I am a wife and mother of one who started nursing school in the fall of 2003. Nursing school is much more demanding than I ever imagined, but I am still trying to have a life, read about it here!

comments:  Yes I am child of the 80's. The only poster I had on my bedroom wall in high school was of Rick. Ya know what, his music actually isn't that great, but I still listen anyway.

The Princess Bride

comments:  I used to take a copy of this with me when I babysat. The kids would always watch it and be mesmerized! And I could always watch with them and enjoy.

Jumpin' Jack Flash

comments:  Never seen it, anywhere but on tv where they thankfully cut out all the bad words, but everytime it comes on, I watch it again and laugh like crazy at the scene where Whoopi is in the phone booth being dragged around New York by a tow truck!

comments:  Davidson's books about Goldy the crime-solving caterer are always fun to read. I love to cook and have toyed with the idea of becoming a caterer, but then I volunteered to help out at a few weddings and decided that I would rather spend my Saturdays

comments:  Also a mystery writer whose main character cooks (she owns a cookie shop)! Are you noticing a pattern here?

Jeffrey Palmer

comments:  Yes I love mystery thrillers! Just not too gory though! Palmer's medical thrillers are great fun to read, and since I'm in nursing school, I enjoy the medical side too.

comments:  I have read almost all of her books, although sometimes I get disappointed because I figure out whodunit too soon. My mom swears I named my son after a character (a good guy) in the one I read while I was pregnant.

comments:  I am a late convert to the Harry Potter series. My sis has read them from the beginning and always told me they were great, but I didn't start reading them until this summer. I was waiting until my son was old enough to read them before I even brough
