You're...you're drinking less? NOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo! Your dreams really haven't come true, then. I'm so sorry. But I hope a few of the other ones on your list eventually are granted to you. You can only fool yourself into thinking you don't want them for so long, you know. Best of luck to you and your mom. Good to see you blogging again.
from jarofporter :
YaY! update!
from eastportgrrl :
Another Go Girl! on paying down your debt!
from eastportgrrl :
Woohoo on the debt paying down... Awesome... Miss ya!
from sixweasels :
I love you, and I hate that this is what life has handed you right now, and wish I could make it all go away. But I also admire the hell out of the way you deal with it, and am also uber-glad to see you being brutally honest with yourself and the world here about not being Superwoman and being sick of both trying to be that way and having others expect you to keep trying (or not even realizing that you ARE trying because it always seem to come so natural). If there is anything good to come of all this I am seeing that it is you are more willing to say "I need" and "I'm not" as much as you have always said "I will" and "I am." I dunno shit because I'm still on my one-step-forward-two-steps back journey, but I think in the long run that's part of getting somewhere. Hugs.
from greenwitch :
Stop and breathe! First, don't look at everything at once, then start finding proactive ways to deal with what is happening right now. Have the docs given a sense of the progression of the disease on a time line? Do you have home care services you can tap into to help keep dad at home for as long as is practical so you can find creative ways to deal with the next phase? We had long term home care for my mom and she was home to the end, it was what she wanted. Start talking to people in the doctors office and check into the office for the ageing in you county, municipality.. or however things are set up there. Knowledge is power! AND, take care of yourself.
from dulligirl :
I think the best thing a high paying job can do for you is help you fulfill your own dreams. I want one, like you, to be able to pay off debts and then travel. Travel and travel. If you don't find a travel buddy make sure you travel anyway. That's what I'm going to do.
from greenwitch :
Congrats on the job. I love when those who don't fit the mold sit in the chairs that are meant for the straight and narrow types... always makes me smile :-)
from annanotbob :
Yay for all them wanting you to do stuff, even if you don't want to. And Yay for coming to GB - you better include Brighton - I can show you a good time! x
from marn :
He has a good heart, but oh, man, there are times when he really, really steps in it :)
from rachelliz :
Next! Good! He didn't deserve your attention! As for my dating machine-ness...you gotta get yourself online! Lotso boys there. Most of them are still lacking, but at least there's a big pool.
from dulligirl :
Hi! I just added you on the recommendation of rachelliz. It seems we both have man trouble. Good luck!
from rachelliz :
I'm so frustrated with men now.I can totally feel your situation with the Dude. And that SUCKS about work. And of course, you won't get laid off...cuz you are way too valuable cuz you are capable of dealing with this nonsense. It's really frustrating how the good workers get punished.
from fairybones :
hi, thank you for the add! though i'm not actually from new york, just visiting from ireland.
from greenwitch :
Bummer! Hopefully there is a silly reason and all is not lost.
from greenwitch :
Whatever has you cussing, I hope it is better soon.
from annanotbob :
Hiya - I just clicked on your name in the box as a bit of zen and a bit of celt seemed just what I needed and I was right. Dude sounds cool - good luck with that and with the carbs and stuff. Best wishes x
from rachelliz :
Checking in and catching up. It's funny how getting excited about a guy feels very much like it did when we were 16. Good luck with him, hope he comes out this weekend.
from greenwitch :
I'm so glad the nutritionist helping you get fantastic results. Maybe both shoes fell and the diagnosis opened a door to a new you... silver lining, ya know :-)
from casa-rosie :
Hmmm..well, I can deffo say that British Columbia in the fall isn't exactly a happening place, but San Diego is usually beautiful any time of the year, and you can find inexpensive places to stay. There, that's my helpful suggestion!
from sixweasels :
You are off to an awesome start. And guess what? They just opened a new hibachi place near our gym. We went there last night and they have so many good, healthy choices for diabetics or just people who don't wanna eat bad shit but want something yummy. So the next time you're down our way, we'll go there to celebrate the fact that you're gonna kick this thing's butt!
from greenwitch :
Nutritionists are great allies on the diabetes journey. Good news that your dietary changes have already made a difference.
from greenwitch :
Freaky diagnosis but it is controlable. Good luck finding what works for your body.
