitt walking along the sandy beaches of Aruba and start rumors about who your dating. The world will be abuzz with finding news of Beth. Patience young Skybethie. Patience. ;)
from swimmmer72 :
the thing with haircuts is that the hair will always grow back, and if it looks a little shaky in the meantime, that's what hats are for! boyfriend (or girlfriend, in my case) issues tend to work themselves out in time as well. don't worry-things will get better!! :)
from mckushla :
You could never be ugly beth, for the sun is never ugly. -Andrea
from icyjewel :
That lady was totally rude in saying that to you about the glasses. It would have been very hard for me to bite my tongue, kudos to you for being able to not yell at her!
from autumnrein :
I'd nickname you Bright Eyes:-) -Andrea
from swimmmer72 :
a nick-name huh? hmmm,... i'll have to see if something pops into my mind. ;) and thanks for the note! actually, it wasn't so much that i had a bad day. it really turned out pretty good; i just had to "earn" my way out of work, but i eventually got to where i wanted to be, so it's all good! :)
from sanetwin :
I love nicknames too! Analise has renamed everyone we know, krispy for kristin and jon zombie for my friend jon. They love it.
from hamiltonian :
Hmmm... Thanks for the dedication! Btw... "Girl we gotta talk"
from mckushla :
I am trying to work on my goal in thinking, "The world does not revolve around me." and so I try not to care whether others read my entries or not. I'm not saying that you think the world revolves around you. I do not think that at all about you. But it is something that I personally need to work on. I like introspective entries. I like honest entries. And that...you already do. It is why I love your journal so much. You are truthful. -Andrea
from swimmmer72 :
i like to read about how people think and feel. what problems they have and how they deal with it, or not. what they are trying to do with their life. positive things, things that make them smile, make them laugh. variety, creativity. places they've been. i'd say sexual fantasies, but i'd probably get slapped. i agree with the note before me, that honesty is a big one. a good vent from time to time, but too much of that gets old, and i have to keep that in mind myself. it's a diary, so it's meant to express whatever you are feeling at the moment. BTW, you do a pretty good job. you have pretty specific ideas about how you want your life to be, and while i don't agree with you on everything (politics would be an argument with us), i appreciate your point of view. so yeah, write what you want. ha ha, just kidding, but really, what other reason is there to write? :)
from myownjourney :
Beth, I enjoy reading you. About your thoughts on things, your struggles, your life. You are unique, fantastic person and whether you're writing about faith, love, dogs or cuteness, I'll still read you.
from hamiltonian :
I don't have preconceived notion of what I would like to read in your journal. I do like honesty, if that helps...
from mckushla :
Thank you! And....I get jealous really easily too. I am quite possessive sometimes. -Andrea
from mckushla :
I loved your "Send me on My Way" entry. Very inspiring.:-) -Andrea
from swimmmer72 :
i wish that all your wishes would come true!! :)
from thehoneypot :
oh beth.. so many wishes.. oh my,, your human just like me.. umm.. beth.. i dont me bo though .. you are a beautiful person in and out .. BTW i hate dentists with there picks and probes .
from danddteacher :
I love Rusted Root and I love that song! I use it a lot at school (the kids get all excited because it was in "Ice Age") - lately we've been using it for our warm-up. But the funniest thing happened the other day. A 1st grader asked me who "Simmy" is. When I asked where this was coming from, he said, "You know - 'Simmy and the Whale'? From the warm-up song?" Get it?! "Send Me On My Way" = "Simmy and the Whale"!!!!! Oh, I love my kids!
from swimmmer72 :
clean slate?? i've done wrong and i've hurt people and i'll keep trying to make it up, but i don't ever think i'll have a clean slate until i start over in the next life. and, even then, i'm not sure that's how it works... :)
from swimmmer72 :
yes, one tattoo. left chest, inch and a half square, a bird, some clouds and a sunrise. i got it for my birthday many many moons ago. :)
from hamiltonian :
The next step is learning to observe without evaluating.
from eowyn86 :
Ugh, I hate lice. When I got it I had to wash my hair with this special shampoo called Nix, and then my mom had to go through my hair every night with this tiny comb to get rid of the lice eggs. I just wished I could keep my head underwater for a few hours and drown them.
from swimmmer72 :
don't they have to shave your head to get rid of lice???? yes, i'm kidding. :)
from thehoneypot :
i know the feeling of itching,, even though nothing is there, its the thought .. its should be yourr sleeping time.. i hope you are having good non-itchy dreams
from hamiltonian :
I love "rant"
from swimmmer72 :
crowd my notes page as much as you want. i enjoy the interaction! :)
from swimmmer72 :
