Hey Christy, I have a really strange request that you may or may not be able to fulfill. (It would totally be okay if you couldn't.) Are you able at all to teach people how to make template designs?
from onlyyouknow :
Hi! It's Sam! I miss talking to you! Email me some time at [email protected]
from andrea-lynn :
Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I am using your Birds of the Air template. I love it. Actually, I love all your templates. They are beautiful. -Andrea
from onlygrace :
those are some powerful words. it really hits home. ;) be blessed, and be a blessing.
from iamblessed :
Hello Christy darling. Remember me? I was thinking about you, and took a look at Faith Designs to see if there was anything new up there. There was a time, quite awhile ago now I suppose, that I used one of your layouts which was entitled, I'm fairly sure, "Walk in the Light" and it had a little man walking in a lightbulb. I freaking loved that layout! Do you know where it is or how I could find even the picture, so I could make my own with it? Love always: Courtney
from godsong :
Hey there! I tried to call you recently, only to be told your number has been disconnected :o( I'd love to hear from you! [email protected]. Have a blessed Christmas!
from true-diamond :
These designs are great, but i'm having e-mail link issues, please help.
from minstrelite :
Your relationship with your dad remains me a little of my daughter's relationship with me, only she's not yet a Christian, because she still thinks Christianity is "only a religion." In fact, you can pray about all that. (I don't have AIM anymore until I get a new laptop, by the way, as mine was stolen recently.)
from mugwhump :
You so rarely update these days. I hope all is well with you. Blessings - LJ
from mugwhump :
Amen Sister!
from minstrelite :
Hey Christy--thanks so much for your note! My only regret is in my being humanly incapable of offering Him the full measure of praise that He deserves. I can only praise Him to the best of my limited ability, and take heart in that there is neither salvation in any other. So praise His name, now and always!
from final137 :
Ah, Frank Peretti. Bested only by C.S. Lewis.. who is bested only by Scripture.. which is not bested. :)
from godsong :
Hey Christy - sorry I have't been in touch. Things have been intense lately. I don't think I'm going to be able to make the retreat this year - so sorry! Please give me a call when you can. Thanks.
from mugwhump :
Nice to see you update. And I love the new look. It is new, isn't it?!? :-)
from mugwhump :
I think there is something extremely theraputic about colouring. Particularly colouring with crayons. I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I do own a colouring book. It comes in helpful when crafting my cards isn't going so smoothly, and I need to mellow out. :-) Keep it up.
from godsong :
Stopping by to say hi! Hope all is well. Would love to hear from you when you have time! God bless!
from minstrelite :
Also sorry to hear about your nephew's grandmother. (I didn't see that at first, then read the entry over later.) That must be horrible for him. You are in my prayers.
from minstrelite :
Sorry to hear about your brother. It sounds like he is recovering though. I deleted those entries. Take care and God bless.
from minstrelite :
Hi again, I IM'd you on your AIM but I guess your status was set to "away" at the time. In any case, it will be great to re-connect, and I'm thrilled to have heard from you. I imagine you will be busy with the Passion Play, though. Today I'll be away from my computer for a while now. I have to go running and I have a few private students later on in the day. Then this weekend I'm going back to the Bay Area for another recording session. I am feeling good, I stay fit and God has blessed me with excellent health for a guy my age. On May 10th it will be two years since I have taken prescription psychiatric drugs, which at one time contributed to my downfall. I really like the quote on your profile, and it rang true for me. My daughter is doing better too, she is back in the Bay Area now and managing a restaurant, as is my stepdaughter. Take care, Christy, and God bless.
from minstrelite :
Christy, thanks so much for checking in--I had no idea you were still around DiaryLand! I just got back into town after a day of rehearsals in San Francisco. I'm still living out in the country, and teaching piano & voice, and things are going good. Hope all is well with you (out in Pennsylvania??) Take care and God bless.
from deadwater :
Oh wow, yes, I live in the Enola/Mechanicsburg area. And I got to highschool in Shiremanstown. x) God bless you too~ <3

Something went weird with your front page. Or is it just my computer?
from wearethebody :
gotcha. thanks so much!
from wearethebody :
it was at the end of Mark. It starts off like "and when you hear of the destroying terror"
from dearkate :
Hey, it's chaucee (toweroflove) just to let you know i've "sorta" moved my diary to this one. This one is probably going to be more updated than the other one. Just in case you wanted to know.
from wearethebody :
what is "the destroying terror"?
from wait4you :
Wow, to think God loves us that much...it just doesn't always seem like it because I'v read of the wrath He has, but then He sent His son to die for us, but then...so confusing. It's so hard to understand. Maybe because it's too good to be true, you know? But with God anything is possible...I should do a devotion tonight, I haven't done those in awhile. That is, soon as I finish geometry and chemistry. Augh, those classes I'm so good at. Not lol. So how's things going with you?
from wait4you :
Hey, finally I added you to my favs list :-) thanks for adding me. Glad that you're closer to your dad. Prayers do work? Last year I didn't belive in prayer; I refused to pray actually. But this year I'm getting better at it, reading a little bit of the Bible every day. But I'm into Horoscopes and stuff now...it's just nice to have something for me to rely on, you know? You know I really admire you, you have an amazing faith and I wish I had that. I'll talk to you later, take care, McKenna
from mugwhump :
How was the women's retreat?
from wait4you :
Hey, I'm not sure you remember me, but I am back on dland, long story...anyway I'm at school right now and since I'm not allowed to check my email, I need to ask you something, so could you email me at [email protected]? If you could that would be great, thank you so much! :-) Take care, McKenna