from casa-rosie :
Is it Type 1 (insulin dependent) or Type II (controlled by diet)? It makes a big, big difference. Now, you can tell me to go to hell, but I have already been through the whole diabetes thing, and I would be more than happy to tell you what worked for me. You can contact me at casa.rosie at gmail, and I will be happy to help you in any way I can. Hugs darling!
from eastportgrrl :
What Six said plus lots of hugs from me... (She's the writer, I am not) :-) Hope to see you soon...
from sixweasels :
Hugs. You know, you haven't been one bit more slovenly or whiny then the rest of us. Sometimes shit just isn't fair. So don't just blame yourself. Know that you will kick this thing's ass just like you've kicked the ass of your job and so many other health issues over the years, even though it is scarier, because you are tough and smart and you rock like that. If Lee can do it I KNOW you can, because you actually LIKE healthy food : ). Thinking of you lots and cheering you on, babe.
from sixweasels :
Those rainbows gotta be a sign of good things to come!
from jarofporter :
hello!? is this thing on?
from sixweasels :
I'm glad you were able to hold onto to the good parts of this trip. And sorry that she was a dillhole (my new favorite word)!
from poolagirl :
People change - and sometimes for the worse. Sorry about your weird friend - but glad you had an adventure in spite of her!
from sixweasels :
I will have to check Adam out -it has been a while since someone got a "want to do it!"
from sixweasels :
ROFL on the boobs of steel! The cracked tooth thing - that's what happened to my consultant Vickie. She was doing the teeth-grinding so often and badly though that her dentist gave her some kind of mouthpiece to sleep with at night so that her teeth couldn't gnash together. Happy Easter!
from marlen816 :
((Hugs)) Hope you feel better soon.
from marlen816 :
Have a great trip!!
from casa-rosie :
I can really tell the difference in my estrogen levels this month, after being raw for 6 weeks. I'm also trying apple cider vinegar (organic) because some women have had excellent results with shrinking fibroids with it. I hope your checkup goes well, and you don't need to face another surgery.
from poolagirl :
Fingers crossed for you! Hope your check-up goes well!
from sixweasels :
As good as you have been you totally deserved a little clothes shopping! An investment in yourself that makes you feel good helps keep everything else on track : ). And I think what you are doing for Bethany is awesome!
from marlen816 :
Go on the cruise and enjoy yourself. Do not let the MomGuilt cheat you out of an awesome trip. ((Hugs))
from youdunnome :
what? no "villains"? you could probably do with some rugged, semi-dangerous, (misunderstood, good-hearted) "villain-y" types, couldn't ya!? *waggeles eyebrows* would make the trip that much more exciting!! lol
from poolagirl :
YAY for road trips! I did one last May and traveled through the deserts of Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona! It was g-r-e-a-t!
from youdunnome :
dood, call me tomorrow & fill me in. i wanna know about this "curse" you're claiming...
from greenwitch :
Wishing you a mucous free new year!
from rachelliz :
Thanks for the miracle order...and the good thoughts. It means a lot. And of course, yay for hot cowboys!
from sixweasels :
Yay for Christmas decorations! We finished the tree yesterday ... Lee even found where he packed away his purple balls last year. And great big ginormous hugs on the skinny and hot comment. Hey, I saw H in the Farm Store this morning getting coffee - he looked like a big grumpy bear in his work uniform and seemed as disgusted to be going back as I did!
from eastportgrrl :
It's sort of a roaming party.... Jenn will be on a boat but we can get her later...
from eastportgrrl :
I go to Dover on the 1st wknd in December. what are you doing the 13th? It's lights parade that weekend....
from eastportgrrl :
oh that's okay, I want to get the guest bedroom ready to go anyway.... but SOON, we want to see you...
from eastportgrrl :
so you're coming to the Naptown Lush? :)
from captainron :
Salem is about an hour and a half north of here. If you drove you were probably a mile and a half from the house and two from the boat. You should have stopped in for a sail... PS we booked a cruise for the end of January. Eat your heart out...
from greenwitch :
Salem is historically interesting but otherwise rather weird.
from sixweasels :
Happy Zenoween! And even happier vacationing!
from eastportgrrl :
Zen, Happy Halloween!!! I do miss u and let me know what your schedule is so we can get together and you can meet Irish!!!! He's moving in next month or so...
from youdunnome :
no, it's the same # - eleventy-two-two. would have been good to talk to you tonight, but such is life... and i don't want to email you at work - i'm too much of a negative ned.
