from suhaila :
Thank you so much! :-)
from scotvalkyrie :
Gah! Please send me your log-in/password so I can read your diary again. Grazie!
from jocelynface :
Opps. [email protected]
from jocelynface :
Hello, I'm not sure if you remember me, but I had a diary on here quite a few months ago, zap-jocelyn. Well, I was wondering if I could have the password. My e-mail is [email protected]
from mixedup :
knock knock. Can I come in? Email me - [email protected]
from suhaila :
Eid Mubarak! Have a good break with your husband and loved ones. :)
from suhaila :
Sorry about the temporary inconvenience. I'd wanted to test with different layouts. Anyhow, it's open again but if it's somehow locked in future, you can always use the userid and password that I'd emailed. Cheerio!
from hate-me- :
Just busy with the kids, especially now that Anika's done school. How about you? Congrats on the wedding.
from zap-jocelyn :
Thank you. I hope I do to, and I know I will. It's just, for right now, I'm going to be staying single. It feels good. It just took me a while and a lot of hard times, to realize all these things that people had already been telling me. You should read the blog that I wrote after that one. It kind of follows the first one. Well, thank you again. Toodles -Jocelyn
from scotvalkyrie :
I'm glad to read that your wedding was wonderful and everything you wanted it to be. You are welcome for the little gifts; I'm glad they arrived safely! I never considered knitted slippers to be a good stash for condoms; my cats would get into them and scatter them all over the house. Silly kitties!
from serenaville :
Thank you for your heartfelt comments, dear friend. That you understand how I feel helps me a lot, as does your unstinting support. If it ever comes to it, I will lock, though I don't foresee such in the near future. You are always welcome wherever I am and anywhere I go, for my heart is with me at all times, and you are in it. *HUGS!!!*
from suhaila :
Thanks Ms W. This week and the next few weeks will be totally full of shit. Gah.
from serenaville :
I love you too, doll. Always. ;) *HUGS!!!*
from zap-jocelyn :
can i get the password? my email is: [email protected]
from dragprincess :
"I've learnt not to beat myself too much for it, and simply look forward to the next workout session." My god, you just made me realize that there's no reason to go nuts. I'm just going to look forward to Saturday. End of story. No guilt. You completely flipped the script on me and I needed that. I owe you one.
from dana-elayne :
Ahhhh, I'm really enjoying reading your journal. Plus, another teacher to read is always fun. I hope I can get the password when you lock up again :)
from t85225 :
Hey... saw your banner and clicked. I really need to quit doing that, as there are only so many hours a day to read :p I guessed at what the connection was in your Salsa class pic, without cheating. At first, I was so disappointed when I saw that my guess of 'all members of the same native american tribe' was wrong. But hey, all members of the same salsa class is just as random, so I left that page with a smile. I'd love to continue to peek...
from zap-jocelyn :
Hello, I added you to my buddy list. Your diary is interesting, and I like a lot of the things you have to say. I deleted my MySpace account the other day, because of the same reasons you were talking about. Bye.
from serenaville :
Thank you very, VERY much for the sweet birthday wishes... I am warmed! And also cheered up, as I tend to feelings of dread and depression on this day. Who's the clever woman with a memory like a steel trap, then? I wasn't going to remind anyone, and look what a dear you are. The only trouble is, one of the people who rocks my world, is a world away in Singapore. Wish you were here to join me for dinner and drinks, doll. We'd have a ripper. Thanks again, Vina. I love you. *HUGS, and MWAAAAHHHH*
from serenaville :
On Saturday, I knew Sunday was your birthday. On Sunday, I completely and inexcusably blanked. Today, I remembered, with a huge startle and MUCH chagrin. My friend, I am so sorry to need wish you a belated happy birthday. I suck. Know you are much loved, all evidence to the contrary. (Sorry again!) I hope your day was all you wanted it to be. Happy, happy belated birthday, Vina. *HUGS*
from excowboy :
Happy birthday. :)
from alwaysange :
Happy Birthday (I know I'm a tad early but I wanted to let you know I was thinking of you before it became a belated wish). I hope your next year is your best yet. You have a lot to look forward to. :)
from hate-me- :
Hope you heal well, and enjoy those presciption painkillers they give you while they last. <3
from serenaville :
I've always pronounced it as you do, though I stress the latter syllables: 'Boo-stEE-AY', phonetically. It is also thus, according to Merriam-Webster Online. However, many naturally and unthinkingly stress the first syllable, since 'bu' is such a sharp sound. I find myself doing it from time to time, as well.
