Re: your notes. A friend bought me those sugar free creme savers. Yum! They are smaller than the regular ones but I don't see much of a difference in taste. I've had the Meringue cookies. I usually can't afford them at 4 bucks a pop. They are yummy though. You can eat a lot and not feel guilty! I bring them to parties!

3/1/04 Ahhh...dress shopping! So fun! It's nice to wear some stuff even if you could never in a million years be able to afford it. As far as the picture thing goes, they had to stop doing that at my gym because someone was being stalked. They only put pictures up of people from gyms out of town. Stick to your guns. Don't let them put your picture up if you don't want them to. On the other hand, if you do want your picture up, it might help you be accountable because everyone would be watching.

omg issues with food...lets not even go there. Movies are my favourite therapist. One time, I was feeling particularly crappy. So, I was doing a movie marathon. I went to two matinees. When I left the second film, I discovered that a blizzard had actually started during my hibernation. I'm sorry about you & Wayne, and I was kind of wondering how you were doing since you seemed to talk about him less in your diary. I know what it's like...it's tough and it hurts, but things do get better. Whether you and Wayne end up back together, or you meet someone completely new is uncertain, but 20 is an awfully young age to be so committed to someone. I think you did the right thing by not leading him on. You were honest about your feelings towards your best friend - there is nothing wrong with that. Things feel different now... maybe not as secure, but these are the things that make you stronger. I speak from experience on this. Eight months after a similar situation I found this wonderful new guy and, four years later, we're planning our wedding for next October. Not that you should be a hurry to find Mr. Right, but my point is that you've now opened the door to new possibilities. I wish you luck! :)

It hurt. For a long time. Eventhough we rarely see each other now, I do think of him, and I do hold him close to my heart. I agree that you're feelings are completely normal. All I can say is echo what was said before me: with the weight loss things DO change (or so I've heard) and maybe the way you look at life has changed so that you and Wayner aren't a perfect fit anymore. Hey, thanks for the salad dressing recipe, it sounds great, and I sure could use something new! I forgot to mention that I love your new layout, by the way. I am so impressed with all your exercising, make me really want to get my ass in gear! When I lost the 130, I did Tae-bo, yoga, weights, and cardio, religiously, and I was left with a weird stomach thing, but that had been (and still is) my worst/biggest area. It is not pretty, I'm afraid that horrible surgery is in my future if I don't want to carry this "thing" around anymore, after I get to goal and stay there for awhile. How old are you? I'm 33. They say that the younger you are, the better your skin firms up and back into place. Keep working, you're a great inspiration!

The people who sing Summer Jam are The ______ Project...something...And the guy's voice is too uptight I think. Tone quality is too airy. It really didnt hurt. But I AM fairly tolerant to pain. It pinched, like when you squeeze a zit close to your eye, and then your eyes water. My cousin took hers out and you'd never know, but I dont really plan on taking it out. Its classy, and I.Like.It. :)

You may have probloms finding a place that will give you your nice little sparkly stud at the time of piercing. I had a hoop, took it out the next day and replaced it with a small diamond stud. But I do know of places that will put a stud in but usually it is one of those bigger studs like the ones you get when you get your ears pierced. I didnt get an infection replacing it the next day, but my body is good like that. I guess my advice is to call around. Those little studs are not good metal and so you may react to it if your nose is not totally healed. Ok, end of nose piercing lesson. :D

good luck with the weight loss thing! I went insane over prom a couple of months ago and started counting calories insanely and not eating ANYTHING high calorie and only drinking diet soda and water. I dropped a size in about two months without much exercise, but now i'm so motivated to do more! I hear weight watchers is good, i hope you do well with it...don't expect results too fast and good luck!

