from culotte :
welcome to the wonderful world of fashion. Sucks, huh?
from culotte :
I thought beagles had floppy ears! And I just realized that I inadvertantly made a Three's Company reference. Regal Beagle. I didn't mean to invoke John Ritter, Suzanne Somers or the Black Haired one.
from bethb :
what are some good arts-jobs resources for KC?
from culotte :
Dude, please explain what is so enviable about my life? And that Next Big Thing link rocks. I'm going to enter the cashmere panties.
from oh-sweet-pea :
i just finished "runaway" a little while ago and loved it. i've got a stack of overdue library books just waiting for me to finish up and lucky me that my husband can erase all my late fees! wheeeeee.
from bluebarb :
yeah! And, also, wtf?! I am all about cupcakes and other homemade sweetness, but ding-dongs? and I seriously doubt SHE made those for her wedding....and still fit into the dress. mmmm spoon-licking.....
from jinkymarvels :
i clicked on your lime banner and am already hooked!
from jennyj :
Cupcakes are the past, present, future and eternity of my very being.
from princessreva :
wow - it's supposed to taste that way?? Iwant to go into advertising too! I could be all honest and junk! "You're right, this is so bad for you but one won't hurt and it'll probably make you feel better for 12 minutes anyway." I see the industry calling me....;)
from bethb :
i can't wait 'til chachi is on arrested development. although i have a feeling i'll get his character's name stuck in my head. it already is. bob loblaw.
from jennyj :
Oh look, hurray again! Congratulations!
from jennyj :
Hurray!
from jennyj :
Oh lord, hurry with the photos already.
from oh-sweet-pea :
thanks for the sweet words!
from jennyj :
Crikey, I have NO IDEA. I'm sure it was something incredibly witty and insightful you said once.
from jennyj :
Apples? What apples? I hope you come here soon then. He would suit my friend's night in Manchester. Hurry up with the label business.
from jennyj :
Will Mike Ireland ever come play in England?
from jennyj :
Look at your brilliant pooping back and forth links!
from jennyj :
I was crying with laughter in the vomit scene too. WHY WON'T IT STOP? Also, imho Nuts in May is the best Mike Leigh film and you don't need to see any others.
from jennyj :
Wow, are you going to get the Escher chain of dogs to throw a yard sale?
from oh-sweet-pea :
i love him any which way! he's my all-time hottie.
from normaltoilet :
i hear ya, the save vs. spend dilemma is always a tough one
from jennyj :
Wow, is that how people do fainting? Did you see how the girl at the end made her mouth like a cat's bottom? Yuk.
from jennyj :
Oh dear I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry. Argh.
from jennyj :
See! Hot booby sisters across the Atlantic.
from oh-sweet-pea :
thanks for the recommendation, i'll definitely put a hold on it at the lib.
from ok-pc :
i'll reinforce the fact that the banners do work, even though everyone else did about 5938 times. so, i'll make my note somewhat unique by using random, arbitrary numbers. also, your page CREEPED ME OUT. not that you're a creepy person or anything, but this is weird. i was reading your "past five entries" thing, and the title of your entry on feb 18 was "fickle," the SAME AS MINE WAS ON THAT EXACT SAME DAY! now, if that's not creepy, i don't know what is. mind you, your entry was not quite as bitter as mine (i was having a really bad day), but i still think that's weird. great diary, by the way. keep it up!
from normaltoilet :
yes, the banners still work because that's how i got to your page :) Love your layout too!
from hissandtell :
Ah! I see you adore handbags. You'd love Spencer and Rutherford's (and Alannah Hill's) designs, I suspect. If you feel inclined, do check out my birthday entry at http://hissandtell.diaryland.com/041222_49.html , which gives a link to them. R.
from hissandtell :
Hi - I clicked on your banner and appear to be joining the long list of people I know who are assuring you that banners do work! And yes, I think weenie-wagger is the legal term. And I have to tell you that I adore Kris Kristofferson (who may in fact be my perfect man - Oxford scholar, Blake thesis, boxing champion, WOOF - oh, and Janis Joplin told all her friends to give him a throw because he was the best one she'd ever had), and Tom and Johnny, too. Oh, and Pink lady apples. And Hitchcock's "Frenzy", which sent us and all our houseguests into groaning "Lovely!" for months on end. Gosh, we Capricorns have so much in common! I shall be sure to come back to read more. Love, R xxx
from sunnflower :
Yup, banners work! You should click on some too. I have found lots of great diary reads that way.
from crazy4muffin :
Banners? We don't need no stinkin banners! Yep, they work kiddo.
from candoor :
yes banners work, I am proof... your writing inspired my smile... I hope your goat feels better.
from wench77 :
yo! yo! I got here via your banner so yes they work. The knit purl one. liked all the links to pillows and bedframes, the description of the orange leopardprint workout gal and the valentine was great. Best annoying pinkredheart thing I've seen all week. Cheers! oh yeah, i love Fargo too. And Tom Waits. tah!
from jennyj :
1989 was when A Room With A View came out then, right? And wait - YOU FANCIED DENNIS WATTS? ARE YOU MAD?
from oh-sweet-pea :
oh my goodness, i totally forgot to respond to your note about the dland template. i've never made one for someone else (other than a good friend of mine from the real-live world), but i'm also not in a position to say no! email me if you'd like: [email protected]
from jennyj :
Lovely lovely do!
from oh-sweet-pea :
and it's quite simple to make a skirt out of pants. cut pants to desired length of skirt and then un-stitch the inside seam. use left over material (from the cast-off legs you didn't want for length or other pretty fabric) and sew that into the pants to make a skirt. i'm pretty bad at directions, but i'm sure you can find a better tutorial at craftster!
from oh-sweet-pea :
sounds like a lovely, lovely birthday!
from jennyj :
I'm not pleased to hear that about Natalie Portman and Closer, because I was really looking forward to it. I saw the play when Kate Ashfield was the Portman character and she was perfect. But I am a big fan of her's (see also: Shaun of the Dead, The Low Down, Late Night Shopping ... what do you mean you've not heard of them?) Oh well, at least there's Owen's pants to look forward to.
from omnipre5ence :
Happy Christmas to you too. Just a observation, but are you British by any chance? :)
from oh-sweet-pea :
i noticed you had added me and then i checked out your diary and you had such nice words about me! i must have sensed my ears were burning!
from bluebarb :
is it bad that i found you? i hope not because i very much enjoy the new design and seeing pics
from jennyj :
Ha ha ha! Yes that's pretty much how I looked. Lovely!
from jennyj :
The 'mean looking one on the right' looks like a David Shrigley pumpkin!
