from raven72d :
whatever became of DonnaIsBlue?
from raven72d :
always stay in touch. you do matter.
from raven72d :
I'm glad you're there. I hope you'll stay in touch!
from raven72d :
still out there anywhere?
from raven72d :
do give us a wink!
from pondlife :
You have suitors, be a doll and give us a wink if nothing else?
from raven72d :
5 June 16 I hope you're doing well...
from raven72d :
How are you these days?
from pondlife :
Remember to build your wings on the way down.
from raven72d :
still out there at all?
from raven72d :
still out there?
from raven72d :
update!
from pondlife :
You could never be a monster, not really. You're right about Cathy though, I'd thought it myself. Reading anything else these days?
from raven72d :
I love liminal seasons. And I miss hearing from you.
from pondlife :
Thoreau had a name for it, but it just isn't coming to mind right now, this observation of the subtle, and not so subtle seasonal changes. I'm sad for you tonight. Where is he off to, and for how much longer?
from pondlife :
Yeah well, Micronesia was in thought only. And with each day that passes I'm less inclined to desire it. Red flags are flying up left and right. But wait, what's this I see? Notice the proximity of Queensland and Yap? Hmmm...
from pondlife :
I need an update on our metaphoric love child, do we have a bump yet atleast??
from raven72d :
good--- i prefer it strictly as a metaphor. you still have questions to answer for me.
from raven72d :
pregnant? well! (And you still have questions I've posed to answer...)
from pondlife :
Semantic pragmatic disorder at work, I completely missed the metaphore. Well then, I'm still happy for you. And thrilled by the fact that a pregnancy was discussed and for once I was not to blame!
from pondlife :
OMG. Congratulations! How are you, are you feeling okay?
from pondlife :
Not very vegetarian at all. Most of the time I'm happy to eat seafood. Last night was obviously the result of having imbibed far too much liquor and chemicals. Not to mention being angry at Robert. The threat of entering private treatment is being discussed- or rather shouted about these days. Ya know, that was a really horrible post, I should delete it.
from pondlife :
So, next play date on the moors...?
from pondlife :
Everyone sing it together now: Alex has a mangina! Alex has a mangina! Wasn't that fun????
from pondlife :
And having quoted her I am now officially a woman. Or at the very least a gay man. Right then, I need to find the nearest Greek village so that I may violate sorority girls, thereby restoring my status as a real man :) Thanks for the hugs&kisses!
from pondlife :
Oh no, anything but haiku. It pisses me off no end. Let's write out propositions instead, across hips and thighs. And later we'll recite Song of Solomon to each other across the length of a bubble-filled porcelain tub. You know, it's notions such as this that cause me to truly resent the absence of a female body beside me at night. What's new over there these days?
from raven72d :
i like the Good Doctor entry... i wish you'd tell me those stories.
from pondlife :
Let me know if you want a password.
from pondlife :
Again, I can only disappoint you Catherine. But are the moors really lost to us forever now? All those long and lonely hours spent asking the sea for answers that never came, when all you had to do was call.
from raven72d :
i love the 03 November entry.
from raven72d :
one misses you...
from pondlife :
Show me no sympathy, I'm already swimming in my own pool of self pity. It's been quite taxing trying to recover knowing this other business is looming ahead of me. Thanks for the huggles, I need them!
from raven72d :
write write write, beautiful!
from pondlife :
Who was teasing? Thought you had enough on your mind these days, but if you're game so am I. Sorry about the videos, didn't realise you couldn't watch. They're the perfect camoflage to hide behind, without them I'd have to actually write something. Horrors.
from pondlife :
A sudden and unshakable desire to flirt has come over me, let's begin a torrid internet affair. Better yet, a literate three way between you, me, and raven72d. We'll show Norman Mailer a thing or two, we will. Oh, wait, he's dead isn't he? So we'll wake him in his grave, wishing he'd thought of it first!
from raven72d :
Eggs = over easy. Runny. Served next to highly-seasoned hash browns.
