re: "I wish I could do something for you. I really do." well, now that you mention it... you can go out to the nearest coffee shop, buy yourself a favorite coffee drink (umm, medium to large), forget about today and be nice to yourself, giving-in to the fact that you are good, decent and worthy. you could flirt with the first interesting looking stranger who strikes your fancy as well (just for good measure to ensure that you believe you are all of the aforementioned things). seriously. do that for me and your (and my) wish will come true.

The first words I learned in American Sign Language were "not enough." I learned them watching Torch Song Trilogy when I was pretty young. "Not enough." Nearly 20 years later, I learned that love is not enough. It's such simple pathetic cliche, but it's also true. Remember, it isn't that you fall, it's that you get back up that matters.

Hi. Thanks very much. We always seem to get snow at the end of winter, which is good (hopefully) because it means heat is soon to come, but I'm in a place where heat is in short supply unlike you. I don't understand your latest entry, since I'm duty-bound to scoff at American sport. But you dip in and out of my diary whenever you can, it's always good to hear from you (even if I'm not so sure my ex-girlfriend wd agree about me being a good person). there's an art gallery in toronto. they have this one room with a ceiling that must be 15 feet high. the room is probably 20 feet by 30 feet in area. and on one of the long walls is one huge painting. i'm not an art history major or anything, but i didn't recognize the artist. but this painting - it's huger than huge - probably 15 feet long (at least) and 10 feet high. last time there, i sat on the floor with my kid. we just stared at this huge work of art. the people were larger than life. the horses were monsters. your post just reminded me of this. art galleries. thanks for letting me ramble. :) O

Oh, EXCELLENT suggestion, you lovely girl! I just left her a desperate plea for help! We need a dj for a program on Saturday to give an hour long talk to a bunch of girls about being a dj. The person they'd originally got to do it flaked, I guess, and if we don't find someone else, I'll have to give the talk. I had a radio show a MILLION years ago back in college, but I don't remember a thing. I'd just feel so bad if the girls came expecting, you know, a real dj and got me instead! So we'll see. I also remembered having met another dj a year or two ago through a friend here. I'm going to call her tomorrow and see if she still knows the dj and if he is the sort of person to help out a Girl Scout in need. I sincerely hope someone SOMEwhere is, man. DOESN'T ANYONE OUT THERE WANT TO HELP OUT A GIRL SCOUT!? At any rate, thank you for the suggestion, you lovely and clever girl. MWAH! <3

Two things: Have you ever read "This Perfect Day," by Ira Levin? Yeah, the Rosemary's Baby guy. It's about a computer called Uni. You might find it interesting. It could be an Amazon or Alibris purchase though, as I believe it's out of print. Second, is that EXHAUST in your notes? HOLY SH------!

I think you need a vacation in a lovely, exotic, tropical location like...OHIO! Well, okay. It's not really exotic, nor tropical, but parts of it are lovely! And I'm here, and that has to count for something. And I promise it would be fun! We could go to the friendly, no-longer-neighborhood bdsm bar and make fun of the tragically hip youth! We could drink chocolate martinis and watch cartoons! Or we could go see a midnight showing of Wrath of Khan! Or go to the craft museum! Or the art museum! Or go dancing with the homosexuals! Or go do lesbian karaoke! We could do all kinds of stuff! You should think about it, you really should. <3

from idiot-milk :
Hello, my darling girl. I'm sorry I've been the absentee friend of late, but I've been too embroiled in a recent crisis to remember to respond to notes and whatnot. (My most recent entry explains the current shit in which I find myself) I can't remember now all that I wanted to say in response to your various notes, but I will say that you're lovely, and wonderful, and I'm lucky to know you. And, on a positive note in regards to the current crisis, whenever you are finally able to visit, you'll have a lovely guestroom/library all to yourself in which to stay rather than a couch in the middle of the living room! There are, as it turns out, silver linings to everything. Hugs, kisses, inappropriate touches... <3

from beltwaybelle :
Lovie, I missed you so MUCH last night. I really...ugh, I thought, "Jen would love this." That's it. That. Is. It. You take a train up here. We go to a game, my treat. Because, my dear, you simply MUST see Ovechkin. This kid is not to be believed. He reads the ice like we read Maureen Dowd. He just GETS it. And he's not a puck-hog. If he thinks someone else can score, he'll pass. And I mean drop passes, back passes, the whole bit. But if he thinks he can score, he'll take the shot, and he's got a helluva shot. And he's agile. And FAST. Faster than the rest of the team, actually. In fact, I am going to call it right now: If he lives up to what he's showing now, WE DON'T NEED NO STINKIN' JAGR! Seriously. He's looking that good. I'm talking poetry. Jen, I felt JOY watching him. Sheer, childlike wonder and joy. You must come up. You'll love him.
from idiot-milk :
Any day would be a perfect day to eat chocolate with you, lovely girl. Any day would be a perfect day to do just about anything with you, for you are a darling, and I suspect we could have a fine time even just sitting in a closet playing with finger puppets. Things are okay here. In general, I mean. Right at this very moment I'm coming down with a cold, can't fucking sleep, and am more busy at work that I like. But in general, things are not terrible, not terrible at all. Things would be perfect if you were able to take a vacation. Things would be beyond perfect if you were able to not only take a vacation, but take it here with me in lovely Ohio. But mostly, even if you can't come visit, I just want you to have a vacation because you're wonderful and you deserve a damn vacation. You deserve so very much that is wonderful and good, and while I cannot provide everything that you deserve, I hope to at least provide a delicious chocolate martini for you someday. We shall sip our delicious chocolate martinis and eat warm-from-the-oven peanut butter cookies and watch cartoons. Ahhh, bliss. Things will change, things will improve, someday you WILL get everything you deserve and desire. You are smart, you are beautiful, and you are so very good. Crappy people like me are very lucky indeed to know extraordinary people like you. <3
from beltwaybelle :
Heh, now if I could only follow my own advice! Hugs!
from beltwaybelle :
Pushing yourself outside your comfort zone is pretty much always worth the effort. What do you WANT to do, but have always been afraid of trying?
from beltwaybelle :
OMG! Look at how neatly you've arranged everything! Wow!

Hi, thanks for the wire-related advice, and other comments, numerous times. I see yr next post is your 1000th, so I beat you to it, despite having no idea what to write (who'd've thought people would notice?). So congrats on your 999th. And presumably on what follows. Hopefully the world will be a better place by the 2000th.

