A Well Kept Secret

Seester kooky:

A silly independent female computer geek who likes to play the drums, do abstract painting and watch the birds (its free). I suffer from depression and anxiety. I am trying to evolve not destruct. I do art. I do writing. I do music. I do men. Oops, I didn't say that.

My favorite music:

David Bowie, Elvis Costello
comments: I amazed by each voice and continuous creativity over the decades
Moby, Underworld, Daft Punk,Crystal Method
comments: Cool from blues to techno music
White Stripes, Violent Femmes, Godsmack
comments: When you are really pissed off, The White Stripes "Elephant" shows how to be simple, direct and still kick major fucking ass and they are from Detroit
Liam Lynch, Missy Elliott
comments: Shows different ways to be good at music and humor
Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, The Doors, Led Zeppelin
comments: For the dark, sick, sex crazed, dirty minded, depressed in all of us

My favorite movies:

Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive
comments: Films that scare you and mess with your mind, David Lynch is a dark genius
Ghostworld
comments: This film is hysterically funny for those who like dark, imaginative, intelligent humor
The Matrix
comments: Combines imagination, computers, awesome music, Keenu Reeves and Laurence Fisburne (makes me go mmm)
Better Off Dead
comments: John Cusack with an overactive imagination in an all time classic 80s movie with great inside jokes, cartoons, clay animation, etc.
Holy Grail, Meaning of Life, Life Of Brian
comments: Monty Python's hysterical movie about King Arthur and a couple of other really great Monty Python movies, but of course everything from Monty Python is brilliantly silly and great genius fun

My favorite authors:

Dennis Cooper
comments: extremely violently dark, twisted, sick, interesting take on things
Kurt Vonnegut
comments: Very interesting twists on thoughts or examining the way things are looked at
Arthur C. Clarke, Frank Herbert,
comments: 2001 was way ahead of its time, Dune is an excellent series after the first book
Douglas Adams, Monty Python

Jules Verne
comments: He wrote 20,000 Leagues under the Sea and others that were amazingly accurate about human nature and technology.

update: Still fixing stuff as fast as I can!. As you may have noticed, Diaryland is being renovated, which is still in progress. Bugs are all being fixed. The new design should work on phones much better than the old one, and pages in the members area are being converted to the new look one by one, so they can be tested. Please email help@diaryland.com with any new problems, but things that are already bugs should be fixed soon!