from z0tl :
*yawn* maybe he should change his name to crow?-)
from raven72d :
That may be. But they aren't exactly throwing themselves into my bed just to be near my intelligence. I want to be thought fuckable--- randomly, immediately, physically. My supposed intelligence hasn't done anything for me.
from raven72d :
i'm glad we exchanged e-mails last night...
from raven72d :
i did just send an e-mail...
from raven72d :
you haunt well, i think.
from raven72d :
i think that as much as i like moors, i prefer high desert...
from raven72d :
many thanks, bella!
from pondlife :
I am unforgivably drunk at the moment and if you don't say you love me I'll have a pout. I'm not even joking.
from venusianfire :
z0tl, you're a brat! I am still here, at the waters edge, one toe in....words are imminent....
from z0tl :
oh the volpukian hedgehog still loves you... heartthrobbin'
from pondlife :
Come away from the water Cathy, the waves are much too high.
from raven72d :
do update...
from raven72d :
i miss literatim, too.
from raven72d :
what ever became of you?
from z0tl :
of course, i'm such an illiterate that i didn't even realize van gogh lived in netherlands and rimbaud in ethiopia or some other such supposed country as algeria? it's all europe to me :) plus afrikaans is a lot like dutch, so i think we're all on common ground here, neh? if in doubt, ask the small pika of raven72d, that guy's the encyclopedia googlica on wheel:z!
from z0tl :
dawnisbloo is in france now, having coffee with rimbaud, strolling in parks with van gogh, emo stuff liek that like. send her a postcard. her addy is listed at her LJ, i have it if you can't find it. she'll be happy to hear from you in a handwritten note. signature in your blood a must! it's nice to know you and soph are still tightly knit together. cheerio:z!
from literatim :
...that place needed to be erased (sometimes sanity requires a pawn and harmony demands a sacrifice); this place is much less "on" than that one even though I did love that one dearly.
from literatim :
...did you know this space cannot be deleted? well, tis so, so here I must be, I s'pose. We, my dear friend, could never be deleted (just in case you were fearful).
from pondlife :
Ian is doing great, he's back home and much happier. I feel horrible that the crying had gotten the better of me, all of us really. Anyway things are looking up. I can't say how long the hospitality will last, but Robert has allowed me to continue using his aol account. So the email is the same-Adama Inferi.
from pondlife :
We know what the trouble was now, a brachial plexus injury. He was turned in an odd fashion and his shoulder was forced against her pelvic bone. He doing much better now but has to stay there at the hospital for the rest of this week.
from pondlife :
Have you breasts that will feed this bottomless pit? Because honestly love, it's THE ONLY time he doesn't have something to proclaim at the top of his lungs.
from pondlife :
Perish the thought Pira, I've only ever assisted in nappy changes. Christian Danes' nanny has returned and I'm almost inclined to go back to Sri Lanka for a while. I wonder which one of them would find and kill me first, Lucianna or the nanny. FedEx you say? Hmmm...
from pondlife :
Challege accepted, but I'll have to dig deep to come up with something more exciting than diaper changes and sleep deprivation. Lord in heaven, this child does not sleep.
from pondlife :
Thanks, he's really beautiful. And loud! What have you got up to lately??
from pondlife :
I take the stupid award this time, I don't have that isp anymore. I'll send you something with my name in the subject line.
from raven72d :
I have missed hearing from you.
from pondlife :
Ah, but webs can be swept away. This scenario will be around for at least the next eighteen years. I'm not unhappy. Not about her, or becoming a father again. I'm lonely for faces and voices I've always known and that are now only memories. This is what family means now; a man, a woman, a child. And in May we welcome a new child, a boy. Apparently last summer wrought lasting changes to the household. A hurricane tried to erase Jaeden's New Orleans and a divorce is now pending in his absence. I finally got my act together on a remote, tiny island-but not before having a brief holiday with the girlfriend in Italy, the consequences of which will be anything but brief. And to wrap it all up my partner of almost ten years threw in the towel, leaving me with a few words of advice and wishes for a happy future. How was your summer Pira? Send something if you don't mind, I'm not sure I have the correct email for you. Love, always.