Sinus infections are teh suck. You have all my sympathy, sweet baby girl. What you need is a hot toddy. It is very soothing on the throat, and after you've had a half dozen or more, even the worst sinus infection is dim memory. Sure, the recovery from drinking all those hot toddies is ugly, but whatever. They are tasty and delicious! <3

i'm much better tonight than i was last night. i went to a baseball game (God's sport, you know) with a wonderful friend. he and i enjoyed $1.00 beers (only one each, so no driving fears), some sunflower seeds (i prefer peanuts personally), 12 strikeouts, 4 home runs, a home team win, and lots of great banter together. then i came home to find your question about how i was, resulting in this note. a perfect evening in many respects. thanks for asking! want to go with us next time? i think you'd fit right in! let me know and i'll see if we can figure-out the logistics! ;) peacers.
from idiot-milk :
Hello, lovely girl. I'm sorry it's taken me so long to respond to any of your notes, but I've been busy as hell. And I suck, so there's that as well. As for VA, we were actually there this past weekend, but we had so many events and so many things to do, meeting up with you didn't seem possible. Which makes me very sad, but also makes me think you should just come here for a visit! Yay! Or, hell, I could come there, too. Not for a bit since staying at the Homestead was wicked expensive and I'll need time to recover, but sometime. Um, I can't think of what else I wanted to say. Hmm. Probably something about how you're totally awesome and I adore you. Because you are, and I do. Hugs and kisses, sweetpea. <3

Ohio! Definitely Ohio! We have beaches, and scantily-clad cabana boys, and warm, tropical weather, and...well...okay, we don't have any of those things. But we DO have a newly-remodeled bathroom with a tiki theme, and we DO have a blender. So that's something, right? And maybe the homo could be convinced to act as a cabana boy, though I doubt you could get him to go about scantily-clad. But he might bring us a drink or two as we lounge about the (inflatable) pool. And as for August...we're leaving in the earlyearly AM, probably 6ish, so we'll arrive in Hot Springs around noon. (And by "earlyearly" what I probably mean is "whenever we get off our asses and on the road, somewhere around noon because we're really lazy") Saturday is the wedding, I think in the afternoon or early evening, and then Sunday we're leaving, probably around noon or so, sometime after checkout. We'll not be there long, I'm afraid, but we would have all night Friday and Saturday morning free. I don't know if that's workable for you, but let me know! And if it isn't workable, then you'll just have to come to Ohio, right? Right! I'll make cookies! And we can watch cartoons! And go to museums (Yes, we have a few. Sure, nothing really good, but still!)! And do whatever it is that people do in central Ohio!
from girlsdontcry :

from idiot-milk :
Hey miss lady, are you anywhere near Hot Springs, VA? The reason I ask is that I'll be there in August for a wedding, and if you're near, we could, like, meet up and stuff! And if you aren't anywhere near, well, you should damn well come out for a visit. I mean it, dude. My couch is your couch. And we could watch cartoons and play video games and go for hikes and fly kites and...I don't know...STUFF! With booze! Huzzah! I'm just saying. You need a vacation, and while Ohio isn't necessarily the hottest of hot spots, I'm here and I'm awesome. At any rate, that is all, and I adore you, and you are wonderful, and MWAH! <3

I feel the same as your latest entry about my own diary a lot of the time (despite the good things you said about me lately, for which thanks). You'd think I'd have something comforting to say, but, um, hi, and not nonsense, and I hope you take the time to write how you're feeling, because that's all any of us can do (well, at this point it seems more important to me even than going to bed, so that must mean something).

I won't pray, because probably I'll burst into flames for trying, but I WILL keep you and your aunt in my thoughts. Take care. Be well. Hugs and kisses from afar. <3<3<3
from teop :
A belated thank you for the lovely birthday greeting you left for me a few days ago. I did have a wonderful day and start to my new decade. I hope you're having a wonderful weekend. :) Peace and love, teop
from idiot-milk :
HEY! WHAT IS THIS PASSWORD NONSENSE?! WHERE IS MY LOVELY COLORMUSICJENDARLINGGIRL?! I hope all is well, booboocitas.
from pandionna :
Birthday? I missed your birthday? I'm a loser. Happy Birthday, belated! And...are you locked for good? Are you sharing passwords? If so, may I? (But if not, I understand.)
from idiot-milk :
Happy belated birthday, darling girl. I suck for being late. You rule for being you. I wish you manymanymany happy and wonderful things. <3<3<3
from teop :
Happy Belated Birthday!!! I'm not sure which day it was this week, but I hope it was a good one for you and that you had a nice vacation from work. And I love the Yi-Young Lee poem you posted the other day....just beautiful! He is so amazing! Peace and love, teop

Gewerztraminer, or something. Pronounced gahVERTZtrahMEENer. Not sure how it will go with the chocolate cake. It's more an apricot-tart kind of go-with. Shiraz cries out for steak. Hope you feel better soon!
from pandionna :
Hearts to you!
from idiot-milk :
"I cant change things. nope. I cant make anyone's life better. There are No Miracles in these fingertips." You're so silly. Don't you know that just knowing you makes people's lives better? I'd rather have you and your words and your sweetness than anything money could ever buy. You're not, nor could you ever be, a wretched ass. You're wonderful on too many levels to list here. I adore you, sweet girl, and I'm not alone in that. <3<3<3<3<3
from teop :
hope you're feeling a bit better. I think we should start an "I work too hard" club, but then again, that would require work.....
from idiot-milk :
Poor kitty. I'm sorry you're sick and lonely. If I were there, I would totally make you some cookies and tea and we could watch cartoons all day and make fun of G.W. I hope you feel less crap soon. <3<3<3<3<3
from pandionna :
Awww. I hope you feel better soon. Me? Cranky as always. ;-)
from girlsdontcry :
The internet says: "Whatever the action may have been, if the main feature of your dream was a rainbow, it predicts the end of all your troubles followed by great happiness." Happy new year, then!
from lolamae :
Thanks for the note. I didn't think it was real. I sent it to some of my family and they were curious as well.
from pandionna :
Sarah McLachlan, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy. Great song, sweetie. Take a listen.
from idiot-milk :
You lovely girl. I got the e-cards, and I kept meaning to say thank you and I adore you and all that stuff, but I haven't had a chance until now. So, thank you! And I adore you! <3 And I think you are quite possibly the loveliest person I know. <3<3<3<3<3
from exhaust :
Insurance companies help if you have comprehensive. I did not. The good news is that now, my driver's side door doesn't open from the outside, so I won't get car jacked. (I have comprehensive now, and I leave the car unlocked in the hopes that someone will steal it.)
from teop :
merry christmas and happy new year, Jen. love, kath
from pandionna :
Well look at how adorable you are! Wow, Jen!
from idiot-milk :
You know what you need? A lovely vacation in beeeeee-yeeeewwwwwww-ti-ful Ohio! Huzzah! (Okay, well, Ohio kinda sucks, but I'm here, so that has to count for something, right?) <3

Lovie! Hockey is catharsis. Never let anyone tell you different. Who cares if it's violent at times. There's so much more to it than that. There's strength, speed, agility, and a certain grace that other sports don't have. Hockey is wonderful. Hockey is beautiful. Hockey is everything.
from trishtastic :
I don't always comment, but I always read. Happy Trish's Un-Lurker Day to you!
from pandionna :
Amazing, how people change over the course of one year. That said, you impress me.

