Yeah! The stage hand thing was the BEST! Because he was the only guy in the whole thing and of course he was a total hottie. On the "Why can't my life be trash?" number, when the song ends, she plops down on her desk and the lights dim. As the audience is applauding, the stage hand comes out to push the desk (with her laying on it) off the stage. He walks up to her, reaches out his hands, pauses, reaches them out again, pauses, and then finally lays them on her hip in order to push the whole thing. She lifts up her head and goes "Oooh!" It was soooo cute! Then the number where the construction guy gets harassed by the girl who wants him to touch her "bazoombas", at the end of the number she's walking off the stage and the stage hand walks up to her, grinning from ear to ear like "hey, I'll touch 'em!" and she gives him a look like, "Don't even think about it," and he hangs his head. It was great!!

You are SO effing cool to 1) know what show I'm talking about, and 2) to want to put it on. Incredible! Have the ones you've seen include interaction with the band and the stagehand? Cuz THAT was truly the most hilarious part of the whole thing. How innovative! You should definitely try that. Ahhhh, how I'd LOVE to have that kind of talent. I think in a past life I did. Because when I see stuff like this, I'm like Roxie Hart when she sees Velma Kelly for the first time - divine admiration and desire to do that too. But, I'm not talented that way (i.e. singing and dancing). Still, it does make me want to go full force with my writing. Good luck and let me know if you do it!
