Hi, thanks for the add! :-)
from cccerberus :
My last 2 comments do not get posted on yr site....Wondering why. Thanks.
from greenwitch :
It seems it is the season of the dilemma. I think neither of us has a choice really in how to proceed too... You need a safe home and I need a productive job so we perservere.

i don't have your password! can you email it to me?
from greenwitch :
I can so sympathize with your inspector problem. My numbskull neighbor, who I have spoke only a handful of times with in a decade (mostly to make sure he wasn't unhappy with my goats) filed a complaint with the town which still has an antiquated entry in the zoning law that states "the keeping of goats and other furbearing animals is prohibited" The zoning is illegal but has gone unchallenged..... do I need this shit? Do you need rabid building inspectors? Bah, get me off this planet!

Hi, ccc -- Congratulations to your cousin in law! I'm not familiar with the church of universal life or its parameters, but the way we were taught to "format" a ceremony is to create a questionnaire for the client (or couple) designed to tease out info about their beliefs, preferences, heritage, faith, culture, personal symbols, etc. This is not only really helpful in deciding what elements to incorporate, but you can also quote them directly when you write your transcript. This makes it really personal to them. Useful links for info about Jewish weddings: http://judaism.about.com/od/weddings/Jewish_Weddings.htm Obviously googling "jewish wedding" will bring up a lot too. You don't say how devout her fiance's family is, but you'll make the call as to how strictly you'll adhere to any Jewish traditions. Good luck!
from bornearly :
Hi, CCC -- type Carpe, then Diem. I don't mind any d'landers having the passwords -- spread 'em around! And feel free to send me yours; I'd love to read. Thanks -- Bornearly
from greenwitch :
Is that what is wrong with LJ? I tried to get in several times yesterday. Now that I am thinking of moving to a new place it was rather discouraging.... I am inclined to wordpress anyway.....
from greenwitch :
I would have loved to be a fly on the wall when you told your mom. What a hoot. Now let's hope she doesn't get all traditional this far after the fact. I will send you a link to the wordpress site when I am over there next. D'land is terminally fucked up and I am just waiting for my gold to run out.
from greenwitch :
I had to experiment but it seems to work if you go into the latest private entry and then click previous it keeps you in the private folder and lets you see what came before..... I hope things slow down it bit there...Breathe.
from greenwitch :
Alas my father had two new issues come along and nothing actually got done...... story of my life lately. Seems the Wizard was otherwise engaged too. Anyway, the ideas have been taken and will be acted upon although the price will be quite a bit higher.

Need username and password, please!

I appreciate your reading my diary and adding me as a fave! I'd love to read your stuff. Please send your password to [email protected]!
from geoffchaucer :
Thanks so much for reading and leaving a comment! Your diary is locked :( Can I get a password, if you give them out?
from hissandtell :
Hi - thanks so much for reading me and adding me to your buddies' list. I see you're locked - if you're inclined to share the password, please drop me a note or email me at [email protected] - love, R xxx

Thanks for adding my diary to your Diaryland favorites.

Speaking of Dar Williams, check out bornearly at diaryland. She's a pal of Dar's, and even beyond that is interesting as a professional musician dealing with the usual hoohahs.

Hey, thanks. I try. It's good to know that I'm not boring everyone into screaming fits, at least.

I finally wrote today -- after being sidetracked by an hour long IM session from Sister K. Ahhh... the drama continues.
from greenwitch :
Oh, strange that zeb's dog was frodo, says something for what was being read, eh. Received both the CD and the goodies for A. She pulled apart the pom poms tonight to make fairies tied with fronds of the peacock feathers. She is totally smitten with the wonder of the contents of that box. Thank you!
from greenwitch :
I can't see the pics so maybe it is the HTML gremlins. They are so damned picky. Check your code first. (speaking of code the guestbook gets fixed now that the party is over :-D ) As for A's b'day, she really wants to take pictures, draw, and sing/make music. She received a cool book that is pop up pages that are game boards of games based on greek myths. She really, really like that. Just ideas and you spent an afternoon with the little energyball.... Happy b'day to B, I forgot he is a Leo like us folks over here.
from built-in :
i can see your pictures, and i am enjoying them!
from greenwitch :
Idea-lism is a good thing but all good things come with a few barnacles. Sounds like you reconnected with some good energy...Ummmm. Haven't forgotten about the guestbook, I am getting there soon, oh so soon. Just give me a moment to come down from the heat......
from greenwitch :
Total understanding on the complexity of it all. A good political friend saw 9/11 and was laughing and crying. Will work on the guestbook as soon as the heat hangover passes. Peace (peas?)
from evieaeeh :
Great photo of the Hudson River from the Old Mountain House site. Wow!
from greenwitch :
Yeah that is the place. It has been many years now so I imagine the prices are more NY than they ever were. The salads were always worth it though. Send the guestbook stuff and your d'land info via email so we can get you book back up. :-D
from greenwitch :
Hey, we didn't even get to talk about fixing your guestbook. Sorry about the busyness of business. Did you walk to the healthfood store that makes the most excellent salad that I used to live on when I would visit my parents house when they lived down that way? I hope they still offer great whole foods. Peace
from greenwitch :
Oh, come on now. The whole trip won't be a waste. A day of selling organic goat cheese to the masses ain't all that bad :-P

