found you thru AnnaNotBob...Where are you these days????
from catsoul :
What flavor red jello? I can't eat anything with red dye in it anymore, boo hoo. My mom used to make jello with blending in vanilla ice cream, instead of the cold water part. That is so good, or jello with bananas in it. I am so into the possibilities of jello now!!! Doesn't take too much to make me happy anymore, it is the small stuff that mean the most. Take care, Art!! =^..^=
from annanotbob :
Hi Art. I haven't read you since I left Michigan as I'm in the library, don't know how to turn the sound off on the laptop and don't want everyone to go 'SSSHHH' at me when 'Quiet numskulls, I'm broadcasting!' booms out. But I hope you are well and I'll catch up with you at my next stop. Best wishes x
from annanotbob :
Hi Art, looks like we're not going to make a meeting, which is a shame. I thought Santa Rosa was much closer and that I could hop on a bus, but there are no buses from here. Or trains. I had a great day in the city yesterday, when you were in the hospital. Hope all that's gone well for you - did you stop smoking as a side effect? Take care, buddy. x
from catsoul :
OK, Art, I looked and I didn't see anything like that. I even asked my husband to come and look at my entry from today, he also said, that he see's nothing & said maybe it is your computer. So I don't know what to tell you. I sometimes sign this: =^..^=
from catsoul :
What do you mean a square, I didn't see any square on any of the past few entries I wrote, are you sure it was me? =^..^=
from catsoul :
Oh the threads that connect us all...so glad to read that they located your laptop, that is so awesome for you! Hey man, we got snow here last night, glad you have a bed inside!! =^..^=
from cocoabean :
yippee!!! I'm surprised it took this long for anyone to go online with it, but hooray!!
from annanotbob :
Twenty three years!!! Let's have a round of applause for that man!!! Have a good day - I think the whole world feels excited about America today. I'm going to be watching, that's for sure xxx
from my5cents :
Yup....Andrew turned off the comments section. Sorry to hear that Macy's doesn't have any work right now for you, hope you have some good meals this weekend and glad that you have a game plan set up for the inaugeration.
from yarnsmith :
I tried to leave you a comment but The all mighty Andrew turned your comments off...so I'll leave a note....I wouldn't be surprised if you Vegan buddy didn't get his way and get a Vegan meal. The kind of people that elected Lord Barack Obama the Messiah will expect that hand-out-ee's get what they want while those that provide share their wealth....as if they are not already sharing it. Yes..under Lord Obama, the terrorist shall run free, the vegan shall get his free meal and the working man will have to Buy the world a coke. This guy got his attitude from some where. Before you know it PETA will be knocking on the doors of the legislators telling them that they have to close missions that don't serve vegan.
from mel-is-dvash :
Hi! Thanks for the prayers. I can't tell you about Israel's constitution because we don't have one. In the early days people sat around and talked about what a constitution could/should look like (not literally) but somehow they never got around to writing one. There are often calls for a constitution but either people are too apathetic or the situation is too complicated, or a combination of both. Our laws are a combination of what was left over after the British mandate, some even older from the Ottoman Empire, Jewish law and whatever the gub'ment and courts have decided was a good idea at the time. I don't know that we have any legally guaranteed 'rights.' ... And since we don't have a representative gub'ment, we can't contact our duly elected representative to complain, either. Okay, one could complain, but the people in the gub'ment have no reason to listen unless they want to.
from boxx9000 :
MERRY CHRISTMAS. Peace, Love, Health & Happiness in 2009.
from annanotbob :
So glad you have somewhere warm and safe to lay your head these cold nights x
from annanotbob :
Good luck, Artie. All the best, Anna x

from yarnsmith :
No Sh&t!!!...A Statue of Lenin???? You were talking about education the other day...if our education system was worth two Sh_ts...these ignoramouses would know how good they really do have it here in the ol USA...as far as socialism is concerned though...I think due to the liberalzation of the schools....we are headed for it...I have met so many ignorant mastered degreed fools lately and it scares me.
from brightopal :
Your comments went POOF! So, apparently, did your entry. Fix it and try again?
from thirdeye7601 :
Happy Birthday Art! :)
from sunnflower :
I kind of lost you for awhile but thanks to the Users Online Right Now box on Diaryland, I saw you there and click - here I am to say hello! Glad you are find-able again.