I've had you on my favorites list for the longest time, but I hadn't read your diary in so long for some reason! I caught up on a few of your entries, and I want to thank you for them. Stuffed with gentle reminders of things we all need to think about more often. And I absolutely love your layout. ~Angela~
from free2dream :
Sometimes I read your diary and I think...this entry was for me. Thanks.
from fightn4life :
I am thrilled you added me to your list of favorites; your Diary is awesome. You are so right about losing much of our life in the grip of worry. The longer I walk through this life the more I try not to worry while looking for the wonders set before us. When I find myself in a whirl of depression, I sit down and count blessings. That list is gifted to us by God. I look forward to reading more of your writings. How strangejust when we need to "hear" something it arrives at just that moment. Not so strange now is it. I was reading through your diary and saw you have the same book I do, The "Purpose Driven Life" you are right it is a life-changing book. Sandyz

It sounds like it was a very interesting conference. I was at a conference a couple of years ago where Henry Blackaby (sp?) was speaking. He said much the same stuff. It makes you stop and think. Thanks for posting this one. Blessings - LJ

Hey Christy - been missing you! Give me a call sometime!
from mugwhump :
What a beautiful song that accompanied your entry today. It kept playing it while reading other bloggers. Thanks for sharing! P.S. I also enjoyed the personality quiz. :-)
from onlyyouknow :
That little test just is to odd. For Your "Fly Girl/Guy" name I end up with S Elf. That's just wrong.
from paigexr :
Hi Christy! Are you familiar with Sara Groves? She has a song called, 'Like A Skin.' It deals with wishing we didn't have to deal with our sin-nature - wishing that everything magically changed (we're supernaturally changed - WAY different!), instead of growing up in the Lord through the changes He brings over time. If you don't know her music, stop by her website (www.saragroves.com)& check her out. Her REALISM & HONESTY about the human struggle has been a beautiful blessing to me! Have a wonderful day! :0) Love, Paige

Hi Christy! I loved the post I just read about worship! I got saved at 19 under just those very circumstances! It's amazing you can't be down while lifting your hands and heart in worship. I hope you don't mind, I've added you to my buddy list. God bless and have a great night!
from free2dream :
I see what you mean. I love watching the process in music though...how artists record their songs, the plans they go through to start their tours and things of that nature! OOO Left Behind 3? Coolness! God bless!

Hey Christy, it's Steph. I was just wondering if you remember Bethel, haha.
from hardcorefan- :
Awesome! Thanks so much!!!
from hardcorefan- :
Christy, Andy said that you designed his banners for his diary. If you have any time at all and felt like it, could you possibly design some rockin' banners for my diary? You don't have to, I just thought I would ask!
from hardcorefan- :
Also, I understand about your car. I think mine is also ready to commit suicide or something. I have to pray for it all the time.
from veronicalife :
Locked my diary! Check your e-mail for the password :) [email protected] one.
from hardcorefan- :
Christy, your diary rocks...and especially this entry about being God's masterpiece. That's exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks for writing about it!
from twintale :
Is it wrong that even though I know I'm saved, there's still this feeling of complete terror any time the end of the world is mentioned? Doesn't the Bible COMMAND me to look forward to it, with hope?? Sorry, I just had to ask someone that. I wrote an entry about it a long time ago - I guess it's just the fear of the unknown. ANYWAY, your entry was great, though. It just made me think. ~Angela~ p.s. - you're on my buddy list, but I'm not sure if I'm on yours. If I am, and you ever wonder how to read my (now) locked diary, this is the username and password-u/n: under p/w: grace

from starfishchik :
Hi Christy, I was wondering if you could solve a technical problem for me. The image for the Lighted Path link that I use on my site is not showing up (it's just a white box with a red X through it). Also, none of your images at all--no matter who's diary it is, including Lighted Path's main page--are showing up on my computer. I thought maybe it had to do with my internet options but I couldn't locate a problem there. So I was just hoping you had a solution to my prob that I must be overlooking. Thanks for your time. :) *Brandy

