Walzing Back Into Your Life

I've been told my diary is like watching an episode of Seinfeld. It's about nothing in particular, but for some reason it seems funny. Maybe people just like it because they can relate. Or maybe people just like this diary because it's not their life.

For those of you who are curious about the layout of my journal, I realize that you think it may not "fit" with my content. However, it does. This is one of my favorite paintings ("An Elegant Soiree"). I've always felt like I was born in the wrong era, and this painting reminds me of a time when I would have loved to be alive. This painting is an escape for me.

Then again, if I lived in that era, I doubt I would have been the belle of the ball. I'm too sarcastic for that distinction.

Either way, the last dance I will play at my wedding is called, "The last waltz should last forever." Why? Because I genuinely do believe that. When you've found something that you hope lasts forever, you should never let go of it.

So, I hope you enjoy my journal. Add me to your favorites, and come back repeatedly. I hope you "waltz back into my life" every time YOU need an escape.