from suhaila :
I've always imagined it to be "busti-air"/"busti-ay".
from serenaville :
I SO need to know the translation of all that. I suspect it is scathing and brilliant. Even if it's not, it still looks damned impressive in that language. ;)
from serenaville :
Nancy Drew! What memories. I inherited nearly the entire set of books from an older cousin who had outgrown the series. I really liked Nancy's dark-haired friend, George. The idea of a girl named 'George' tickled me so, at the time. In general, your eloquent writing impresses, as always. I miss being in closer contact with you... *HUGS*
from dragprincess :
Hot damn! I'm coming over for dinner, because everything looked way too tasty.
from scotvalkyrie :
Oh gads, yes, the "why aren't you doing blah blah blah??" I eventually had to tell several people to hop on the Shut the Fuck Up Truck and drive it off a gotdammed cliff. Biggest offenders? My mother and my sister-in-law. Stick to your guns. We actually wrote in our very formal invitation that we wanted everyone to wear Hawaiian shirts. The sea of colors in that church was amazing and beautiful.
from impetuousme :
hey you... i only wish i could offer you comfort in these times of stress... i only wish i could offer you peace, happines and joy in the days ahead... you seem so fragile... this pinches my heart... i hope your days get lighter, that others learn to keep their suggestions to themselves, and that your wedding goes as you wish, and that others do come to see the beauty in everything you've planned... take care please, and did you get the e-mail i sent you? and despite the tears, i think the picture you posted shows one truly beautiful girl... mk.. ? hugs, Sam
from scotvalkyrie :
Oh, my dear, you experienced a wedding wobbly! Aren't they FUN? I really don't want to seem superficial about them however, as this time, while full of joy and excitement, is also full of the kinds of stress that a person should take medication for. I had two that I remember, and both of them centered around the simple fact that I was getting MARRIED. My future laid itself out in front me and scared the living jibblies out of me, regardless of how much love I felt with the Hubster. And part of it was a loss of a certian kind of individuality -- I would soon be someone's "wife" and all the ramifications that went with it. Your dress fabric sounds lovely, though. And really, why is gown fabric so damn busy anyway?
from suhaila :
Re-opened suhaila@diaryland. :)
from hushangelz :
Hi Dear, I just realised that your diary is locked :( Could I have the reader's username and password so that I can still read it? Thanks and have a great day ahead :)
from suhaila :
Congrats!!
from alwaysange :
Congratulations on setting a date! It's not all that far off! Blessings to you and K!
from hate-me- :
congrats <3
from scotvalkyrie :
May is a lovely time to get married! I hope the planning goes well for you. Remember to ask people for help and cash in all those favors you've been collecting!
from dklwm :
Yea. Got it. I'm considering locking my entries too, but hell, no one reads me anyways, so what the heck hee hee. Happy belated Christmas and new year. Family dynamics are complicated I tell you, mine included. I think my family is the only thing left I couldn't bring myself to write about. There's no end to it, if you know what I mean. Maybe, one day. Friendship is a strange thing. People come, people go. Part of life. It's difficult, but it's there. Sometimes, I don't know what a friend is. Worrying huh? Feels scary losing touch with people.
from scotvalkyrie :
Thank you for the email! It looks like you had a nice family holiday. I wish you all the best in the new year! I promise to keep posting as many goofy photos as I can find!
