A Mainer's Rambles

An ol' down-home Maine native travels to Korea.

I'm a "farm kid" from Maine. After college and marriage, I taught a little, then settled down to raise a family. Getting involved in food co-ops led to a number of part-time jobs. When I became a single mom, a number of fortuitous changes led to a ten-year counseling job in a local hospital. When my youngest went off to college, I married again. Louie and I built our "dream house" in his home town. Then, his health went downhill and he passed on. I was floundering for an extended amount of time, until my son, who'd taught in Korea, talked me into trying it.

So, here I am, learning how to get along in a new land.
