Yay for not getting tickets! I've only got one for supposedly running a stop sign like an idiot when a cop was right there. But I went to court for it, and the cop suddenly got amnesia regarding the event. God bless short-term-memory-challenged police men.

well.. i grew up in germany. not as cold as canada but it gets quite chilly there. so australia is pretty sweet to me. i just wish they would spend more money on insulation and doors and windows would shut properly. but then again... i'm loving it here so i shouldn't complain.

yeah i'm in australia. down in the south. in melbourne to be precise. it does get cold but ever since i moved here it hasn't snowed in the city limits. it snows in the alps and you can go skiing there. usually it doesn't go below zero degrees. i'd say between 5 and 8 degrees is the coldest it gets during nights. you're in the states? where abouts?

the show was awesome. I was really close but being short made it hard to see, which I guess didn't really matter because I just wanted to listen and dance any way. I crowd surfed at one point which was ridiculous. so it was a good time. and the band partied with everyone afterwards. I didn't hang out because I had to deal with other things, but I heard from many people that they were really cool. and super drunk. and apparently good at beer pong. and kevin was real fucked up.. someone guessed acid and another guessed coke. mumbling about the birds being beautiful and whatnot haha. but it was a good time! I should have taken advantage of them being around at that party but oh well.

Hey, so I realize this note is coming probably a little too quickly after you wrote your last entry but it's because of DiaryLand's recent public entries box that is right in my face and my nosiness to read the interesting-sounding ones. Anyway, I just have to say that I also think Neutral Milk Hotel is fucking amazing so kudos for good taste. I'm also a big fan of Of Montreal. They're actually playing at my college this Friday. I don't know why I'm telling you all of this but if you're anything like me you might appreciate it? Take care.
