Pretty much a busy day. I got my new lease taken care of. I cleaned the house. I made some phone calls that needed to be taken care of. I was still feeling a bit industrious so I decided to pull the covers off the sofa cushions and throw them in the washer. BIG mistake. HUGE. I pulled them out of the dryer and damned if almost all of the seams had come apart and frayed. Boy was I pissed. Mom came over to look at them and said that she couldn't fix them.

Denice came over later to bring Matthew home and cook on the grill with us. She said that she could fix the cushion covers and bring them back on Sunday. Xeth & Matthew played. Denice and I watched a movie. We grilled. We chatted. We took some pics of a few of the items that we wanted to post on e-bay. Then she & Xeth went home.

That's when Rob got here. He sat and ate dinner with Matthew then we went out to work on the last arch. It's finally finished and looks great.

I went for a couple of drives. I went out after Denice left but before Rob got here. Then I went out again after Rob was gone. I didn't go very far or do very much but I drove, nonetheless.

Sunday......

Today I mostly hung around the house. I was expecting Denice to come over so I didn't plan on doing anything. I took my medicine just before she got here and about an hour later I got so tired that I could barely keep my eyes open. It's really weird. Before I started taking the Paxil, I would take the Klonopin a couple times a day if I needed to and it didn't bother me a bit. Since then, if I miss a dose of the Paxil (which I did last night) then take the Klonopin it completely wipes me out. I don't know what to think of it.

Anyway, she brought my cushion covers back and they looked great. Clean and sewn. What a wonderful look to the house. Then she sprung her surprise on me. She brought all of her equipment so that she could cut my hair for me. I was so happy. My hair is down past the middle of my back, which is okay, but the front and sides were definitely getting too long. When my hair gets long enough that it irritates me to the point that I push it behind my ears then it's way too long in the front. It feels great now. I have tons of hair and it really take a load off when I get my hair cut.

I got to talk to Eddie this afternoon. Just for a short while but it was really nice. He's getting married to a wonderful woman. Lori is the best thing to ever happen to him. Gail (first wife) was a total bitch. I don't even remember what the name of his second wife was (I think it was Marta) but she left him when he became paraplegic. Basically, she didn't want to be seen with a "cripple". She was horrible. Lori is a God-send. She is just wonderful with him. They go out dancing, they love to sleep in on Sunday's and snuggle, they have all sorts of things in common and she really loves him. I'm so excited. I wish I could be there but I think they are planning a small wedding on purpose. Besides, I wouldn't be able to make the trip anyway.

After Denice & Xeth left, I tried to go to the bank and the store. I didn't make it. I was still really groggy from the medicine so I turned around and came home. I tried again around 5:30pm. That time I made it. I went to the bank, stopped at the grocery store for cat food and paper plates, filled my tank up in the truck then stopped by Mom's for a few minutes. I felt really good the second drive. I got a little edgey (sp?) towards the end but I made it!

I came back home at worked on my cross-stitch while Matthew & I watched a couple of really good movies and waited for Scotty to get off of work. He asked me before he went to work if I wanted to drop him off or if he should take the truck. I told him that I couldn't drop him off but that he couldn't take the truck. I told him that if I was still awake and able to, I would pick him up at 8:30pm when he finished. That little shit didn't call me until almost 10pm to go get him. I told him that he'd better be waiting for me out front. Was he? Hell no. I had to send Matthew inside to get him.