re: rant! i agree with most of what you write here. unfortunately, most people do NOT take responsibility for their actions and are always looking for a reason or an excuse to justify their actions. i don't know if people are born gay or not, and i'm not about to make it an issue. that's up to them, and as long as they don't make it my problem, i couldn't care less. if birth actually did decide that, then i was born hetero, and i'm not going to make that anyone else's business either. as far as i'm concerned, my sexuality is my business and i'd just as soon not make a big deal about it. anyway, my job involves people who never take responsibility for their actions in a much more serious way, and it is my job to try and teach them how. it gets discouraging.
from swimmmer72 :
yep, we had a trip that went right up the coast from astoria to olympia natl park, around the peninsula, then back down to portland. i have relatives in tacoma and have been through seattle a couple times. never left the airport. i like the mountains and the columbia river valley the most, as well as the coast. :)
from swimmmer72 :
i think that there is a certain segment of both men and women that really need to work on their interpersonal relationship skills. that being said, and i have no idea of the percentages involved, there are also those, both men and women, that do their relationship proud. i think alot of it is the expectations a person has for themselves.
from swimmmer72 :
i've been to astoria!! i don't remember a whole lot except for it's proximity to the mouth of the columbia. i was awed at how there was nothing there and it could have easily been 150 years earlier when lewis and clark, and other travelers finally made it to the coast, and what that would have meant to them. eugene? well, my brother went to college in corvallis, and i went out to visit him regularly. i wasn't impressed with corvallis, but LOVED eugene, which is where i flew into. probably the closeness of the mountains. it seems like a fun town - college towns usually are. anyway, i like much of western oregon, and would love to explore that area more. :)
from myownjourney :
Amen sister! :)
from myownjourney :
the last dog I had was when i was 14. When he was killed by a car and I buried him it was the toughest thing I had ever dealt with in my life up to that point. I've never owned a dog since. I miss my stupid, untrainable dork of a dog to this day. Dogs suck except when they don't and that's what makes 'em so dang loveable..
from mckushla :
Thank you.:-) I love to write about my life and other people's lives. I just love...writing-lol. It's like therapy for me. It's the HTML stuff that I am still learning. I think I am getting better at it though, thanks to you:-) -Andrea
from mckushla :
P.S. Thank you for the wonderful comment about me on your profile. It made my day you know. And I know it's not the same but I am always here if you need someone to talk to. Whether it be in your journal or through email. And others listen and read as well. We all watch and are here for you just like you are there for us. Take care Beth:-) -Andrea
from mckushla :
Oh beth that was must have been just awful to see. I would have just completely lost it if I saw something like that happen. Espeically if it were my own dog. I have never seen an animal get hit by a car before, but I can only imagine how it must have been. I hope your day goes better for you. If not...tomarrow is a new day. -Andrea
from curiouoso :
Thanks for checking out my pages. Midnite says"woof" (Hi). I say," I hope you have a better day today. You can read some of my bad days if it makes you feel better. You can hug Midnite anytime! Curiouoso*
from chikyblonde :
i too share the same passion and love for animals...so much so that 1. i don't eat KFC & Tyson Chicken because of the abuse they do to the chickens and the poor/cruel way they process their chickens and 2. When i see a slaughter truck (the semis that take animals to the plants) i won't eat meat for the rest of the week. I should become a vegan. But not a crazy i-wont-eat-eggs-or-dairy-products vegan. Just no meat. In regards to the lice, honestly....if you do have them....the best thing to do is use some Rid. It's a sure fire way to kill not only the active infestation but any eggs as well. i don't know that tea tree oil kills the eggs. in the meantime, hugs to you my friend
from icyjewel :
Oh my gosh, you had a rough day. Here's to hoping that tomorrow brings you a much better day!
from swimmmer72 :
WOW! that's a tragic story about the dog!! i would have reacted the same way toward the lady who hit him. people just don't care enough about animals, and you were right about accepting some responsibility. all she had to do was say she was sorry - driving off was wrong. anyway, i hope your week improves! :)
from swimmmer72 :
where would i be if i could be? hmmm, right where i am, i guess, since i can go anywhere i want and this is where i am. i have a short list of prospects - eugene, or; ocracoke, nc; moab, utah; golden, co; somewhere in western montana, ithaca, ny; but i'm not convinced enough about any of them to move there. SO, i stay right here, erie, PA, which is actually a very nice town, until fate takes me elsewhere. BTW, i did spend most of my life in buffalo, ny. :)
from thehoneypot :
im sorry you has such a awful day.. i remember once driving and this dog just darted out in front of my car.. .. i swerved a hard left and ended up on the other side of the main road, but i couldnt avoid him .. i was leaning over him amd a police car came and stopped,, then he yelled at me for crossing over the road as i did.. the dog didnt make it either.. i still have this feeling reeling in my head as i write this .. i think you are sleeping at this time.. i hope you are having good dreams

