Wedding Anniversary

Yesterday was our 9th anniversary, we did not go out as the
the boys have got chichenpox and are quite ill with it.
It was a nice evening though, I whipped up a little something
in the kitchen and had a lovely meal by candle light.

It was a bit frightening remembering how long we have been
partners 14 years in all, no mean feat by today's standards.
It's a real shame how being married to someone has lost it
permanence. It seems to me that society in general has lost
that sense commitment that we use to have.

It seems to me that life has almost become a through
away existence.

All I can say I'm so happy with my wife and kids, and I
can happily say I still love my wife, and would not change
her or my kids for the world.
