Letters From Exile

I am a squatter. I live in Texas just south of the panhandle, in an abandoned estate house sans running water. I have a cistern for catching rainwater. I haul it by the bucket and heat it on the stove for everything from cooking to bathing, etc. Sound rough? Try washing your hair with it. It tastes wonderful too. I am a grandmother and an artist. I like it here. Come visit. I'll make some coffee.