oh my...i love that movie. the thought of angels being far away and yet so close...in fact, i think that was the name of the sequel which i also saw but didn't like as much as the first one. i hope you are well. :) peace, teop
from idiot-milk :
Eh. I don't know. Maybe nothing. We'll see, I guess. I've had cysts and tumors in the past, and I'm having the same symptoms now that I did then, so my doctor is a bit concerned. Also, I have endometriosis, and I guess that might be acting up, too. It's probably nothing. And even if it's something, it's still not anything life-theatening. I'm just crabby that it's happening now, when everything else is all sucky, and I REALLY don't want to have to have a surgery again. But it's cool. I'll live. Like I said; everything always has a way of working out. Would that we could go out for that drink, damnit. I could sure use one right about now. Or a bucket of them. Two buckets. Bleh. How are things with you, boo? I hope this day finds you well and happy. <3

here are 10 low-cost things to do: read a great book (although it by your list of authors, it seems you are well read), go for a hike and hear the leaves crunch under your feet, write a letter to a friend and snail mail it, make holiday cards, go to a movie in the afternoon, be the first one at happy hour, plant bulbs that will bloom in the spring, treat yourself to a massage, bake cookies, and lastly, invite some friends over for a meal or drinks/dessert...time spent with friends is never wasted.
from pandionna :
Hey sweetie! Got the note. I wrote down the pertinent info and deleted to protect the innocent from roving telemarketers. ;-) Have I told you lately that you rule? You do. I adore you. Hugs!
from girlsdontcry :
I'm still thinking of things to do with 10 days off, I was automatically thinking "go to New York", but MoMa's in the middle of moving back, and there wasn't anything that thrilled me about the Met, but I hear that the cupcakes at Magnolia are fab. So I vote New York. xxx
from pandionna :
With 10 days off, you can get a lot of writing done for National Novel Writing Month. www.nanowrimo.org That's what I would do with 10 days off. And I'd go see some local hockey, too.
from idiot-milk :
I heart you madly, pretty girl. <3

'verb, check your e-mail and respond to the one which looks beagle47-like, then follow the brief instruction. unfortunately, the whole t-shirt system is really set-up for snail mail responses, but for people like you and exhaust e-mail is no problem.
from exhaust :
Did it start when it got cooler? Because I feel like I could clean out the fridge.
from beagle47 :
'verbage...i still show no t-shirt sent to you. did you request one? if so, something has gone terribly wrong. if not, i still have yours set aside as one day they will find you. ;)

I love you, too, sweetie. You're my reason for wanting to head downstate a bit. Hey, maybe some minor league hockey? Hampton Roads? HMMM?
from pandionna :

from beagle47 :
weird. i just logged-on, checked my notes and there you were...updated. i dunno, but i'd keep blogging somewhere if i were you. of course, i'm not you, but i'd like to be some day. so, if you keep blogging, at least i'll have an instruction manual if/when the time ever comes when i'll need one. ;)
from pandionna :
Well, we must love, for there is no hockey this year. ;-) Many hugs, sweetie!
from idiot-milk :
I heart you, sweetest of all sweet girls. If sometimes I forget to say it, I hope you know I still feel it. <3
from pandionna :
Oh my. When it rains, it pours. So sorry this is happening. You're such a tender, kind, gentle, loving soul, and I'm grateful for that. The word "rare" comes to mind now. P.S. I'll miss Flood, too. A lot.
from beagle47 :

When I was young and single, I used women like that as lessons in how NOT to parent. And amazingly, I've managed to raise two children who have never destroyed somethingthing that belongs to someone else or lobbed breakfast cereal at strangers. But you wouldn't understand ;)

from jezolina :
Hey, listening to Joan Osbourne's St Theresa and thinking of you. Thanks for your note pumpkin. <3
from idiot-milk :
Poor kitty. Don't summer colds suck ASS? I hate being sick in the winter when the weather is crappy and awful, but it's ten times worse when it's lovely and temperate outside. Sigh. Please DO win the lottery! And I will try to win as well. That way we can both quit our crappy jobs which constantly bring us in contact with the great unwashed masses and their damn germs. Hope you feel better soon, pretty girl. <3
from refusal :
Hi. I've done my best to answer your questions in my new 750th diary entry. But thanks for the questions, which have made my brain churn even if I've pretty much failed to learn any lesson from life. I also just noticed when sending this note that you've very recently passed 750 entries without fanfare. So well done. And thanks for all your comments and encouragement.
from idiot-milk :
You are the best girl ever. I keep forgetting to tell you that, but I finally remembered! I suck, don't you know. But I wanted you to know that I think you're the bee's knees. If bees even have knees, which I'm not too sure about. But if they DO have knees, I bet they're precious and adorable, JUST LIKE YOU! And that is all. And carry on. Hugs, you lovely sweet girl. <3
from pandionna :
Thanks, Jen. I love you, too. Gawd, my entry earlier today must have reinforced your idea about marriage. I'm inclined to agree with you. But, I did it, and now I'm doing all of this thinking. Thanks so much for your love and support. You've been with me from the very start. I hope one day soon we can meet.
from beagle47 :
verbage...as of today, no e-mail. perhaps caught in the spam net. if you've already tried, one more time? thanks. -=b47=-
from beagle47 :
an e-mail with pertinent information is perfect. 6-8 weeks, and feel free to tell friends. thanks for reading 'verb. (you'll never be zero in my book...).
from idiot-milk :
Ha! I was just catching up on your entries, and I couldn't help but notice that you mentioned some time ago that Verizon dsl is your provider. Duuuuuude. That's where I work! Ha! If you ever need help, you just let me know. I'm totally for serious. Instead of calling tech support (and possibly talking to one of the six hundred mongs who work here), I can give you my real phone number and I'll help you out. You just let me know, peanut!
from idiot-milk :
Hello, sweetest of all dear girls. I just wanted to say hi. So hi! And tell you how lovely I think you are, and how someday I want us to get together over coffee or tea or koolaid and talk about nonsense things on a lovely Sunday afternoon. That is all. Fondest of all fond wishes, lovely girl. <3
from beagle47 :
thank you 'verb7. no worries. i'm just musing. the fact is, while my male ego hates to admit it, i am afraid we are completely gutless. i've buried the last entry. sleep sweet dreams...
from trishtastic :
Will you send me the password? trish@busted-stuff.com
from seastreet :
Hahahaha! Starlight Express! I saw that in London when I was eleven. My fam and I scored tickets to Miss Saigon the next day just to get the saccharine aftertaste out of our mouths. Of course, we were always a somber lot.
from exhaust :
Damnit. I can't check my email, so I didn't get to ask you for a password... May I have one please? (Thank you.)
from pandionna :
Password? Please? PLEASE? pandionna2 AT aol DOT com. PLEASE?!?!?!?
from idiot-milk :
Me! Me! I want a password! You are such a lovely girl, I'm sorry things keep getting sucky. Were you here, I'd make you my lethal peanut butter cookies, and hug the living hell out of you. <3
from idiot-milk :
You always seem to know when I need a lovely note to brighten my day. Thank you, lovely girl, from the bottom of my blackened little heart. You are truly one of the best people ever, and someday I'll hug the stuffing out of you to show you just ow much I mean that. <3
from oed :
Why did I not know that you have a dog? No wonder you have dating-life ambivalence ... dogs so much fill the basic need for companionship. Amazing that every human doesn't have a dog, already. Heh.
from beagle47 :
thanks a lot 'verb. i think my life needs a shake. i dunno. anyway, live long and prosper...
from pornoviolent :
what is all this, anyway?