Omigosh... that's horrible. I'm so sorry. I am so much like you in so many ways, Beth. I guess that's why I'm your best friend, huh? ;) But seriously... That's some hard junk. Your entry alone almost made me cry... then again, I was almost crying anyway. 28 days until Jon leaves...

There is a significant differance between judgement and evaluation.
from hamiltonian :
I am going to intrude on your nonanny world and nanny you. Whats going on with you? Email me.
from swimmmer72 :
go ahead. write about it, talk about it, VENT about it. if something is stressing you out, you need to let it out somehow. bottling it up does you no good, and issues usually need some form of expression to get past them. besides, isn't that was a diary is FOR? :)
from myownjourney :
For the record, I feel like that most days. :)
from swimmmer72 :
for what it's worth, i'm "other-coastal", which means if we're going to start a dialog late at night, i'm going to run out of gas WAY before you are. we'll chat again soon, i hope. ;)
from swimmmer72 :
religious? not to the extent you are. i was raised a methodist, but my religious beliefs sort of run the gamut now and are a blend of all kinds of things. comes from being a social studies teacher, i guess. i call it zen buddhist methodist, but i'm mostly joking. yes, i'm religious, but only in a fairly unorganized sense. my faith is strong, and i think that is what matters. sorry for the delay - i fell asleep, and should probably sign off for the night. thanks for all your return notes; it's been fun. :)
from hamiltonian :
Stop judging yourself
from swimmmer72 :
i like most types of music, in particular, country women, music from the 90's (rather than 70's or 80's, generally speaking). it's probably easier to say what i don't like, and that would pretty much be limited to rap and big band stuff. opposite ends of the spectrum. if i had to put a label on what i like it would be something like mainstream alternative, which almost seems like a contradiction, but you probably know what i mean. :)
from swimmmer72 :
i like their earlier cd's best, and TWO STEP is my ultimate favorite. :) how about you?
from swimmmer72 :
we have difficult boys at times. the first couple months, some test our limits as much as they can and it can get very physical. right now, there are a couple that are a pain, but most are workable and understand that acting up will only keep them there (or someplace worse) longer. we are about their last chance to avoid a life of crime, and we've had both successes and failures. just want to get married, do you? hmmm, well, i'm a cynical old bachelor and while i don't dismiss the idea, i doubt you'll ever see me jump into anything. good luck to you! :)
from swimmmer72 :
i'm in charge of a juvenile detention/residential treatment facilty. in other words, i deal with bad boys, ages 11-18, sent to us by the courts. my particular unit specilizes in low-functioning sex offenders, and they keep us on our toes. are you still in college, or just looking to put a degree to use?
from swimmmer72 :
i'm good! except that it is sunday night, which means i wake up to monday morning and another busy work week. "sigh" just one of those things - there isn't enough time in a day. glad to hear that you weren't dumped after all. that would have been bad. so, are you glad to be back from camp?
from swimmmer72 :
re: 40 things-great entry! it really gave me some great ideas for 40 things of my own. i hope you don't mind me stealing it... :)
from icyjewel :
Person I love: Beth because she's the coolest chica! Haha, I'm such a dork. I liked your 40 things list. Have a great week. :)
from mckushla :
Isn't it????!!! Oh my gosh, I am going to have SUCH a hard time getting to sleep tonight, Beth-lol. God really does work miracles. I even asked him to take in a few rescue horses. I haven't heard back from him yet, but I am sure he will do it. I am glad you weren't dumped:-) I look forward to hearing about your visit with him in a couple weeks. -Andrea
from mckushla :
I'm glad you liked my quote:-) And yes, I like yours as well. -Andrea
from eowynne :
Ha. You make me laugh! ;) You probably WOULD get your head stuck in a tuba... and that would make me laugh harder because you'd be running around with a 50-lb instrument on your head while the tuba players chased after you. Ah man. That's a really funny picture right there. Well yeah, so I'm really hyper because I am so EXHAUSTED from band camp. But that's OK. You'll forgive me, right? ;)
from thehoneypot :
welcome backkkkkkkk
from elleohvee :
im new at this. hm. :) i need friends.
from icyjewel :
Oh no! *hugs hugs hugs* I hope everything is ok either way.
from swimmmer72 :
what kind of jerk would dump you while you were away? you deserve better and he doesn't deserve you.
from mckushla :
Dumped????? Oh gosh Beth I am sorry. When you feel up to it, write about it. How could you have been dumped when you were at camp all week? -Andrea
from swimmmer72 :
have a great week at camp!! stay away from forest fires!!! :)
from myownjourney :
Redneck Rockstar Cowgirl Counselor Beth. It's Tuesday, August 9th. Leaving note as instructed. Hope your enjoying camp.
from eowyn86 :
Have a great time being a counselor! And thanks for the happy birthday wishes :-)
from thehoneypot :
you have a wonderful week.. your lyrics are really timely .. ill miss you and look forward to your return
from h2ophobic :
A whole week without your entries? Ok, (sniff) I'll be brave. I hope you have a great time! I'll be looking forward to lots of stories when you return.
from danddteacher :
Some of my favorite memories are from the 2 summers I worked as a camp counselor. It's tiring, but so worth it. You'll be great! Have fun!
from mckushla :
Good luck at camp! You'll make a great counselor:-) -Andrea
from evababy777 :
great verses!!!
from swimmmer72 :
i'm one of those "good at all the strokes, not great at any of them" types. same thing with distance. i've done both sprints and the long stuff. IM and freestyle are probably my best, and as i get older, there are still plenty of people who can kick my butt in the 50, so i swim the 500 instead. all that being said, that's why i'd rather lap swim... :)
from icyjewel :
Have fun at camp, Beth!! You'll be missed as always...
from swimmmer72 :
i'm the same way. i still get pulled into a meet from time to time, but as soon as i get on the starting block (if not before), i start wondering why the #%&$ i'm doing it. i'll work my butt off in lap swim and get a lot more satisfaction doing it. :)
from myownjourney :
Kilkenny is one of his best. in fact, I think I might read it again myself if i can find a copy......it would be a good read for down time at camp.
from swimmmer72 :
yep, short hair, although i don't think i'd wear a swim cap even if my hair was long unless they said i had to. yes, there is a sexist bias involved in pool rules, but i'm on the lucky side of this one. :) are you/were you a competitive swimmer? you mentioned lap swim.
from swimmmer72 :
yepper, i'm a swimmer, competitively since i was about six with some extended breaks here and there. i also coached swimming here in erie and when i was in buffalo. it's the chlorine, i can't get away from it.
from swimmmer72 :
re: your first 8/6 entry. i read the whole thing, but didn't do the links. it was very informative, and i especially liked the part about swimming. i'm glad i never wore a swim cap, because i don't like headaches so much. :)
from myownjourney :
Have fun at camp cowgirl.
from swimmmer72 :
what kind of camp? what kind of counselor? if we're playing 20 questions, i have 18 left. :)
from swimmmer72 :
yes, "field of dreams" is a good movie in a sappy, kevin-costner-kind-of-way, especially if you like baseball. it's always good to know that if you listen to the voices in your cornfield, things will still work out for the best. :)
from danddteacher :
Playing pop songs on the guitar is not that difficult - especially since most of them are written using the same basic chords over and over again. I taught myself - you can to! (Gosh, I sound like one of those stupid inspirational speakers! *L*)

if i may correct you i am not that cheerleader type!!! i am a brunette and i dont really like preppy cheerleaders!! anyway atleast you guessed what you thought i seemed to be!! ;)
from missy-17 :
well i just was looking at some diaries and i found your pretty interesting!!! so i decided to write to you and compliment u on your diary!!!
from missy-17 :
hey you sound pretty cool!!!from what your profile said!!! ha ha hey anyway you might not be familiar with me cause i am new so just write back and i will feel less new!!! lol
from mckushla :
Duncan is very beautiful. I know a little about rabbits. My best friend back in Elementary school had rabbits. They were her favorite animal. Her rabbit was named Chewy because when they first bought him he chewed on her mother's collar. I love animals. -A.
from swimmmer72 :
i feel the same way about my poor departed pets. 3 dogs, 4 cats, and now, one of my fish is dying. you have nice pics - it's a good thing to remember your pets. thanx, :)
from hamiltonian :
Bethy must be shy otherwise she'd put up more pics of herself *wink wink*
from myownjourney :
Just for the record, my family raised rabbits for a bit but I'm not going to tell you why we raised them because I think you raised them entirely different reasons...... oh and happy 200th!

