I can appreciate that airlines are going through tough times with fuel prices, etc, but even though I grew up as an "airline family" (both parents worked for American Airlines), I simply hate to travel by plane anymore. It's just a bad experience, start to finish, and I haven't even had to endure the latest added costs. I'll either drive or take a train. :)
from reenyp73 :
gorgeous!
from reenyp73 :
aww, thanks so much! I love getting random little notes like that. And by the way, LOVE your layout. Very serene.
from swimmmer72 :
Yep, right click/copy; left click/paste. Simple as that. You can also use d-land's image storage, but I filled up mine a long time ago, and PhotoBucket does a better job. Hope that helps! :)
from swimmmer72 :
I use Photobucket for my photo storage and there are links there that allow me to paste the html onto my entries. The complete process is digital camera > computer (KodakEasyShare) > kodak pictures > Photobucket. I could probably eliminate a step or two, but it helps to streamline things since I have so many pictures. Hope that answers your question! :)

How many vegetables had to die to make your stupid salad? I saw that on a shirt at Kohls lol...
from alwayslolita :
or perhaps would you like some burnt cds? or something. i'm leaving hawaii on dec 4th so let me know before then. also any package that comes to me has to come to me before then or has to be sent to my louisiana address. so let me know. thanks SO much!!! *smooches* oh i know i'll just give you this email address: [email protected]
from alwayslolita :
hey i didn't get the email. did you remove the 'remove this first' part? i just added it to try to quash the spam. i can't find your email address on your page. i guess you didn't add it. hmm i don't want to leave my home address on notes. and i don't really want to post my non-diaryland address. let me think. do you have email forwarding thru diaryland. like can i email to [email protected] and then it bounces to your regular email acct? let me know. thanks so much. how much do i owe you?
from alwayslolita :
i really despise the electoral college system. it's so archaic and unnecessary. i want it abolished. if we didn't have the electoral college then gore would have won in 2000. and we wouldn't be in the mess we're currently in. man bush makes me so angry i could spit.
from alwayslolita :
what?! people did not recognize that you were an 80's chick? terrible. what is wrong with people these days? sounds like an awesome costume. too bad you didn't get any pictures of yourself (or did you? i'd love to see). sounds great!
from alwayslolita :
what!? so that dude thinks jews are ugly or something or unattractive. what a pig. sometimes people just don't think when they talk and all their "hidden' intolerance is shown. and speak out against homosexuality. that makes me angry too. so does the stuff about witchcraft. gay people and wiccans are fine by me in my book. ugh. stupid narrow minded people.
from alwayslolita :
oh my gosh. could you do that? i wear and XL and i would gladly pay shipping costs. i wrote those bastards at kucinich's site and they still have not responded to me. i'm planning to write again today. it galls me that they have no problem charging my credit card but refuse to pony up the goods. urgh!
from alwayslolita :
holy guacamole. it seems like a million years ago that the divorce was supposed to be set into motion. man that's crazy that it's taken this long. also i still really like kucinich, which is why i want my damn tshirt. it's been almost twenty days. well not twenty working days. so hopefully it will come this coming week or next week. i hate to think that they see nothing wrong with falsely obtaining money from his supporters.
from lisse :
no, i didn't get the password! i didn't check my diaryland e-mail address for five months... it's back up again, so drop me the secret code!
from virlomi :
chasha!! why did you lock your diary??!! i really enjoyed reading it. please considering unlocking it . . .
from alwayslolita :
hey i love you!! yes i do!
from pinkpunkster :
I joined your diaryring - The Pro-Israel one I mean awhile ago, but since I am a procrastinator I am only leaving a message now. Anywhos, I wanted to thank you for this ring! It's so good to see that other's support the Jewish homeland as much as I do. Israel is a beautiful and spiritual country and it is so sad that there is so much conflict arising in it and over it... But on a happy note, yay for you liking Debbie Friedman! I love her "Miriam's Song"!
from near-sighted :
i've just jumped into the freedom ring now (though previously not as officially attached as you) and i feel like heaving a great. big. sigh. go girl.
from lilclownie :

from milkmaid :
Hey! Glad you're updating again. I missed your wacky hijinx! It's nice to be single and free to roam the country, exploring all the beautiful men, er - sights... LOL!
from queenzixi :
Greetings... It's about time I found the Israel webring... we must chat. Thanks for the ring... Talk to you soon.