from life-my-way :
If your asking about those republican idiots, hell no they're not worth your effort!!! Duh. If you're asking about quitting smoking, that is definitely worth your effort--it's been over 10 years since my last cigarette and it's the best choice I ever made. Hang in there, you dopey republicrat.
from my5cents :
Hi....I came over from yankeechick when you first left for Tombstone and followed your blogs while you were there. Sounds like you are on your way towards making a good life for yourself. I wish you lots of luck. Seeing how much money you have saved by not smoking on a regular basis is going to make a huge impact on you, I would imagine. Congratulations on making a new start for yourself.
from chailife :
Hey, Art, I found you again! Had no idea if you were writing anywhere, so, thanks for leaving a comment somewhere so I could find you! Good luck with the study. purple chai/oldewoman
from requiel :
You can totally do it. How cool would that be to quit? You would save a ton of money. :)
from brightopal :
You can do it! You're accomplishing TWO things this way: you are making some money AND you're quitting smoking. And you're in a hospital-type situation so your health is covered, too. Good for you!!
from sunstarr :
wow! if you peed 55oz and I *DRINK* 128oz in a given day (at least) i wonder how much of that i pee out? hmm... so glad you're doing well and earning money. sounds like they're at least feeding you healthy meals!
from thirdeye7601 :
my email is amanda9399 at gmail dot com. Please do let me know what all happened. I'm very confused and lost about all the drama...do you realize that it's been FOUR years since you and I met here! WOW!
from shear-madnez :
WooHoo! $100 a day! You're rocking this study. Congrats.
from thirdeye7601 :
I found you! WHOO! I'm a little confused, but glad to see you are ok. I'm assuming you left Tombstone ?? Sorry to hear things didn't work out, but glad to see you are doing this study...I hope it goes well for you! MISSED YA!
from capitolady :
Welcome back! Glad to hear from you again!
from life-my-way :
I'll read. Welcome back.
from sunstarr :
YAY!!!! You're officially back. Woo-hoo! (does happy dance) I am so pleased to hear that you're gonna try to quit smoking. I know it's a long, hard road but you are such a strong person that I know if you put your mind to it, you will succeed!
from brightopal :
Welcome back, Kimosabe. I know you are frustrated but ya know, you're surviving and you're making definite progress in spite of everything. Just keep looking forward and remind yourself that everything happens for a reason. It does, too.
from bindyree :
Welcome back!
from mahvalicious :
Hey, Art - I didn't get a message yesterday that you were thinking of going back on line and were wondering who would read. I sure will. I need to hear about life in S.F. Glad you're doing well.
from yarnsmith :
Hey ya Art..I'd like to read buy my bad eyes cant handle the color combination of dark purple and black...I'll read if you change it otherwise I just can't see it.
from words-4-less :
Well, of course we will read.
from shear-madnez :
Me too!
from ornerypest :
Well, I haven't taken you off my buddy list, so, yes.
from requiel :
You know I will. Come back!!
from cocoabean :
me! me!
from bindyree :
Oh, Art, I just have TERRIBLE news. KGO had their cure-a-thon, but since it didn't make a million dollars, the management has decided to switch to an all Christmas Music format. :-(
from boxx9000 :
ART! (hehehe) The ART school IS a GREAT *IDEA* but they have a whole school full of teachers that have NO idea how to teach art. How in the hell are they going to do that? They're taking on WAY too much too fast. K-8? YIKES that 9 different grade levels. You really can't just throw some markers in the direction of a child and then call it *art*. Arts education neeeds to be QUALITY arts education. Art history AND art studio combined. The arts state standards are already in place, they just need to be FOLLOWED.
from kidzpinkcat :
Nope. No family. No friends. No body for miles and miles. Don't worry 'bout me though. I'm just sad and bitter.
