almost-sane's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I need to get LAID If the title of this entry doesn't tell you something, then I am afraid there is no hope for either one of us, my dear, dumb reader. If the title of this entry does tell you something, then by all means, read on. The thing is, I am starting to miss sex. Last night, I could have really gone for some, ya know? And what's worse, whereas before I just missed sex, I am now slipping into the phase where I miss a relationship that provides it regularly. In short, I am starting to feel lonely again. But not in a depressing way. Not yet. Just in a "I want someone to take me out on afew dates" sort of way. Also still getting over residual hurt from A. ditching me again. And as far as all that is concerned, I've been giving it some thought and have decided whatever I get, I deserve. I must have been delusional to think he was running to get back together with me for something more intense than a few one nighters. But no more sulking. Onward! I've been downloading music all morning. I am a woman obsessed. Let me tell you why-- First of all, MTV plays everything BUT music now. And as much as I LOVE Punk'd, I wish I could catch a few videos at night. What's more, I wish my cheap-ass cable company (Adelphia=scam) carried M2 (or even Showtime or Cinemax would be nice). Even VH-1 is slacking on music these days. Second, typically, in the car, I listen to country or a CD. I try to remember to flip on a pop station every now and then, but my memroy ain't what it was. So I am music deprived. I have no idea what is in or what's hot. I love music and when I had this epiphany a few days ago, I was very sad. So I clicked on Kazaa this morning, and downloaded KROQ's top 20, VH1's top 20, a few TRL monuments, and am working on Billboard and KIIS FM's countdonws. I've heard a few things I love so far. Big fan of the new Foo Fighters material. I even like a few of the pop songs I got. Really like Less Than Jake.
