Hello my dear. Isn't it so very sad that so many of us are ashamed of our bodies...how we covet what we don't have? As for someone "making" a goddess shaped more like you, try creating your own. I think that's kind of what I've been doing with my mirror magics. I meditate for awhile in front of a mirror, and then once I'm fully entraced and the room is filled the glow of my candles and the smokey incense, I really SEE. I look into my own eyes and can see someone wiser and Divine looking back at me. It's definately worth trying. My "warpaint" and special jewelry also help me slip into that thou art goddess mentality. Any thoughts?

Hmmmm...your entry, with its allusions to your sensuality and connection with the sea really has me thinking about Dion Fortune's book "The Sea Priestess"... I think that you'd really enjoy that book as well as its sequel "Moon Magic". Simply amazing books and quite witchy! Also thank you so much for the music suggestion! Hello my dreamy friend... your last note has me wondering, have you ever heard the original Aria song by the Mediaeval baebes that inspired the delerium remix? It is truly divine. The Mediaeval baebes are quite hard to explain...picture a group of drunken bratty angels, singing in old english or foreign tongues, tales of beauty and mischief. That's not right either...I dunno. Hearing is beleiving I suppose. They are just lots of fun!

it was originally a recipe to make your own runes but works for everything else as well. They dont look as good as the expensive stuff but to me they are worth more cause you put your energy into them and that makes them more powerful. I believe that if you cant make it yourself or get it from the earth then you dont really need it when it comes to the craft.

Ingredients: 4 cups of all-purpose flour 1 cup of salt 1 1/2 cups of warm water food coloring of your choice a cuticle stick Preheat oven to 300 degrees Mix flour and salt together. Add the water and mix well. Separate the dough so that you can color it. Color the separated dough with coloring, mix the coloring well for a uniform color, or not for a marbled look. Roll the dough out to the desired thickness (1/2 - 1 inch). Cut the dough with something that will give you the shape you want (knife/shot glass). With the cuticle stick, carve the runic symbols into your shaped runes. Bake at 300 degrees for about an hour. Thats what I used to make all my things with

Im broke too so dont feel bad. I didnt make the actual besom. My gma had this small little broom and I asked if I could have it. I brought it home, used a hot glue gun and glued on the pink rose and that i had this pretty burgandy ribbon I decorated the end with and glued on pine cones. And for all the other little things I used homemade clay. Its just made out of salt, flour and water and food coloring. And I painted most of them when they were done./