Oooh, I love that verse, even though it's not exactly happy. It means atheists are fools, but then, us Christians aren't always "good" either.
from mckushla :
I like your new template. I love the colors. And I like your cast page. Mind if I copy you and do one of my own sometime? Glad I'm not the only one who feelings for her car-lol. -Andrea
from eowynne :
Yeah. I need a new font tho, since this font hates the in my name!! ;p
from eowynne :
lol. Well, Beth, if I ever have a "Miss Real America" contest, you'll be the first I'll invite! ;)
from sanetwin :
ew. Really though being miss america wouldn't be so great. You'd have to look and act a certain way every day. Boo to that.
from mckushla :
Lol, You can note me as much as you want. I've noted you quite a few times myself. Thank you:-) -A.
from mckushla :
Thank you! I will play around with it. Oh, and I like big dogs too. I have a collie like Lassie named Maddy. He's my pride and joy:-) -Andrea
from mckushla :
Thank you:-) and thanks for the wish list! How do you create links in your entrys and on your home page? -A.
from mckushla :
Thank you for the compliment on my template. We'll see how long it lasts-lol. I'm still not up on the whole image hosting thing. I LOVED your list of 100 things. That made me laugh-hehe. Maybe I shall do that sometime. If you don't mind me asking, what is your wish? -Andrea P.S. I wish on stars too:-)
from thehoneypot :
i have entered these words into my thesaurus
from sanetwin :
the image entry was cool!
from eowynne :
Hey! I liked your 100 random things entry! It was great! We're so alike in so many ways! So who's your other "algae eater" or whatever you called him, the one after John Kerry? lol. ;)
from evababy777 :

from thehoneypot :
im ready to make my secong guess.. are you a virgo or scorpio.. thank you for the list , i know alot more about you now
from swimmmer72 :
you're right about the importance of being able to write your own mind, without the influence of others. there are times my privacy has been threatened, but for the most part, i don't worry about it. BTW, i'm an archiver, rather than a deleter. i keep it all - good, bad or just plain ugly. :)
from mckushla :
Hi. I just thought I'd let you know that I read your journal and enjoy it. I just started mine:-) -Andrea
from thehoneypot :

from myownjourney :
No offense, but I think you're pretty cool.
from h2ophobic :
I completely understand...I won't post anything about HP6 until you let me know that you've read it. Are you planning to buy it or are you on a waiting list to get it from your library? We didn't buy the first 3 right away, we borrowed them from our library. Now we're hooked and Shelby & I each pitched in part of our "allowance" to buy the new one.
from iamafatgirl :
Awww, Bethy! I love ya too!!!! :)
from thehoneypot :
i got a foreward the other day and saved it ,, its about the war (which im againest) .. this fwd made alot of sense to continue and it really affected the way i feel .. im not a political person but was thinking "should i put it on my diaryland,,, sorry for your depression *hug*

from eowyn86 :
Ooh, fishing sounds fun! I've done it a few times when I was a kid, but I really should do it again sometime, if my rod still works. You're right though, it's definitely better late than never!
from icyjewel :
I went fishing this weekend with my dad, too. I'm glad you had so much fun.
from thehoneypot :
good luck with finals ,, you sound like a really adorable daughter *smile*
from danddteacher :
Congrats on the fish! And good luck with finals!
from eowynne :
Wow! What a JERK! Sounds like some of the people I've had to deal with on my diary. My band one is worse - but I expected it there since it's on Google and every other search engine and tons of kids from the schools around here find it - especially our rival school, and they make a point of constantly saying, DAVIS SUCKS AND IKE RULES THE WORLD. Ugh. What a bunch of mindless idiots. But I can take those since I expected them right from the start (even tho the occassional attacks at school aren't fun...). But on my diary, that's not on any search engine (unless you tried super hard to find it), and I only let select people read it. But when someone I don't even know says something rude... I mean, really rude... it's not cool. The world's full of nasty people. ;p
from screenwrite :
to beth: thanks for the review. i had a layout for awhile, but decided a plain and bland one suited me just fine at the moment. i suppose i ought to make one soon, however. anyway, i just wanted to thank you - you've made me feel wonderful. and i am a 'musician' i suppose you could say. i suppose i just write the songs and play the xlyphone and the piano. but im not very musically inclined. okokok. i just came to say thank you. so thank you.
from myownjourney :
Hey Beth, God's got you're back (and you're front in all things.) I personally find you to be insightful, creative, beautiful and strong..... and really, my opinion is the only one that matters. j/k ;) - Whether you realize it or not you are an inspiration to alot of people. So don't ever take anything negative people say to you to heart. Except the honest critisism and just "wipe your feet" off on all the rest. Much like the desciples did. You're a groovy chick Ms. Beth. hang in there. - Ricky of the Wise
from eowyn86 :
Wow, I'm sorry you had such a bad day. It's good that you're able to see it as satan though, because if all that happened to me I'd just take it personally. I hope tomorrow will be better for you! I have mixed feelings over calling someone a demon... on the one hand it could very well be true, because I believe that demons certainly do indwell people, even though that idea is laughed at by all those modern, smart psychologists. But then, there's the chance it may not be true, or that the truth is too blunt, or something. I don't know. But I admire you for taking a stand against someone who's doing things you know are wrong. God bless! *Laura*
from mugwhump :
Don't worry about having to lock up for a while. You know the people that care about you, and you can trust us. I'm beginning to believe there are "crank" commentors. People who say that 'know' you (but don't), and just want to see your reaction. Don't give them the time of day. All they want from you is your reaction.
from thehoneypot :
LOTS and LOTS of people care about you .. dont let one jerk have you feel otherwise.. {{{{{BIG HUG}}}}}
from hamiltonian :
I believe there are those that care as i know one who does... me. But the question I ask is this, do you care and love yourself? Also simply and calmy if your irritated ask yourself why. Look within and you will find you have the ability and choice to free yourself from all irritation despite the most horrific circumstances and actually feel the love and joy that we can all experience one moment at a time.
from hardcorefan- :
I so wouldn't worry about this person's stupid crap. It's none of their business. No more stressing over stuff you can't control. People are human-no one is perfect except for the Trinity. Just don't accept their critical spirits. It's just satan trying to make you critical. AND I bet your favorite skirt is beautiful. :)
from hamiltonian :
I'll work on a edscription of you but I request to trade emails so i can know you better politically, spiritually, and psychologicaly.