from suhaila :
Hey, you can leave me an email. suhaila AT diaryland DOT com. I'm just experimenting with some changes to the layout. :)
from serenaville :
Thank you for the password info! I had a momentary fit of panic, then the sudden calm thought: "No... check your e-mail", came. Sure enough, the info. Faith is a glorious thing to have! Your e-mail made me smile. All best to you and yours. *HUGS* :)
from hate-me- :
merry christmas. <3
from suhaila :
Congrats to your sister! I was from a single-sex school too, so I've heard all the taunts and comments. I think I turned out okay. Certainly not deprived. That's just a mental state. Haha.
from serenaville :
Oh, hon. Know I'm thinking about you, and sending you positive energy and strength during your time of ennui. Been there. It gets better, though it might not seem so now. *HUGS*, my friend.
from suhaila :
Get well soon!
from dklwm :
Same reason man, I suspect, same reason. I thought I was the only person in this bloody universe who realised the missing bins. On more than a few occasions I went hunting for bins to no avail. Damn those idiots, they think rubbish bins are the only places we can plant bombs.
from dragprincess :
somedays, "ok" is about all you can ask for.
from dklwm :
I like the one about the singlehood. Feels almost as if it's written for me. He he he.
from impetuousme :
Amen . . .
from alwaysange :
I love this entry. Good for you, putting everything in such wise perspective! And truly, you deserve the happiness you have found with K. I am one who will always root for you two.
from impetuousme :
Wow, what an entry. I'm so glad I found you. I love that you write so well, and have things to say. Go you.
from alwaysange :
Congrats on setting the date! I can't wait to hear all about the blessed event. :)
from sloshblob :
hey hey hey! i'm still reading this space. have a post on my blog specially for you (well, bit of it at least). keep sane and healthy okay? love, samantha.
from leftunspoken :
'luck' has nothing to do with it. people as special as you are meant to be loved madly. bless you both. happy thanksgiving.
from somstar :
I wish I made enough money to afford a plane ticket!
from leftunspoken :
No clue how to type an appreciative whistle so instead: WooHoo, Yea Sparklies!
from dragprincess :
girl, that rock is OVAH! way to score on the jewels.
from impetuousme :
nice rock :)
from scotvalkyrie :
Much happiness to you both: May you both be blessed with the future of your choice, and may you both have a thousand reasons to rejoice! Yes, it's from "Fiddler on the Roof", but it's one of my favorites! Many blessings to you and K.
from serenaville :
Official congratulations, my friend!! Please pass on my warmest well-wishes to your dear K. Huzzah! *HUGS!!!* :)
from suhaila :
Congrats!! :-D
from impetuousme :
Congratulations!!! Good luck to both of you. Laugh, cry, enjoy. --- Sam
from alwaysange :
Congratulations, darling!!! (Fun now, details later).
from suhaila :
And yes, Eid Mubarak to you eh.
from suhaila :
Very VERY true on that friendship entry. Things aren't so simple when we're older cos the people become more complicated? I guess.
from impetuousme :
Thanks for the post, and adding you was a no-brainer. Your journal is a pleasure to read. So thank YOU, for sharing with us, your words. And I will definity be reading you from now on too. --- Sam
from alwaysange :
I don't blame you! Hooray, that is wonderful! I would count down the days too.
from alwaysange :
Sorry you've got a cold. I hope you feel 100% better pronto.
from alwaysange :
*too = two, but also too!
from alwaysange :
I love that you get to see K in a month. I'm totally rooting for you too.
from suhaila :
That was beautiful.
from suhaila :
Your latest entry made me sit back and reflect. Sigh. And now I miss my man.
from hushangelz :
Hey sweetie, I removed your old diary link from my faves list because it's not your updated one. I didn't know if it was ok to add this new diary link of yours to my profile since you mentioned you didn't really want anyone finding this diary :) Anyway, if you give me the go ahead, I'll add this link to my profile. Just wanted to clarify that you're still on my faves list but I wasn't sure if adding this new diary of yours to my public profile was alright with you. Let me know soon :)
from serenaville :
Brava, darling! Now, you're more than ready for your karaoke debut at Tokes' Joint! Every Thursday, from 7:00-11:00pm. I don't have to work that night, so we can get wasted and rock out together to any female-singer song you want. I'm willing to abase myself for you! So, when can you get here? ;) *HUGS*
from dragprincess :
And I'm up for a duet!
