Manda.. you aren't alone. We all start to feel that way the further into the year we get. In fact, my first year by the second semester I didn't know why the heck I was even in university. In fact, sometimes I still wonder that. I also wonder what the heck I am going to do with my life and and where STU is going to take me and where I will go after my B.A. But you know what, no matter what, don't let yourself give up. Keep coming to university. Next year WILL be easier.. it will be better, and believe me, you will thank yourself years from now that you continued in Uni and finished. Its too hard now to do anything really worthwhile without some kind of univiersity back ground. Don't screw yourself over in the long run because you don't want to finish out the semester. I have had days when I wanted to jump off the nearest bridge rather then do my work, o go to school or pull one more double at Empire.. but we do it. We do it and in the end you will have your reward trust me. You will.

At this point in time, you haven't been putting in any effort to me and you, so I find your intrusion extremely offensive. You know that I get extremely mad when you do things like this. I don't know how familiar you are with teh situation in this house. When one or more of us are in bad moods, it is pretty unbearable, and we've been living in about three days of Kyle constantly harping at us about anything he can think of. Just to say I love your layout. It's alot like the work of one photographer I saw (I've convienently forgetten her name!*doh*), who took photos of normal people in ordinary situations wearing huge white wings. This entry (Jan 13th) was really something for me to read. I had always felt the way you do about not being a D statistic until I was in a nearly identical situation to yours just a couple years ago. I have a younger sister, too. Of course she and I both knew it would be best for our parents to split, but it still was hard. My dad tried to stop the split at the end, but by then it was too late. We'd all lost our faith in it ever getting better. My mom is really happy now. My dad is too. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that divorce isn't always a bad thing. If you don't want to put up with the fighting anymore and the people fighting aren't both making an effort to change, then you and I both know what the solution is. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh. I know you don't know me, but if ever you do want to talk or something, you have my url.

Yes, I get that all the time! LoL Mine's a university/college, a brand new building with new programs, it's the University of Guelph (so I get my degree as if I went there) and Humber College (I get my diploma as if I went there too) and it's by the Humber campus which is in Mississauga. But the Guelph part of Guelph-Humber always makes people think I'm there! Understandable mistake!

I love my country, and every day I grow more prouder of it. We are known world wide for our peacemaking. whaaaat a beautiful entry. i'm with you, i'm proud to say that Canada won't take part in the war. i understand Saddam is a terrible man but that doesn't make Bush any better than him for fighting terror with terror, as you said. i don't care if he says that no civilians will be hurt, or that it's not going to be a bloody war. that's not true. war is bloody and there is no way around that fact. it also hits me hard because my boyfriend's parents were born in Palestine, as were his brothers and sisters, and they moved to New Jersey and then they came to Canada. they could've still been there. my boyfriend and his family could've been DEAD at this very moment because of him. he only lived there until he was 8 but he still has a lot of memories that haunt him. but he loves it here, no one makes fun of his heritage and nobody accuses him of being Osama Bin Laden. it's nice to have a place where, for the most part, everyone gets along; or at least we can be civil to eachother. i love Canada!

And I couldn't believe he made that comment, with you there, or with ME there, because I told him that 'Alex' is my friend. Thanx for signing my guestbook, and for being concerned about how i feel about my looks. Eh, maybe i AM too young to worry about that, but maybe i'm at that age now where i can begin to. Ya know? update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