from youdunnome :
not only have i emailed you, but i didn't even compose them new - i relied to your messages, so there's no way i could have mistyped your addy. well, shit, how do i get these messages to you now!? damnit! >.<
from youdunnome :
oh, eyah, and besides, grizzly adams would *have* to be doing drugs to talk to a bear named "ben" wouldn't he!? he's just a bigger, burlier john denver!
from youdunnome :
grizzly adams = best. show. ever. uncle jesse was the mountain man!! anyway, do you ever check your "teut" email? i've sent you several replies (and another just this monring) but it seems like you never got them. get back to me, wouldja!? :-)
from sixweasels :
Grizzly Adams touched boobies? I'm traumatized.
from casa-rosie :
Yeah, I loved Dan Haggerty too, but then he went and got busted for drugs way back when. He was such a cutie though.
from sixweasels :
Hope the festivities were fun! I wanted to call you, but I locked my keys and phone (my whole purse, actually) in my office Friday when I was leaving work and can't get them till I go back tomorrow (I REALLY miss my phone, but not enough to go in when I was scheduled off today!).
from sixweasels :
I don't know what's funnier - the idea of H in the army or you and Tod being roomies. I can hear him in the kitchen ya'll share whining "Hey ...we're out of eggs!" : ) As for the other stuff, I always think more about little transformations, then another one, and then another one, and they sometimes add up into something big. If I thought about them all at once, I'd probably just go do some shots and give it up! Remember how we used to say "hey, I lost a weasel" for every 5 pounds or so? I'm trying to do better myself. I even have the get up at 5 part down. My problem is that I'd rather use those mornings to write than to exercise. See you tomorrow!
from sixweasels :
I miss my Deadwood too ... we were talking about trying to watch that new HBO John Adams series to see if it even comes close to as good, but somehow I doubt it!
from captainron :
I understand... Firing people makes me want to throw up.. Some times you have to do it though.. I'm sure you didi it as well as could be expected.. Wow.. I can't believe Jim's hous burnt down... Sometimes life really does suck... {{{hugs}}} me

from sixweasels :
That is VERY cool!
from sixweasels :
I hope you manage to have some fun in Cowville!
from bunny828 :
plentiful as air. Hmmm. I'm not sure I like Steak that much either, but maybe there will be some fun people watching? Try to have fun. I have a thing about planes so I can sorta relate. Have fun after the airport.
from sixweasels :
Oh, lots of big hugs coming your way. I totally get what you mean, even though we deal with that fear of loss and abandonment in very different ways (maybe because our experiences of it have been different, and yours so much more). But girl, you still have that sense of humor shining through. I just snorted coffee over the "babies in baby doohickies" thing! Get ready for some hillbilly time - the whole family IS definitely cabin bound this weekend.
from greenwitch :
Vibes are what they are and you are who you are... let the right person find you and tune in..... Soon, I hope...

from captainron :
I just got to the point where I felt disgusting and had to do something. So far I've dropped 12 pounds. Walk 4 miles at lunch every day, a couple more after work and have been running a 5k on Saturdays. Oh yeah, I cut out the grapes for awhile... Sigh... I do feel better, but I"ll be happy when I'm back to "normal". Good luck! me
from captainron :
I call my Balckberry, the electronic leash. I just got an email on it from the president of the company at 8:30 on Sunday morning. Fun, fun, fun
from batten :
If you need me to come take care of you, I will happily do so... Call me tomorrow if you get a chance. Let us take care of you, babe. I'll be home from Mom and Dad's in the afternoon. Big hug... -moi. again
from batten :
Stop spending money. Sock it away. Start thinking about what would really make you happy in life if you were doing it. Set boundaries at work... Take yoga classes or whatever it would takt to calm you down even a little. We're still here and we miss you. But it's time to start being your own best friend. oOu can't burn the candle at both ends indefinitely, honey. We love you and want you around for a long time. Big huge calming soothing hug. Love, -me
from greenwitch :
Have a great trip!
from sixweasels :
My vox is sixweasels.vox.com. Have an awesome cruise... maybe I'll get everyone to drunk-dial you and leave a message for you to hear while you're on land from Sullyfest!
from nacwolin :
Have a great time on your cruise. Rob and I are going on our first in October, and I can't wait!!
from sixweasels :
You'll have to update me on what's going on in JobWorld!