I love Nichole Nordeman and Jeremy Camp!! They are AWESOME!!! The Princess Bride was also a great movie, so sweet. :o) I really admire your faith in God - I always have, just never really have told you. I think I should now. Thanks for being a Christian sister I can count on. Keep living for God. ~owyn~
from minstrelite :
Hi Christie - I went to a number of churches here in my new town until the Lord led me after much prayer on my part to an Apostolic church about 3 miles from me. He's in the process of cleaning up my thought life, which as you know has been scrambled by 12 years of high-potency psychiatric drugs as well as abuses of alcohol. It's been over 5 weeks ago since I have taken a psychiatic drug. I prayed for total deliverance with a counselor at a Pentecostal Christian Academy, and He answered my prayer. He is good, so good, and I am so underserving. Praise Him.
from iamblessed :
Hey Christy! How's it going, girl? It stinks that you can't get online as much anymore. I used to run downstairs every day just to read your diary! I still run downstairs, but mostly to get the computer before my sister. Thanks for the awesome entries over the times. I'm doing a lot better now. I printed out that big long e.mail you sent me, and I read it all the time. Just to remind myself. I love you! I'm praying for you and thinking about you always! .Courtney.
from minstrelite :
Hi Christie, and thanks for your most recent entry, especially number two. I've been feeling a little bit indigant because it really does seem that my enemies are those of my own household at this time. But I suppose I can't blame them, because the only "me" they have known is a guy who was riddled with psychiatric drugs for 12 years prior to about a month ago, when God delivered me. So I'm finally myself, the way God made me without legal mind-altering substances, and nobody in my family can handle it. But I guess I gotta just ask the Lord to bless them, and I gotta love my enemies. God bless.
from lacblue :
Hiya christy, How are ya hun? I just wanted to let you know, since I am a member of your directory, that I changed my diary- it is now rocketcoyote. from discipled :
//raises eyebrow at mad_rhetoric hmmm.... thanks... but im not THAT bad surely
from minstrelite :
Hey Christie, I just happened across your recent entry. I have issues around stewardship of money too. It sounds like you have the right attitude. I was stresing about this replacement photo ID thing, never seeming to have sixteen dollars when the DMV appointment is or when I'm within range of the DMV to expedite things; it was frustrating me because there's so little one can do without a photo ID, then I prayed about it and left it in the Lord's hands, and a while later I was blessed with a discernmnent of how relatively insignificant it really is. Anyway, praise the Lord.
from mad-rhetoric :
Thanks so much for being an encouragment to discipled. It's better when he hears it from more than just me. *hugs* I'm so glad other Christians are shining their lights in dark places! Thanks for being such a blessing! Your sister in Christ, ~Sarah

hello. i recieved your note. you seem to know a lot about the forgiveness of God from reading one of your diary entries "He still there waiting"... it'd be interesting to discuss this with you...i know quite a bit about it from experience too. im a living example of the grace of God even though my troubles mean im not terribly great at displaying such a message
from paigexr :
Hi Christy! Just wanted to pop in & say I hope you have a wonderful day in the Lord. Your entries encourage me & today I needed that! Love, Paige
from iamblessed :
Hey darlin! Long time no .. hear! It's definetely not wrong to be admiring your own template, especially one so awesome! Thank you for it, by the way! And thanks for liking my changes.. I'm always worried that they won't look good . And then I always mess them up. Fixing things isn't really my thing .. hehe. I'm like obsessed right now with that picture of Jesus! It's so awesome! Anyway, talk to you later, Miss Peacock! hehe sorry .. In His Hands, Courtney
from chikyblonde :
Your comments thingie wouldn't let me put this long entry in. Man, your entry today was like you knew exactly what I was going through. It was like God spoke to me. Thank you. I'm struggling so hard with these stupid things and I've noticed I don't spend time in His word or in prayer anymore. I can't remember the last time I actually sat down and discovered His word. last night I knew He was promptimg me to spend time with him yet I decided to watch tv instead. I miss God. I miss fellowship. I wish I had someone I could confess my faults to and be healed of. I've ran backwards into old habits like smoking (which is really starting to weigh heavily on me) and I don't want to do it anymore. I'm too ashamed to talk about it with people who care about me because I feel they'll be so disappointed in me and I really just want to let this go. I need Jesus so badly in my life and the image of Him holding open His arms to me waiting for me to draw close touches me so deeply. How I long to run into those arms and to just be held by a Savior who never stops loving me, never stops caring for me, and never stops praying for me. To cry into His shoulder that's carried me through so many times and to just let His love capture my whole being. Thank you Christy. You're such a vessel for God.

I'm ready to do so and I think it's needed. If you can let me know when you are next at Rich & Heidi's - perhaps I can call. Talk to you soon!
from minstrelite :
Christy! Once again, it's been too long! Have you read me lately & do you have any idea what's happening with me? I thought yesterday's 5 1/2 hours in a terrific Christian church service and class was awesome, and I wrote about it last night, but today was even more awesome! I don't know if you know I'm a Pentecostal now, and I have a good chance of teaching at a Christian School where me & the owner Jim have been in complete agreement. We gotta catch up. Love ya, sister!