i'm a bumbler. just got your guestnote and, gee, what a crappy host i've been! thank you. i wonder why i keep coming back here, but i sense it has something to do with sweet guests to my space such as you. peace, 'verb. "Grease is the word."
from pandionna :
Thanks, sweetie. They come from the salad bar at Giant. I think I'm just going to avoid them altogether for a while. I feel like Vesuvius. Only upside down. Heh. ;-)
from oed :
Are you due for hand therapy, post-drug therapy? My mother had a great experience in hand therapy in Richmond (why am a guessing that's where you are?) I think she had a crush on her therapist that was, ultimately, very healing. I thought the gal was pretty keen too. Best to you!
from idiot-milk :
Yes! I just got it this weekend! You are the best, most darlingest girl EVER! Every time I use it, I will think of you! Hugs, babydoll <3<3<3<3<3<3

from idiot-milk :
You silly girl. SILLY GIRL. You KNOW you don't have to send me anything at ALL. You KNOW I could never be mad at you for anything EVER. You are the dearest, sweetest, darlingest girl on earth. <3<3<3<3<3<3<3

This is a test. (beep) This is a test of the Emergency Valentine's Day System. (EVS) This test is to see if leaving notes around DLand will make this a wonderful day in spite of not particularly being with anyone romantically at the moment. (ummm) May the results be that all this love in my heart found some productive use. (smile) And maybe a giggle or few (Happy V-Day from funda too :)
from idiot-milk :
Those bastards. If you want, you point me in the direction, and I'll break some kneecaps. You probably still won't get paid, but at least I'll put the hurt on some of them. Maybe make `em cry a little.
from idiot-milk :
Don't you dare worry about me and my stupid car stereo one tiny BIT! You just worry about you, and feeling better, and stuff like that. Silly girl. Would that I could hug you in person. You are the lovliest person it has ever been my pleasure to encounter. <3
from floodtide :
You are amazing. Thank you for the thoughts, the healing energy, the prayers, the love. I adore you. I'm doing a lot better these days, actually. Nervous, a bit, about the future, but feeling much less anxious and unsettled. You are a Wonderful Light, and I am grateful for you. Love, flood
from pandionna :
I hope you can come up for the march in April. You know, we really don't live that far apart. When you get better, we could figure something out if you like.
from pandionna :
Sweetie, I hope your recovery goes quickly and goes well, and that you can take all the time you need to heal. Nurture yourself! Hugs, hugs, and more hugs!
from floodtide :
Dear Young Luke of the Bionic Hand: Hope you're not feeling much soreness or stiffness, and that the recovery is speedy. Couldn't help finding some hope in the fact that you just updated; obviously you can type? Or did you do all that with one hand? You are much in my thoughts. Love, ft
from idiot-milk :
Oh kitty! I'm so sorry to hear about your fall and surgery and and everything! Sending you oodles of gooey love. Hmmm. That sounds dirty. Well, you know what I mean. I heart you, sweet girl. I hope you feel better soon. <3
from floodtide :
Hey, Beautiful - thinking of you during the surgery, the recovery, all of it. So sorry you're having to go through this, but glad that you CAN be treated at all. A girl in the program here lost two fingers recently to a freak accident, so I'm realizing that it COULD - even though it doesn't seem like it - be worse. My love and best wishes and energy for healing are with you. ft
from beagle47 :
i'm sorry about your bad break. however, many people in this life go through their entire state of existence with absolutely no cool stories to tell -- having this bland sort of nondescript experience that Pink Floyd once chimed as "quiet desperation," yet you, why you now have this great "i remember when i broke my..." tale and, frankly, my guess is you just don't look that good on skates anyway. i sure hope you feel better. peace.
from idiot-milk :
You CAN'T send me a cd player! You CANNOT! Man, if I'd known what you wanted to send me, I would NEVER have given you the address! I thought cookies, or a sticker, or something. YOU CAN'T SEND ME A CD PLAYER! You are the sweetest person on earth, ma'am, but don't worry about me, I'm okay! I really LIKE lite rock! Well. Not really. But STILL! <3
from jezolina :
Hey sweetie. I know just what you mean. My job drains me of all personality whatsoevah. It's horrid, but work is work. I hope you had joyous holidays and good stuff. p.s. your wishlist is still not linked to your own. Mwah!
from pandionna :
Well, I don't know if I was "setting you straight" as much as just sharing my spin on it. If you look at other websites, they might be just as convincing in the other direction. A lot of Kucinich fans don't like Dean, and I can understand why. I don't agree, obviously, but I can see where they might see things the way they do.
from jezolina :
Thanks sweetie. I love you.
from idiot-milk :
You dear sweet girl. I wish the very best and most wonderful things for you, not only this holiday season, but forever and always. We will BOTH make it through the holiday season, and come out even stronger and better on the other side. <3

Thanks Jen! I'm very happy! I hope that things are starting to brighten for you too! You can make it happy, you just have to stand firm and will it.
from exhaust :
I'm sending kisses on the cold wind your way. It's not a crush anymore when your affection is returned.
from beagle47 :
hello. sorry to ignore your pain but chalk this up to an attempt at distraction. did you read the Henry IV review in Weekend friday? damn, i wish i could find the time to go. if by chance you are anywhere close to it i would think it were so cool if you'd gone and reviewed it (with fewer words than B.B.)...there, then, momentarily distracted? peace, and i hope you feel better 'verb.
from simon-lagrue :
Hang in there, kiddo.
from idiot-milk :
Deep breaths, babydoll. Deep breaths, and sometimes pudding helps. Also maybe long distance hugs from a total dork. I heart you, pretty girl. (You knooooooowwww, if you ever need to escape somewhere maybe not so exciting for a while, but with homemade banana muffins and lots of kitties, there's always a place for you on my futon. For total serious, girlie. You just say the word, and I'll shelter you any time)
from pandionna :
Oh Jen, I am so sorry you had to witness that. That must have been awful. And the fight, well, happens to the best of us. Goodness, how can we be in the same state, but I can't hug you?
from exhaust :
1) I hate signmyguestbook.com. 2) I just got your message last night, at some ungodly hour. 3) I'm really fucking grumpy (hour and a half OT on my first day). 4) Fuck boys. 5) Even my car is alright. 6) Let me know when a good time to call is... assuming I don't have to work until fucking midnight. *love you*

Awww, poor Colorkitty! I'm sorry to hear you're sick, and I'm sending all my love to help you recover quickly. (Look how much I love you! See how gay I am with the love and gooey sentiment? I don't do that for anyone else, babydoll) <3<3<3<3<3
from pandionna :
OMG! I just googled my diary to see how fast the listing comes through, and there was your post-Isabelle entry saying you were worried about me because I hadn't posted in five days, and asking if anyone had heard from me. AWWWW! Hug! Hmmm, now speaking of personnel MIA, have you heard from Leslie?
from beagle47 :
read The Ethicist, Randy Cohen on Tuscany Villas, their occupants and Uffizi tickets. if you do not laugh your ass off i will never leave another note here again. ;)
from pandionna :
Of course you are lovable! Girl, I don't know where you get this sometimes. Honestly. Anyone who knows you, adores you. I hope the Sallie Mae thing straightens out. Hugs.

