It must be a very hollow feeling that accompanies the watching of someone who is leaving young children behind when they're buried in the ground.

If I believed that God takes people away from their kids and brings them to heaven on purpose, I would be furious with God, lemme tell ya.

Lee and the boys must be, on some level anyway, angry about watching Jeff die and "go to heaven". His boys need him here now. Lee needs her husband now.

I've seen sooo many elderly people living inside of bodies that simply can not go anymore die. It is logical. Sad to say goodbye, but it seems to make sense that their hearts have worn out and must stop beating.

I don't get angry, tho. Never have. Lazarus was dead for 4 days, and then was resurrected, without a word about the afterlife. Why wouldn't SOMEONE have thought to ask him and write down the details of the conversation? Wouldn't that be the biggest, most widely publicised testimony ever?

Nothing to get angry about. Jeff's not floating around somewhere, out of reach of his family who is missing him with a terrible ache. He does't have any concerns or problems. He's sleeping, as it should be. Ecclesiastes 9:5 says that the 'living are conscious that they will die, but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.' Death is thus an absence of life. In Lee and the boy's case, an absence that's keenly felt.
