I wish you weren't so sad. I wish there were easier ways for you to get through this time but there just aren't. The trick is.. when you truly aren't wishing and hoping and looking for love.. it often stalks you, hides in the bushes, and mugs you on the way home. The truth is, darling babygirl, that you weren't in love with any of these boys. You just wanted to be loved. You can't cast your pearls before swine anymore. It's breaking your spirit. You're more worthy than that. This is a lesson I'm learning myself.. ::insert ferocious hug here:: either way.. any way.. I'm still here when you need me.. Don't forget to enjoy the thorns as much as the roses.. ~Victoria

Sarabell? Witchgrrl? I bumped into you after stumbling into "Bree"s diary...
Is that you in the Cheap Trick shirt?
Re: AUTHORS / I don't know what causes me to send this note / M-SoCal-2-9-64
Do yourself a big, enlightening, life-expanding favor-- check out Lawrence Durrel(Sp?-- been a long time...); Specifically, "The Alexandria Quartet."
Keep a dictionary handy... the vocabulary is rich, to say the least.
Be prepared to get 'lost' in the city of Alexandria, Egypt... although it could have been set in any number of cities...
Not always 'pretty'-- and a lot of work-- but, I don't know of a more exquisite writer in the English language. You will NEVER forget... IF you can get THROUGH the books...
(btw- Tori A. also rocks MY world... I've seen her "up close [in concert]" five or six times--about yearly-- ever since hearing Little Earthquakes.
I would give my left nut to BEEEEE her Piano Bench for just ONE SET! Hell, just ONE GOOD SONG! Can you imagine... the PASSION... the... moisture?!
She IS sex... sweet AND low...)
My OTHER favorite singer/songwriter? Is ANYone better than Crissie Hynde?! I think not...
Please pardon my forward demeanor... I got carried away...
Peace, Beretta9

Roald Dahl was simply the best children's author and lasted me well into my teens. He wrote such wonderful stories--so imaginative. Nice to see someone else appreciates his work!