Lucky you, getting to be Mary. When I was at school, we had nativity plays every year. And every year, I was a shepherd. Except one year when I was Joseph. I really wanted to be an angel: but they said angels are blonde or ginger and I am too dark. So I had to wear a teatowel on my head all the time. Even the fact that my teatowel was the same as Yasser Arafat's did not console me. lol. Good luck for your play.

Have you heard them? what do you think if you have? if you havent, you can listen to clips on her website, michellewilliamsonline.com. i'd love to know what you think because it is so obvious that you are a person of faith. and besides, she is my favorite member and the more people i can expose her to the better. :) hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks for that last note, it really put things in perpestive (sp?) for me, and I know you're so right. I think that God has been giving me all these trails lately as a growing experience, and I know at the end I'll come out a stronger Christian, so even if it's hard now I have to keep at it and just keep reminding myself that God knows what he's doing. Thanks for praying for me, it's always nice to have some support! I might take you up on that offer to chat sometime. God Bless xx

I don't know who has or will read this but I look forward to using this diary to watch myself grow as a Christian woman. I really hope to make an impact with this journal even if it is only in my own life." This was your very first entry on Jan 15 '03. Just wanted to tell you that you have acheived such great things through this diary of yours in the past year. Philippians 3:14 says : "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." You are pressing real hard, girl! I don't know what I would do without you and the help you have given me and the God that you have helped me see. Through your daily teachings, I have come so close with my Lord. I have you to thank for that! See you in heaven girl, if not before that. Love ya! In His Hands, Courtney

That must have been the best "ramble" in the world. Christy, I love to read your diary. It is a blessing to read about the work God does in your life, knowing that he can do the same in mine. Your God-inspired words are so wonderful. You may not know it, but your diary is so refreshing and you have helped me a lot. Sometimes, when I wasn't going to church *shame shame*, your diary was a source of spiritual sustenance. I can't describe how beneficial it is to read it. It is nourishing to my thoughts. I wish every diary were as glorifying to the Lord as yours. Many many blessings to ya. Have a wonderfully awesome day! ~Jesse

Hey hon, I read your note in God's perfect timing, because I just found out not 5 minutes ago that there's a new Jesusjosh on the block, if you know what I mean. *nudge nudge wink wink* That's right, Spacegoat Josh is Jesus! Wheeee! Can't wait to hear about your dream, and see you once again! Have a super-dee-duper-dee Jesus's birthday with your fam! (Yay exclamation points!!!!!)
from ray0flight :
While I know this is based solely on opnion I don't really agree with what you said about losing salvation. I did some research on the subject and the general thoughts seem to be no one is sure. I thought I would bring this to your attention that I took from a vineyards website: The Bible stresses that salvation completely rests on trusting in Jesus Christs death on the cross as full payment for our sins (John 3: 15-16; Romans 3: 22-24). Faith alone is the basis for our salvation. It is not based on our own merit or performance (Ephesians 2: 8-9: Titus 3: 4-5), nor is it based on the amount of our faith. It is the object of our faith that matters. Trusting in Christ (not anyone else, including ourselves) brings salvation, a strong sense of security settles in our hearts as we realize that while we are the fortunate recipient of Gods grace and mercy, we are not responsible for earning it. Its free! Although we never lose our salvation in Christ, we can lose the enjoyment of close communion and fellowship with our heavenly Father. For example, when one of my children sins against me, it temporarily hinders our ability to be close and enjoy each others company. But even though all is not well between us, that child never ceases to be my child. The same is true for those of us who have trusted Christ as our Savior, whenever we sin against God and put distance between ourselves and Him, we are still His children who are secure in His love. That is why in Luke 7: 50, Jesus told the sinful woman whose faith had saved her to go in peace. She could rest and not worry about where she stood with God. That relationship was eternally secure.

