How to pass the final in only 3 days?

One of my Japanese friend Hiroshi will be getting married in May, I cannot attend his wedding and sent a wedding gift to him when I was in Hokkaido, the store has shipping service included, this was a good option because I don't have to deal with shipping and packing etc...it was early February.

Last night, I got a thank you email from Hiroshi, telling me he received the gift recently. I'm relieved to hear it and now my worry for the gift is gone, he got the gift prior to the wedding day (16 May). But I wonder what's wrong with the store? I paid for express mail charge and they didn't send out the gift immediately? It would be VERY embarrassing if they got it afterward.

Speaking of Japanese, I'll have to take a final exam next Monday. This is a one chance shot. A pass/fail exam. They don't give you a score at the end. I've been lazy and now I have less than 3 days left for preparing, I guess I'll have to try my best to memorized all the study material.

A day on the Dragon's back

We walk this backwards, starting at Shek O road and miss out the first hill, end on the Shek O road. After a short break, we walk down to Hong Kong Trail Stage 7 and called it a day.

85th anniversary of the May 4th movement

Today is the 85th anniversary of the May 4th movement, which began in 1919, this day. It was a student demonstration for democracy, oppose colonialism, partly a reaction to Japanese military influence in Shangdong, the US, Britain and France betrayed China by giving land and railroad rights away.

I hope one day we have the choice to choose our own government, instead of having some western-educated marxist big brother make all the decisions for us.

However, some nationalist tongue, die-hard support for the Chinese Communist Party, not the Chinese people, shows that they have no faith in us to rule ourselves. I pity people like themselves, and hope that they all learn something from history. Before they get into that bullshit about western style democracy not being suitable for the Chinese people, keep in mind that Marxist, Socialism and Communism are all western concepts, as well as dictatorships such as the former chairman Jiang and the Chinese Communist Party.

"love of nation = love of the state = love of the party"

What kind of crap is that? To be proud and to be Chinese, does not mean that you must absolutely do so under the red banner of the Chinese Communist Party!