from beagle47 :
i'm thinking me writing what you "always need to hear" is either an incredible coincidence or an odd sort of fate. who knows, but i sure am glad someone as seemingly nice as you gets something out of the words that seem to pour out of my feeble mind. thanks, 'verb. i sure do like what i know of you. peace. from pandionna :
Oooooh, girlie, if you ever get up here, we'll go to a game.

thanks. it might. i won't be heartbroken if it doesn't.
from obi-char :
I know, I'm never smoking anything but banana peels! PS - I heart you.
from idiot-milk :
You know I adore you, right? You always seem to know when I'm having an incredibly flat and horrible day. Your note made me smile, pretty girl, and for that I thank you hugely. <3

i dwelled on your note a while (like swirling a fine wine around in my mouth, except the words were swirling around in my head) and here is what i have decided: with my luck i would drop the book (the tao of baseball) on your ankle, causing a compound fracture and all kinds of twisted, horrible pain for you. i simply couldn't do that to a wonderful soul such as yourself. but, that was just the note of all recent notes. no doubt a high A, and i thank you sincerely. peace. (and i really mean that).
from pandionna :
Yeah, I heard your area got hammered worse than up here. We lost power a little bit last night, but nothing major. I hope they fix everything soon. See, this is why underground wires are better.
from lowest :
Hm. I hope we lit him on fire. That would have been fun.
from lowest :
[Insert Sunday morning coffee and smokes here.]
from discothekid :
There was a delivery problem with your addy. I tried to send it.
from beagle47 :
(as in "i feel the same way about you, too") but in the platonic sort of way. ;) ...can you believe this took three notes? i'd better start drinking...
from beagle47 :
oh, and "me, too"
from beagle47 :
i found a fraction of a midi of it, and the lyrics, i believe you hit it on the proverbial head. and on the rare occasions when i wonder, she does something so right (apologies to paul simon) that i'm reminded there is no doubt. oh, hey 'verb? i sure do like you. peace. (and i really mean that).
from obi-char :
Well, as long as YOU like it, that's all that matters. :p OH, and I'm so hippy that you like Radiohead, too.
from simon-lagrue :
You are asking if putting others' happiness before your own (all the time) is somehow a failure (as a woman) to others?!?! Who's life are you living here???? When do you get a turn, eh???? Who's looking out for you???? Serving others is great, but you should start looking to serve yourself, too. Its like a doctor who treats the sick, but never keeps her own health up. So I ask you, what good is a doctor who ends up getting sick because they dont tend to their own health???? Who can she then serve???? No one.
from blaiyze :
So....no reverb huh? Does that mean I won't be hearing from you?
from owenmeany99 :
in my life story, trees would definitely play a role. they'd watch over me, as tall, immobile friends...
from exhaust :
Thank you, Love!
from exhaust :
It's coming together, and the pieces are starting to fit. Someday, we can all sit around a table giggling at how silly we were. If I had it my way, I'd lead the revolt out of this box. But, I'm afraid I don't have the words to help any one see how I see. I'm still watching. I love you. *mwuah* [I tried to post some of this is your guestbook...]
from exhaust :
Love, you know where to find me. I'll be down at the river.
from exhaust :
Oh, yay! I'm really glad the box came today, that was QUICK! And, I'm glad you liked it. *mwuah*
from exhaust :
Haha!! Silly girl! Of course! I even left arm holes so I can type! *mwuah*
from exhaust :
Alright. I just finished putting packing tape on YOUR box. I'm mailing it tomorrow. Finally. *mwuah*
from idiot-milk :
I've always heard that what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger. As neither of us is dead yet from our retail experience, I can only surmise that we're the strongest bitches on earth. That surely has to count for something. Retail won't win, babydoll, and there are fantastic things on the horizon, I know it. Love always, Me.
from trishtastic :
Thank you so much. Even virtual hugs help.
from beagle47 :
i have had all of those days. do not give-up, 'verb. see, it is people like you not giving-up that keeps me hanging-on. (we need each other...). besides, you know what? i don't think it was him anyway. you need new glasses. ;)
from nopropaganda :
just wanted you to know that i'm back in action:)
from obi-char :
Well fuckin' said.

Pfft, I say.. conflicting schedules are teh shit. I miss our talks. Maybe, if I don't perish (insert dramatic music) we will talk soon. I have teh flu and am going to OD on nyquil. Yay!
from floodtide :
Hello, sweet one, and thanks for your note(s). Everyone has written with kind concern, and I've been touched. You may remember that I trashed a local production of "Footloose" with little less than savagery. Well, as a result of an unanticipated Google search the director and other friends in that cast read that entry (and many others as well) and my name is shit with about forty people right now. As a result of my own vanity and arrogance and carelessness I've deeply hurt someone I love. The diary is locked for good, I think, and for now I'm giving passwords to NO ONE, to no one at all. I can't bear to open it to "some" but not "others." However: after a week or two of cooling off and recovering from my shame and embarrassment, I will indeed give passwords (I think, though not sure yet) and of course I'm honored that you wish to be included. More anon. Love, flood
from beagle47 :
...well, i'll be damned... ;)
from pigment :
do you know Gloomy Sunday, by Billie Holiday? if not, donwload it with Kazaalite, you will like it, i think.
from the29th :
Thanks for mentioning djangos, I'd never heard of them. I'd ordered from secondspin before but haven't had much luck lately with availability. I just spent some money at djangos. I even searched before I purchased and managed to find an unexpired coupon for 10% off and free shipping for new customers, so it was an even better deal. Now I have Billy Bragg and Trash Can Sinatras on their way to my house. Yay.
from beagle47 :
my mind's-eye pictures you staring at the rain out of a new york window, upper floor, times square. and i click here http://www.earthcam.com/usa/newyork/timessquare/streaming.html to find it is raining there. you need jazz music to accompany the candle, a warm and fuzzy animal (er, dog, perhaps?), and, then, revel in some perfect moments that only another person could possibly destroy.
from owenmeany99 :
You're a hockey fan? I admit that I'm a die-hard fan of the Maple Leafs..... Truth be told, I enjoy playing more than watching, but I'd sure like to see the Leafs win the cup!
from owenmeany99 :
thanks for the introduction to this place. hopefully, i can make use of it. if i seem neglectful, send me a nasty email to remind me ;) O
from beagle47 :
i hate the risk of changing the course of nature, but i cannot resist: BOOKSTORE! ;) peace.
from supercilious :
I've worked through the mother dying and have crested into the california scene. I'm enjoying the book finally, the first portion of it was disturbing and hit way too close to home. And trust me, I'm not nearly as smart as you'd think, I only play a genius online :).
from obi-char :
I'm with you all the way, baby! OHHH, yeah.
from candora :
reading backwards in time, I stumbled upon dear mr and read again, then, again... and I do not believe in can't, so why did that one grab me... pondering, I thank you for pondering me.
from supercilious :
Also, I just started reading AHBoSG that you and a few other people keep likening me to. We'll see if I agree heh.
from supercilious :
Aparently, I sprained my wrist while sleeping. I should come up with an approrpiately dramatic story, however.
from trishtastic :
Thank you for your lovely note!
from supercilious :
I'm so out of the loop. When will life allow us to chat for a bit? Jeez =\.
from girlsdontcry :