You know, I'd always thought about getting reviewed, but then I knew I'd stress out about someone who I'm not familiar with doing it. Would you consider reviewing me?
from eowyn86 :
Hi there! That's a shame that my layout isn't working in other browsers - I wish I could see it in more than one, but I can't - I've thought about re-doing it though to make it less complicated or something, so maybe I will. By the way, I really like the web-log style you've got on yours now! I wanted to try that at first but was too lazy. God bless!
from thehoneypot :
hi beth .. thanks for your note .. everything is pretty much ok .. i just got home from working 13 hrs ..i have hazel eyes too .. but much older .. we hazel eyed guys and really nice (i think) .. dont worry about feeling stupid .. you really see very intelligent .. enjoy you time together
from h2ophobic :
Ok, I've never said this to anyone before. Will you please review me? Thanks!
from myownjourney :
Heya, never feel obligated to read me. I'm not that interesting much these days anyway. but thanks Ms. Beth. You're a sweet gal. :)
from mugwhump :
I agree with you - you have some serious spunk and attitude! That's one of the many reason I love ya!
from icyjewel :
Awww, thanks for the kind note in return. I love you too, Beth!! I hope you have a good weekend and that you are able to post a bit more often--I've really missed you.
from icyjewel :
I could leave you a nasty note Beth, but I like you entirely too much to do that to you. I am a democrat and I don't like that I am being stereotyped as insane, but no matter what I say, you will argue with my beliefs. We will always believe in different things--which is one of the reasons why I enjoy reading you so much. I like to read your ideas and opinions, no matter how different they are from mine. I've learned alot in this life--to be understanding and accepting are two of the most important. There will always be two completely opposite ends of the spectrum, that is exactly where you and I are. But I like you just the same, I think you are a wonderful, beautiful, and intelligent person. Just remember to not be so quick to judge a person after only knowing a label.
from danddteacher :
Wow! Things are going wonderfully for you! Congrats on the play and tell us more about the guy!
from icyjewel :
Congrats on acting well in your play! :)
from ima-bandgeek :
Oops. Thought I was signed onto this account. Oh well. You know what I meant. :)

Sure! Why not?! That'd be super awesome! Yeah, it's been a while - on my regular one, or this one? Or both. The latter is what I was thinking. :)
from mugwhump :
Have you ever noticed on my side bar a link to "Word of the Day"? That's what I click on when I'm stuck. I look at the word and try to write something using it. Just my suggestion anyway. :-)
from mugwhump :
I missed my quiet time at home this morning (husband wanted to talk), but I more than made up for it here. Thank you for your insights this morning. Very well written. Blessings - LJ
from eowyn86 :
Awesome insight on those verses :-) I often don't think of Christ's return being "imminent" either, but I wonder how differently I'd live if I lived like it was.
from h2ophobic :
Thank you for your entry about the verses from Matthew...I needed that.
from simslife4 :
Hey, just thought I'd say very nice diary.
from icyjewel :
I've missed you! You must be very busy these days because you don't write much anymore. I hope all is well with you.

hey chica, I wanted to copy and paste that quote you had on your page about return to earth is a mystery, very great one. I collect quotes and such... anyway, I couldn't and it was fabulous! could you please email me and tell me what in your html keeps peeps from copying and/or using the right click? I've been trying to find out, but I'm new to the html thingy. Any help or links you could send my way would be fab. Oh, I linked your page from the quote I ended snabbing from you anyway, thuogh I typed it manually. Yea, but thanks oodles and poodles!
from alonenafraid :
Thank you for the lovely, lovely reivew. To tell you the truth, I"m sick of my layout too. I'm going to make myself another one though. I just need to get some better HTML and CSS skills first lol. I might get a premade till then, just dont care for them lol. Anyways, your review is very, very much appreciated!
from vacantlegend :
Beth, You reviewed me awhile back, and I do agree with most of your suggestions. I like the layout, well for the theme anyways... I had alot of trouble with it, and i guess now everyone else is too. I'll prolly change it once im back from westpac *being deployed kinda holds me back from doing stuff I want* But more importantly, how do you suggest I improve my content. I like keeping the day-log, simply because if I dont ill have completely forgetton what happened that day. My older stuff, and my old diary had alot more ranting, alot more from-the-heart stuff.. but these days im not that sad hurt lil boy.. I work, I dont cry over girls all day... so how do i rant? I suppose that lack of pain is what caused my diary to be reduced to just a record of events. I do have stuff to rant about, but it all seems trivial now compared to near-suicidal despair. I open to comments :D

I have weird dreams like that all the time. I had onerecently that was like a Series of Unfortunate Events- except I've never seen the movies/read the books, save I've seen some commercials. It was a pretty cool dream though. It also involved an island. *I can't believe your CRUSH, of all people, did that to you. I wonder if he knows that you like him. If so, that's just cruel. Oh my gosh Beth!! What happened? Are you ok? Those are some pretty horrendous looking wounds. *HUGS HUGS HUGS HUGS* I hope you're doing ok.
from myownjourney :
Those are some nice scrapes you got there Beth. Very impressive. :) I hope you're ok though. Consider yourself e-hugged. Take it easy there lady... ;)
from darktwilite :
I don't have a problem telling the guy I like that I like him. I give him a sign every day that says "I love you" on it. Of course, we're also pretty good friends, so I don't know if he takes it seriously. But I hope all goes well for you and the dude you like. :D
from danddteacher :
She lives! I'm impressed that you told him that. Don't know that I could've done it.
from hardcorefan- :
Ew!!!! That's bad. I mean, that you feel stupid. I'm glad that he said that the speechelessness was a good thing. Always makes me nervous you know! Well, good luck my dear!
from eowyn86 :
Hey Beth! I hope that cold isn't dragging you down too badly! Seems everyone's getting them this time of year - I had one about a week ago, and it hung on forever. God bless, and I hope you'll be back soon. :-)
from darktwilite :
Hope you feel better! ..And as for baby names, I've got a girls name picked out (Aurora Lynn), but guys names are harder. I considered "London", but I'm not sure. lol.
from mugwhump :
Regarding your cold - rest and get better soon. Regarding your friend - pray, pray, pray, rest and it will get better soon.
from thehoneypot :
ohh please do feel better ... monday will be a brighter day.. you rest this weekend
from danddteacher :
I used to think up baby names, because I thought I'd be having children by now. Unfortunately, all the names I had picked I can no longer name my children (should I ever find a husband and get to havin' some) because of students from school. For example: I'll never be able to name my child Matthew, Austin, Morgan, Elizabeth... the list could go on an on! All because of undisciplined kids I've had! I'm running out of names here!!!! *L*
from thehoneypot :
sooo.. what is he look like.. hair? eyes? aura?
from juli-anne :
Who is he? Ahhhh, please tell me more! I must not be in the "loop" anymore because I am thoroughly confused.
from darktwilite :
You smile back, or you could bat your eyelashes and giggle. Of course, I am only joking on that last part. Sorry I've been away for so long, I kind of went off and did the Xanga thing. I'm considering coming back though. *shrugs* Who knows. But if a dude really does that to you, and to no other, then try talking to him sometime. You guys might have something in common.
from hardcorefan- :
You smile back. Simple, I know. But that's what I would do!!! Thanks for the wonderful description of me and my diary. You are so wonderful! Do you have a Xanga? Add me if you do, my s/n is i_feel_like_elphaba it's a new kind of freedom for me.