i think the baby-as-webcam movie would be brilliant. remember when i babysat for a family a few years ago and they had two webcams trained on me at all times? what a relaxing atmosphere that was. thanks for the invite, and the reverse is true, as well, if you find yourself up in portland. i have a feeling we will meet one day.
from greenwitch :
Thanks for the note. I just checked my entry and it seems to be there now. Maybe D'land had a snafoo (sp?). See ya soon!
from greenwitch :
Blue your world, its bluedom. Love the bath, I want one!! Sunday in NP is fine I am there to set up at 9am and the market closes at 3pm then I have to take the stand down and pack it back into the van. There may not be much time for other things unless you want to come back to the house with us. If it is a hot day any left overs need to get to the fridge. Sounds like you have sound plans to a void mental anguish on your visit. Say hi to your good sister for me.
from snarkymarky :
that tub beckons me - it looks well worth the wait!
from livesand :
I've been going to your diary and the system goes through the motions of loading your pages, but nothing shows up... just a blank white page. Am I the only one? Curious minds want to know!
from greenwitch :
Yee-ha, your diary is back!!
from greenwitch :
Hope you are feeling better soon! What a trip to see the photo of young you and Thumper. Remember the tunnel walks? Magrit has a border collie who remindes me, when she was younger, of Thumper.
from monstre :
you inspire me, with your ayurvedic poetry. Teach me? Where do I begin? I can sit in downward dog for ten minutes, whilst listening to my blood hum, but I don't even know how to pronounce the syllables of bhasma.
from greenwitch :
Sorry to hear about Truman ending his earth hop. His spirit resides with the ancestors. Has Zeb tried Rhus Tox for the ankle?
from greenwitch :
Just a bit of etiquette, Crohn's disease is a disorder that inflames the colon in a chronic and debilitating way. Crones have infinite wisdom giving us something to look forward to. Blessed be! (have I been getting a bit preachy lately or what?)
from greenwitch :
p.s. the obvious address for your guestbook works so it can be fixed. Logic is sometimes our friend. Let me know if I can help. I can email you the address rather than post it here if you like or whatever you want to do.
from greenwitch :
Hi, sorry the html monster got all finicky on you. Let me know if you want "tune up". I am not sure if we can get your old guestbook back without the addy ( I can make assumptions about the web address but....) but we could at least get a new one if you wanted. Your photoshop classes have me drooling. Oh, to persue higher education again.
from ruthiebat :
Thanks for the Feng Shui advice. I guess I'll have to redo the drain grates in copper, no?!
from monstre :
Hey! I just noticed your profile thingermarger -- jog my memory! I couldn't find anything (to your subtle credit) that might hint as to where we may have met...
from atomicbuddha :
Hi! Thanks so much for adding me to your favorites...deeply honored. I will be checking your journal out since I read your latest entry and am entirely intrigued. We sound like we would get along just fiiiine. Blessings!
from ruthiebat :
Likewise, it was lovely to reaquaint...the zine idea is really great, and I would love to do some pages...but, sadly, I think I'm not the most dependable person these days. Maybe if you do a second issue?
from davidw678 :
hi i just wanted to say that you have a nice site here
from alchemyjmb :
Hi there, I noticed that you mentioned that you have a Tibetan Prayer Ring with a mantra on it. I just found out last night that I wear such a ring (an ex gave it to me.) Do you have a picture of it and do you know what the enscription says? You can e-mail me at [email protected]
