I had a pretty good session today with Beth. We didn't get into a whole lot but it was nice and calm instead of my usual getting irritated and complaining about whatever.
I finally went and picked up an application at Red Robin; it's a very simple application.
I then drove to Applebees because it's right there too and it was busy. I was shocked to see how busy it was. So the hostess lady told me that someone would come out and talk to me and they never did. The hostess came back and asked if I could come back after 2 because apparently it's supposed to be known that between 2-4 Monday-Friday is when applicants are supposed to show up. I understood that it was pretty busy but it seemed like they were calling me rude for showing up. Also, I'm probably reading into that a lot more than I should. So I'll go back tomorrow after counseling and before work and pick up an application and drop off the one at Red Robin. Maybe I'll even apply at the Olive Garden?
The more places I apply the better the odds I get an interview and maybe even get hired at. I want money! I want serving experience!
I'm going to ask George tomorrow if he'll give me the server training packet stuff so I can look over it and see what I really have to work on elsewhere to be successful at the Hearthfire. I really would love to come back and suck and make the other servers hate me. Hahahahaha.
I kind of have a friend I met off craigslist? She's a single mom and seems very interesting. I think my attraction to her though has a lot to do with her situation. I NEED to help people and she seems like she could use help; and whose help is better than mine? I don't know what she looks like but we have briefly discussed meeting up sometime for some food or coffee. The problem is she lives up somewhere by Tacoma.
That whole situation is strange just because it's very unlike me these days. If this had been me at 18 sure...I messed around with people all the time online just to be a dick and have something to do.
Also, I heard Regina Spektor's voice for the first time thanks to Pandora and I think it's great. I'm just sayin'.
