milo2, behind the curtain

"...they must have been disappointed to see that I looked relatively normal. No grave-pale face. No blood-red eyes. No fangs. I wasn't even having a snack of spiders and worms. How boring of me." --Dean Koontz, 'Fear Nothing'

comments:  nifty-keen is all i can say.

My favorite music:

linkin park
comments:  0.0 wow, i love their lyrics. so poetic, for all it's VOLUME. but that's what it's good for.
carmina burana
comments:  not a band (to my knowledge) but it's simply gorgeous music. and LATIN!
evanescence
comments:  shut up, they do NOT suck. i respect a woman who can really SING. avril can bite me, for all i care.
marilyn manson
comments:  incredibly fun. satire is goooooooood... mwahaha. and the black. points for gothish aesthetics.
p!nk
comments:  i met her. 'nuff said.

My favorite movies:

edward scissorhands
comments:  ...has got to be THE greatest movie of all freakin' time.
the nightmare before christmas
comments:  ...okay, this one, too... i've been watching this since i was like FIVE and i still love it. i can recite the whole damn thing, too.
the legend of ninteen hundred
comments:  pianists rule. especially the eccentric, british type. and it's also good when they've lived on a cruise ship all their lives and have no idea what the real world is like... bonus points for that.
the legend of drunken master
comments:  i sense a theme among titles... but this is still a great movie. utterly bizarre.
anything matrix-related
comments:  really, i only love it for the kick-ass-ness of it all. swooshy black leather, yum.

My favorite authors:

anne rice
comments:  very VERY poetic language. normally i'm not into the, um, 'ecstasy' featured in 'love' scenes in books, but for anne rice i can sit through it. and the vampires, can't forget them.
richard bach
comments:  'jonathan livingston seagull'. go read it. NOW.
garth nix
comments:  the sabriel trilogy is by far the most intriguing fantasy i've ever laid eyes on. and sabriel kicks some serious arse.
dean koontz
comments:  now, this is the kind of thriller i like. lots of psychological stuff, and lotsa supernatural. well worth losing sleep for.
sir arthur conan doyle
comments:  let's put it this way: i own the entire collection of 'sherlock holmes' stories and i've read all fifty-seven of them. so THERE.