Slap him and tell him to stop stalking you! j/k ;)
from h2ophobic :
Beautiful words about beautiful feelings. Thanks for sharing!

Haha, April Fools. :)

from juli-anne :
Hi Beth! I'm just stopping by to say umm...HI! I hope you have a great day and start writing more again, I've really missed reading you and hearing what you have to say.
from hamiltonian :
I like the francey.org link.. thank you Beth.
from myownjourney :
Hey. Happy Easter Beth. By the way, did your Supergold run out all ready?
from eowyn86 :
Of course I still read! Hope you're doing well despite being busy, and have a blessed Easter! *Laura*

WOWWWWW ,,,, nice new layout you are a girl of many talents hey... whats your birthsign?
from h2ophobic :
VERY cool new layout!
from true-diamond :
Hi I just read your lastest and it's nice there are still alto singers out there, who work with the choir and seem to like they do. I sing both alto and saparno (but mostly alto.) That entry was cool. True-Diamond a.k.a. Raven
from h2ophobic :
Yay for you! Sometimes it's hard to do the right thing, but it sounds like you are very strong in your belief and faith. My grandmother used to tell my this old wive's tale "You marry who you date, so if you can't picture yourself married to this person, they're not worth dating."
from ihavedreads :
well I see what you mean...but see, I don't really care if entertainers aren't "cool"...as long as they're good at whatever they're supposedly doing....like, as long as someone is a really good musician I don't care if their personalities aren't "cool", but if they stink at their job then it doesn't matter how nice their personality is.... but that's just how I look at it...nothing wrong with your opinion :) -dave
from hardcorefan- :
I'm leaving you a note...just because I like getting notes and comments, just like you do. I love ya!!!!!
from hardcorefan- :
BETH! I'm still tore up that I don't have a comment for your buddy list! Why must you deprive me of such things???? Well, about my trip to the doctor...you can read my diary entry for that one...Later alligator!
from hardcorefan- :
I lovea you Bethy! Thanks for the note, it made me smile...did I put in my diary that my shoes are silver sequins instead of multi-colored? I still want the multi ones though. Pray for me as I go to the *ahem* female doctor this afternoon. Ugh. I lovea you!
from chikyblonde :
thank you so very much for keeping me on your buddy list...the words you said about strong faith and the such really made me take a hard look at some things in my life...tonight really convicted me about some things and i have you to thank...you're awesome Beth
from danddteacher :
After reading your note I've got "just keep swimming, swimming, swimming" from Finding Nemo stuck in my head! *L*

Today for the first time I looked at your profile comment on me . . . I'm touched (I blush). How terribly honoured and unworthy of such sentiment. Well heck - between you and Ricky, and a few other I have a much larger family than I ever thought. Way Cool!!! You Rock!!!
from chikyblonde :
i really wanna know about the whole Let's-not-pull-a-Tony deal.
from juli-anne :
I particularly enjoyed your entry today. (and yes, I will continue to read even if you don't have a pretty layout, I come here for your words and thoughts!) You must remember that to someone you mean everything. I know that at your age it's a struggle to figure out exactly who you are. Good luck! I'm very glad that you are back and posting. :)

I feel so bad about not getting back to you.. my life's been a little, um, hectic lately. I barely get a chance to be online anymore. Just know that I still feel good whenever I hear from you :) And I'll hope to get more chances to stay in touch with you very soon. Love, Jason
from myownjourney :
Glad to see your still around and kicking Ms. Beth. I was worried there for a bit. :)
from chikyblonde :
Isn't that our luck though?! Things are going ok. I'm soooo dealing with new emotions (or shall I say old...they're just MUCH stronger now) and I'm trying to gain the proper perspective on this before I lose my mind and lose a friend....eh. I'm high on percocet right now so if I'm making no sense...blame the drugs. I'm a mess honestly. I don't quite know what's going on with my head and everything else in my life and it's kinda scary...*sigh*
from eowynne :
Yeah, my parents both signed it. We have to get that cheating lady out of there!!
from eowyn86 :
Hi! I haven't been up to much - just being a lazy bum until Spring semester starts ;-) I'm glad to see you updated nonannies! I guess a lot of political fervor has died down since the election though, which is probably a good thing. Still, Bush won! Yay! Ttyl :-) *Laura*
from juli-anne :
Miss you too, Beth. Have a good weekend!
from icedmilk :
Hey, the pending list was so kindly updated by me... w00t. lol. I think you have several people pending.

