Drop me a line, I hate to see a fellow reader out of books and I'll see what I can do.

ow... I hurt just hearing about it! AND u'll give my bf ideas! :p lol... *hugs*

Ah, Garbage. I love that song too...it was an absolute favorite during my high school years. Like you, I'm often most inclined to write when things are bad in my life, and I sometimes worry that people's perception of me will be pessimistic because what I share in my online journal is negative more often than not. Keep in mind that this is YOUR space, and you have every right to express yourself any way that you want. Still, I'm thrilled that things are getting better for you. *Hugs*

Hiya, I just wanted to wish you and your family a Merry Xmas. I hope you have a lovely day! From Jo XXX

Thanks for the update on the whole... club.. situation. :) If I should ever decide Hereford to be a prime vacation destination, I know where I will be spending Wednesday night.

Hi..um this is Valerie, from ethereal-reviews. I was just wondering if you would still like that review (I'm sorry it's been such a long wait!) or if you'd like to be taken off the list. If you can drop me a note or sign my guestbook back, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
from vividdreamer :
Hey there...it's been a LONG time since I've heard from you (and since you've heard from me), but I was thrilled to see a new entry up today. I've been missing you, hoping that all was well, and wishing that you'd come back soon. I can relate all too well about the horses...my entire life was focused around them, and then college happened, and I lost touch with the one thing that kept me most grounded in my life. I miss them so much, and even though I technically HAVE a horse, I never get to ride. It's part busy-ness, but also laziness and the fact that I don't have anyone close to me who wants to share the experience. If only an ocean didn't seperate the two of us... ;-) *Hugs*
from fuzzycircles :
honey, u dont suck... (hm, maybe ur bf might have a different opinion, but lets not go there ;) ). hey, dont worry bout my bday. and yes, I will do my utmost best to catch up with u in person over xmas... miss hanging out with you
from fuzzycircles :

from candoor :
I need to throw a pity party for a few days and never seem to have the time so the stuff that's supposed to come out and get resolved during the pity party just lingers and festers and creates a slippery fungus that makes for some amusing slapstick and comic tragedy that nobody sees but me (to everyone else I appear the lonely clutz pathetically wandering aimlessly on a road to nowhere, or something like that)... so why am I laughing? (insanity is my savior :)
from candoor :
and wishing you well, just because you deserve it :)
from zor :
Thanks.
from xylem :
Belated happy birthday to you too! Hope it was a good one.
from parlance :
Yeah. Once things get repetitive, anything else seems worthwhile :)

This is a test. (beep) This is a test of the Emergency Valentine's Day System. (EVS) This test is to see if leaving notes around DLand will make this a wonderful day in spite of not particularly being with anyone romantically at the moment. (ummm) May the results be that all this love in my heart found some productive use. (smile) And maybe a giggle or few (Happy V-Day from funda and candoor too :)

hun, dont take it personally. I just... something about the way she was saying what she said really hurt me. I cant really explain that to you. I know it's her&his life, that none of us knew what that was. And I totally accept she's got a valid point of view. Urgh, anyhows, as for details....?! hehe! come bombard me with choccies!!!! I dont wanna say much cos I dont really know much of whats gonna happen. more hugs I hope ;) looking forward to seeing you soon!

from taliana1 :
certainly :) You know..what you are feeling is pretty normal after going through what you've gone through lately. You aren't "crazy."
from taliana1 :
first, *hugs* Chica, I know finances are tight right now, but you really should think about talking to someone about what you are going through.

u dont hav2b cryin4a long time2get a runny nose.half the reason i got cold/flu hybrid was cos id spent 10mins cryin.and it got worse cos id had a shower&got shampoo in my face.think its to do with your eyes, nose and throat being connected. noses are sensitive things and are there to protect unesessary fluids goin down2ur lungs... perhaps... I'm NOT a biologist.*hugs*. PS. do you need a map of where I live?
from raven72d :
I'd call them...perceptive.
from raven72d :
I like exploring new cultures, new languages, new literatures... But multiculturalists, at least in their US incarnation, accept every culture as good except English-speaking Western ones, which they blame for Everything Bad. They refuse to recognize the Menace of the Manx...or that the Andaman Islanders are non-human minions of Cthulhu.
from raven72d :
Libertarians are self-righteous, morally earnest, and favor a world without social programs. Laissez-faire has no room for people like me. Multiculturalists are those dull, PC people who refuse to rank-order cultures and who insist that any culture is good, so long as it isn't Western and secular. Noam Chomsky is a political idiot, a man who defends appalling regimes and despises any effort by the West to defend itself.