from sixhourdrive :
i liked the shrubbery one, but ya know..that's just me.
from sixhourdrive :
Christy you have 10 options. I'll list them and you'll just have to decide. Okay. Ahem. 1) You get rid of the goat and the cow, 2) you buy a llama at a flea market and sell it to a blind man, 3) you give a small child a nickel, 4) you bring a shrubbery to the knights who say "nee", 5) you turn into a newt, 6) you tell me to get off the monty python theme and buy me a soda, 6) you paint a picture of a lightbulb and actually make it light up, 7) you tell Jamie that she's deranged and then arrange her, 8) you jump rope to alabama, 9) you buy me kittie litter, 10) you eat a piece of chocolate pie with no hands and tell everyone that you are a beast. I'll let you decide.
from sixhourdrive :
Christy...okay this has gone too far. Look at little Jamie over there crying in the corner in a fetal position. WHAT NEXT??? I just don't know anymore. [shakes head] I need to tell you something, miss I like to harbor goats and cows, sometimes you have to sacrifice for the well-being of others. I don't care if the cow made milk and I don't care if the goat had a beard. This is tearing us apart. I hope you'll make the right decision.
from nuntobe :
Christy, just...just the dissappointment. Why, just tell me why? First the chicken, and now the cow. Oh but wait, and there is a goat also. *raises hands to the sky* By the love of santa, how could you do this? *breathes in and out and wipes tears* I just feel that if you don't separate yourself now, then it will soon be too late. Please Christy, *gets on knees* I beg you, just let them go now, just let them go now.
from sixhourdrive :
Christy, look. We need to get rid of this cow. I know, I know. You're attached, but the future consequences are...bad. If we do it now it will be better for you later. Trust me on this one. And we also need to get rid of the goat.
from minstrelite :
Christy! Awesome! You don't know how much I've been thinking about you! How are you? I'll check your diary soon and try to find out. I'm doing great! After all those years of being a closet Christian, God is finally doing a work in me, and I'm boldly witnessing more and more, to people I would have been terrified of before! And if you've been reading, you know that my chess-buddy Rob has come to the Lord! Anyway, about the tape, after I put out my second offer, two more people immmediately requested one. However, one of the two has yet to send me his or her address (I think it's a him) - I've sent him an e-mail requesting it, and after hearing from you, followed it up with a note. If he doesn't reply within a reasonable length of time, you've got it! Anyway, great to her from you, sister. I went through a confused period for a while after Mom died, but God used it for good, and, as I was once taught, "the restoration is always greater than the thing being restored." Praise the Lord!! And God's blessings on you, my sister, always.

Just wanted to say hi. Hi. :) Also, I love your new layout. Have you thought about designing layouts with Christian music artists?? That would be quite interesting. God bless!!
from notthischick :
You're totally right. I made a decision to simple give it over to God. I won't push us getting back together, and then if we do I will know it's because God wants us to, and not just because I'm missing him. I'll just keep praying that God shows me the reason for breaking up with C, and I think that'll explain it. I like what you said about C being the worst I can have, and all God's plans for me can only be even better. Makes me remember that God wants the best for me, and if He wanted me to give up C it would only be to make space something better into my life! Thanks for the advice, it helped to see someone else say what I'm thinking! God Bless xx
from notthischick :
Thanks for the note, I'm actually going through a rough time right now, doubting my ability to hear God's voice, but when I read that I felt better, because I know He loves me even when I'm not perfect! That's an amazing story, made me think a lot about how I'm living. Although I've changed a lot since becoming a Christian, I'm still not a perfect example of Jesus to others, nowhere near it in fact, but I'll just have to keep praying for God to change me more and more into the person I should be! God Bless xx

He lives near me. [dramatic music] Christy, I think he found me and wasn't satisfied..because he thought I was too fond of mashed potatoes. Thanks, I need all the prayer I can get right now (if you read my entry you'll see why), but I feel I'm getting closer to Jesus everyday, and it's such an awesome feeling! I have already been recommended that book a couple of times, but me and a friend agreed to buy each other a copy for Christmas and work through it at the same time when she moves away at the start of the new year, so I'll have to wait til then. I guess until then I can just keep praying! Your Bible study sounds cool, I would join except I think it's some stupid time in the morning here in the UK :( God Bless xx

Are you kidding? I wouldn't be so offended that you compared religious faith to good hygiene, that you don't bother to give a single reason why going to church is important, or that you clearly rely on false reasoning handed to you from a "good book"...but when you add that people are illogical because they don't go to church based on that inane post without even giving thought to the slightest thread of irony...all I can say is, "JESUS CHRIST!"

Wow. That's really realy coincidental that you mention that. I was at a worship service last night that was led by Jason Upton and he had mentioned that the average age of the pastors of the underground church in China is 21. That really laid it on my heart to pray for these churches and for their freedom.

Oh, Cristy, that was the most awesome entry, about Satan gathering the demons together and isntructing them on how to keep Christian's minds and hearts way from Christ - God clearly inspired you to create that entry, and that is not mere flattery! Today, as I said, in my e-mail, I read the Bible in the morning, and I moved slowly from task to task, and witnessed as best I could for the Lord everywhere I went. I felt His presence, so close to me. But so many days (like Wednesday) I buy into the stress of overwork and the agendas of other people. You have blessed me so much with your God-given creative work. May the Lord bless you richly, forever and ever. You remain in my prayers, that your ministry may increase and abound. Love, Andy

from eggshelldanz :
This is great study, Christy, and so true. I spend a lot of time alone, it is so enriching to the relationship and to the degree that you hear from God. Don't buy into thinking you have to be at every Christian event. There are so many people lost and losing the battle because we christians spend way too much time in church. I cringe when I hear that Christians are too busy. That is not how our Father would have us to walk, in the ways of this society. This study is such a good reminder of how to better spend the time I have alone. And the reason why I do. Pray for me and I will do the same for you. Pray that God's provision will take care of my debts and that God will cover my health as I leave town this weekend for two divine appointments to meet new people for Him. Thanks and be blessed!