from suhaila :
Happy Teachers Day!
from todayiamfree :
Hey, theres no password for my diary at the moment, I'm reworking it... it will be back online soon... x x x James
from suhaila :
You're such an inspiration! *hugs*
from dklwm :
Yea can pass hee.. thanks... how's it going? Let's meet. How about later? I'm a bit happier I guess.. and yet, and yet..... I'm still sad
from suhaila :
Very true (with regards to your other diary post). I'm the eldest too.
from serenaville :
I am here for you, my friend. Always. If you have need, just shout... I check my e-mail frequently. Much love, and strength, to you meanwhile. *HUGS*
from leftunspoken :
"Void deck" sounds very Star Wars. Pretty picture.
from dklwm :
Mind if I make a hyper-link in my blog to your site? No worries, no one reads me :)
from dragprincess :
well! today, you certainly stuck it to The Man! sometimes, it just feels good to yell.
from suhaila :
Thanks for the note. It lifted me up. :)
from dragprincess :
am now completely addicted to your guilty pleasure website.
from scotvalkyrie :
The strength of your loyalty and the depth of your disdain when betrayed shows only all the more of how much of a water sign you are! Go Aquarius/Pisces cusp dwellers!
from serenaville :
Oh. my. GOD. You and I are total carbon copies, when it comes to all you wrote in your entry 'Cold'. Everything you described hits home so acutely right now, it isn't even funny. As if I needed another reason to know you and I would get on like gangbusters. It makes me miss being in close contact with you even more. To that end, I have a plan. Will be in touch! Love you! *HUGS!!*
from leftunspoken :
Gosh, honey, I'm so sorry all that is going on. Be careful okay!
from dklwm :
2 of Murakami! Waita go man. Did you like Dance Dance Dance? I can't believe I read it the second time. Which 2 books did you get? You like him? Some don't, I can understand that. Trying to get into Kiriro's Out according to your recommendations. Good, reading is good!
from alwaysange :
I love books too. :) Sounds ideal!
from dklwm :
I agree fully. Ironically, the older one grows, the younger one becomes. One become increasingly selective and decisive of what one likes and dislikes. It's good. It means we are coming to terms with who we are. Our books are actually defining our identities by an inner witness. Something about the writer, or her story, resonates, moves inside us. Teenagers will be teenagers. I myself used to loathe what I really love now. Haven't gotten about Harry Potter though.
from hate-me- :
Yeah I'm still here, barely but still here. I love and miss you, too.
from scotvalkyrie :
Life is always on God's time, not ours. Of course, if you were more cynical you could say that we make plans and God just laughs! Hang in there!
from serenaville :
Thank you, thank you, THANK you for the comments, notes, and e-mails -- which, yes, I never got for being incommunicado. Just knowing you tried to keep in contact means the world. Visits can be rescheduled, but I am damned sad I missed yours in June. Don't let's lose touch ever again, hey? We'll have to trade snail mail and phone info sometime. Or, maybe look into a Webphone service to save money on calling cards. Something. We'll work on it. Just know you are, and have constantly been, in heart and mind. Even Net.death cannot stop true friendship! I'll thwip ya an e-mail soon. Love, and many overdue *HUGS!!!*, -K.
from leftunspoken :
If I promise to comb your hair, and bake you something yummy, and listen to your favorite music, and let you play with my paints...will you come to West Texas and put on your bathing suit so that it will rain really hard and long while we listen to it and watch it with the door to the balcony open? You can go home after a few days, I promise. I just need a small break from the sunshine and consistent 105 temperatures. Too much sunshine is bad for a person. (It is far too demanding, and doesn't allow any beautifully gloomy days to soothe me.)
from scotvalkyrie :
Actually, my birthday is February 21, but it's close enough to both water signs to know that I am all wet. :^) Have a wonderful day!
