Bought yet another tripod. This one is the smallest and most lightweight, though not as tall, and I managed to quickly rig up the simplest and most functional platform/stabilizing setup for a tripod yet.

Went to the OBGYN and the vital stats show my blood pressure continues to increase despite a solid year now of regular fairly extensive walking. They’re going to take me off the birth control in hopes it will help. The experimental “let’s see how the bleeding goes now” and “let’s see how perimenopause symptoms develop so we can see what needs addressed” interval will be during the summer travel, which will be loads of fun, I’m sure. Even more reason for me to be aggressive about maintaining my routine. I don’t know how, but I MUST. It has to be a priority.

Other than that, other than that, hope to get a couple photo sessions in this week of one kind or another, empty my cameras out, and get them ready to pack for Wales.
