Forrestino has been terribly vexed lately. Dan Rather has officially retired from the CBS evening news. With a heavy heart I cracked open a beer, the first of many that night, and watched as Rather finished up his final newscast. To be perfectly honest, I had hoped that Dan would do something insane during his final broadcast. I'm sure he could have let loose with a barrage of cursing and general violence with the fury of mighty Zeus himself. To his credit, he executed his final moments on the air with reserved dignity.
I'd been contemplating changing the background on this website, but have obstained. May the glory of Dan Rather live on throughout the billions of electrons that are traversing the world. Amen.
