Brill guesser = brilliant guesser. I was rather ah...shall we just be blunt and say drunk last night. (Thankfully you didn't read my post! I haven't yet either, but I imagine I shall shudder when I ever do get round to it...) I get slangy when I do that. The meaning was that you might have just brilliantly guessed that Booth ROCKS!!! I have nearly everything by him. The first I ever read was "Seventeen". I have read all the Betsy-Tacys as well, and have even found a copy of "B & T go Downtown", but it's so early that it's only just titled "Downtown". I can't believe you live so close to Mankato! I am at present on the West Coast of New Jersey. I shall now go back and check you out, as you sound like a lovely person. Cheers!

that could be, but i've been trying to get a response out of him for FOUR weeks!!! and nothing! so i've filed a complaint againt diaryland with PayPal since that's how i paid. If they offer a 30-day money back guarantee, they should honor it, don't you think?

i got the gold membership Oct. 12 and have emailed them on a regular basis ever since i decided i wanted my money back on the 14th! then, since it was paid with paypal, i tried (twice) sending a request for payment and no response back.

Hi! Sorry to hear that diarylands screwing you over at the moment. However, when I had a goldmembership I think I sent in a couple of e.mails and it took a while for someone to get back to me, if at all. Just keep e.mailing and tell them that you cancelled before your 30days ran out. They'll probably give you back the money. If not, don't pay. If they complain about it: Tell them to check their e.mails more often. Good luck! -Jennifer
