I went through a period where I was covered with weird and unexplained bruising. It wasn't until I had a spot of insomnia that I realised that there was a quite rational explanation. All of the bruises were in easy reach of my husbands bony knees, heels and ankles in bed. He was doing kung fu in his sleep and I was the one getting the bruises. Your explanation might be just as simple.

I think it's so so important to have friends. For all of the reasons you listed. My Scrabble/Rummy buddy moved 45 minutes away and it has sucked ass. We would get together every Tuesday and Thursday to play before they moved. They are coming back though, b/c they miss their friends. LOL. yay. Anyhoo- yes. And do not feel guilty. You are not only a mom now, you are still Mia and I think those people work best on a level playing field, not when only one is in the spotlight. ;)

i think. its important for moms to have time. even bringing an infant along for the first year isnt that big a deal with slings & nursing. you can do your own thing with an infant - not so with a toddler. but yeah in my ap group we've started getting together in the evening w/o the kids about once a month. its nice.

We've seen the incredibles a zillion times in the past few days. Lochy calls it the "bles" He shortens thinggs to the end of their name. For easter baskets we are doing books for the church bag, a small parachute, a bird-feeder kit, and something else that I haven't choosen yet but it'll be spring-y and outdoorsy. And skittle eggs and peeps and a chocolate bunny cause its tradition. I think thats all though.

Boys are notorious for not wanting to poop in the potty. If you ignore it, I promise you that one day in the near future, he will just simply start pooping in the potty with no problems whatsoever. I'm sad to hear that you are hopeless over this. #1) It's just 4 years (yes, I realize a lot can happen but in the grand scheme it's not that long). #2) Just voting has been proven not to make as big of an impact as many hoped for. Almost, but not quite. Many of my dem friends have decided to do something about it by getting out there and volunteering for their local Dem headquarters and by trying to reach out to more independents/republicans to see how they can make a difference in 4 years. May as well be proactive so you aren't feeling this way next time. I hope you can get back on your way up soon.

update April 6, 2020: Sorry, we just had 8+ hours downtime due to a server problem. Restoring from backups took soooo long, but everything is back and no data was lost. Ay yay yay! Anyhow, hope everyone is well with the virus stuff.