hey, you'll never guess what my church is gonna be starting October 11th! Purpose Driven Life! I'm so excited, ive already got my copy of the book, i cant wait to get started! I'm gonna keep a journal of it too. peas3 mike the psycho monkie
from minstrelite :
I just prayed for Mandy, for her salvation and general well-being, as you requested. Looking forward to hearing from you tomorrow when your phone line is activated again. This thing with the banners is exciting! Anyway, take care and God bless.
from starfishchik :
Hey! I saw you listed as a fav diary on minstrelite's profile so I was just breezing through. :) I love your 10 Cajun Commandments, they're well said! :D Love in Christ.
from minstrelite :
Those Cajun Commandments were hilarious - I needed a good chuckle.
from nuntobe :
You know what, I am a pure blood cajun, and although I have heard that so many times, I laughed again when I read it in your diary. Also, keep your faith strong (it seemed right since that's all I hear now a days, but it's the truth), and I will put you in my prayers. I not only know it will work out because of the man upstairs, but I also believe that you will receive more than ever for just staying strong in your relationship with HIM!!! May God Bless You. ~Jamie~
from foundchrist :
that is so awesome that you took that girl into your home. Jesus says thanks for helping Him in His time of need. (Matthew 25:34-40)
from minstrelite :
Hey Christy - I just read your entry called "Note," and I will pray for wisdom for you, as you requested. I'm glad nothing's wrong.
from guderian :
Aloha Christy, I recently joined diaryland and also the Christian and Christ4Life diaryrings and was wondering if you might perchance visitmy diary and give me any input or suggestions, I value a sister in Christ insight. Alot of it is song lyrics I wrote with a cristian message on posted on photos, I know it's rough now. God Bless You, Guderian A.k.a. & A.K.C. Marty
from dudemanflab :
hey christy, thank you very much for your note, and for putting me on your favorites list. i think you emailed me earlier in the year about ny, and i'm sorry for not writing back. i am not to good at correspondence. actually, i have the purpose driven life and was about to start reading it. my church in NM is reading it too, but here in springfield, it'll be up to me to keep up with it. My reccomendation to you is relevantmagazine.com it's one of the coolest christian organizations that i know of, so check it out. your friend, paul