from pondlife :
Oh my god, she does exist.
from z0tl :
u guys still live at livejournal or somewheres? am in no position to keep up with journals yet, as i barely have enough juice to update my sorry collection of insanities once in a blue moon, but wanted to say hi. hope all's well. hug:z!
from pondlife :
You temptress you. I'm delighted, of course. One question: which door? Red ribbon and italics, you shouldn't have. Yes, same address. Miss the late night chats, we have to catch up on so many things, soon.
from pondlife :
Around, yes, and close. Have you heard of Ambon, Seram? We're practically in the same time zone-at least until Saturday evening, then it's back to Lunuganga. By the way, I'm curious what Roberta is up to these days.
from pondlife :
I've known a darkened eve or two out on the wiley, windy moors. And you, isn't it time you came home Cathy?
from pondlife :
Italy, two months, home now. How are you?
from luciangrey :
Livid visuals. Thank you.
from bjbear :
Hi. I miss you.
from miss-shirty :
Wow. I'm completely in love with your diary and I've only just started reading. :)
from tofalldivine :
Beautiful entry. Can writing be sexy? because that surely was. Also, slightly frightening. Thought I'd pop by and say I enjoyed it though.
from raven72d :
Are you writing again?
from livingwreck :
Brilliant idea! Thank you. I was thinking of getting rid of the guestbook but didn't even think about needing a diary to leave notes. The only drawback is there's a lot of nice words in the gbook that I really don't want to delete. But yes, I may just have to. Thanks again.
from livingwreck :
Living there you do deserve to move to Queensland. Or anywhere else you wish.
from livingwreck :
Down southish...Melbourne. And you? (If you want to tell me, of course.)
from watercolored :
Apologies all 'round for the entry soon to be posted, skip it if you like.
from donnaisblue :
oh! you must show me when its finished!
from watercolored :
Not I, not at all. Or so it would seem. I've had occasion to wonder though. During a time I thought to escape that which binds me still, I took a lover (not my own) and found to my horror that I'd assumed my Dominant's mannerisms. So disconcerting this was that I sent him away immediately. If the fine details and exact nuance of this incident ever assemble into something presentable I will probably place it here, where all my other demons dwell.
from watercolored :
Hope you'll forgive my inability to articulate it any better, I simply find it intoxicating. 100 Proof, no chaser.
from luciangrey :
... Mm. Thank you, for the additional words in this regard. So Very appropriate.
from watercolored :
Actually, I've finally pulled my head out of my ass and realised it doesn't matter who thinks what. A friend who is removed from this said to me yesterday that "at the end of the day it's your diary" and I intend to resume using it in the way I had before. I'm not leaving, let them leave. Thank you for your kind words, again.
from watercolored :
Beautiful, as always.
from raven72d :
Write soon! I miss hearing from you!
from bjbear :
Thank you for welcoming me back! It made me smile and I don't mind good thoughts or wishes. : ) I really like Kali, Bridget, Navajo Woman. That one has bite. I can't explain it any other way. - bj
from parlance :
The bait tastes like strawberries -- watch out.
from parlance :
I am advertising myself.
from gods :
will the 6th of you please stand up? croisement? that would mean you leave notes to yourself. diseased indeed >:]
from watercolored :
Thank you for adding me as a favourite, and for the lovely comment as well, I'm honoured you enjoy it.
from white-linen :
archive links up.. along with an entry (red dwarf quote ;) )
from morrigen :
I *must* read the little prince....that quote was awesome. wow.
from demi-monde :
*blush*
from demi-monde :
because there is a new password.. demi has not been reincarnated.. i'm simply borrowing the space temporarily for something mundane..
from raven72d :
Snakes are...too close to Cthulhoids.
from raven72d :
The Brenchley is excellent. And your writing keeps me spellbound.