from eastportgrrl :
Hey! Lush is coming to naptown!!!
from captainron :
Hi, still here... Do me a favor if you would, next time you get together with the girls... group hug from me? Love you guys...
from casa-rosie :
Location, location, location! What will be worth more when you go to sell in 5, 10, 15 years? I'd go for the best deal on a place you never thought you could afford two years ago. Because real estate is cyclical, it will recover eventually, unless there is a major company which closes its doors and kills the market. For instance, if I had bought one place for $300,000 in California, it would now be worth $8-900,000...even in a depressed market. Spending the same amount in AZ got me a house worth only maybe $500,000. Look at the past peaks and valleys in the areas you are looking at, then try to figure where people will be willing to pay more money to live in 10 years. Also, if you are at all handy, go for a fixer-upper if you can get a smashing good deal on it. A duplex is good because you can rent out one side, and have half of your Mtg paid. ALso, in time, you can move out and have two rentals, while you live in a third place. Think outside the box! Joo can dew eet mon!
from casa-rosie :
I think a trip to Arizona is in order! The weather is better, and there is a whole different breed of asshole out here. Not to mention some cute cowboys here and there!
from sixweasels :
I know "it will get better" sounds like a crock of shite, but I truly believe that for someone with as much love, heart and soul as you have to give it will. As for the asshole part - it NEVER goes away. It pops out at the most inopportune moments. And every now and then, you have to take it out on purpose. Maybe that's what we should do on New Years - let our inner assholes out to play : ).
from captainron :
Right back at ya lady... Hope you have a great 2008
from captainron :
Hey Zen, Merry Chrismas
from sixweasels :
I hope this new round of sickness isn't going to screw up your NY trip!
from sixweasels :
So BSF had another bad dating experience, huh? Poor guy. I had to laugh at your going to bed early thing ... its happening to me too. I tend to still be a night owl on the weekends (but more of a midight/1 am night owl as opposed to a 4 a.m night owl), but on a work night it is rare these days that I'm not in bed by 10. Well, unless the Steelers are playing, then I stay up and feel sleep deprived and bitchy the whole next day : ).
from rachelliz :
Congrats on your promotion!
from duranfanatic :
Congrats on the promotion and the big raise. And don't throw that "heart attack" stuff around so lightly, you almost gave ME one. :P And don't worry about the staffing stuff, you'll...manage, no pun intended. You'll probably be a lot of a lot better than some of the assholes that you or I have worked for in the past. That's probably the right way to look at it: think back about everything that drove you crazy about your past bosses, and avoid doing that sort of stuff while still doing what needs to be done to get everything done. Good luck! :D
from marlen816 :
COngrats on the promotion! You are going to do great!
from nacwolin :
Congrats - you'll do great!
from janie12975 :
Congratulations on the big promotion! You deserve it!
from greenwitch :
Congratulations (on the promotion not the snot).
from marlen816 :
Hope you are feeling better ((Hugs))
from sixweasels :
I am so happy about the no-surgery vote! And this doc's blended approach sounds like - well ... like you! I have a good feeling about this.
from chaosdaily :
great! surgery should be a last resort. i used to work for a spinal surgeon, and even in the successful surgeries, patients still had a bit of pain. once you have surgery, it will never be the same!
from youdunnome :

from grimshawn :
...MESSAGE FROM GRIMSHAWN... I would tell you to get on Myspace since Pam did...Alas, she hasn't checked her page out in over a month! HOW YA' DOIN????
from sixweasels :
In the words of Sully, you have officially received your 'marching orders.' Start hydrating now, and get ready to put on your boozin' boots.
from greenwitch :
Hey, good to hear from you again. I was beginning to wonder what was up. Wealth and early retirement sound very very good..... I so agree about the big house thing......
from sixweasels :
Yeah, it was a classic evening. I know Sully didn't expect us to buy her drinks, but then he always orders rounds for everyone, and I always feel like I gotta be fair, and us ordering for us and Sully but not her would have been weird. Mostly, it wasn't so much the money as just the fact that not having any on her to contribute to anything didn't make her the least bit uncomfortable. I thought that was kinda freaky, being out with a bunch of strangers and all. But even so, only he would take a guaranteed-to-get-laid night and turn it into an all-night chatfest at one of his friend's houses instead. Our balls are weird.