from minstrelite :
Hey Christy my most cherished friend - I just read your "God is Holding Your Hand entry." I'm going to call my Mom and read that poem to her over the phone. Talk to you soon!
from meowster :
Hey, I love the entry on 9-11... Did God create evil.
from aussielvr498 :
Hi, I just read your poem about God being there. I really needed that. I mean, it's something I knew, I know God is there always for me, but Im going through a lot right now and needed to read it put in those words. Thank-you for posting that, it really makes me think about how much God loves me and how he's always there. --**--Ashley
from gnomad :
Heya sweetie! Thanks so much for the encouraging note! It was a pleasure to get word from you this morning. Hope you have a terrific day.
from minstrelite :
Thanks for talking last night. I just read your recent entry and was blessed by it. The problem I mentioned last night was resolved in a mighty way by God at 6AM this morning. I'll tell you all about it when I catch you next time on AIM. In the meantime, please pray for a diarist called "abhorgod" - he left me a really nasty note (which I deleted, because it contained profanity) and after praying about it, I noted him back in love. May the Spirit of God convict him.
from spittingame :
hi I was just wonderin who this is?
from still-frames :
i also have a question, since you seem to know your stuff... ::deep breath:: how do you feel about people losing their salvation?
from still-frames :
of course you can review me. you seems like a great reviewer, and i was only kidding about being scared of you... partially. :o but i must say, i just read your latest entry and found it ultra amusing since i, too, had a run-in with a giant cricket in my friends car yesterday. those buggers are SMART! but anyway, sure; go ahead; & thanks in advance! <3
from veronicalife :
ROFL...*almost chokes from laughter* Chrsity LOL...u r just too funny, and u didn't even mean to do the funny thing...in ur entry u put a link to ur PDL diary. and u spelled it "faithtastic" but ur PDL diary is "faith-tastic" i clicked on ur link and went to a lesbian diary. of course i knew it wasn't ur diary cuz if anything ur devoted to god(im not homopobic to anyone who reads this). ROFL. oh christy u r just too funny. it had to be a good 15 mins of laughter.
from why-i-love :
hehe, I'll pass the message on to her! And she did use one of your layouts! You have no idea how long I searched for your site! Took me two days and many hours of searching, I screamed when I finally found it. Found it by accident, which of course, is the way it always happens hehehe! I will let her know, and put her in contact with you if she chooses, if you don't mind that is. And thanks for the compliment on my layout! I didn't make it but a friend of mine did. I searched through your designs and I think they're great! They're beautiful, and it's a unique idea! Go you :)
from daydreamin9 :
Hey, I'm a Christian as well and love how you represent God in your diary. God bless you, and never let Satan bring you down! :-)
from godzgirlz :
It's always contagios to seek out other Christians to see there point of view on our Awesome Father, God in Heaven... What a feeling to get lost in God! Peace
from heyjude85 :
Holy Cow... what a day. I prayed for Tim and wife and kids and your parents and I'll continue to do so. I hope that things get even better than they are right now.
from caitlinaiken :
I'm not sure what it means...maybe this man is a future love of your life?
from vieraskieli :
Hi Christy, If you weren't such a spiritually-minded person, I might not have gotten this meaning from the dream, but it seemed obvious to me. You may feel like you know some people who are going in a sinful "dark" direction, and you want to help them. The blue sweater person would be Jesus. Though I'm skeptical that he had blonde hair, he does in most pictures we see. Plus, there is usually a glowing halo around his head. You said the blonde hair was particularly shiny. Well, of course, you would be glad that Jesus is there to help you! Of course, I have no idea what the meaning of him joking about being loud could be. That's just my idea. Have a great day!
from veronicalife :
oh now i see the picture, i thought it was florida was one of teh spikes and the rest was south america ^_^
from caitlinaiken :
Whoo hoo, I didn't know it was a picture! I thought it was a random mosaic!
from minstrelite :
Glad you updated, and are so full of joy! I also liked all the things you said about Peter. Especially: "See Peter, yeh he made mistakes but he always came back to Jesus and rocked out even better because he learned from his mistakes. Like the whole denial thing. He could have just given up, thinking Jesus could never forgive him but he learned and went on to be on of the strongest men in the Bible." Also, great that your church got its huge debt totally paid off! And only fifty people in the church. That's sensational. Anyway, I always enjoy your entries, and look for new ones at every opportunity. Grace and peace to you.
from our-views :
Your revew is up at Our Views. I'm sorry for the long wait.
from needham :
Hello, sister. I'm pretty encouraged to find that there are a few other Chrsitians in the midst of Diaryland (funny placem it is). The people in the real world need to know the message of Salvation and know how they were chosen and how much they are loved. God does awesome things, and I know He will use you and me in different ways for His will. Keep on keeping on.
from wiccareviews :
Your review's up at Wicca Reviews! Hope ya like it. =)
from minstrelite :
My last note included a fear that is somewhat silly. No way am I going to be Left Behind! Satan keeps trying to deceive me into believing I'm unsaved, just because I'm not perfect. Jesus Christ died for my imperfections, and I look forward to the rapture, with as many participants as possible! Thank you for spreading the word.
from minstrelite :
Wow! I just read your awesome entry, "The Rapture in Plain English." I'm a little bit spaced out from lack of sleep, but I gathered you were quoting a website you managed to locate. I sometimes fear that I myself, not to mention loved ones in my family, might be Left Behind. And I don't want to be! I want to meet the Lord in the air! I just pray that I can walk holy and blameless before him from this point on. I expressed some concern about my walk with Him in the first of my two entries this morning, entitled something like "Putting into Practice what We're Taught." I then went on to express hope, not only for me, but for all believers who have at one time or another become disillusioned and strayed away from the Lord. I expressed this in my second entry, "Hope for the Lost Sheep." By the way, I hope you don't mind if I mention your name in my entries and link to your site. If that is indiscreet of me, please let me know. Have a great day in the Lord!
from free2dream :
I enjoy reading your diary so much! And your layout is fantasic!! Take care and God bless!! ~Cheryl~
from elanah :
Hey, thanks for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed my diary. And yes, I am a Miswesterner- I'm from Wisconsin. I added you to my friends list on Yahoo if you still feel like discussing philosophies. Have a great day!
from windshadow :
And of course, in my total html obsessedness, I totally forgot to mention how much I enjoyed your insane entry. Heh. Sorry about that.
from windshadow :
Hey Christy. Just wanted to point out, you left out the closing tag on the link in your entry ("smaks forehead"), so now your entire entry is one big link that doesn't work. ;)
from minstrelite :
Hey again - Just read "Seven Heavenly Virtues." My biggest fear is the same as yours, that my family (those who are unsaved) won't be saved. I wasn't brought up Lutheran (Roman Catholic instead) but I spent a good many years in the Lutheran Church, as kind of a compromise. My favorite Christian virtue, however, is love. Hope to talk soon!
from minstrelite :
I confess I'd gotten out of the habit of reading your entries lately, but I just read "Fake Diamonds" and I got a lot out of it. I'll read more soon. Also, I can be at the Bible Study this Thursday. God bless.
from spoken-for :
Chrisssssssssty!! Hey! it's been way way too long. Things have changed..im in school again..i realized that my only friend now is Bethel! Hah. Just joshin'. I wish u still had that layout, although this one is just fine itself! But bethel! ahh the agony! I'm a lil' drama girl now. I am in theater..! Actually, just for school, but that's okay! Anyway I'm planning on starting up the diary again so whenever u got the layout ready just email me or something!@#
from windshadow :
I love graham crackers and milk! But you have to eat it fast before it gets too soggy. :) Henry sounds like a lot of fun. I love cats with personality.
from caitlinaiken :
Your cat sounds awesome...it's so great that Jesus healed him! I hope I can someday see that kind of healing for myself!
from swcprincess :
Wah- so sorry- I haven't looked at my notes page for ages and only just saw your message about the review site. I've never really gone for reviews before, but if the offer is still there, I'd like that :) x Em