from leftunspoken :
Oh, honey...pretty sparklies on a pretty girl are always a good thing. Nothing pagan about it. Much love, M
from scotvalkyrie :
I am supposedly one of those God-believers and even I believe in other powers of the universe. Is there such a thing as a Pagan Catholic? Who knows. I wear amethyst as a protection against drunkeness but it never seems to work for me. And how do you KNOW that a newborn mouse WASN'T tossed down your throat as you slept? I've woken up with a skydiving-from-the-ceiling cockroach in my mouth. EEEWWW.
from todayiamfree :
thanks for playing! I had no idea anyone would actually do it.. x
from dragprincess :
and i had no idea that one of my favorite diaryists looked so good in slinky costumes! if things don't work out with K (and you decide to switch teams), give me a call...
from dklwm :
Yeah I read it it's good. Check out his Norwegian Wood man... it will blow you away@@@@@ :)
from dragprincess :
i'm a big believer in signs from god and that song playing was a sign. how amazing is that?
from suhaila :
Hey, it's been a while. Caught up with your entries and wow! I'm really proud of how you managed to travel through the streets of NY on your own. I'm happy for you, not only because of that, but because of your determination and effort in making that city as familiar as possible to you. I guess in a few years' time, maybe I'll be reading about your life there. :-) Hopefully.
from dklwm :
Thank goodness you found your bag. Shows that there may be many evil dishonest people in this world, but at least a few good men. Wish you the best for everything. Invite me to wedding ya, that is, if it's in Singapore la, ha ha. New York cannot fly there la, no money. Hang in there, don't give up. Saying this to myself too.
from todayiamfree :
Hey, hows it going? Thanks for leaving a note on my diary. In answer to yr question... I love NYC, I think its great. Although I could understand how it might not be everyones cup of tea. But NYC is the kind of place that has something for everyone, you just need to know where to look. Midtown Manhattan is probably the worst place you could hang out... too busy and commercial... I would recommend Downtown places... particularly the Lower East Side... The Yaffa Cafe is worth checking out round there... Bryant Park area is good as well... also check out Williamsburg in Brooklyn... some nice places there to see too... By the way... love the diary... x x x
from dragprincess :
i can't say that what you wrote about us in NYC isn't true: we are impatient, rude, and generally obnoxious. however, when we want to be kind, we do it like nowhere else. i hope you get to see some of that while you're here. otherwise, yes, it truly is 'kill or be killed' here.....
from dragprincess :
word! if you make it to chelsea, look out for me....
from alwaysange :
Have fun!!! Tell us all about NY when you get back :)
from dragprincess :
it takes something super-outrageous for us new yorkers to notice ANYTHING outside of ourselves. even going naked isn't always a reason to stop and stare.
from scotvalkyrie :
Have a wonderful time in New York! I hope you have lovely weather. The last time I was in New York was in 1989 in March, it was terribly cold, but I met a wonderful man who wore a furry Cossack hat. I don't think you have to worry a bit about what you wear. Safe journey!
from sam-jam-ham :
i will be there at jubilation!
from alwaysange :
Have fun in New York with K! Safe journey too~
from alwaysange :
I am praying things work out with you for money. I know how very much you want this trip to New York and I hope you get through this rough patch with the landlord's creditor. How crappy of your landlord!
from hushangelz :
Thanks so much for your kind words *hug*
from dragprincess :
i agree. ten days is nyc is all anyone can afford, including me -- and october will be six years.
from dragprincess :
you got it right: the most important person in your life is *YOU* and nobody can get in your way.
from hushangelz :
It's perfecty alright to be afraid and know that you don't ever have to face the Asshole if you don't want to. Do what only you're comfortable with. I hope K is able to come back soon to help you through this difficult time. Stay strong. *hug*
from serenaville :
Good on ya, hon! Sounds as though you're making the very right decision. Long overdue? Likely, but better than slogging through 'The Slough of Despond' forevermore, hey? Know that I'm exhaling right along with, and brimming over happiness for you. Small steps, big leaps... matters not, for you're well on your way now! Huzzah! *HUGS* and love -K.