Aww thanks for getting back to me!! It sounds like lots of fun and now I am looking forward to college. Ok so ummmm... I'm not going to college for 2 years but... heheheh my sis is leaving this summer so college has been talked about forever in my family it feels like, therefore I am thinking! I want to be an elementary teacher like 2nd to 5th grade. I like the thought of having the summers off since I want to travel and also so I can have random jobs for fun! My second grade teacher had a major impact on me so that also has something to do with it and I am a craft buff! I love to make pics of random stuff and use glue, crayons, markers, scissors, and construction paper! (I am really a five year old at heart!) Well, seeing as I have already made a fool of myself by being freakishly over planning for the future I might as well talke about colleges in general. heheheh I def. don't want to go to a really big school unless I fall in love with it or got accepted to NYU. I am not going to Rutgers since I don't want to be with my sis (a little bit of unsolved jealousy issues there! But I love her!). I want to go somewhere nearby but not within everyday driving distance. Those are my easy requirements! Then there are the most important and more demanding requests... AIR-CONDITIONING is a must!!, private baths or suite bathrooms are prefered!, and Rooms can't be gloomy or too cramped! Well, that leaves me with few options! hehehe well there are still two years to figure it all out! But then I probably won't end up living at college according to my dad who thinks that my whole floor will be annoyed with me and label me the Bitch to ostrasize! I got my swimsuit, a black halter for only $15 and you wouldn't believe how many compliments I get on it. But most of their clothes are scary early nineties style. Ugh! yea i was at the feb. show last year. and the bryant park show was so good. the didn't really play the best songs but they talked a lot and there were lots of improv songs. the funniest i've ever seen them. there were LOTS of people there. i think the whole field was filled. someone uploaded it on barenaked.net if you're curious.

Yea, Vern's designs are probably the most consistant in awesomness (I made that word up for this note only!! feel special!!), however I still think Frank's designs are the best because they are livable. I don't think tye is kinda dumb he is funny and compared to Amy winn he is smarter!! He is always making better stuf!! I'm actually hoping that he won't want to dance so much! I just don't dance at these things, but I still have a great time. I think I danced for like 5 minutes total at the junior prom, mostly I just talk and go on the dance floor and pretend. My junior prom was held at this Polish hall or something, which is just this place in town where a lot of special events are held. My senior prom will be held in my school gym which sounds kinda bad, but is actually really cool. They put a red carpet in front of the school and make this huge facade for the front. The lobby and hallway leading to the gym are decorated really really well according to the theme. Like last year the theme was "Times Square" so the front of the school was decorated with all the famous signs from there and from broadway shows and it's really nifty.

I can beat you. My parents bought me a boy cabbage patch doll when they first came out. A BOY! I was devastated. I was five. Boy's were yucky at the time. His name was Eric though and that was the name of the boy that my parents used to babysit for who sort of became my faux big brother. I used to dress him up in a bonnet so he could be a girl. He was bald and had two front teeth and a red sailor suit. That is probably where all my issues with men stemmed from. >'.'< That was also way back when cabbage patches still had normal names. My sister's was named Cleo but she called her Annie. I thought it was practically illegal to change their names.They had birth certificates for crumb sake.

My mom nonintentionally paired our names Katie Carmen- Sarah Samantha and Adam Andrew that is in order. I'll have to get back to you because I can't remember their exact middle names but my old babysitter and now penpal Amy's kids are Tabitha and Toby but they have like 6 middle names. Tabitha's last middle name is Seagull. Sad huh? It doesn't help that Amy's husband took her last nane when they got married. My mom blames this all on the feminist college she went to.

Congrats! on the job only $10 an hour, wow the economy must be a lot different there. I make $8.75 at the gas station and that is considered good since most jobs like that start at $6. And I have NEVER recieved more than $30 for babysitting.

These kids are so visual that films work rather well - they're pretty much rapt in attention when I put them on. Today, it was more of a case of me knowing I couldn't stand up there and teach with my ankle the way it is. The last time, with Dead Poet's Society, was because a movie makes a good sub plan when you scaffold it enough.

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