from nacwolin :
"I don't remember jesus ever hating, spiting, hurting, or segregating himself from those unlike him. He loved and cared for them." You are exactly right, my friend. These are the kinds of groups that frustrate me so much because all/a lot of Christianity is then colored negatively due to their bigoted behavior.
from sixweasels :
Oh that really sucks. I'm sorry this is happening to them, or that they're letting it happen to themselves.
from poolagirl :
Oh Lord! I cannot believe what is happening to your friends! My best friend in college joined the Salvation Army and refuses to speak to me. I don't get that one either!
from wildrosie :
Oh Dear God! Black henna isn't henna at all! It's PPD otherwise known as paraphenelyndiamine, which causes all sorts of problems for people! Please be careful darling! The freshest henna is the best henna. End results can vary quite a bit, just be careful!

from errantnights :
hi
from rachelliz :
For a coupla months to LA? Wow...that's both exciting and intimidating and all sortsa things. I hope you can post from there.
from july28 :
I think our pets have a way of letting us know they're OK, but thinking of us. Hang in there - it does get easier. xx
from poolagirl :
Holding you in my thoughts and prayers. Losing a dog is so incredibly painful.
from sixweasels :
Sometimes I think alcholic wishful thinking is escapism. Other times, I think it is just letting down our inhibitions enough to let our minds see what they would see without the booze if our stresses and mental barriers didn't keep crashing in. I think this is one of those cases, and you should hold on to it with all your heart, forever and ever.
from rachelliz :
I am so sorry to hear about your dog. I know how much she meant to you. I guess it goes with the territory when you get a dog that you're probably going to have to watch it grow old and eventually die. But I still have no idea how I'm going to do it.
from curiouoso :
I know that saying I understand how you feel, isn't very soothing to someone with a big hole in thier heart right now, but when you are ready another "dogger" will come along. As you know Midnite was so close to our hearts that I have him tatooed on my arm. No dog can replace him, but Rosie is a totally different personality and fits real good into our family. (Dogger was a pet name for The Big Black Bastard, Midnite) I still get a sudden unasked for memory of him at random times, like at work, where it is embarassing to suddenly tear up and get sad. Mostly now I just get happy remembering him, and You'll be there someday too. I never told anyone, but I cried more for that Damn dog than I did for my Dad or Amy's mom......and he was just a dog???? Hurting along with you, Curiouoso*
from bunny828 :
{{{Hugs}}} So sorry
from wildrosie :
No, we are never ready to put our babies to rest, are we? But I believe Captain Ron is correct. When you can, think about all of the lovely puppies who are lonely tonight, hoping that they will find a human as wonderful as you! Then go find a new baby to love.
from july28 :
Zen, I'm so sorry. But at least we can put our pets at peace, in a way we can't with our human loved ones. Thinking of you. xx
from captainron :
Sorry... Been there done that and there is no easy way. They ask for nothing but love and take nothing but a big chunk of your heart... Well that an occasionally a shoe or two... Wait your time, cry your tears and when they stop get a puppy. They can't replace what you've loss or fill the hole, but they keep you so damn busy that you don't have time to be as sad. {{{{Big Hugs}}} Ron
from nacwolin :
Sorry to hear about your baby. (((Zen)))
from wildrosie :
I am here on the orders of Six, who said you need some lovin'. So here's some long-distance loving, AND I thought I'd tell you that there is a new Wilbur Smith novel out there from the River Gods series! It is called The Quest, and Taita lives!
from eastportgrrl :
cool.... july is better,,, hope all is well..
from eastportgrrl :
Zen!it"s been so long!call me sometime!
from poolagirl :
Dang! What's going on?
from greenwitch :
Badger Mountain Reisling or chardonnay. Four Chimmneys is another good organic wine choice. Frey vineyard out of CA is not only organic but also biodynamic.... The sulphur was originally to clarify (stop from being cloudy) the wine. Be careful organic wine tends to be stronger because that is how the wine is cleared without sulphur (higher alchohol content). Have fun in sunny CA!
from marlen816 :
Yea! An update!!
from sixweasels :
Yay for an update! I'm sorry Kheda is doing so badly - I know how hard this part of the process can be. Hugs.
from july28 :
I'm so glad you're back!
from poolagirl :
Oh, sweetie! You are in my thoughts and prayers! Take care!
from poolagirl :
Where you been?
from greenwitch :
Vanilla brandy? Now I have to go out and try that. Good news about the moms
from sixweasels :
Glad Momma came through OK and that you had a good momma/daughter weekend trip : ). I've always thought the cooperative housing idea sounded kinda neat, but I still wanna be a hippie WITHOUT a job!
from bunny828 :
I always thought living in cooperative housing would be nice, but dh never had any interest.