funny. i wrote that down out of nowhere and thought "this cannot be typed into a computer. i have no idea what i mean." then your note. go figure. peace. (and i really mean that).
from candora :
about displaced persons - having been through it more than once, there is no easy way, it's emotionally dying and somehow finding the strength to start life over, letting go of what hurts and hanging on to what feels good (meaning memories, for that is all that is left)... remembering to focus on what she does have, the people who love her... learning an existential perspective helps...
from ravenlochlea :
Oh, forgot...love Tori Amos....yay!
from ravenlochlea :
Oh my goodness, you are just about the nicest person ever to care about someone whom you've never met. I truly appreciate your support and hugs and everything. You have no idea how good it makes me feel. Thank you! My email addy is SouthernSparkle84@yahoo.com. I will listen to pretty much everything and anything. If you do make a cd, I like to listen to Evanescence, Metallica, Maroon 5, just so you know how wide my musical tastes go...but thank you again for just leaving me a note. You rock!
from clevergrrl :
hello. Uhm, Thanks for adding me to your list. And you have a fabulous diary.
from winkgirl4 :
I've got an idea- lets skip work today. Let's run away so that nothing around us looks familiar and we can pretend that the days don't seem too heavy to get through. I'm sending you the love you need, wish I had more.
from winkgirl4 :
Thank you so much for the love. You know, I'm really, kinda needing it right now. Don't know that the eviction will be avoidable as it doesn't look like this is something I can throw money at- like I had money to throw. I think I could probably get through this if they'd just stop playing all those Celine Dion songs.
from exhaust :
I keep forgetting to tell you this: I love you. *mwuah*
from beagle47 :
note to self: take out trash, clean out closet, blockbuster for Wings of Desire.
from supercilious :
Yeah, the whole cap on children thing worked out real well for China :P. Now, what we NEED is standardized IQ testing and subsequent sterilization of anyone below, say.. 105? Eh, oh well. When will we get time to talk again? I have no time in the evenings anymore, wtf? :(
from fuzzy-grey :
YAY!! Run for office! Run for office!! You're the only one I know in this age bracket that has paid attention to anything that has gone on specifically for the past year. I do disagree that Bush has made a mess of thing, but there is still something to be said for someone who pays attention and finds out details!
from simon-lagrue :
I agree!!!
from fuzzy-grey :
Oh.... GOOD FOR YOU!!! I am so glad that there are women out there with respect for themselves. I would have jumped in the sack with him. Probably twice. And then wonder why he didn't want me anymore or was "done" with me. That gives me so much hope for my future children. You need an award or something. (Presenting you with award of being a linguist and someone who can keep it in her pants) YAY you!
from obi-char :
I would SO visit you!! And I wouldn't even need free tickets!! I love you, punkin!
from beagle47 :
you, my friend, are the best.
from supercilious :
Hey, kiddo. :)

I like the book title you assigned me. Excellent matching skills, I do say.

from simon-lagrue :
I know how you feel... one has only so much personal energy. And the problems of the world are large and are big sink-holes for energy. I am reminded of the Belgariad by David Eddings when Garion tries to resurrect a colt who was stillborn. Belgarath the Sorcerer informs our hero that once someone with the gift of the Will and the Word starts a task that they are committed and doing something as difficult as ressurecting a colt could drain your energy enough to kill you. An important lesson, I believe. Taking on some of these problems and putting all of your energy and seeing no impact or results can drain your energy until your belief, hope, or more is drained completely. We must pick our battles carefully, and usually that means keeping our energies focused close to home. Its sad due to the amount of suffering out there, but sometimes a necessary thruth.
from beagle47 :
a thousand thanks. i sincerely appreciate you writing so. i don't know what to think about your aunt's decision, i didn't know her. but keep the best parts of her memory alive -- pass them on to those that love or would have loved her had she lived longer. that way she's immortal. peace. (and i really mean that).
from simon-lagrue :
That's what's great about spreading smiles... its contagious... and it always returns to the sender :-)

Oh baby, you know I love you! I figured you were mad at me, because I never got around to sending that package (I'm really sorry, I'll get you one eventually, I still have your address). But anyway, I've missed you, and I still want to marry you. *smooch*

i was surfing through diaries this afternoon... i think i linked to yours through frequencies, which was another good read. thanks for the note. i'll check in again:)
from nopropaganda :
i'm in the process of reading your diary, but i had to stop half way and ask you if i could add you to my favorites...
from supercilious :
Okay but first you have to fill me in on what the fuck zeroreverb7 actually is, so I can make a banner to suit :P.
from seastreet :
OK, so I HAVE to continue my guestbook entry. There's nothing WRONG with PSH. I just... can't... imagine... touching anyone who was in Happiness with a ten foot pole. EVER. As far as I'm concerned, being in a movie that freaky earns one celibacy for the rest of one's life.
from supercilious :
hah! You don't even want to know what I scored on that goonie test.
from supercilious :
OMG go to bed!
from ravynemyst :
found your diary via a comment you made on Pandionna's site. i love your creative way with words. Keep your chin up about your job and try to find a few moments for yourself now and again. Would like to add you as a buddy and check back often.
from beagle47 :
i am very sorry for your loss. it sounds as if she lived life on her terms, which is truly a good life, though, if that is any comfort to you. peace. (and i really mean that).
from floodtide :
Thank you, beautiful soul! I'm checking my stats and what do you know? Several people have already linked to Vancookie's AIDSWalk site via my diary having come from YOUR diary; thanks for making the link. You never - NEVER - cease to amaze me with your generous heart. Love, Flood.
from supercilious :
Was it freaky funk-tastic?? :)
from supercilious :
I need coffee 'cause I don't get it =\
from zeroreverb7 :
Ok I just remembered it...a duck and a frog were in a pond and the duck says to the frog will you please turn down the radio..and it started to rain..:) hugs love
from exhaust :
Okay. I know for a fact, I'll be home.
from exhaust :
I did not get your email. :(
from supercilious :
Taking a picture is the ultimate form of flattery, to me. That means you care about something or someone. Nothing wrong with showing the world that you care. And sometimes, it's even like a punching bag :). Creative violence to keep you from running down the streets, throwing grenades at peoples faces!
from exhaust :
I typed life, I meant LAUGH. Fuckin' A. I'd give you both.
from supercilious :
Yeah! What the hell? :)
from supercilious :
Wtf are you doing awake?!
from supercilious :
It's a shamelessly stolen term :). I can't remember where I first read it, may have been Schopenhauer, but I'm probably wrong. I'm not actually smart enough to come up with my own witty terms, I just like to seem smart by stealing others hehe.
from supercilious :
Bah, don't apologize to me! :P The bible has indeed been of great influence on my life as well. Granted, more of a poisonous comedy, but it's still one of the more influencial books these days, mainly because of /others/ regard for it.
from ravenlochlea :
Thank you so very, very much! I really appreciate the support. I *heart* zero!
from thetallguy :
That was a beautiful description of Virginia. I was born and raised in Georgia and miss it dreadfuly. My backyard was the emerald forest filled with dragons, adventure, and a Christmas tree graveyard. A secret path would lead you to a pond filled with fish, frogs, and turtles. My pet turtle came from that very pond. Now I live in Vegas, a forest of light. Different, but every bit as fun. TG
from januaryfiend :
In my old house, these brilliant, lime-green tree frogs would attach themselves to the screen doors during the summer. Oh, and I used to catch lightning bugs in jars too, running around barefoot at night, wearing my nightie.
from supercilious :
Hah, you should have!
from januaryfiend :
You should totally run the world. By the way, I read "great dinner parties" and thought it said "great dinner panties." I was amused. PS - did you know that asparagus makes your pee smell funny? It's a fact.
from supercilious :
HEe HEe... my show.. HEe HEe... :)
from seastreet :
Awwwwww! I love that song! Thanks for the props. You made me play "Say Hello to the Angels" and jump around in my apartment at ten on a Sunday morning, no mean feat. If we end up diverted to VA for any reason, you bet your patootie I'LL buy YOU dinner. :)
from januaryfiend :
Mew is just so...yew. (PS - Mine was "meep.")
from beatlesgyrl :
The mystery is: every number you will come up with is a multiple of nine (9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, etc., if you do your math right). Every time you reload it, the symbols change. Doesn't it just make you wanna scream?
from thetallguy :
Hey, thanks for reading and the feedback. Please continue reading. Maybe my thoughts will make sense to someone out there. HELLO... hello ECHO... echo TG
from supercilious :
And now the note that's left showed up twice. Damn you, diaryland. *sigh*
from supercilious :
Hey, where did my note go?!
from supercilious :
Hey, where did my note go?!

