What a sweet post. Thanking me for simply stating the obvious to our dear friend "Normal Toilet." Yes, she is definilty all that and more. You are truly lucky to have her as one of your very best friends of all time, and she you, no doubt. Also, it's nice to get a post from someone in the church. I've been reading some of your entries, and wish you the best of luck regarding the changes that are going on in your life. Yes, Slane was awesome. It was a long-time dream of mine to see them in Ireland and I still can't believe I got to do it. I dont usually get to do things like that. I just signed up for membership on U2.com which supposedly garantees two tickets for the new tour. yay!

hey...ok so emo is emotional rock....bands like death cab for cutie and modest mouse...its just a type of music that talks about how everyday situations effect people in adverse ways and usally the bands have funny names like the ones above.. ANd I like slc punk so much because I was a punk all through high school and that movie is really what my life was like and what I believed when I was into the whole punk rock thing... Ahh 'goodnight dear void'. It comes from my favorite movie, You've Got Mail. It's part of an email Kathleen is sending to Joe. The full quote goes, "Sometimes I wonder about my life. That guy's viewpoint really baffles me, too. I hear that a lot though - people seem to have this rigid and I'd call it self-centered viewpoint that children are almost secondary in the family rank, and that they are a nuisance almost..? I don't get how people can supposedly want a child so much, then proclaim "But I won't let parenthood change my life - I'm still going to do this that and the other!". I think it's a generational thing, personally.

I must say, first and foremost that I love your diary. It's so refreshing to see a mother who is so dedicated to her children and delighted in life's little surprises found just about everywhere when children are involved... if one just knows where to look. Now, the Renoir painting is of little Marguerite-Th�r�se (Margot) Berard. As far as I can tell, that is its only title. I recently had the pleasure of seeing it up close at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Much prettier in living color.