Just so you know, i don't think it would be tasteless to name the fish Ariel and Yasser. And then you could put their tanks by each others and watch them posture and attempt to intimidate each other... it would be way more interesting than watching the news. But then again, that's my kind of humor. L'Chaim!
from autumnal :
found you through the banner. thought i'd say hello.
from idle-words :
SHALOM CHASHA! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave me a note of encouragement. I loved what you wrote about the AYEN. Shavua Tov.
from alwayslolita :
I totally adore MAC and their chic employees in their black chic clothes and the men with the perfectly arched brows and i love the containers and the smell of the product. I think that Drag Queens love mac because the makeup is very theatrical. MAC is known for having a high pigment content in their makeup. a little dab'll do ya, and a lotta dab will be flamboyant and "look at me i'm here and i'm fabulous and electric eel blue is my color beotch so you betta step off." okay i had to share that.
from shosh :
Shalom Chasha, I just read your entry on the situation in Israel. Me too, it hurts me more than I can say. I hope we will fin a solution soon! All the best from a sunny Amsterdam, Shoshannah
from myroom :
holy shit that was long. i should have e-mailed you. i think diaryland makes it look longer though. why it wraps each line after only 6 words or so, i don't know. if you want to mail me, you can do so at my ID @ diaryland.com. take care.
from myroom :
Hi there. I stumbled in from a link off another link off another link (you know how the story goes, Diaryland is never-ending). I know you didn't ask for my comments on your entry on this war on Terrorism, but I figured I'd take the time to reply. I agree with you on many points. I'm saddened and frankly scared, of course, what happened on Sept. 11th. All those lives. But people shouldn't only be concerned with things that pertain to things that happen to your passport country. How many Americans are pouring in their help to victims of the earthquack in Afghanistan, that killed probably around the same number of people on Sept. 11th? Anyway. Basically, I agree with you. A human life, is a human life.

On the Israeli/Palestinian conflict... I feel saddened by totalally innocent people that have been killed on either side. Bystandars, taht were just going about daily activities and had politics take their lives. Surely you must realize, that Palestinian suicide bombers are not the only ones at guilt. Over 3 times as many Palestinian civilians have been killed in the past 18 months, than Israeli's. Nearly 40 Palestinian innocent civilians in one day alone, about two weeks ago. Israeli's and Palestinians both are living in daily terror. Israeli's with random suicide bombings, Palestinians with destructions of their homes, land, belongings, road closures, no access to hospitals because of such. No electricity, no running water, and being branded as a terrorist because of a handful (percentage-wise) of extremists. They have no rights, their homes and towns and refugee camps are being bombarded by soldiers willing to shoot at anything that moves. They are being run out of their homes and towns where their families have been for centuries, simply because they don't have the right religion or background. It is not a one-sided issue. I guess I do have a different opinion on the way the media is portraying this whole process. Personally, I don't see it as Palestinian-biased, but rather, equaling it out a little bit, compared to a very Pro-Israel stance that we've long seen in American media, with a lot of things being left out to the American public. Arafat is no saint, I concur. I would have to say, I would take him any day over Sharon. Anyway. I don't really know what point I'm trying to make, because I'm sure you can agree that this whole issue seems to get more exhausting and frustrating every day. Take care...

woo! thanks for joining the youth in revolt ring!

Hi, I used to live in Novato....yay for that.
from rookittykat :
We sang that (Mi Sheberach - Debbie Friedman version) at the end of nightschool. We ended half an hour early and all the classes came together in the temple and had a memorial service. It's so sad that all of this is happening.

Hi Chasha! You were gone so long I thought you gave up on diaryland! I'm so glad you've been back.
from quarters :
a question: on this most recent entry, um, who are mad dog and tina, and what the hell are you talking about?
from quarters :
amy, for god sakes, just call him! i told you that. i'm sure he'd like to hear from you. if you'd rather call him at work, i've got the number if you want it. have fun skiing, call me when you get home. love you.
from alwayslolita :
am i the only person who knows about this analyzer or what? anyways onto my point. i think you should write him a letter. your stepfather that is. not that my opinion counts, but at least it lets you sit down and think out every word carefully (make a mistake just scratch it out), and it lets the other person peruse it as many times as they wish. Just my thoughts. good luck with it.
from alwayslolita :
Chasha! It's been so long. I'm glad to see things are going well for you in your lovely pink room, your lovely rocking chair, and your lovely thoughts of lovely children.
from quarters :
it's good to have nice chairs...

from alwayslolita :
Wow, I dunno, but something tells me that you're incredibly fabulous. Good luck with the html thing. It's not as hard as it looks, you don't have to memorize codes. Just find what you like and work with it.
from quarters :
honey, i just read what you wrote in my analyzer, and, um, what the hell are you talking about? i went back through some previous entries, and couldn't find any references. again, what the hell are you talking about?
from luminosity :
hey, thank you so much for your kind words in my guestbook. believe it or not encouragement from strangers actually helps. :) i thought your lifemap thing was really cool. i think i'm going to try it.
from alwayslolita :
hmm. I like that life map thing. I think i'll do it when i have some time. so all you need is a masters to work as a school therapist? I've been thinking really hard about that. Do you feel like you're making a difference? Just curious, exploring my options, as the clock tick tocks to graduation.
from quarters :
UPDATE, YA BITCH!!! brotherly love...
from quarters :
well, i guess, but i was more angling toward keeping the mouth. really now, how many guys do you know who vomit through their eyes?
from alwayslolita :
I'm curious, how did you find me? I am now officially addicted to your diary. I read all your olders. If you don't keep up with it I'll be terribly sad. The deck that is being used as my buttons is the Mythical Tarot. My mom got it for me a couple of years ago, and my roommate forces me to do readings for her every few weeks. I'm not very good at it. I keep having to refer back to the book and then I take that interpretation and smush it into what my vibe tells me to smush it into. But enough about me. Come visit me often...
from quarters :
hmm. interesting. yeah, anyway, it's my lunch, buti thought i'd just drop by and say hi. cheerio, my deario...