HAHA, I haven't heard the term "chin pubes" in forever. And actually, I do need some paint...
from powerofrock :
Thanks for taking my survey. Sorry about the Foreigner concert.
from idiot-milk :
I have no idea, man. I think maybe I linked it wrong? I'm only pretending to know what I'm doing when I'm playing with html, see. I'm such a tard. Anyway...YOU DON'T HAVE TO SEND ME ANYTHING, SILLY GIRL! Just knowing you is gift enough for me. sheesh. You're such a good girl, you know. <3
from idiot-milk :
I heart you.
from supercilious :

But the consciousness demands to know, will there be grapes?! Weeeee
from c11h17n2o2na :
It's up, yo.
from supercilious :
It's funny. What would it be like if someone out there, somewhere, were to remember me as strongly as you do this JL guy. I can't even imagine it, really. What would it be like to make such a profound impact on someones life? hrmph.
from supercilious :
Getting another chest x-ray tomorrow. Feeling, perhaps.. 70%. Didn't help that I had a vegas weekend....... Right, so anyway, in regards to my 'needing' anything. There are a plethora of things I'd profess as to needing, but in truth, all I really need is a tank.
from idiot-milk :
Dude, did you notice that everything you type after you post that code for the quiz is a link to liquid generation? How fucking lame is THAT? Jerks. I was going to take it down from my own diary when I noticed it, but I was too fond of the result to do so. I am weak, so weak. Anyway, you do know I adore you, right? Excellent.
from supercilious :
Yeah I'm glad I went too. I almost didn't even go do to my atrocious luck at finding a date. So I found some old couple near the back of the theater and gave them the extra tickets I had. They were super appreciative so at least they didn't go to waste. *shrug* So when's your vegas trip? :P
from supercilious :
Les Mis was awesome. Wish you could have seen it. I can't say enough about the performance, just amazing.
from jezolina :
Tankya punkin, warm up otay? It is a sleepy day, I'm still in my pajamas! mwah!
from beatlesgyrl :
Don't fret. You're not alone in your views.
from jezolina :
Wind tunnel days. That's what I call them. You're being blown about and you shout in vain because the wind just carries your voice away. you struggle to breath, even your breath is being carried away. Sometimes it helps me to just close my eyes and concentrate on replacing my stolen breath with that which I know is good.Mwah, I hope your week progresses into joy!
from jezolina :
Grinding are the gears in my life. Much love I have for you, dear girl. You always make me smile warmly, thank you. <3
from idiot-milk :
You're the dearest girl ever. EVER. I don't think I say that often enough. I think you need to hear that more. So I'm saying it here, and screaming it to the world...YOU ARE THE SWEETEST, BESTEST, DEAREST GIRL ON EARTH. That is all. Carry on.
from idiot-milk :
shhhhhhhhh. I'm not actually having a birthday. For if I WERE to have a birthday, I would have to face the fact that I'm not actually only eighteen still. Which I totally am. Therefore NO BIRTHDAY! heh
from idiot-milk :
Butt eye <3 ewe! I'm a dork. Carry on.
from beatlesgyrl :
That entry about Nanna Eve was very touching. I rarely get emotional, but I just got done watching "Brokedown Palace," which always makes me weep like a victim on a soap opera. So, here's a tear for your dearly departed.
from jezolina :
I feel it too. Don't be ashamed of these sorts of thoughts..sometimes it's what keeps the world spinning and us grounded. Mwah.
from jezolina :
"..the spire is hot and my cells can't feel and I still got that belle, draggin my foots..". You rock sweetie. Feel better.
from beatlesgyrl :
Just wanted to say I enjoyed reading your diary, even though I'm not sure how I found it. Cheers.
from girlsdontcry :
Hello, I didn't forget your birthday you know, I was thinking about you, but I've been obsessed with myself, as you can probably tell. Thank you for your kind words. XXX
from exhaust :
You're lovely. You really and truly are, and I wish I told you that more often.
from jezolina :
I hope you're okay, I heard about the 50,000 without electricity. Take care and stay warm.
from jezolina :
Weird. I left a note for Leslie refering to Amelie and then I come here and you're talking about the Glass Man!! This must be the official Amelie day!
from jezolina :
OH!OH! That was the best surprise ever. I was feeling a tad grum, getting ready to go to work and after I warmed up my car and went to my mail box like I usually do. And there it was! Mwah! Thank you for the smiles and warmth.
from jezolina :
Wait did I miss it?!?!? Oh I should be hanged and quartered and have my bits placed at the four corners of hell. Well okay, maybe that's a bit drastic. Well Happy Birfestday to a dear sweet fantabulous girl. I Hope you get some good R&R and have a wonderful time <3