from yaa :
Received your note from heyjudereviews. Why do you want to review me?
from caitlinaiken :
Hey, just wanted to let you know that you accidentally made two Heeey Jude entries so you might want to delete one so you don't get points off at a review site!
from iluvjessee :
Howdy! Thanks for sending me those invitations to join the bible studies, every time you have. I appreciate you doing that. :) I got a new guestbook in my diary. The link to it is at the top of the page, its different from signmyguestbook.com. I think its neat. Please sign it if ya would like. Thanks! Well, might ttyl!! God bless you!
from caitlinaiken :
Can't wait for study tonight!
from caitlinaiken :
Hi, I think I may know what you mean about that reward thing. Two days ago I took a couple hours out of my time to make my sister a CD when I could have been making my newest one. Then that afternoon, I found a dollar in the street! A dollar is a good amount, for a 14 year old who doesnt have to pay rent or anything. So God blessed me too.

Christykins I think you need a new quote for your Quotes page. And here it is! "I'm sorry, I'm afraid I subscribe to the theory of intellectual osmosis. As such I must now cease this conversation and move away before my intelegence begins to drop." ~The Gord you can fix my spelling errors!

Hey Christy - great entry today. I'll have you know I consider reading your diary part of my morning devotions. Say, there's a girl who needs help - I think she's at http://girlneedsgod.diaryland.com. I just left her a lengthy note, but she probably needs to talk to a girl.

I just read, "A Father, his Son and a Friend." That was a great story, and a good thing for me to read first thing in the morning.
from flyinby :
i love your layout! it's a beautiful picture! :)
from iamblessed :
I never fail to be amazed at how you can find Bible verses that really fit with what you're saying every day! That's all I really wanted to say. In His Grip, Courtney
from minstrelite :
I just read several of your entries, and I rejoice over the way you express the truth about Jesus. You put a number of good thoughts in my head. For example, we may not get our paychecks today at YTC, which will put the entire staff in a bad mood and make it hard to deal with everybody, but is this anything to complain about when I've been spared an eternity in hell? Also, I share your view about Christian chat rooms. They can be all right, but it is sad to see Christians bashing other Christians in front of seeking unbelievers over stupid doctrinal differences. Anyway, I am so glad to have found your journal. You have strengthened my faith.
from iworshipgod :
Thanks for the link hon, I got you on my freinds list at AIM I'm amokess31. Be blessed!

Hey Christy, I put your "Blood of the Lamb" template on my diary. I had to fix the previous and next buttons. Before, they would go to a link page on faithdesigns. It's fixed now and I think it goes wonderful with my diary. Thanks a bunch! ~Jesse

from e-vangel :
Thank you SO MUCH for the entry on waiting for a Man of God. I think if I'd have read that yesterday, I'd have lost it. Just yesterday, I got out of a short relationship, which I knew was NOT leading me in the direction of being with a Man of God. That's what I want, too! But like you said, when it is God's perfect time. Thank you, thank you, thank you, and God Bless You!
from swcprincess :
PS. No, the squirrels have not yet conquered the birdfeeder! And if my mother gets her way, the sky will turn pink before they succeed...
from swcprincess :
Okay, questions for you! 1. You often talk about religion in your entries- where did your beliefs originate, and what do they mean to you? 2. You say in your profile that you enjoy singing. Elaborate! 3. What kind of relationship do you have with your family? 4. Where do you see the world in ten years time? 5. You designed your current layout- how did you become involved in web design?
from fulfilled :
Hey! Just saw that you added me to your list, and thought I'd come over and check your diary out. I like it! I'll definitely be back to visit some more--it's always encouraging to find more people out there who love God.
from dani-lou :
Hi; thanks for visiting my site. I do hope you come back. I'll check back, your entries are full of emotion. Best wishes, Dani.

You sent me an E-card! Aren't you sweet! It was a fluke that I even saw it. I was deleting a ton of emails, and I couldn't tell from the heading if yours was junk mail or not, but I sure was pleasantly surprised when I went to retrieve my card! Thanks <3
