Mikes Ecliptic Ramblings

I like to say I'm crazy. Maybe thats why I've never met a psych major I didn't like. I love to write, so I tend to spill my craziness into my diary. So don't worry if it doesn't make sense, I'm being incredibly bitter and cynical, or I start to talk to moose for some reason. After all, the distinction between maddness and genius is razor thin. Or so I like to think.

My favorite diaries:

dandydandy profile - diary

The Doors
comments: The End, Light My Fire, Riders on the Storm, People are Strange are some of their best.
Muse
comments: I love every track on their CD "Absolution," which I actually bought.

My favorite movies:

Gladiator
comments: Battle scenes + death + revenge +more death = great movie.
The Boondock Saints
comments: Humor and mass murder all in one tight package.
12 Angry Men
comments: A classic courtroom thriller.
Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade
comments: The third installment, more action, more Connery, and more Nazis.
Others
comments: Office Space, All the King's Men, The Life Aquatic, Airplane, Schindler's List, The original Star Wars films, The Hunt for Red October, Unforgiven

My favorite authors:

Mark Twain
comments: Humor, thy name is Twain.
Edgar Allan Poe
comments: Some of the best horror stories ever written.
Bill Watterson
comments: The creator of Calvin and Hobbes. And yes, that is legitimate literature.
Jack Higgins
comments: WWII, political intrigue, and ruthless killers (a.k.a. heaven in a paperback)

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