Just read your entry and wanted to say 'Hi'. I had to make a similar decision a few years ago. It's a tough one. Good luck. My thoughts are with you. Nex

*hug* for you (and me too)... remembering Winter (K's Choice) is a smile (with chills)... the cattle prod was Annie sending a CD in an attempt to wake me up, Evanescence... it almost worked (it's on repeat in the CD player and creeping into my psyche through what feels like a spinal tap... that's a good thing, I think)... sometimes we just need alone time to sort out... sometimes we use alone time to avoid sorting... sometimes when we say we want alone time, body language and actions are asking for attention... if I knew where I was at the moment I'd tell you... instead, I await the change that inevitibly comes when I sit around long enough (maybe a good run if I can motivate my lazy butt up for an hour before work?)... still, you bring me a fine smile just by being there... for whatever sense this note makes, may it smile for you too :)

The soft ticking of the clock, the endless waiting, the moments that await us all, togetherness, hopefully I enter the hallway, walk the walk of hope, to once be in the arms of the one I love. this is also a liddle poke btw ^^
from candora :
Following your links, I started thinking I obviously need to be more awake to read that.
from girlwcurls :
hey :-) just wanted to let you know that i was here, and enjoyed the stay. love the layout!
from xylem :
Eeek, the thing with periods and Reading toilets doesn't bear thinking about! I'm not often grateful for being male but sometimes at Reading I am so glad that I am a man and can therefore pee *everywhere*, thus saving me going into the nasty toilets. Anyway - hope it times itself okay :)
from l-a-i :
ouch! that hurts
from candora :
most may be quiet about it, but you are very worth reading... and I hope you don't stress too much over getting some help from your parents while you are in school, you are still doing great (and hoping for good news for ya).
from antsy-lai :
wow. i love your diary!
from candora :
it is good to see you back, and with good news, no less... I should be sleeping (of course) as I have this long date with this computer tomorrow, but half the fun of excitement is in how it keeps me awake... meanwhile, I cheer your return and reasons for smiles :)
from some-trouble :
Thanks for the message about 'mystery person' and his/her e-mail to me. Don't worry about the sarcasm, I'm quite sarcastic at times - especially when something like that comes through my inbox - lol. I'm glad you had a nice break, and that things are going well with your boyfriend. I'll let you go now and do more important things *aherm* :o) ~ Jo XXX
from elvinarcher :
I just wanted to tell you I think your diary is great. ^_^
from raven72d :
"et voila---" hmmmm... I wonder if people abbreviate "Bob's yer uncle" as BYU in memos and notes...
from candora :
ah, the world of the impoverished artist... it was easier to give stuff, like the wok I'd like to send you, when I had money to burn, but overall I am happier doing what I love to do, even if it means thinking about budgeting... and you are beautiful... and yes, words take music to another level... and no art is better or worse than another, blessed are those who can appreciate it all...
from xoxo-revu :
Your review is up (finally). Apologies that it took so long. I'm just lazy I guess, hehe. ~Sam
from first-sight :
omg, is this an honor or what? I mean, gnomad and you have been reading my review's page! Lol! This is nutty, get some lives! lol. I dunno if im' amusing but I can tell you I am an idiot most of the time I review diarys, so that is why I go all crazy over your diary because, I mean.. your diary rocks.
from jenoline :
dunno how you found me, but you did, and you like Labyrinth, so I am immediately attached to you. Question though, what's a reverse situation of that in Taming the Shrew? I never read it, so I've no idea! ta! Jen # xx
from moreneta :
Wowowowow. I started (almost) and the beginning, and went to the end. And then, at your very newest entry, everything fell into place. I feel that way a lot, and it makes me happy that you can articulate it. Thank you.
from hot-crumpets :
That's really beautiful :)