There is a place not far from here that makes kilts. I am not sure if the large fellow who sometimes comes to the college town farme's market in a skirt owns the place or is their best customer. Either way it is a wonderful site. Happy recovery!
from sixweasels :
Okay, I missed the phone sex with Todd part of the evening ...!
from rachelliz :
I don't usually leave thanks for the note notes, but you made me laugh!
from rachelliz :
Ya know sometimes the "I feel no connection but we could be friends" line actually works. And if this guy is really gay, he'd be cool with that, I bet. Then you can come up with a new secret plan to help him find his gaydom. Hehe.
from janie12975 :
Too bad you didn't have the chemistry. Skinny metrosexuals are the best. Ok, so I'm biased because I'm married to one. ;-)
from sixweasels :
An artsy flick? A vegetarian restaurant? Dancing at an uber nice club? Dude, the world IS upside down. What happened to two hours of watching Ace Ventura AGAIN followed by chicken fingers from Pizza Man followed by Sully, Todd and company doing the cruise water dance? This could be the adventure of a lifetime ...
from poolagirl :
GAAA! Labels! How destructive they are!
from bunny828 :
Weird site. I wasn't grossed out though. It seems the europeans photograph their dead more often than here in the US. A while back I found a site of dead babies. Most from Holland or Swedan and the like.
from nacwolin :
Our teens love My Chemical Romance - so you are very hip :-) (as if you didn't know that already). Enjoy your date!!
from bunny828 :

that's because i did soo poorly after only two days, that i deleted everything - once i get to a good point, where i know i can put some decent effort into it, i'll start it again... until then, well, i suck... :-(
from greenwitch :
Adventure! What a lovely concept.

Should we send Bookstore out girl hunting with Oldballs? They seem to have similar tastes ...or age ranges anyhow.

My favorite thing about PMS...know it's PMS and that eventually, it will be over. That's the definite light at the end of the tunnel.
from janie12975 :
Post-PMSeuphoria is the best! I'm hoping for some come Tuesday morning, because this PMS is kicking my butt right now. Glad you are feeling better!
from duranfanatic :
No. No, no, no. No starving yourself, and no putting any bags over your head. I'm not altogether sure I understood that last entry, but what I do know is that anybody who gives you the impression that they don't like the way you look isn't worth your time. And you look just fine, dammit. :P
from outfoxed :
Or, K.I.L.T. - versus, of course, Kilted.
from eastportgrrl :
Kick! I totally understand the negative streak..
from batten :
BOOT! Now, come play with us. We miss you. Love, -me
from sixweasels :
Cool! I guess for me, the difference would be in whether he's the type of person who lives simply and prefers to be free of the constraints involved in making more money, but truly gets by on what he has and doesn't expect someone he dates to support him, or whether he's expects others to take care of him so he can live his free, easygoing, simple life. Make sense? I wouldn't care if he's choosing to be poor because he'd rather be that way than alter his lifestyle somehow, as long as he didn't expect to get a free ride from someone else who sucks it up to earn the check. And only time will tell which he is, I guess. Maybe I just think that way because if I was capable of truly living simply, I'd do it in a heartbeat rather than put up with a high stress job, but I'm too stuff-needy to really do it : ). At any rate, he sounds like an interesting addition to the circle of people in your life!
from sixweasels :
Yep, the assholes are a'flamin in my world, and the dildos are a'flopping in yours. Whats up with us?
from grimshawn :
I'm not insane...And I have the paper to prove it. You've just forgotten how I am. Insane. No, wait...

