lock, stock, and double barrel

wow. look at me. i'm adding a diary entry after so many months. actually, i had a string of entries at other blog sites, but i always longed for the simple design i was able to put into this one. i had a following of readers here and i do miss my fans. writing here was such a therapeutic experience. i do miss it, and since i'm now dating a new guy who is far from perfect, i shall endeavor to express my frustrations here again.

however, the repeated stalking of a certain person from my past has forced my hand and so i've locked up these entries. certain lucky people will get the password to read. don't you feel lucky? if you are really smart, you may also have guessed that the boy (who is now 5 years older than when i first recorded his shenanigans here) is still pining for me and visiting these entries to review his pain. i don't know if he's sharing them with all of his friends, but i'd rather not allow all of my works become part of their jokes and jibes.

out of the blue, the boy wrote me a farewell letter recently. i will give him credit; it was well composed, though written in haste; emotional, but not melodramatic; meaningful, but not pretentious. i appreciate that he may have been in love, but i still hold to my claim that he was in love with a concept of me invented in his head, not with the real me. i have asked him to find closure and he claims he has, yet he still travels from atlanta to my small town to party and calls all of my friends to join him. does that sound like closure to you?

in any case, i now have his signature and i've actually considered using it as the token of an effective binding spell. since he has been unwilling or unable to generate it, it's high time i assisted his sense of closure.