from cactustree :
hey, i'm the one who added you to my new diary favorites list...so email me at [email protected] and i'll give you the password and username!
from leftunspoken :
Oh, thank you. He was quite a surprise; I really was convinced he was a girl. Sorry your out of sorts. There's nothing like a squeaky, scratchy voice to get sympathy. Enjoy and be a completely lazy, beautiful princess while getting better. Much love, Marcia
from hushangelz :
Hope you get better soon :)
from suhaila :
I love Literati too! :D
from bohemianlife :
Really hope things work out for you with this situation. Thinking about you.
from cactustree :
it's a nightmare when those people from your past contact you. DO NOT RESPOND. he is from an old life and has no room in the new one.
from suhaila :
Ignore him! He's not called asshole for nothing.
from suhaila :
I love the comments. Thank you! And have a great fruitful weekend my dear.
from bohemianlife :
Congrats! You deserve it!
from suhaila :
Congrats! For having made a great impact in your students' lives. :)
from suhaila :
There's a lot of truth in the entry entitled "Busy Sunday". It's so difficult to start something good, especially if it's to our own benefit.
from cactustree :
no apologies...i *heart* J-Lo. in fact, i think i'd make a much better significant other for her than creepy marc anthony. just saying.
from cactustree :
tons of luck and good vibes sent your way -- and i agree, it sucks that you are reduced to something as silly as grades/test performance. character development really is the greatest gift, even if administrators don't think so -- so take comfort that you've done a strong and excellent job in that area!
from bohemianlife :
Here's wishing you luck. I think this system is terrible for teachers and for students. And I can't tell you how much I admire what you do!
from alwaysange :
Good luck! I am sure you make a real difference in these kids's lives.
from hate-me- :
Sounds alot like a movie I saw once. The Things You Can Tell Just By Looking At Her ... you'd like it. And yeah it's a real movie, with the worlds longest title.
from cactustree :
that's *exactly* how i felt about Closer!
from alwaysange :
Good review on the movie Closer! I think one day I would really like to see it. It sounds intriguing at the very least, even if it's not a feel-good movie.
from suhaila :
Happy birthday!
from hate-me- :
Happy birthday. <3
from alwaysange :
Happy 30th Birthday (sorry it's belated!)
from cactustree :
word! loved the entry about race. i'm always so fascinated by ancestry and background and who we are culturally and who we are racially. don't you feel so lucky to be a mix of so many interesting kinds of people?
from suhaila :
Hey, happy advanced birthday to you! :-)
from leftunspoken :
Hey sugar. For what it's worth - I used to read Hellblazer and always thought it was extremely well done. Don't know if the illustrator has fluctuated much over it's run, and haven't read one since about 1998, but I always really liked that one. I loved the writing, dug the mythology aspect, and thought the artwork was impressive. A lot of the storylines get gory and it was well drawn without being childish. (I distinctly remember a recurring character who had failed a suicide attempt and only had half a face as a result.) I also read SwampThing and a few others which currently escape me. I had an exboyfriend who was a comicbuff (we went to conventions, the works), so it was a temporary hobby of mine. We were together for 6 years, but after he was gone, so were my Saturday afternoons in comicbook/card shops. (I'm not one of those girls, but relationships do tend to bring different rituals.) Anyway, thanks for the movie review. I've been curious since I saw the previews. Hope all is well with you. M
from bohemianlife :
What an amazing entry. I just wanted to thank you for writing it because it really applies so much to what I am going through right now with my marriage and my ex. It's really hard not to want to look back and try and grab a second chance. Even if you know the chances are slim. Thanks again. - Kristina
from bohemianlife :
I'm so glad to hear your dinner went well, it sounds like it was a fabulous time!
from lilu75 :
Yum! Looking forward to the "re-union" dinner!
from thekirks :
Hi there. Thanks for your note:) I think I was just searching thru the recently updated diaries when I clicked on yours. I love your layout by the way!
