It's boys, I tell ya. They are accident prone! My husband, when he was a child, drowned (was flatlined and brought back!), was hit by a bulldozer (yes, a bulldozer), had his ear sewn back on after it was caught and ripped off by a bike to gate accident, and broke every finger in one hand and 4 in the other - all before the age of 6. So . . . conclusion . . . Boys! They are accident prone!

Wow I was browsing through journals and I came across yours, and I read your first entry and already was entrigued. You and I share the same thing of giving up childhood to care for our mothers. Although I'm still on the young side I sacrificed all of my high school after school days caring for her. She suffers from alcoholism, and with five kids she snapped easily so I had to be sure she didn't take her frustrations out on my siblings. My da recently left us so that's also tearing her apart (speaking she's now a recovering alcoholic), so I'm now sacrificing my college career to stay with her and make sure she does okay. Your journal is very interesting and I hope you don't mind me adding you to my favourites. ^-^