YOU HAVE ROBERT DE NIRO IN YOUR BANK? Holy shit, who do you bank with? I want Al Pacino in my account, RIGHT NOW. PS - You're going to get a package in probably a week. Yaay!
from a-splinter :
Glad you found Bitch magazine babe.
from idiot-milk :
I give you an open invitation to crawl up on my couch with me at any time. And, for what it's worth, I think you're way more important that any stupid tv show. Well. Except maybe Home Movies. I mean, that's a REALLY GOOD cartoon. But you're at least AS important as any cartoon. Which, while it might sound silly, is saying a great deal. Because GODDAMN do I love me some cartoons. Anyway. You come to Ohio. I will make you muffins and mochatinis and life will be not so bad for a time. You're a very dear girl, and I heart you to absolute bits and pieces.
from a-splinter :
And I'll be waiting for an update then. :o)
from unwittingly :
Thank you -- I need all the good thoughts I can get. :)
from a-splinter :
I'm looking forward to the day that you'll break into my jail cell and usher me outta this hellhole. That would be amazing. :o) So sorry that you don't get Bitch magazine anymore! Go to www.bitchmagazine.com and maybe you can get it sent to you? Or at least find a place where they sell it? That's how I found out exactly where they sell it here in Quebec.
from idiot-milk :
24 days until I am also 31. Have you noticed that all the very best people are born in February? I might be biased. But still. Lovely girl. <3
from obi-char :
Hee. You're really the best. Your emails really make my day. Email me your address, ok? I wanna bake you stuff.
from a-splinter :
You are so incredibly nice.

from floodtide :
Thank you for being a persistent source of sanity. You don't know how much it helps. Love, Flood.

Re: Supercilious's notes -- Thank you! It's good to know I'm not too incoherent or insane. :)
from jezolina :
Thank you. You remind me of a quote from book that was made into a movie "... may it be a light for you in dark places, when all other lights go out". mwah, sweetie.
from supercilious :
Hmm. I own at connect four. I'm a devious bastard at connect four. It's where I learned how to screw people over to get my way, really. Now that I think of it, I'm a brainchild OF connect four. Oh and I also play a mean game of Hungry Hungry Hippos. Fear me.
from supercilious :
Did you know self pity is actually one of the more overt forms of arrogance? :P Hehehe, just giving you a hard time. Because, you know, the world doesn't seemt do enough of that :).
from supercilious :
"I almost shut down my diary this weekend" Why?
from sarcoma :
Imagine a hug from me. I real big hug. Although, don't pay attention to my hand going for your purse.
from jezolina :
I love you because you are brave enough to share 50 facts about yourself especially even though you are shy.
from idiot-milk :
It's okay, funny girl, red-wine is coming over with a tranq gun and some pizza. Both me and my ass are SAVED! HOORAY! heh. You're the loveliest girl. I hope you know that. No bullshit. THE lovliest girl.
from obi-char :
Thank you, sweetheart. You're truly the best.

You constantly amaze me with your gentle, generous kindness. Thank you. I'm feeling a bit better this morning, waiting it out. And I will get back to see Roger about the throat. I promise. Love, Flood.
from januaryfiend :
What doesn't kill you will make you stronger. If you don't believe this, try pretending the bowling balls are weights. You'll get a good workout.
from a-splinter :
Hey. Thanks so much for adding me to your favourites and for that nice compliment. I really appreciate it! I, too, like your layout. Then again, I love anything with purple. Take care please.
from telax :
I think the finest thing about me is that you think I'm ok. I think you rule the whole universe, you genius cutie you.
from jezolina :
You are not boring, you are a lovely thing, you are. Mwah!
from jezolina :
love it.
from obi-char :
I knew I married you for some good reason. Dig the layout.
from sarcoma :
Sweet. You got my e-mail.
from jezolina :
Mwah, thanks dahling. I feel much better today. <3
from supercilious :
Err.. right, so anyway.. Did you get my email or is that email addy on your main page a clever trap for spam emailers and your various um, er.. Suitors :)
from obi-char :
Haha, "I see dead opossums!" You really are too damned cute for your own good. Let's get married.
from idiot-milk :
Lovely, lovely girl. As if I could feel anything other than absolute adoration.
from idiot-milk :
You funny girl. You're going to make me blush. Stay good, pretty, I have not the words for how wonderful I think you are.
from obi-char :
Ok, now I want to suck helium and impersonate Steve Perry for you. I wub you!
from obi-char :
Midgets and melons and Jen, oh my!

Thank you, you too! It's turing out pretty decent so far, hope yours is as well!
from jezolina :
Merry Christmas, and LONG LIVE JOE STRUMMER!! Okay, not really. But I hope santa is good to you.
from obi-char :
You can dance for me any day, honey. Reowr.
from jezolina :
I'm sending chicken soup vibes and warm cuddly comfortableness your way, hope your cold goes away! <3
from obi-char :
I wanna suck some helium from a balloon and recite poetry to you.
from supercilious :
Oddly enough, Best Buy santa did get me a DVD player, today as a matter of fact. Of course, my mother served as a proxy but hey, same thing eh? I'm hanging in there. I might actually update tomorrow, maybe heh.
from floodtide :
Rosemary Harris' voice reading Shakespeare with Beethoven playing underneath. Ah....
from refluence :
Hahaha!! You're the sweetest creature on Earth. I think maybe when I actually do my Christmas shopping, I may get microwavable socks. Until then, I'll stuff my face with comfort foods and take baths. *mwuah*
from obi-char :
I'm not married. Or pregnant. I don't have a boyfriend. I've never even been laid. I get paid 8.50 an hour to get told that I've been no help whatsoever. I'm not close to 'there', either. And I'm glad you're not. Our 'there' is 'here', so screw 'em.
from floodtide :
Thanks for your lovely, lovely note. Yes, thanks for asking, all is well - other than my cold and tonsil infection. MSB is on his way home from Ann Arbor, and I'm finding fascinating stuff in my old journals. And that someone as smart and poetic as you keeps saying such nice stuff about me - well, it helps. Thanks. Love, Flood.
from supercilious :
Bohemian.. Nicely put :P.. Unless you're talking about someone actually from Bohemia. I'll just assume you mean a person living an unconventional life. Anyway... Where do you want to be with your paintings? If I did have a zillion dollars, I'd start a getty'esque art gallery for those with artistic talent but little social talent. I'd then serve really good alcohol. Oh and shoes must be required to 'click' on the hardwood floors as one walks around. If anyone came with soft rubber shoes, we'd have hard metal/wood attachments to hand out at the door. It can't be a proper gallery unless people click. Damn it.
from obi-char :
Hahaha, you're damned adorable. Yes, even under the influence.
from supercilious :
Someone told me part of the trick was also abstaining from masturbation for the duration as well.... FUCK THAT! Oh and it's been hrm.. 2 months for me, but I haven't been concentrating on NOT getting laid, so I'm going to see how that works out. Who knows, maybe it could be the sequel! So far it's kinda craptacular. I've gotten to turn down sex from one ex-gf. Go me!
from jezolina :
I think it's hard for daughters to express how they feel to their fathers, at least I know it is for me. Best of luck to you. :)
from jezolina :
Good to see you're getting comfortable. Nice place you've got here ;)
from refluence :
Gottcha! You're it.