from fairygodmum :
Hey Hon... it was just a bad call on part of the electronics dude. He went to lunch and called over this kid, who didn't even have proper register training. He was a newby and those crooks clocked him... we call it Bum Rushing. Made him totally confused and didn't call security until after it was done. You could imagine how busy it was with clearance and additional 30% Off, and I was stuck in Layaway... whilst the Layaway gurl was stuck at the service desk which is where I should have been. Anyways... it was a Big Lesson for him and the store security. Hugz n Lub, Bebe da FairyGodMum
from boxx9000 :
You're one of my BESTEST friends. I know you always have my best interest in mind. THANKS. (((hugs)))
from boxx9000 :
My Dad liked squirrels. (like I like BEES) Whenever I see a squirrel I think of him. When Dave and I were going thru thu divorce, I SWEAR a squirrel was my Dad and he was talking to me. I hate to admit that because someone would put me in a mental hospital. I know it is impossible that my Dad was talking to me thru a squirrel. But, on some level I 100% FELT it was him talking to me. shhhhhh!~ Don't tell the guys in the white coats, ok? They might think it is ME who is the squirrely one. hehehehehe.
from boxx9000 :
"when you know ya right, say your right, and stick by what ya say" - acaldwell 1958-2145......OMG! You CRACK ME UP! I laughed so hard when I saw your quote in my comments. hehehehehehehe.
from boxx9000 :
YUM! A SUPER BOWl of clam chowder. I like mine in a sour dough bread bowl. double yum.
from boxx9000 :
I LIKE Oprah. The reasoning about making MORE money is to USE that EXTRA money to pay down (and eventually OFF) your debt. That is what I'm working on. There is ALWAYS some way to make a *little* extra money. Either by selling some *stuff* or cutting down on monthly bills. There was a time when I was QUEEN of NOT spendiing money. No TV, no cable, no car, no internet, conserve water and electricity, use coupons, buy groceries on sale......I'm working my regular job PLUS anything extra I can pick up like summer school, yard duty, tutoring and after school classes. There's ALWAYS a WAY if there is a strong WILL to do so. It may not be a WHOLE lot, but every little bit extra DOES help. AND....pay cash for everything, NO MORE ON CREDIT!
from boxx9000 :
For Art: Dave played in that tennis tournament when it used to be called the TransAmerica and it was held in San Francisco. We checked it out, and it sounded like a good idea, but the time off is so hard to get. I'd have to get a sub. We would like the FINALS tickets and those are over $100 a piece. But, it was sweet of you to think of us and we really do LOVE tennis.
from boxx9000 :
For Art: hehehehehe. I spent MORE time watching Cheney & Pelosi, too! hehehehehe. The speech was NOT as bad as I had expected. I really do NOT like Bush at all. I don't like politics. I DID enjoy listening to some of the commentary AFTERWARDS. I just can't understand WHY we don't have a better government than what we do?! There are plenty of smart, talented, people in this country. WHY does politics breed such power hungy greedy people? They can't ALL be bad, can they? I wish a little *cream* would rise to the top. I think Hillary is looking much better these days, prettier. I like OBAMA.
from radiogurl :
I can't post to your other comments. My sis has ALL pop-ups turned off and since it's her 'puter I won't mess with it. Glad to hear the Zipmeister is doing okay, and that you found an alternative to the vets who charge so much
from boxx9000 :
To Art: I'm glad your card arrived so fast. Sometimes the Post Offiice is amazing when they aren't busy LOSING things. hehehehehe.
from fairygodmum :
Funny thing is that today, January 7th, I picked up an Elvis Christmas Tree Ornament to send to you from the Big Retailer! Please email me an address where to send Okay!!! Happy Elvis's Birthday! Hugz n Lub, Bebe da FairyGodMum

I have pics.
from bindyree :
hey, congratulations on post number 900! xox Brin
from spazs :
Hm, its not playing! And I love all the seasonal shit!! But maybe its cause I havent got the right mediaplayer or because of the pop up blocker? I thought I had downloaded media player 10, but it says Im missing a plug in...? I also think that song is most beautiful.
from spazs :
Oh, and I really think that feature where the comments appear on the top of the page is superswell and cool.
from spazs :
(That was not sarcasm...compared to me you are good with the templates, ok? So dont bark at me for being sarcastic, I was not.)

from mahvalicious :
Aww, Zippie Boy - now wonder he's growing so big. One of Lovely Daughter's cats comes to visit me and has discovered the bird feeder that I have right outside my window by my computer desk. He spends hours watching chittering away, whiskers vibrating, and his whole body quivering. Such entertainment!