from hate-me- :
It's been awhile.. How are you doing?
from suhaila :
Aw, you're sweet. Thanks.
from serenaville :
I've been having computer issues these last weeks, ever since C.E. contracted that damnable computer plague, hence my prolonged absence. Thank you, dear friend, for being the ONLY person to miss me during! *HUGS* How nice to note that Bohemianlife mentioned finding you through my space! It always gives me a little thrill, bringing diarists together. Likely more a future for me in that, than actually resuming writing entries. Heh.
from suhaila :
Hope you've recovered from your illness. And here's to a great weekend. :) Cheers.
from hate-me- :
shit man *hugs*, I hope you aren't seriously sick, and that your day definatly gets better.
from cactustree :
tons of people work here in new york on green cards -- a little research will probably alleviate your worries. teachers are in high demand here, and that might be a way. marriage is an option but wow, what a strain.
from bohemianlife :
Thanks so much for the compliment on the pictures!
from bohemianlife :
Hi. Just wanted to say hi, i found you through a mutual diary contact - serenaville. I saw your username on her buddylist and had to stop by because I am reading "The Ground Beneath Her Feet" right now! And I love your mood/art thing, very original. Feel free to stop by (even though there's not much at my diary right now, I just moved from irishblueyes)and hope you won't mind me adding you!
from cactustree :
that comeback line is FIERCE!
from hate-me- :
lol. I'd love the sternum piercing, but it would reject too easily. You should try making apple crisp, simple but ah fuck you could kill someone over it. http://pie.allrecipes.com/az/AppleCrispII.asp - good one.
from cactustree :
prawn masala? change that to chicken or beef (shellfish allergy), spoon some on my plate, and i'm your friend for life!
from serenaville :
Damned if I don't deeply admire your moxie, my friend. Your observations on the errant landlord situation were spot on, with points that wouldn't have readily crossed my mind under pressure. I'm sorry this had to happen to you, but I don't worry about you... I worry about those who so foolishly tangle with you! Brava, my dear. Love ya! *HUGS*
from lilu75 :
I'm waiting the day he needs my help, which is anytime now and then I'll make him apologise before I do anything for that wanker. That will be sweet.
from serenaville :
That I love you, despite your dislike of coconut almond creme CRACK candy, is testament to our friendship. ;) I'll gladly take all you can ship, so long as I can somehow reciprocate another way. What fun that would be! Just an idea... *HUGS!!!*
from alwaysange :
I just read about your party. It sounds like it was a lot of fun. I was so happy it turned out well for you. Happy New Year!
from medleclectic :
hi! i'm a new member to diaryland and was looking through other people's diaries to have an inspiration/idea on how to change my template. I like yours. I was wondering if I could borrow your codes?
from hate-me- :
Bra shopping is never fun :(

I am glad you had such a great day. I hope you continue enjoying your time this holiday season and I hope you and K. are reunited soon. How sweet that day will be.
from suhaila :
Hey, thanks for the note! :) I'll bookmark this one so others won't find you easily yah? Mwah.
from serenaville :
Darling, I am seriously contemplating buying you Supergold after the holidays, so that you have a comments section. ;) I would *far* rather deal with geckos than cockroaches, I imagine. I say imagine, as I've never had to personally deal with either of the little blighters. A gecko, however, is the mascot for a car insurance company here in the States. Cockroaches haven't nearly the same elan, accent over the 'a' implied. So. How does it feel, to be Vina the Mascot Slayer now, hey? :D
from cactustree :
thank you so much for adding me to your buddy list -- i've added you as well and look forward to reading more about you....
from alwaysange :
Welcome to your new place! And, I have to agree with you on the comments that other people make about long-distnace relationships. They really should stop and think about what they're saying.
from serenaville :
The first note! An honor. Thank you for the heads-up, hon, transistion complete. Such a beautiful diary ident. Does it have special meaning or significance? May your new private space always remain sacred. Love you, my friend. *HUGS!*

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
