i just had to tell you. that i read the story the book was named after. Everything's Eventual. and by that he meant. everything's great, grand, awesome. everything is going as planned. "everything's eventual". which i thought. was just interesting.

i absolutely love your theory about walking/falling INTO love. it just put such a vivid image into my head. in my case, we've fallen in together, which , as you say, doesn't happen often. we pretty much tripped right in unawares. and now, unfortunately, for one reason and another we're both trying to get out. we're in too deep though. which makes everything seem impossible. and improbable. whoa. enough about me. i enjoy reading your updates. i especially enjoy your lyrical/literary references. makes me smile and scratch my head to read about our similar interests. crazy sometimes.

okay. here's the plan my bashful friend. we find out where this "girl" of yours lives. right? then we, uh you, knock on her door, tell her to close her eyes when she comes out. when her eyes is closed, take the rose flower thing that you have in your hand, because you have one in your hand, and kiss her very softly, then put it into her hand. then say, "hyuck. so... you got a date to prom yet?" and then dissapear hurriedly before she can say no. sound good? okay. here's plan b. go to her window and throw rocks or uh... something at it. and when she pokes her lovely head out, say "i'm madly in love with you! come to the beach with me!" at the beach of course, you will have some studly arrangement of something or other to impress and seduce her, and then you grab the cider, steal the trophies and make for the border like it ain't no thang. you dig?

things aren't always melancholy. i don't know why, but they aren't. and even though the princess bride alludes to kisses that are perfect come along very rarely, and you seem to agree, it is after all, just a kiss. it's what comes afterwards that really counts.
