Today's been a good day. Mainly because I was spoiled to death by Christie, but over all it was a good day.
This morning, Julie and Shasta finally came and did an inventory of all of the stuff in the shed. I've been waiting for them to do it for awhile now, and now that they have, I'm hoping that they'll get most, if not all of it out of there.
Afterwards, Christie came over to visit. She asked me if I would go shopping for school clothes for Ashley with her. Because she got her grant money for school, she's been in a really good mood. It's kind of infectious when she's in a good mood. It's so rare that when it happens, I actually really enjoy being around her.
Shannon came over and had a cup of coffee this morning and visited for awhile before Christie and I left to go to Wal-mart.
Christie and I went shopping and she wound up buying me all sorts of scrap booking stuff. I didn't ask for it, and I'm wondering why she's buying so much for me. I think it's because she feels guilty, but she says it's because she likes how excited I get. Either way, I think that it's kind of a pay back for all the shit that I've been through. Sounds fucked up, but oh well. Spoil me damnit.
After she dropped me off back home, I played around with my scrapbooking stuff until Paul got home and he suggested that we take the rats to the park so they could play. I thought it was a great idea and asked if we could stop by Shannon's house to see if she wanted to bring her girls out too.
We all went to the park and it was so much fun. The rats bounded all over the place (the CUTEST thing I've ever seen) and it was really nice to see them able to have a big expanse to play in.
After Paul and I came home, I did a scrapbook page that turned out really nice. I had a couple of pictures from when my sister got married and I did a whole page just revolving around her wedding. For only having three pictures on it, it looks amazingly full. Could be that one of them is an 8x10...
I'm not really in the mood to write, I just wanted to make an entry since I haven't in three days. I'm watching Mulin Rouge and I can't concentrate.