Well, now I know kind of what you look like and you are gorgeous!! You DON'T look fat, I may have to yell at you if you say it again. ;) I hope you had a very happy and merry Christmas. Oh, and have fun dying your hair!! Since you gave us a teaser of a picture, post another one showing us your new hair. :)

I can save time for myself, I am able to balance time pretty well actually :) Now I need to balance some in talking to you so here I go. I like blue. Blue is a good color when it is dark. Rainbows have dark blue in it because they are pretty.
from lightmytorch :
Hi Bethy :) It's okay if we haven't really done much communication lately. I'm sure you've been busy, and I know I was with moving and working long hours for the holiday season. We're still just fine, and you have a safe and happy holiday today, celebrating the life of Jesus. :) Love, Jason
from sanetwin :
Merry Christmas Beth!
from myownjourney :
To answer your question ....... no comment. And giggling like a little girl is allowed, though if I giggled like a little girl, that would just be wierd. Yeah, so, there ya go.
from darktwilite :
Well, that's always nice. Meeting the man you may marry. Merry Christmas, indeed.
from pixie-grl :
Yeah, I fixed a few things in my layout to make it a little more "user-friendly". It really helped me see things I didn't notice before, so thanks! Happy holidays!

from buddhistmonk :
Aww, thank you for the Christmas wishes, it was sweet! The same for you; have happy holidays and a grand new year :)
from chikyblonde :

from lightmytorch :
I'm doing awesomely well.. thanks for asking. And yep, it's only a matter of time before you get what you want. A puppy you can get by buying one or from the shelter, and a hubby you can get by presenting yourself as the sweetheart that you are.. and by being strong to your faith and morals you'll get a guy who sticks to his, it's how you present yourself that attracts the kind of guy you're looking for. Does that make sense? Have a good night - Jason
from lightmytorch :
Those are your wishes.... and you will have them. I believe in you. :) God bless Bethy.

Someone hacked my review site, who knows why... They accused me of sending their little "group" offensive material, which obviously isn't true, because I would never do anything like that. I don't know why they did it, but, no matter what the reason, I can't get back in, so my review site is basically dead. People can be such jerks. :(
from darktwilite :
'Life is the suck'- that's my slogan. But just because of that is no reason to just go and give up or lose faith. I felt like that last night, but that's when I do my best 'creating'- of concepts for drawings or poems or stories. I like to imagine my own little worlds. It's quite relaxing. Especially playing some Radiohead in the background. Seriously. Laci sounds like she's a 'fairweather friend', and I would consider myself lucky to be rid of her, no matter how much it hurts. Reach out and make new friends. Hope you feel a little better (if not, just eat chocolate. lol) Also, this probably sounds a little frank, but hey, that's me.

"Yeah, but you know what? This one, this one right here. This was my dream, my wish. And it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back. I'm taking them all back. " - Ms. Beth. It's from the Goonies (My second favorite movie of all time) when they're under the wishing well. In fact here's the whole dialogue: Stef: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, stop, stop! You can't do this. Data: Why? Mikey: Why? Stef: Because these are somebody else's wishes. They're somebody else's dreams. Mouth: Yeah, but you know what? This one, this one right here. This was my dream, my wish. And it didn't come true. So I'm taking it back. I'm taking them all back. Sorry, I just love that movie. - Ricky

If they read it wrong, I'll get in trouble for being 5 hours late. I'm going to pull my hair out. I would pull the manager's hair out, but his is too short. Grr. :D

I read this line of one of your entries and I thought I'd repeat it back to you, because I LOVE it. "I am so loyal- and even if your wrong, I will stand by you till the death of me. That's what friends are for. " -- you're so awesome, Bethy. This is the part where I'd kiss your forehead and say that was cute. :) G'night!
from myownjourney :
Heya Ms. Beth. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. To answer your question regarding the purpose thing, I just think that God puts thing in our hearts that we are passionate about. Like some people have an desire to help people in general, or some like to fish or sing or speak...... (I'm not explaining well) I think, and this is just me, not any theology, that the stuff we enjoy the most or get the most excited about, those are the things we are meant to pursue. And not just because it makes us happy but because i think God knows that that is when we serve him best, by doing the stuff he's put on our hearts for Him. I think we can serve God, whether your a writer or a singer or a librairian or a cowboy. If we do what we love to do and we do it serving God's higher purpose i think that is what our purpose is .... maybe .... I don't know ... anyway ..... I just worked about 13 hours so I'm a bit out of it. I hope that made since and if not, well, it is me and i am wierd. Allrighty, is that enough? i think so. - Ricky
from hardcorefan- :
Beth, I totally know how you feel about the best friend thing...I've lost 2 best friends...and I'm the same way about being loyal, like you are. I've never had that in a friend. It's kinda sad. Oh, well! It's just me and Jesus!
from mugwhump :
We matchmake because we care. Or is it because we have nothing else going on in our lives? I prefer my first suggestion. :-)
from chikyblonde :
I understand exactly what you mean. I don't know why I'm friends with my best friend anymore...it's like we are because we're suppose to. I don't like hanging out with her or doing stuff with her anymore. She's a very moody person and I just don't like being around that. And she thinks I'm stuffy and boring...
from juli-anne :
Sometimes dreams don't make one bit of sense whatsoever. When I was really sick in the hospital, everytime I fell asleep I dreamed of hot dog slices and a meat packing plant. Then again I was on morphine....Ok, never mind. What I'm trying to say is that dreams are your mind taking bits and pieces of your thoughts and everything you experience during the day, and throwing them together into one jumble that makes no sense at all. Enough of my rambling, have a nice night!
from lightmytorch :
Your email wasn't weird at all, it was sweet and I liked it enough to read twice ;) Anyway. Thanks for commenting on my motto. I came up with that when someone said 'support the troops' and I giggled at the word 'support.' I'm not a Christmas elf, I dont' even celebrate that much, but it was an excuse to reason why I'm happy without actually having to come up with a real reason. See? It worked. Oh yes. I'm still in that silly mood, and I didn't go back to sleep, although I should have. Thanks for noting me. A million smiles, Jason.
from darktwilite :
You've had a crazy year. My life is so dull and mundane. I like it sometimes, but other times it feels like just that- mundane.
from lightmytorch :
I am in a funny mood, oh my gosh. I've been really silly lately and clumsy and everything like that, these are the times when I'm the most fun to be around. Maybe it's the Christmas spirit. Or not, considering that by the looks of my house you'd never know it was December. Oy. Well, you have a great day and stay shining as you always do so well. :) Jason
from for-you-only :
Thank you for your note... I know what you mean - you've been there - but it's still gay to say you feel someone's pain. Yeah, no one can REALLY know just how someone feels - but everyone can always relate to each other somehow. from eowyn86 :
Your question made me think a lot about the movie "It's a wonderful life", where George Bailey is able to see what his town and friends would be like if he hadn't existed. You've probably seen that movie before...but if you haven't, go rent it now! I think everyone has a purpose in life, and that purpose is to serve God - the details which can never be expressed in a phrase or even a paragraph. Sometimes I want a two-word answer when I wonder what my purpose is, but I'm so glad it's more detailed than that. I think you definitely have the gift of encouragement - that's one of your purposes anyway, and it's a very good one :-) *Laura*
from myownjourney :
I'm thirty-three years old and still struggle with that question everyday of my life. I tried reading 40 days of purpose by rick warren but that didn't seem to asnwer the question. I don't know why your here Ms. Beth. But I'm glad you are. And I'd be willing to bet that there are people out there in the real world who know you who are thankful that your alive and walking around also. Maybe the question isn't what your purpose is as much as what you want it to be. I'm thinking God put something on your heart. He did mine. I'm just in denial. And the quote on my profile by the way is from Sydney J. Harris. He's an author i've never read but found his quote somewhere out there. I thought it was a good question. :) Anyway. How did the interview go? - Ricky
from juli-anne :
Ooo! Great questions. First off, I don't know what the purpose is yet on why I'm alive. (and still alive at that!) I'm struggling to figure it out and I'd like to believe that it's for a greater purpose. I think that you are alive for many reasons. I think you are influential, motivational, and a great person. Somehow you are going to use these talents to change people's lives. Seriously! When I read you diary and about your beliefs, it makes me think about my own. You will probably incorporate that feeling. I can see that you have the same effect on other people by the huge volume of support you get. Does this make any sense? PS-sorry I haven't been around but I'm finally back! I've been slacking on my reading/notes.
from yo-bitch :
why did i click 'done!' when i wasn't? try not to worry too much about what purpose you may or may not have, because it doesn't seem like that's the point of the whole living thing - you know, trying to answer those silly 'why am i here?' questions. eventually they just get in the way and totally consume you. pretty annoying to deal with that, you know?
from yo-bitch :
you speak of starbucks. i just burned myself on hot chocolate. COINCIDENCE? probably.

