Speaking of rings, my manager and I were talking about engagement rings at work the other day, and we came to the conclusion that southern girls want BIG sparkling rings while big city/northern people want smaller rings because they don't want to be mugged for them. They'd rather have fancy cars and houses and a less fancy ring. I think I agree. Southern girls seem to think "the bigger the better" and I pretty much agree with that!

That's not what I use but that's an upgrade of what I have! Lucky! Hopefully someone will get me either that or the newest Photoshop for Christmas though! To make part of the picture black and white, I use Paintshop Pro 7. I don't know any other way to do it.. I know it can be done on Photoshop too but I don't know how..

Still alive. Got a job, which I start next week. No more depressing sitting around doing nothing all day for me anymore :) Zane is looking well. Loved the bunnies, are there actually bunnies which aren't cute? I wonder about that ;)

Hey! Where I live is about 2 hours south of St. Louis. Van Buren is about 2 and a half hours southeast of Jackson (where I live). Anyway, Zane is looking cute as always.. and have fun in St.Louis (I know, it's not all that fun of a place!!)

We went to Cozumel on our cruise. It was supposed to go to Costa Maya too but there was a (little) hurricane coming so they didn't let us go there and just gave everyone some money back and cut a day off our trip. So that sucked, but it was still a lot of fun!!

Oh, it's totally by choice. The tickets that I'm trying to cancel are for my Brazil trip. I go this weekend to do my showdown (oh joy! not) and make sure that I have everything. I'm in the National Guard. The major push right now is my reclassification school.

WOW! That actually sounds really interesting. But yes, I can see where travelling all the time is tiring. Dave travels sometimes, but I like to be at home. That's got to be extra tough with Zane being so small, too. But he sounds like just a sweet kiddo, so you're blessed in that department for certain. :) We had catastrophe adjusters here in the Red River Valley (Grand Forks ND, Fargo ND and my part of MN) during the "Flood of 97" where most of GF was evacuated and 75% of the city was under water. However nobody up here seemed to be whining for debit cards or hand outs. Hmmmm... That's got to be emotionally tough though, seeing all those people that have lost homes/belongings.

I live 2 hours south of st.louis and I also hate it there! It's too big. Except for the occassional shopping, Six Flags or other little road trip, I like to avoid it! And city people scare me! Haha. But the arch is pretty neat if you go up in it and the Magic House is fun for kids, but I doubt Zane is old enough to appreciate it yet! (Oh, and the weather here.. crazy.. 30 degrees one day and 80 the next!)