I just remembered this - when I was thinking about going bad places with G, you once told me you wanted to glue a dildo on HIS big old red pickup. Could this be some karmic message? Bwahahahahah!
from poolagirl :
Pretty nifty discovery for your ride to work! I just wonder how it got in there. Most people take better care of their dildoes.
from grimshawn :
Only you would have that shown to you on your way to work. I am so sorry about the Max thing - but that's old news. Glad you haven't lost your tongue...Wait, that sounds bad...Um, glad you haven't lost your bite...Well, not that you bite...At least not me..Bitten me. This isn't going well. Um...think, Shawn, think...A wishful thought without any sexual innuendo...Uh...KEEP ON TRUCKIN'!!
from grimshawn :
WHAT?? ANOTHER MAN IN A KILT?? It's so nice to see you haven't changed much! Of course, I really haven't kept up - so I have no clue as to why Max should be eaten (but I can guess). Big hugs to ya, toots!!
from bunny828 :
You funny woman! I'd notice plaid too. Men wear plaid pants? Is this in?
from marlen816 :
Exotic pole dancer might get you a few dates =)
from youdunnome :
tell em you're a stunt women in the adult-film industry!!! LOL
from youdunnome :
wha!?!?
from sixweasels :
Oh, man, I was getting such a laugh at the image of K and her new friend running from your momma, until I got to the end. The poor baby.
from greenwitch :
I hope the humans get over it and pup is OK.
from duranfanatic :
As you can tell if you're still reading me, I've been better. I'm not all that sure when, but I have been. I think. Anyway, I suppose I'm all right, for all that. Now you go get better and take good care of yourself, and hang in there. Don't be a stranger over at my place, y'hear?
from bunny828 :
Sending good vibes your way.
from duranfanatic :
Feel better soon, my dear. Being sick is not the way to start off the new year or finish the old one. At any rate, Happy New Year to you, and good luck at the Big Meeting. I miss you.
from poolagirl :
YAY-HOOOOOO for days off!
from sixweasels :
I'm having a REALLY hard time getting your dream-image (or at least my mental translation of it) of H out of my head!
from greenwitch :
Honey, buy the house. Get a few warm fuzzies of the variety that pleases you. For Goddess sake give up the spinsterhood idea. Be thankful you have not wasted half your life on some asshole who wasn't paying attention. Do what you want to do and if you need familia, adopt, extend the family, or whatever it takes to bring the little ones into your life.
from poolagirl :
I would HATE to share my ceremonial kilt with anyone! Especially since they are nudie underneath! EWWWWW!
from sixweasels :
Thanks! And as far as picking your own behavior as what appalled and depressed ... I for one think you kicked ass. You went through enlightenment, dealt with multiple a-holes with acceptance and grace, explored life outside the Planet Assholia, got mucho raises, took wonderful care of your puppy, helped your nephew grow up, helped me stay sane ... and that's just the things I can think of in under a minute!
from eastportgrrl :
What's up? I really do need a neti pot, I have been reading about them for years... Are we going to haveto go another year w/o seeing each other (Yeah it's only been since July) but hey I miss you!
from sixweasels :
Let me know if you didn't get my reply to your last email, just in case my work account is being assholish again. But yeah, I'm still alive : ).
from sixweasels :
Bwahahaha ... asshole remover! My father would go out of business if anyone ever sprayed that in The Bar ...
from nacwolin :
I can see your entries now. And I am sorry that your madre invaded your space like that.
from poolagirl :
I can see your writing. Sometimes, I can't even see my page. Diaryland is weird.
from captainron :
Looks fine to me....
from batten :
Finally! Can see your entry now... Wanna try reposting the others? Missed the heck out of you, woman. Big hug. -J
from greenwitch :
Saw the entry. There seem to be some blank pages all over the place (other blogs). When D'land doesn't work right it is such a pain.
from sixweasels :
I think we're all living and learning. I've always been afraid (in the same way you mentioned that one night, months ago, when Sully and I were pissheads and we missed the cab at The Bar and annoyed the shit out of you) that if I wasn't exactly what my friends and even family wanted me to be, I wouldn't have them anymore. That fear only got worse after Chris and I separated, because I was so afraid of being alone in the world. I wanted to be perfect and do what everyone wanted. Then something came along that I wanted bad enough to go for anyway, and I realized if I was ever going to do this new life and do it right I had to take chances and go with my own heart and instincts, even if others were concerned about my choices. Its something I've never done before entirely, usually deciding instead to go with the path of least resistance and keep others happy so they'd still love me and want me around (you know how that feels ...). One day at a time for all of us, I guess. And the fact that I've turned a bit inward doesn't mean I love anyone any less, including you. I hope you know that. Have fun at OM Camp!
from marlen816 :
Hey...thanks for the mention in your diary. Just taking it one day at a time.....
from sixweasels :
I can't think of a better way to indulge the many facets of your personality than to combine OM Camp with a hockey game!

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