from raven72d :
"Pani" is such a beautiful entry...
from raven72d :
The Brenchley hasn't made it through Interlibrary Loan yet... But your Porn Name does work rather well. I like "vinyl jackets and tight cord flares" as an image... Oddly-- I was just thinking of cords, of getting a pair or two of vur' English Country House cords... Have you read Liza Dalby's "Tale of Murasaki" or Donald Richie's "Memoirs of the Warrior Kumagai"?
from tathagres :
you always make sense... so articulate is venus.. alway - except in z0tl's notes but i'm sure thats due to his oblique nature rubbing off! ;)
from bjbear :
I appreciate what you said in my guestbook and I'm honored to now be a favorite entry! That really made my day. And I think your daughter is lucky to have you.
from bjbear :
I enjoy your work. Its lyrical. I'll definitely keep in touch. -bj
from raven72d :
E-mail me about Brenchley, if you get a chance...
from raven72d :
and the newest entry is haunting... I always listen to the wind.
from raven72d :
Your entries are always fun... I'd love to sit and have a drink and talk with you for hours...
from raven72d :
Brenchley? I'll have to look those up.
from raven72d :
Outremer, Ultremar... It was the name for the Crusader kingdoms in the Near East... Templars carved it on the rings they wore... Beyond-the-Sea-- a lovely name for a land unseen...
from z0tl :
i would visit but i can't because the 73.5d makes me puke on sight. sorry. i love your writing tho :z
from letaboo :
. . . and I'm glad you like the layout. I wouldn't have picked it if I thought it sucked. I'm just tired of all the white.
from letaboo :
I'm honored that you've added me to your favorites list. You have such powerful writing: I still have yet to read much from your archives because I have to do it slowly, like eating dark chocolate.
from raven72d :
The dark is soft and kind and gentle...
from raven72d :
Flanellette... I like that thought.
from raven72d :
Mystery is always good. I rather like your views.
from raven72d :
Galleries of memory... I hope you'll tell me more... No girl I've known has had a negligee... They slept naked or slept in one of my buttondowns... But I can see girls I've loved standing in one of my dress shirts or sweaters...
from raven72d :
I still have ticket stubs from long-ago concerts and films, letters girls wrote me in university, and postcards I bought in Savannah when I was twelve...
from raven72d :
Renovation is far more Baroque...and Postmodern...than simple reconstruction.
from raven72d :
Being consumed by one's own passion is being truly alive...
from raven72d :
I'd love to play backgammon sometime.
from raven72d :
Othello is pretty much Go...
from raven72d :
Backgammon is a wonderful game. Have you ever played Go?
from raven72d :
And I'm a believer in both Totoro and the Psyduck.
from raven72d :
I'm much more a small long-eared desert hedgehog than a Redwall hedgie.
from raven72d :
I'm glad you came by to visit... Please do return...and chat.
from raven72d :
Great entries...
from pieceofme :
this may help you: http://www.restrooms.org/standing.html - now, with a little practise, we can have it all.lol.
from pieceofme :
well, i am about to dive into the fire..wish me luck..i have to say the whole vagina thing just made me spit my scotch all over the computer screen..that was the funniest and best comment i have ever read and i hope i one day live up to it..lmao..it reminded me of that scene in fried green tomatoes...rambling...going...bye ;)
from z0tl :
i actually read your diary, can't say i keep up with your notes tho :z
from z0tl :
from tathagres :
you make me think, and in some ways that makes the job harder... but maybe now i can do it better.
from z0tl :
you are very coherent. and your views aren't compatible with the Man. and so if you keep at it, you will be called insane in short order and that can propagate a lot more than 'dumb cunt' which isn't acceptable even in the land of Man. so i'm just saying, you make your own choices and i'll stick around observing. good luck :)
from z0tl :
yess, insaneness, i am spellingly challenged. at times. inopportune ones too.
from z0tl :
will be back to check on your insaness. also, very pretty name.