I think the Unwritten Stories project sounds like a fantastic idea. I can imagine many people being interested in participating - *and* in reading it :)
from candora :
ah, dear one, I feel I have neglected you for your layout changed and I do not recall the last time I visited... but know that our presense in the world is very much appreciated even when I am too wrapped up in my own mind to say so... I think I would enjoy your project, though I an not be sure to find time on schedule and I am quite allergic to deadlines... flattered, I am, participate, I will, hugs too.
from hot-crumpets :
I will send you some anti-Plato vibes, if they will help! :)
from scifimagpie :
My thoughts can be so fleeting, self-censoring seems the way to go, sometimes; an hour later I might feel wholly different, and not know why. What a disorganized place my brain's become...Oh well. In any case, it's always a pleasure to read your diary. Hope you're well =) ~Mere
from our-views :
Thanks for requesting a review from Our Views. Please can you add a link back to us before we review you though as I couldn't find one anywhere. (I apologise if there is one somewhere and I'm too blind too see it, you have so many links!)
from scifimagpie :
No, my pink layout is very "not me"; you couldn't be more correct! So, I'm temporarily incognito...
from scifimagpie :
I think your latest layout is splendid! Oh, and not too bright for my tastes; it's lovely!
from inartiqulate :
Hey, I'm sorry it has taken me this long to leave you a note thanking you for leaving me one. I just wanted to let you know, because well, I thought it was pretty interesting and maybe you won't, but you know your layout? I have been to your site before (through a banner I think) and it had totally inspired me to make my layout (not the one that I currently have, but the one pervious to the one up right now). Well just thought I'd let you know. I like your style.

Way to go with all that creativity today! I'll have to see what your new art is based on, and I hope you'll post your finished piece to your diary, when it's ready! Congrats on all the expression!
from scifimagpie :
Happy Easter =)

thankfulme deserved applause, so here's some belatedly... others deserve applause too, but your thankfulness got me to hiccup... it's great that it also brought forth a warm fuzzy laugh, but a hiccup, now that's high praise.
from scifimagpie :
Your 03.04.03 entry was my favorite yet. There truly are buckets of phenomenal things to be amazed by, and thankful for. Be well.

Hello. I clicked on your banner so I thought I should say hi. Now, I don't even remember what banner I was clicking on. I got distracted by reading your diary.
from raven72d :
Of course you get attached to fuckbuddies-- one gets attached to friends, after all. But you're just not "in love".
from raven72d :
Thank'ee, lovely one.

Your entry about yoru father and mother nearly made me cry. Watching your father stay in a loveless marriage is the most painful thing ever. I've been watching it for years. All the best to you. -Laura

You'll like Stewart... One thing I do have is a vast collection of books strewn through my rooms... I'm a compulsive reader... (feel free to e-mail me sometime)
from raven72d :
I liked "The Stand" until the supernatural intruded... George Stewart's "Earth Abides" tells the same kind of plague story better... and in haunting language.
from raven72d :
It's odd-- since I remember the 1991 war. That January, there was little protest... and indeed, the day before the 1991 war began, the big news story was from Lithuania-- independence protestors facing down Soviet police. I'm probably of the "necessary evil" school of thought about what's going to happen this week... But it does all seem to feel like the sense of fatalism that came over Vienna in July 1914... My only hope is that the war itself is quick and thorough, and that the rebuilding of Iraq ( a rich and modern country before the war with Iran and the 1991 war) produces some kind of federal system that can replace the dictatorships there since 1958 with something that allows for human dignity.
from raven72d :
It's an odd day. I'm sitting at work reading files, reading Japanese novels at home...and keeping an eye on CNN every few minutes...waiting for the announcement of the war beginning. My doctorate is in Habsburg Monarchy history, and I wonder what late July 1914 felt like... if it felt like this to be in Vienna then...
from raven72d :
Wheel of Foucault is vur' complicated...though it seems simple enough. Foucault's head spins, and contestants have to deconstruct the passages/images on which it stops...while wearing zippered leather hoods. And then there's the Minotaur lurking... E-mail me and I'll tell you more-- including stories of the all-Lacan version of "Dallas" (with Lacan as Big Jacques)...
from tornlace :
you have a beautiful banner- really wonderful art and colors :)
from raven72d :
I'll have to tell you about Wheel of Foucault, my deconstructive game show... (The spinning wheel is a giant image of the shaven head of Michel Foucault...)

Uh, there's nothing 'so-called' about the terrorists in Northern Ireland. They are terrorists who bomb and maim the innocent because they do not have the numbers to control the democratic process and they wouldn't hesitate to murder the soldiers currenly serving in Afghanistan. thanks for the note- yeah that's pretty much what I was thinking- snippets. Like the example I used, it's like writing an essay- you can't use all quotes, but it's good to use them to back up your thoughts.
