I can't quite believe that it's only two weeks until you come home. You've certainly spent your only coin (see above quote) the way you wanted to, and should have. The adventure of a lifetime, (although I hope this is the start of many more) and I can't wait to see you and hear all about it.
We had a lovely weekend seeing Nanny and Granddad and I'm so glad that you got to speak to everyone, even if it was a bit hectic. It felt like you were here with us. I know that Granddad enjoyed his little chat with you. We ended up staying up until quite late and me, Sherri and Ben were the last ones to turn in (at about 3.30pm!) I felt so tired the next day and surprisingly when I got up at 11.30 our Caron was still asleep. Not like her, I had to go and wake her up.
I was hoping that we could all be together when you came home but unfortunately your homecoming is going to be pretty low key. Daddy has booked to go away on the 21st July and Caron and Steven (she only told me yesterday) are going away for two weeks on 30th July, the day you come home. I don't know why she kept it a bit quiet, I don't even know where they're going. She said she thought she'd told me but clearly she didn't. Sherri, Ben and the girls are going to Norfolk on 2nd August but hopefully you'll see them before they go. Lauren is off at the weekend, to Rhodes for 10 days, but will be back the day before you come home! I was hoping we would all be able to be together but it's going to have to wait a little bit longer. I really hope you're not too disappointed as I know how much you're looking forward to seeing everyone. But, I'll be here, I'm not going anywhere, bit of a saddo really! I'll have enough hugs to give you from everyone!!!
Well, just 14 days to go and then you'll be back. I hope that you still carry on enjoying yourself and making the very best of your last two weeks. Get out there and have fun (or more fun, lol)as reality is back here and alive and kicking.
Love you so much my darling. I'm so proud of you, I can't tell you how much. I always knew you were a little toughie but never expected you to last so long away from home in a foreign country doing all kinds of challenging activities and enjoying every minute. Good for you. You make sure you stay safe for the rest of your time there and come back to me safe and sound. Love you so very very much xxxxxxxxxxx