from darktwilite :
Don't worry, I'm not in the Christmas Spirit either at the moment. My pastor was talking about something this morning though, and it sounded kind of cool. You throw Jesus a birthday party. Invite a bunch of people over and have a HUGE party. My mom says that when I was little we used to make a cake, and not cookies. But anyway; he said it gets you in the spirit, and is a cool way of remembering what christmas is all about. So yeah. I'm thinking about doing that. Anyway, sorry I've not been around lately, but since I am a dolt, I actually kept checking your old diary, before I realized (again) that you moved. *facepalm* Man, I am so dumb sometimes. Well, gotta go, cheerio!

Good diet? Stretch, exercise, walk, jog, swim. That and eat in moderation as well as watch what you eat.
from lightmytorch :
I fell asleep. :( But yes, your profile comment for me is so awesome. I thank you greatly. Now I'm off to write that email (wink) See ya! - Jason

I guess I'm the odd girl out. I LOVE tic-tacs. They have a strange unique flavor.
from lightmytorch :
You're so funny, among other stuff that you are I like your sense of humor, because you see, most people don't get my jokes. Or they tell me I suck. lol. Well I'm gonna write you back soonly but I gotta eat/etc. first. Love, Jason

from hardcorefan- :
Yay!!! Going back to your "Once Upon a Time Entry", I totally know what you mean and how you feel...the exact (well, close) reason I started my new diary, so rock on!
from juli-anne :
Hello there girlie, just stopping by to see how you are doing because I haven't been around for quite a few days. I hope you had a good weekend. :)
from darktwilite :
Ah. I see. I started a new diary once. It was cool, but then I came back to the one I'm on now. Of course, now I move every so often, just to try things out. But nothing can beat diaryland. And that Stacy lady sounds like an oddball. Who INVENTS a twin? At that age? I mean, I draw comics with me and my friends, but THAT is just odd. Period. ANYWHO, I'm thankful for a lot of things. Family, friends, creativity, the world. Good stuff.
from hamiltonian :
It was alright... the week though was a bummer. I have been ill with this stomach problem and my friends murder has just clouded everything...; Now here is the worst news: every year something HORRIBLE and life changing happens to me in december(really it does every year)...
from darktwilite :
Hello hello, and welcome back! I was wondering if you would turn up. But why did you leave in the first place? And yes, laps ARE awesome. lol.
from hamiltonian :
the key here is HAD

from lightmytorch :
Sweet. :D
from lightmytorch :
Okay :) Well I did reply, I tried so hard to make it express my ideas without upsetting you (cause I did mention that I don't feel like a good enough Christian, my brother is offended when I say that so I don't know) I <3 ya! Jason
from lightmytorch :
(gets guilty again) I'm gonna reply to your email now.. (looks up then down again at the floor) I can move you if you want me to.. (puppy dog eyes at you)

from lightmytorch :
Nah, my comment for you was so dang true. But you're in the middle cause... aww... yeah... guilt trip... (looks away embarrassed for a moment) No cause like, I moved everyone to random spots, and that way it would be random! I am excited to see your email reply, you really are a sweetie, and a big help, so thank you for everything, and I'll talk back at ya soon :) Jason
from hamiltonian :
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
from lightmytorch :
You can use any of my ideas you want, they're not copyrighted you know ;) The start of your new diary is refreshing, I know you've been knocked down some but now is your time to get back up, and as you get up I'll get you some water or some gatorade or something to rebuild your energy. How's that for a metaphor! Hehe. I'm muchly excited for you.
from hamiltonian :
Hmmmm.. thanks for letting me know about this journal Bethany!
from juli-anne :
